It was a very good location, the breakfast was very good, service was good, the only downside, but this seems to be all hotels in Oostende is no air conditioning for those hotter nights!

The hotel was very lovely looking, very very clean. The rooms were a good size and the bathroom too. The staff were kind and very helpful. There was buffet breakfast included and it was very good, with a lot of variety in foods. The location was amazing as well as it was very close by to a big park that had a Christmas market, and the city was beautiful. There were so many Christmas decorations and lights. A lot of parking spaces around the hotel, and parking was free during the night, therefore it was a bit of a problem finding any spaces near by but was manageable.

The hotel was perfect for our needs - right in the centre of Ostend. The Kursal Centre is only 1 minutes walk from the hotel As with all Belgian cities car parking can be very expensive ie 17 Euros a night under the hotel but the Receptionist directed us to a large free car park 10 minuites away.

The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious and comfortable by European standards. The location is perfect with a short walk to get to the beach and a short walk in the other direction to get to shops, restaurants and a beautiful park. The hotel staff was extraordinarily accommodating and kind. We had a situation where we had to rearrange rooms in the middle of our stay and they were very understanding. Also, there was a train strike the day that we had to leave for Brussels and they went above and beyond to make everything work for us. Highly recommend!

The room itself is a bit outdated but clean and comfortable ( it was a family one which consists of 2 separate rooms which is a big advantage if you are staying with kids)). Very uncomfortable beds and pillows. Room had no air conditioning or fans and it was warm and uncomfortable. Bathroom was exceptionally small (2 people did not fit at the same time). good for the price but needs a little work
I was upgraded for free due to the off season which was nice. The main room light above the bed didn't work but I did ok with the lamps. The shower had almost no water pressure for the hot water but was fine with cold water. Not very nice when it's cold out and just want a nice hot shower. The heated bathroom floor was really nice though. One afternoon I had placed to \"do not disturb\" hanger on the door and the cleaning lady just walked in without knocking. I verified that the door hanger was still there and it was so I don't why she just walked in.
Fixing the hot water and making sure all items in the room function (such as lights) and I'd give the stay a rating of 5. The staff was great at check in, check out and breakfast.

Having visited Oostend around 12 times before and stayed at some Hotels nearby I would say that this City partner Hotel is by far the best I have come across. Bedroom was spacious, breakfast had a good choice of food and on site lounge area was great value and very nicely presented. Minor details was the bathroom could do with being updated but overall that was not a problem.

The hotel is ideally is ideally situated in the centre of Ostend.We were disappointed that our rooms weren't ready on our arrival despite the time being well after the stated check-in time. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with nothing being too much trouble.
The rooms are on the small side but decently furnished. We stayed at the beginning of July when it was very hot but there were no fans in the room and the temperature was very uncomfortable at times especially when trying to sleep.
There was a good selection of foods for breakfast although the lack of staff in the dining room meant some of the dishes took a long time to be replenished after they emptied by some guests who clearly hadn't eaten for a long time or who were stocking up for the day with little consideration for others.
The bar had a wide selection of drinks and was surprisingly cheap compared to many bars and cafes in the area.
Overall we had a very good time and I would certainly recommend this hotel to others.

Gezellig hotelletje midden in Oostende
Super vriendelijk personeel. We konden onze bagaga voor en na ons verblijf nog bij de receptie laten staan. Wij hadden een enorm ruime familiekamer met 2 aparte slaapkamers. Je komt de kamer binnen in een gangetje waardoor de beide slaapkamers een eigen deur hebben, alsook de badkamer. Hierdoor wordt je s nachts niet wakker als iemand aan de andere kant naar het toilet gaat. De ene kamer had een tweepersoonsbed, de andere een stapelbed met onderaan tweepersoonsbed. In totaal dus voor 5 personen.
Het interieur is een beetje ouder, vooral in de badkamer, maar alles is wel heel schoon. Zeker prijs-kwaliteit met het ontbijt dat is inbegrepen (broodjes, beleg, zelfs gerookte zalm, koffiekoekjes, roerei, spek).
Ik had hier vorig jaar ook al alleen overnacht, en dit jaar met de familie. Locatie is dan ook geweldig, een laar minuten en je bent midden op de dijk.
Tip: parkeer je auto gratis bij Strandparking Oosteroever en pak de tram naar het centrum, tramhalte bijna voor de deur van het hotel.

Nous avions réservé le parking proposé à 150m et nous avions bien fait car le prix proposé pour l’hôtel était très interessant pour un stationnement de 2j.

L'hôtel Ter Streep est idéalement situé à 400 m de la plage et à proximité immédiate du centre-ville d'Ostende. Le personnel est agréable et disponible. L'hôtel est propre mais il mériterait une petite mise à jour car les chambres commencent à dater. Le petit déjeuner est très fourni et varié.

Na ja. Mal wieder eines der Hotels in dem man definitiv zu viel bezahlt hat.

Empfehlen kann ich das Hotel somit nicht und schon gar nicht für 115€ doe Nacht.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und größtenteils sauber. Allerdings war das Badezimmer dringend renovierungsbedürftig (lockere Steckdose, abplatzende Holzverkleidung, wackelige Duschvorhang-Halterung).

Hôtel correct et bien situé par rapport à la plage, les restaurants et les commerces. Très bon accueil et personnel à l'écoute. Large choix au niveau du petit-déjeuner (manque d'un petit accueil niveau du petit-déjeuner). Chambre familiale grande (juste le sèche-cheveux qui surchauffe et qui s'arrête automatiquement au bout d'une minute) et située au calme.

Insgesamt ein schönes, sauberes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Es gibt ein paar Kleinigkeiten die man verbessern könnte, zb war es nicht immer möglich als Familie mit 5 Personen morgens beim Frühstück an einem Tisch sitzen zu können. Insgesamt war aber alles in Ordnung, die Lage ist auch sehr gut in der Nähe des Strandes, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und nah zum Leopoldpark.

Locatie was echt helemaal top, dichtbij het strand, openbaar vervoer en bij het winkelcentrum. Personeel was vriendelijk en hielpen waar ze konden. Ontbijt was meer dan prima, alle gemakken voorzien. Kamer was schoon, groot en hier was echt niets mis mee. Een perfecte uitvalbasis voor een midweekje oostende!

The room is very small, the hair dryer didn't work, there were broken lamps in the room. we were 5 people, 4 adults and 1 child, there were beds for 4 people, we had to sleep with a child. The child was charged full price. The mattresses are terrible as are the pillows, it's impossible to sleep, it's a torment. Not worth your money. It's not 3 stars, I wouldn't even give 1.
