The view-pools to ocean with sunset straight out made it the best. Delicious food. Close to 5th Ave. free shuttle or even a 2 mile walk for exercise. High quality clean room. It’s checks all of the boxes for a great vacation.

Room outdated and not kept up to modern standards. Staff not helpful or cooperative and at times very rude. I overpaid for rooms. Expedia and hotel would not price match lower rate. I would not bring my family back here unless there was a complete overhaul of facilities and management/staff. Very disappointed.

Overall the location, room and property is excellent. Service is top shelf. If cost is not an issue and you want a great experience, this is it. Controlled access to all areas and beach is private. The Opal properties are right on the water, sunset is fantastic every night.
Only issue was conflicting information regarding having a guest for the day.

This is the 2nd time I stayed here and I normally do not go to the same place twice because there are so many wonderful places to see in this world, but this location, staff, food, room, service service service it's unmatched. If you are looking for a 100% pampered trip, this is the spot. They meet each and every request promptly. Cannot recommend it enough, and this is NOT a paid advertisement.

We had a wonderful stay — the rooms are great, and the menu is reliable and consistent. I did rent a movie for my granddaughter for $24.99, but since she fell asleep, we couldn’t finish it. The next day she wanted to continue watching, and I was surprised to learn I’d need to pay again. It might be nice if families had the option to resume rentals or, even better, if a couple of additional children’s channels were available. That would be a thoughtful addition to an already delightful family property.

We’ve been staying at this hotel in Naples for many years, and we keep coming back because the beachfront is stunning and the staff are exceptional. Their kindness and service play a significant role in our decision to return.

That said, I want to provide some honest feedback: the beachfront apartments are in need of renovation. The interiors feel dated and do not align with the price being charged. For such a beautiful location, it’s disappointing that the accommodations don't reflect the same standard.

We would love to continue choosing this hotel for years to come, but we hope improvements can be made to the rooms so that the overall experience matches the incredible setting and the outstanding team.

Majority of the staff were friendly. Always gets the things you need right away when asked. Our first time here and they even upgraded our room to partial beach front view. It’s a place to relax and shopping & good dining. I wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking to party. There was a mix up on our bill, but they took care of it right away. Everything is expensive around this area, but well worth it!! : )

My favorite hotel

I went for 4 nights and 3 days solo trip. I stayed in a king suite at the tower, facing the ocean and it was beautiful. The service is always great and Michael (front desk) was very helpful in adding another night to my stay. My suite was very clean and comfortable. I had a huge balcony with an amazing view of the ocean and the pool. The only thing I don’t care for is the food they serve. Not too many options for lunch and dinner and the options they have are not the greatest. Also, the pool bar serves very watery drinks.

We had a wonderful time. The hotel staff were very friendly and went above and beyond. The private beach was great and there were enough chairs by the pool. The food was tasty. We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was large with plenty of space. Great water pressure in the showers. Only cons would be that the pet fee seemed a bit high for our 5lb yorkie and our suite had almost no view as we had a wall facing our balcony with just a peek of the pool and beach.. Will definitely be back.

We stayed in a two-bedroom suite, which was a good size for a family. While the suite itself was spacious, it felt somewhat outdated, as did the hotel overall.

Unfortunately, the service was disappointing—not outright rude, but rather dismissive. When selecting a hotel, we debated between the Ritz Tiburon and the Edgewater, as both were similarly priced. We ultimately chose the Edgewater based on its stronger reviews, but this proved to be a mistake. The pricing was comparable to the Ritz, but the service did not meet the same standard—not even close.

If you are deciding between these two options, I strongly recommend choosing the Ritz brand for a superior experience.

I’ve stayed an Opal Collection hotel in Clearwater and loved it. But honestly this one probably shouldn’t be a part of their chain. It’s a very dated property in a beautiful location. Avoid the indoor restaurant and bar especially for dinner as the service was awful. I think the price is way too high for the hotel. If it wasn’t on the beach you’d be happier at a newer Holiday Inn.

This hotel is very clean the staff is so nice & helpful. There is a couple of things that were not so great we could hear the chairs drag from the room above us very loud woke me up and the second was the elevator was giving us some trouble and mom has bad knees she had to go up and down the stairs a couple of times.

Spent 4 nights at the beach hotel it was great! Big balcony with great views of morning sun! Watched sunsets right from the beach and you can spend all day just on the property grounds. Shuttle was great and short drive to access 5th street shopping and dining.
