Hotel appears to be attractive, but screwed up a lot of stuff. They apparently didn't account for our reservation and had to search for a room of the right class that was available for 2 days. They didn't follow up on our request for a dinner reservation for the first evening. Desk staff friendly and helpful. Room large enough (as promised), but cheaply and sparsely furnished. View is limited (but nice) because windows are about 5' up, so to see a view, you need to peer over the window sill. No built in lighting fixtures- just a torchiere lamp, with a sliding dimmer. Internet seems okay, except at 7pm, when bandwidth seemed saturated. Thermostat only decorative - front desk adjusted room temp. Plumbing a problem - sink drains very slowly, poor toilet flush, room not cleaned properly. Breakfast buffet had issues - weak coffee, some dirty dishes, cold bacon (and limited amount). Hotel restaurant was excellent for dinner - perhaps the best meal I've had in France so far on this trip. Location reasonably good. Got (limited) parking out front. Overall, building is nice enough and location is good enough, but there are obviously management issues.

Hôtel comfortable et très bien placé. Pratique pour les chiens avec le parc en bas. Sur hôtel.com c’est noté parking sur place mais bon au final oui parking sur place non couvert et non surveillé à 18 euros jour et 20 euros pour le chien… un peu cher je trouve. Accueil et service très correct mais bon on paie pour.

You have a very nice hotel and we have only two issues - 1) The constant Muzak with English/amerikan popular music ( why not French?) And 2) we missed a wider selection of the lovely French cheese at the breakfast buffet.

Really lovely hotel. Modern and well designed interior , high quality tasteful furnishings and decor. Very comfortable room with bright, very spacious bathroom. Our room was in the annex across the street from the main building and was a bit dark due to just one very small window but overall design with skylight and mirrors helped . Our room was not ready until an hour After check in time but management provided a complimentary glass of wine and beer in their lovely courtyard, which was appreciated. We really liked this hotel .

2 night stopover when driving through area

Good central location easy to walk to main attractions in old town. Thankfully had Google Maps for finding way into hotel as would have been much harder without that. Staff all very pleasant. We didn't eat in hotel on both nights stay as was fully booked on arrival. (We chose not to pre-book until we saw menu and location) Restaurant looked a bit lacking in atmosphere as seemed more of a business hotel. Bar area hard to define and not a particularly pleasant seating arrangement. However some of that due to the need to preserve the original architecture which is impressive. Rooms and bathrooms very pleasant and good lots of space and facilities

Modern hotel in a historic building next the central plaza and park in historic Metz. Our room was spacious with a comfortable king bed, separate water closet, and a shower and soaking tub. The location made for easy touring of the old town including the cathedral and museums. The staff was friendly, and provided great support. We made use of the free bicycles one afternoon. We did not use the morning breakfast at 20 euros, taking the time to eat around town. We did eat in the restaurant one night and had an excellent experience.

The receptionist was very helpful. The hotel is in easy walking distance to the town. We arrived at 5 pm and managed to get the last parking space. Other cars were parked over the cycle lane. We would have liked to have been able to reserve a space in advance since we had driven from
Italy and parking in Metz itself would have been difficult. We hope to return again and see more of the town.

Excellent food in the evening. Very poor service at breakfast with no-one explaining the system. We were offered coffee as we sat diem for breakfast but after 20 mins still none had appeared. The car park is not secure. Two sets of guests in the night we were there had items stolen from their cars.
Be aware if you have heavy luggage that there are two short flights of steps to reception and the small lift for wheelchairs was broken,
Altogether not good value for money.

Great stay at this beautiful hotel. Room was huge and had gorgeous views over a green space. Parking was additional but very handy and safe. Breakfast was fabulous with plenty of choice. We ate in the restaurant for both nights of our stay and enjoyed the food and service

Hospitality done wrong

30° heat and manager came to move us from outside on the patio area as we “were not eating and is only for food”. No one else was there, it was a completely ridiculous conversation and demonstrated a lack of welcoming guests. We left and had beer in the square, won’t be back.

Reception rapide and staff very welcoming and helpful. Dine and breakfast out so cannot comment on food.

One very little issue perhaps despite an excellent bathroom with all necessities, a proper shower head (small hand shower) could be useful for those who prefer showers to bath. Personally loved relaxing in a bath.

Beautiful hotel; exceptional staff

Modern hotel set in a medieval building. Large, airy room; quiet hallways. Exceptionally kind and accommodating staff. We needed to get our laundry done, and the staff saw that it was completed in 12 hours. Nice, nice people. Wonderful location: just a 3-block walk to the old city. Flowering gardens. Beautiful.

Fine hotel in good location

The hotel is fine. The check in desk is not always staffed by a person. Sometimes they are wandering around but it is not clear that they work there and it is a bit confusing. That said, once you get someone, they are very friendly, polite and helpful. The rooms are large and clean. The location is perfect, just a couple of blocks from the city center with plenty of parking.

We had a two day stay. The property and facilities were ok. But we were disappointed in the front desk / concierge support. There seemed to be very limited willingness to help and offer assistance. Klassiek goed maar heeft een update nodig

Goede ligging in het centrum van Metz. De kamer was ruim maar niet bij de tijd bijvoorbeeld een douche in het bad. Daarnaast veel kleine beschadigingen zichtbaar, tijd voor een renovatie.
Het concept van ontvangst werkt niet, het is zonder receptie maar met aanwezigheid van personeel in de hal. Het is vertragend, komt slordig over en geeft te weinig privacy.

Séjour affaire dans le plus bel hôtel de Metz...un bâtiment historique de caractère avec des chambres spacieuses, bien aménagées et avec tout le confort souhaité.
Très bonne literie et personnel très à l'écoute des souhaits de la clientèle (room service, possibilité de rester plus longtemps en chambre...).
La table permettant de diner mériterait d'être un peu plus grande.
La salle de bain est très spacieuse et bien aménagée.
La situation est idéale puisqu'on est tout proche du centre ville.

Hôtel moderne et luxueux très bien situé, avec tout le confort nécessaire à un agréable séjour.
Certains espaces (toilettes, salle de bain) pourraient être un peu remodernisés mais la chambre est grande, bien décorée et avec tous les équipements.
Il est proche du centre ville et au calme.
La restauration sur place est de qualité et les soins vraiment au top (massage thai).
Il y a également une facilité de stationnement avec un parking privé situé face à l'hôtel.
En somme une très bonne adresse voir la meilleure pour un séjour pro ou privé sur Metz.
