Upon arrival we had to walk through water to get feom the parking garage to the hotel for check-in. Our room had sunflower seeds shells and bottle caps still on the floor. We had to make two different requests to get the room cleaned. Our room was not cleaned for the rest of the stay. One staff from housekeeping who was cleaning the room next our room in the late afternoon said the tag was on the door until the end of our housekeepers staff which was not true. We took it off and left by 9:30. We did not have service the next day. When we asked guest services about it , they said that if housekeeping passes and you have a Do Not Disturb tag it means you don't want your room cleaned at all. We felt dismissed by guest services and were disappointed by the housekeeping services.

It is a bit far from everything on the strip, so do your research depending on where you’re going. We ended up ubering a lot. The room was clean, the towers are nice, it just gets a little hot inside your room due to how the property is built, but we were out most of the time so we didn’t notice. Room was clean, stay was pleasant, staff was helpful. For one of the cheaper options on the strip, I can’t complain!

Floor in the restroom of our room was not clean, the sink had a sewer odor after water would run, when we 1st checked into our room the trash can was literally full , but the lady that was there was helpful during checkout. Thanks to her I wish I would’ve gotten her name because some of the staff weren’t as helpful

The check-in process is done by kiosk. Because you have to pay people and not kiosks. It was easy enough to scan my id and find my reservation. I received an email immediately letting me know my check-in was complete and I would receive another email with information about how to get my keys for my room. After 15 minutes, I found a person to ask about when I will get my email that my room is ready. They told me I should get the email in about 5 minutes - that it usually takes about 20 minutes. When I still didn't have the email or my room in 30 minutes, I got in line to talk with the front desk personnel. After another 15 minutes in line, I finally got to talk with someone and had a room and keys within a few minutes.
I can't remember the last time I was expected to wait at least 20 minutes from the time of successful check-in to get my room key. And then that turned into 45 minutes before I actually had room keys. This was at 11 pm, not in the afternoon asking for early check-in.

Stayed in the pyramid, rooms haven't been updated in a while. Water pressure was extreme and would hurt if it hit you in the right place. Stayed a week they only changed the sheets once, they did come in most days to make bed, take out the trash, and give towels but didnt clean anything. 1 of the 3 pools where open, the others were being redone. Food court was decent. Drinks were good. Gym was ok only basic equipment.Decent for the price I would stay again.

Ok for the price. Check in was crazy. Lot of walking to get to your room. Food court very expensive. $40.00 for two hot dogs with fries and drinks. Hotdogs were awful, fries okay. $20.00 a day to park. Breakfast at the Pryamid Cafe pretty good,waffles really good.

This place is really cool in the outside but once you get in, there isn’t much to do. They have kiosk check in so there’s no one to greet you or ask questions. There is a very basic pool area in the back. They had 3 exhibit options to see, but each tickets was $40 for an adult, to see an exhibit that takes an hour to go through. I don’t gamble so the slot machines weren’t interesting.

The room was basic but good. And the bed was really comfortable.

There is a tram to get to Excalibur, which saves a 15 min walk. Then you have to get off and walk around to see the other hotels a few blocks north.

My stay at the Luxor Hotel & Casino was fantastic from start to finish. The staff was welcoming, professional, and always willing to help. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and offered great amenities that made my stay enjoyable and stress-free.
The location on the Las Vegas Strip was convenient, making it easy to explore nearby attractions, restaurants, and entertainment. My room was spacious, well-maintained, and provided beautiful views. I also appreciated the variety of dining options and the lively atmosphere throughout the property.
Overall, the Luxor delivered excellent value, outstanding customer service, and a memorable Las Vegas experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vegas

They're trying a new self-checking system and it is lacking. The wait times for your room key are longer than what is acceptable. We checked into our room and did not have toilet paper. It took more than 2 hours and several phone calls to housekeeping to have some delivered to our room. We have stayed on many occasions at this hotel and this last trip was not the best. Overall, I would still say it is a good value.

The property is close to strip Not far from airport Our room was in the tower, it was nice but could use some touching up It is a pretty good walk to the elevator from the lobby but the view on the 19th floor was pretty. There is no conditioner -you get soap, shampoo and body wash and a hair dryer. There is a iron and ironing board No refrigerator unless you pay a daily fee.
Highly recommend you download MGM app and do self check in and check out. Alot easier than waiting in line at desk. There is a free tram that joins Excaliber, Luxor and Mandalay Bay. The food vendors are mostly quick grab.

The building layout was confusing. We had reserved two rooms and they were in separate towers. The way the key cards worked meant I could not go up to my parent's room and they could not come up to mine, since the cards only worked in your elevators. The elevators were confusing; a guest explained the elevators to me when I first got in one, and I had to explain it to a few guests later. We weren't there for gambling, so I won't review the casino.

The room itself was comfortable and had a bathtub and separate shower. I did enjoy the shower's water pressure. However, on our second night, there was no water in the wee hours of the morning.

Although the hotel boasts three pools, only one was open, as the other two were undergoing some sort of renovation or maintenance. Walking out to the self-park lot between the two closed pools, it smelled strongly of sewage, which was not helped by the Vegas heat.

We also ate at the steakhouse, which was very good. There are two Starbucks cafes, one of which I believe is open 24/7.

As we were checking out, we had some issues with a few charges. We had to stand in a line for about 45 minutes to discuss our concerns with staff. A woman was allowed to cut in front of the line \"just to ask a question\" (which is what we were all in line for). When a fight nearly broke out, two security guards showed up, told us to calm down, and did nothing. Luxor should either hire more employees to work that desk or have less issues.

The check in process was not very intuitive and the staff was not very friendly nor communicative of how to proceed. If you have more than one room, I would skip the self check-in kiosks and try to talk with a representative to ensure you’re able to request rooms on same floor, accurately check in, etc.
Elevators were scary - on our way off the elevators, on multiple occasions it lagged, lights went out and was shakey. Definitely not a good feeling when having to utilize the elevators many floors up.
When it comes to the casino floor, it would be nice to have the ability to play regular Texas Hold’em with a poker room rather than only 3-card or Ultimate. Dealers can be snobby, no patience for new comers and hard to get on a table when it’s so busy.
Bathroom floor and showers were SO slippery!!!

I am so disappointed with this place. We arrived at 4:45 PM and didn't get checked in until 7:00 PM—it took over two hours just to get our room! The staff was incredibly rude, mean, and highly unorganized. The entire process moved at a snail's pace, and they desperately need more workers.
To make matters worse, when I mentioned I needed a quick moment to unlock my payment card, they literally forced me to go all the way to the back of the line to start over. Because of their horrible service and terrible attitude, we completely missed out on going to the pool. Avoid this place if you value your time and want decent service.

We really liked the place. We haven’t stayed here before and wish we had gotten a room closer to the main desk and casino. It was a very long way to everything from our room. For an 80 & 81 year old it was too far to exit or anything. We were in 7-314.
If we stay again we’ll know.
In general we enjoyed our stay very much.

The room was clean except for 1 of the comforters was dirty n they forgot the plastic bag for the ice bucket the whole stay and the lights in the room is not bright enough. The elevators are terrible with having to scan your key card to get to your floor. I booked 3 room at the same time n we were put on different floors so you can't go the another floor without having a key card for that floor. You either have to get multiple keys and walk around with a lot of unmarked key cards or keep going down to the lobby just meet your friend to go back up to there room. I know you want security but thats too much n some times the buttons don't work especially when multiple people on the elevators trying to scan and press there floor #

The wait time to check in was ridiculous! BUT Ms. Julie was super nice and helpful!!! The first room’s shower had hair in it, the sink didn’t drain well, there was no cold water (only hot) and the air conditioner never got cold. The second room (because we requested to be moved) the air never got cold, the shower was dirty, the remote to the TV didn’t work (maintenance took forever to come fix it) and the wallpaper in the hall was peeling from the wall. There is no refrigerator or microwave! This hotel was definitely giving old motel vibes! If you’re looking for a cheap place to stay, this is it! But remember, every deal, isn’t a deal…you get what you pay for. Never again!

The room was clean. But it took us over an hour too get checked in. They had 12 kiosk to check in on only five work. Than after we checked in we had to we another 45 mins for some kind of error! Than we go to our room and it was two queens! We wants a king since it was my husband and I. They said “they upgraded us”. The room was not very nice. So we went back down. We waited another hour to talk to someone and they fixed the room. Every night we came back to the hotel the elevators to our rooms were broken. Due to us being in the triangle part only certain ones got us to our floor. So than we had to walk across the hotel/casino to new elevators than walk around the floor to get out our room. We were there 3 nights and it happened every night!!!

Luxor change the check in process to self-check in with minimal staff recently. I was unable to use it because I didn't have a phone that would show the QR code. Went to one employee who was monitoring who could stand in line to speak with hotel staff to check in. He told me to go to the check-in kiosks, and someone will help you, I waited 3-5 mins and no one there. I went back to tell the employee that no one there, (frustration level getting higher, almost 6pm and I'm tired.) the employee told me to speak with employee with blue uniform. Finally I get my key. Get to my room and notice that it was warm in the room, check the setting and it's 65, but the room was 79. At this time I was ready to just find a place to order food and head to bed. So no i didn't alert staff.
