This review is to warn all potential guests who travel with medicines requiring fridge storage. This has happened to us for the very first time. Receptionists and hotel manager refused to put in their fridge vials of insulin for a diabetic child. Only thing staff could offer was a ridiculous suggestion of 20 mins walk to a pharmacy and seek their kindness there. It wasn’t an option at all as it wouldn’t be open at the time of our departure. Manager also advised to prepare better next time. Did she mean dragging along plugged in fridge? - that will remain a mystery.
For the last 9 years we’ve never had an issue and each time our request has been fulfilled with a smile. Be it hotel staff, airplane or ferry crew. Never a problem. But not in this place. Hence 1 star review. No matter what response hotel bothers to publish - please be warned. Don’t choose this place if you’re little unfortunate in life and have medicines that need to be stored in a fridge. Happy travels everyone.
