I booked this hotel for my parent's weekend getaway; they were very pleased. Hotel is just a few minutes away from the train station and 15 min from the market square. Room was tidy, bathroom clean. Breakfast was the highlight of their stay- super delicious! Thank you for making this trip a pleasant experience!

This stay was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel of this level. At the reception, I was greeted by a very rude young woman. She provided no necessary information, couldn’t even find my reservation, and just kept repeating “I don’t know.” In the end, she told me to call Hotels.com myself.

Next, as shown in the photo, the shower was terrible. The drain had clearly never been cleaned and was covered in mold, smelling like a sewer. It was clogged with someone else’s hair, so the water wouldn’t drain, leaving you standing in a disgusting pool of dirty water.

Miserable staff look like their doing community service rather than working. Male in reception was welcoming and friendly but lady in cafe knew how to charge for coffee but didn't know how to make it, I received a glass of hot milk with a touch of coffee colouring. When challenged I was told I would have to pay for an extra shot when I was charged 19 zloty for milk that should've been coffee. Lady on reception departure day couldn't crack a smile never mind a joke, she had zero people skills and looked an uncontent, miserable individual that should not be in hospitality. 2 single duvets on a double bed and curtains that covered 3/4's the width of the windows, air con was purely an artefact for show. Hospitality is just a word here. The place has history and character but most of the staff I had the joy of interacting with have no pride or happiness in working here.

The hotel has in the past been quite grand. The situation is good,with the train station and Rynek both within walking distance.
It was stated that bottled water was provide and as I need to take medication, that was a plus.
However, each time I asked, I was told that there had been no delivery, therefore, none was available.
BUT, when a large group arrived, I witnessed a trolley stacked high with bottled water being taken by lift!
This is not acceptable, water should be freely available to ALL the hotel guest.

A very good hotel in convenient location. Just a few minutes from where the number 106 airport bus drops you at the end of the line, and very close to the train station.15 minutes walk to the old town. Very good breakfast. Nice lounge and bar area, pity it closes at 20.00. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Our room stank of cigarette smoke - we are non-smokers. Room wasn’t refreshed during our 3 night stay.

Lovely stay buy no AC

The AC wasn’t working in the rooms. I asked to be changed immediately upon checkin. When I got to the new room, there was air coming out of the AC dust but it wasn’t cold. That night, it was warm and impossible for me to sleep. I was sweating. Called reception and the gentleman was very nice who offered to change my room immediately or the next morning. I decided to do so the next morning.

The next morning, I asked to be changed and the lady at reception told me the whole hotel AC wasn’t working and they will fixed it within an hour.

I later asked for a refund of my stay if the AC isn’t working. Spoke to Alina. She spoke to her Manager who offered to change to another room. But not until they’ve checked to make sure the AC is working. Alina moved me to a lower floor room which had been refurbished. Lovely bathroom and it was a huge bonus. It was cooler but the AC only pumped out cool air (not cold) but I was happy with it as the nights were cool. In addition, Alina listened to me and my suggestions. She took them all on board and presented it to her Manager, who agreed to compensate me by providing free breakfast for the rest of my stay.

Overall, it was a nice stay as the hotel is very central and of course the Service Recovery initiated by Alina made the difference.

What a great hotel! It was a reasonably short walk from & to rail station. Reception Center - Oliwia arranged for us to get our breakfast early because the train for Poznan was leaving at 7:33 am on our day of the departure. Our 2 single beds were very comfortable to sleep. That water cooking pot was nice for cup of tea. The bathroom was exceptional easy to use shower with plenty of towels. My granddaughter & me both enjoyed staying there.

Nice historical hotel but not run very well

The hotel had air-conditioning malfunction so throughout our whole 3 night stay in July (top of summer) we had to sleep with windows open and listen to the traffic outside. The reception said the air-conditioning will be fixed in August :)
On the day of checkout the elevator had a malfunction and I had to carry two heavy (25 kg) pieces of luggage down the staircase.
The drainage in my shower was stuck and it took the water 20-30 minutes to drain fully.
Staff at reception was junior and not very helpful.
When I asked for a spare room key to be able to access my kids' room they said they ran out of them due to high occupancy.
Otherwise the hotel was ok for the price and location. I liked that the rooms had a historical feel to them, but seemed well maintained.

Good location, close to the railway station and public transport. Feels a bit like the time has stopped. Restaurant opens only for breakfast but breakfast had good choices. Room needed better hoovering not just the centre of the roo. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Overall, not bad for 1 night stay.

Nasty surprise.

I arrived to hotel Europejski at 3.30 am as my flight was delayed and I was told that my booking was moved to another hotel-Polonia. When I artived here receptionist wasn't aware and couldn'tfind my booking. After 15 minutes I finally received a room.Room wasn't clean, a bit stinky, no tea/coffee facilities and in general much lower standard that I booked.The only socket to charge my phone was in the bathroom. At 9.20 housekeeper woke me up trying to unlock the door. I wasn't informed about change of the hotel which was apparently known earlier. Overall it was a dreadful experience.

The staff were all pleasant, especially Andre, he was excellent and very helpful, always with a smile on his face. I recommend the hotel.

The location is super conveniente because only few steps away from the central station of Wroclaw.
The hotel is a bit dated although it is visible that money has been spent to renovate it.
The reception staff was welcoming despite the very late hour of my check-in, and in fact they were gracious also to lend me a charging cable for my phone.
The most disappointing part is the cleanliness: there is no consistency. The sheets for instance were immaculate and smelled fresh; but the carpet in the room was filthy; in the bathroom there was a glass that still had residues of the drink from the previous occupant.
Breakfast offering was wide, but I was welcomed by a waitress who absolutely needed my breakfast voucher, so I had to go fetch it.
Anyway, the food was good and prepared with a certain degree of attention. On the other hand, the quality of some of the products was very average (orange juice, etc).
I would go back only if there were no alternatives.

Low quality pretending to be good standard

Hotel itself is expensive for what if offers. Carpet in my room was stained with some black stains, shower was leaking, when I entered there was lots of air refreshing spray in the room (really overhelming). When if faded away other stinky rotten smell replaced it. It is impossible to park in front or even close to the hotel. Security guard was sitting and watching football game in the lobby.

The hotel is fairly close to city center. The room was ok,decent size and nice bathroom but there was no fridge and the carpets looked old. The first thing that put us off was the ignorance of the reception staff,horrible welcoming. The breakfast was alright but the coffee was more like a joke lol. Since the breakfast isn't included you might as well consider taking the br3akfast somewhere else (loads of choices around the city center)

Every query we had at this hotel was responded with a negative response. No food in restaurant despite arriving at 7pm. Hotel stated newspapers available again no. We had to get new shower gell as container was left empty. Cups and glasses in rooms are left uncleaned. Poor selection at breakfast. Poor situation.

Booked room but lovely suite with nice traditional feel. Quite at back of hotel. Reception staff very helpful, and nice coffee shop. Breakfast average could be better.
Excellent transport links nearby for sightseeing airport & railway. An easy walk into old town & to bars & restaurants.
We had a great stay and would use this hotel again excellent value.

Frankly speaking, i think the hotel facility is ok for this rate. The reason i am giving bad review is:
1. The girls in the reception are really cold and not friendly at all, except a guy who was very helpful.
2. I told the reception at 8:20 am that i need a taxi at 9 am. But when i came down to the lobby, there was no taxi. 5 minutes later, they called and tell me that i have to wait 10 mins. I said i will be late for my meeting. They said its rush hour. i know, that's why i told you 40 mins in advance to book the taxi. Then they call other companies, and 1 do come in 3 mins. But i lost 20 mins in lobby already, which made me nervous for being late to the meeting. But again no smiling face, no apology.
3. They do let me do late check out at 14:00. that's great. but when i asked for receipt, they said something wrong with the computer. I don't know how long i have to wait and i have a train to catch. So i told them never mind. its not that important. Again, no smiling face, no apology. I do not care that i don't get receipt, just their attitude is ruining all positive sides of the hotel and your stay.
The hotel lacks of basic staff training.

GOOD WEEKENDER HOTEL NEAR TRAIN STATION

Hotel was a good location for train travel and easy access to Old Town Market Square. We were here to experience the mid year celebrations (FLOW) for Wrocław being the 2016 European Capital of Culture. We were traveling with friends who also booked a room at Europejski. It was very comfortable, nice size rooms and bathroom, quiet, with a good hot and cold breakfast. Hotel has a dwarf right outside its door and just down the street is a very moving art installation depicting the beginning and end of Marshall Law.

10 nights stay was very cheap and the staff were friendly - the breakfast porter smiled like he loved his job. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from where the airport bus (406) terminates, a few minutes walk from the main train station (Glowny) and trams run past your door. People in general are very friendly and made my stay a very enjoyable one!

Disappointing

During our 3 day stay in a *suite* both the tap and shower were broken and we had only freezing cold water. We reported it, but the hotel only sent a security guard (?!), who verified that the water was fine. It wasn't. In the end we asked a receptionist to give us access to another room, with working water, so we could take a shower, and she agreed.

The hotel seems to have a serious plumbing problem. Few times a day there was a bad sewage smell on the corridor.

Badly cleaned plates in the restaurant where we had breakfast were the final straw.

Some stuff members were trying to be helpful, others not so much. For instance, we tried to get a second keycard for our room (as we were two). The first receptionist refused. We had to try again later and eventually got the card.

Big rooms, good value but dated in places

This hotel is OK. It has good points and bad points (see below). It is priced well so I would stay there again. The rooms are really big, the location is great as it is close to the train station and also near the bus stop for the airport bus. Walk into the tourist centre is about 15 minutes and very easy.

Pros: Location, room size, price, aircon in the room that worked better than in most expensive hotels.
Cons: They used single sheets and single duvets on a double bed. The décor is quite dated. A little bit noisy from the trams and the pedestrian crossings. The cot they provided for our baby was falling apart. It seems an effort for staff to do something for you (like fetching a high chair for your baby).

Stayed 4 nights,very impressed with staff on reception,spoke English and went out of their way to give us the information we needed when asked for.
Kettle and hair dryer in room,but would advise taking your own cups as the ones supplied were only cardboard.
we were given a room at the back,not very scenic,but so lovely and quiet at night!!Great location for transport for the city

2nd stay at the Europejski Wrocław , Walk across the road from the main railway station 400 yards on your left perfect location.
Room was well furnished beautifully decorated, bed a delight, bathroom gorgeous.

Dining room for breakfast stunning , good choice for breakfast .

If you want to make a tea in your room ask for milk in hotel café as none in room
polish drink in black.
15 min walk to town centre- bus stop to airport 5 mins away

A great hotel, a short walk from the old town and almost right across from the train station. Sometimes the elevator smelled slightly foul, but other than that it was an excellent hotel. We even accidentally ate the (not free) breakfast without paying one morning (sorry!) - it was quite good!

Fantastic value for money

Super hotel only a 15 minute walk from the main square. Can be a little noisy if your room faces the main road but I wouldn't let this put me off. Breakfast is excellent value for money with everything topped up regularly. We got the bus from the airport and the last stop is only a three minute walk from the hotel and at only 3 zloty (60p), fine value for money. All in all you won't go far wrong with this hotel.

This hotel is excellent in many ways,very helpful reception staff,our room was a suit which was very spacious and clean,room service very good,now to the downside,the restaurant / dining room is so dated,in need of a total refurbishment, shelving holding all the plates,cups and bowls is on brackets you would find in a garage or tool shed,this area really let's this hotel down,everywhere else in the hotel in excellent condition.
Having said this I would stay in this hotel again when in Wroclaw .

However its a reasonable hotel and has some good points about it, like location from Wroclaw main train station and bus station. If you are travelling from Wroclaw to another city, it’s a good choice. City centre is not very far, and can be reached on foot by approximately 15 minutes. Staff is also good, however during busy period long queue at the reception can be a nonsense, due to only one or two people working at the reception.

I don’t normally eat in at the restaurant (even breakfast) and would recommend all travellers to have the room option without breakfast, as its cheaper and you can eat food of your choice in the city at a reasonable price.

Overall room Price is not bad.

Nice hotel, but watch for currency conversions

The hotel itself was nice and clean. However, my confirmation email from hotels.com stated \"Your booking is guaranteed and you’ll be charged by the hotel in their local currency within 72 hours.\" My credit card statemen showed that I was charged by the hotel in dollars. I should have been charged PLN, but the hotel charged me in dollars. My credit card does not charge an exchange fee, so I was overcharged by the hotel a minor amount. This is a dishonest practice by the hotel.

Great Hotel!

Perfect location, nice rooms, great staff. Just avoid the restaurant for anything but breakfast, as they substitute items described on the menu without warning or permission, and even bring out a small glass of water when you ask for tap, only to claim it was from a bottle on the bill and charge you a premium for it. But if you eat dinner elsewhere - and there's no reason not to with more than sufficient dining options in the area - you'll have a classy experience.

Great hotel

Really good hotel, ideal location for the train station and a short walk to the centre. Staff friendly and the rooms clean. The only thing we struggled with was the wifi. There we're certain points in the room where we couldn't get it

Great Hotel

Staff very helpful with local area questions and very friendly. Quality of the room was very good. Almost across the street from the train station, but with that comes the drawback that the area isn't as nice. Not a horrible area, but just not as nice as most areas are in Europe around the train station. Would actually say this area is better than most in Europe because of a very high police presence around the station (removing people who were loitering, etc).
