From reception to laundry, it was all locked! I had to call multiple times before the couple showed up. Room itself was quiet and nice. This is a motel that’s located close to the airport.

The place is very dingy and basic, carpet was dirty specially around the skirtings, it just felt like a dodgy motel … for $180 I would expect something way nicer.
O. The positive side, the bedding seemed clean and the bed was comfortable enough after I requested extra pillows and towels. This is not going to be my choice next time unfortunately.

After turning up and police in car park not a good start, unruly people in room further down very noisy but did not hear them later while in the room, very unfortunate start would make me think twicw about staying again, but overall room clean great shower pressure, ok for one night just the beginning a pity

Luckily just needed a night close to the airport, otherwise this would have rated lower.

Looks like cigarette burns in the blankets (good pillow though).
Leaking toilet and bathtub.
Wad of hair came out of the spa jets when turned on.
Costs $15 to get a shuttle to the airport, if you’re in the family unit (despite their website claiming $10 per unit). Same transport (van), just costs more - because they say so.
Had to wake them up and remind them of our booking for transfer to the airport.

Luckily, we just needed a room for the night. And the pillows were good.

Thanks to the staff at the Manor Inn we had a great time the location was great close to everything only distances walk to the shops and 6 minutes drive to the airport.
We love our stayed and i recommend this place to anyone is looking for an accommodation near Auckland airport. We will definitely coming back.

The jet tub was great after a late flight. Lovely bed. No pick up from motor inn as after 11pm. $40 from taxi for a 4 km ride, but got the $10 shuttle back to car hire the next morning. People were very nice. If you have an early or late flight this option may not suit…

We selected the Airport Manor Inn due to proximity to the airport and free transfer from airport. We tried to call the Hotel from the airport at about 2pm on check in day and they would not answer the phone, so we had to take a Taxi which cost NZ$50 for just 4km. The hotel does not offer any food and the nearest shops and restaurants are a 30 minute walk away. The rooms are dated and need work.

The hotel was clean and tidy, but a bit run down. They advertised airport shuttle which is why I chose them, but then had no way of actually get the shuttle which wound up costing $60 for a taxi. Also the info in the in room services book was totally out of date so had no idea what restaurants were available. Many I walked to had clearly been out of business for a long time.

We arrived late in the evening and left early the next morning, so I can’t address what’s nearby. The room was very clean and had what we needed. The only downer we noticed was that the driver to the airport the next morning wasn’t very pleasant or helpful. We would stay there again.

My only suggestion to travelers is if you would like a pickup from the airport, call 15 minutes before you need the ride as it takes him 15 - 20 minutes to get to the airport, even if you have booked ahead.

Good nights rest

The room was clean, comfortable and had all that I needed for my overnight stay. I was disappointed at the 20 dollar charge per hour to arrange an early check in, I didn’t use it. Also although there was on the website a charge for airport shuttle, the minibus is still showing as free on the side. That said I enjoyed my nights rest and would stay again.

We needed a bed for the night - a flight coming in one day and another leaving the next.
this hotel was nice and close - but when our flight got changed to after midnight - it was hard to find transportation to take us that wasn't an arm and a leg. (hotel transport was closed for the night),finally a nice fella organized a ride with the downtown bus, to drop us off.

Property was close to airport, which was convenient but location was right closed to the busy highway and had to make sudden turn in order to get to the property. Thus, heavy traffic at the area and driving wise bit scary and accident prone site. Needs to be really careful and pay good attention while taking exit and turning to it.

Free shuttle pickup from airport but $10 to for shuttle back to airport which was reasonable. Wouldn't be my first choice next time.

Motel was good and check in efficient. Sadly the people in the units beside us were totally inconsiderate ,talking loudly and constantly banging their doors until after 1am. A rule / reminder in the units requesting that people keep the noise down after 10pm would be good . Especially as the motel is near the airport and guests will be leaving early to check in for flights.

The receptionist failed to ask if i needed a shuttle to the airport even though id asked for a 4am wake up call. The shuttle left AT 4am without me! Not good communication. Also, security lock on the room door was not fitted correctly and so didn't provide a safe room in the event of an attempted invasion.
