This property was excellent. The only two problems were the parking situation in the street and a chair or two in the kitchen would have been a bonus. No cooking allowed but reheating of food allowed. In so saying I did not want to eat my food in the lounge room or my bedroom.

The property presented well and was clean and affordable. We were only after somewhere to sleep for one night. On that count, it gets a tick. However, prior to arrival we received a lengthy text containing instructions one how to check in (clearly the place is not staffed). With these instructions were a set of 'rules', such as that at; \"3. To secure and maintain Guests comfort and quiet, please stay in your room after 9pm\". Now I am 68 and neither my wife nor I are party animals and appreciate this attempt to ensure quiet, but stay in your room after 9pm! Are we not allowed out? Had us tip toeing around like cat burglars. Rule 9; \"Do not wash dishes in the common kitchen after 9pm\". \"12. Please turn your fridge on when putting food and drink in it\". For a one night stay, there's no point turning it on when we arrive. You know we're coming, turn it on before the guests arrive. Take may advice, find the extra $40 and find a motel up the road, there's a few around.

If you like a good bed and no frills while sharing a bathroom with other guests this is a good place for you. It has good wi-fi and the room heating unit is great. It is not in the bed and breakfast category since there is no breakfast, or anything resembling it. While the room heater is great the place itself is not heated - went at the start of winter and moving around was very cold, especially getting to the bathroom at night. Also cold temp not conducive to hanging out in any other room but your own - contrary

It is great if you just need a comfortable bed and a quiet place to sleep. However, the restrictions on the use of the shared facilities including the shower were not ideal for me as I had early starts and late finishes for the job I was in Sydney to do.

The property has a light and elegant design throughout. A very welcoming entrance and a little garden. Comfortable bed, sparkling white clean linen. A mini fridge, an iron&board, a TV internet, a heater and a hair dryer were provided in the room, soap&shampoo in the bathroom and all necessities in the kitchen. Everything is done with love and care. Very friendly and accommodating staff. There is not much space in the front yard for parking, but you can park on the street for 2 hrs between 8:00 and 18:00 and for any duration in other times. Very nice place.

That the lady tried to get me to upgrade 19$ per night and as I couldn't she refused to give me more bin liners plus the microwave has a smashed glass door very dangerous and she has aplastic tablecloth over the stove so no one can cook she is so mean and nasty don't go theiand the room I was in was between the kitchen and bathroom DON'T GO THERE

I have stayed at the guesthouse now for 6 consecutive weeks. I booked and paid for as per usual a double/ queen bed room as advertised. Unfortunately, I ended up in a room with a single bed that I was too tall for and which has metal legs on a tiled floor. Every time I sat on it or rolled over the bed scooted across the tiles (suggest putting carpet underneath it). Secondly, the room faces out onto Epping Road. All night you hear the trucks rushing past. Not a restful sleep at all. I understand that bookings can be mixed up occasionally, however, after a 3 hour commute to Sydney, all I need is a quiet room with a decent bed.

I didn’t like anything about the property, it was very misleading on the internet and my booking was confirmed and paid for a queen bedroom but on arrival when it was too late for me to cancel and get a refund, the owner said that there had been a booking mistake in their computer and the queen room was no longer available. It was very poorly handled and as a cancer patient I was very upset with how the whole booking was handled. My husband and I had to book another accomodation and pay once again.

Not only the property being isolated from the shops/market/restarunats etc, there is not even a soucer pan provided in the kitchen. Least there could be basic utensils !! Overall a very forgetable experince. Be cautious and do your research.

If an Airbnb and a hostel had a love child, it would be this guest house. Self check in via a lockbox outside, didn't see anyone who worked there during our entire stay and a communal kitchen, bathroom and living space. All in all a decent place to stay for a few days.
