There was no hot water when we got up. There was cleaning supplies left in the room which was odd because it did not look to be clean. Stains sticky stuff on surfaces. Ashes everywhere. And previous tenant left things in the room. I had told staff but they didn't seem to have a solution. For a casino hotel they no amenities. No coffee maker. No guide book. Just dull service. The room was Clean and mostly comfortable. I enjoyed the scenery as there is a lake out back. The decor is dated , but clean. The restaurant was decent, however , i cannot recommend the buffet. Get the Cod sandwich or the Chicken . My Waitress was named Star. She was amazing.

1/2 mile walk to the restaurant and casino. Last minute $4.00 addition to our dining bill for salad which is stated on the menu that it comes as 1 of the 2 side choices. This is dishonest to say the least. No in room coffee. There are better choices in the area for next time.

I leave a one star for the following reasons. First time staying and probably never both staying again. The room was clean, to a point. My issues are the stupid buffet that they want to shove down your throat as the only option to eat at as a hotel guest. We went down for dinner Saturday night, we were told we couldn’t order the prime rib from the menu because it was being served on the buffet. I can’t eat that much food so why would I buy 50.00 for food I’m not going to eat. So we ordered a hamburger. Blah. Then we went to the jacuzzi/pool. A group of individuals were in the jacuzzi, cool. But the problem was they staff member was speaking to these individuals because they felt the need to bring their dog into the pool area which was clearly stated that was not supposed to be in there. The people did not leave the area with the dog for over a hour later. Not cool. The next morning we went for breakfast again the only option was the buffet again, enough with the buffet already. So we loaded up and went to a really lovely family restaurant next exit. Stop with the stupid buffet.

It was a wonderful place to have my daughter’s birthday party. She had fun at the pool and us adults had fun at the casino. We just had an all-around good time. It was comfortable and commutated the large group that I had very well.

I reserved a non smoking room, but unfortunately the whole place smells of smoke. So you cannot get away from that. The beds are very uncomfortable. The bathrooms were clean and nice. Night stand did have someone else’s hair on it, which grosses me out. The coffee shop by the casino was not open early (6am) which was too bad.

This hotel needs a complete overhaul. Even the non-smoking rooms/hallways smell like smoke. The hallway ceiling tiles are yellow, the walls need repairing. Hotel staff was courteous and efficient.

My room was certainly sprayed with air freshener and was ok after I put wet towels under the door. Chose this location thinking it would be safer with the activity of the casino. Big mistake.
