It’s tucked deep in the mountains, with the nearest convenience store about a 12-minute drive away, so having a car is highly recommended. That said, the resort itself offers a wide range of amenities -including breakfast, onsen, and massage services - covering most of your needs during the stay. The highlight of this experience was being able to enjoy snowy scenery even in the third week of March.

There’s very poor communication from the hotel. The hotel didn’t specify that there are specific timings for the shuttle. After I booked my train tickets and tried to arrange the shuttle pickup, then the hotel told me I had to be at the station at certain time. I had to change my train booking. When I booked the hotel, I booked with breakfast for 2 adults and a 6 year old child. Somehow, the breakfast that the hotel received was for a 3 year old child. The restaurant insisted I had to pay extra for the child because the age was wrong. I decided then that I’ll not have breakfast and only 2 pax will have breakfast. I then asked to sit together while they have breakfast and the restaurant would not even allow me to sit there even though I do not take anything. The mess up and the inflexibility totally spoiled any impression of the hotel.
I booked a premium suite with twin beds. Although the room was spacious, the twin beds were just 3 feet which was very surprising for a 4 star hotel.
The hotel is located out of the way without any play area so we have to travel to other ski areas even to have fun in the snow. If you want to stay in this hotel, I recommend having a car to access the places to enjoy.
I do need to mention some of the reception staff were quite polite and helpful and the shuttle drivers were especially helpful and nice.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel as I’m sure there are better hotels. I would not choose this hotel on my future visits to Hokkaido

The room is very spacious and this was perfect for 6nights stay in Niseko. Parking is also very large too.
The breakfast and onsen was nice and overall it was a great stay.
I wish the room was cleaned (changing sheets etc) for once or twice at least during the stay. The cleaners will only take the trash out and exchange the towels everyday..

If there was a more convenient shuttle bus arrangement to the main slopes in Niseko (Grand Hirafu welcome center) then this would be an easy 5 stars all around. Staff and facilities were excellent but dragged down by how difficult it was to get to and from the hotel and the slopes.
Mornings were okay as could get a shuttle to Annupuri and then ski across but getting home was an ordeal. We ended up spending $250 across the week on taxis as we couldn’t hack spending 1 hour+ on public transport for a 15 minute drive.
If you have a car then this is a great spot, but skiing in the main part of Niesko with public transport only, would not recommence

Shuttle from Kutchan with advanced reservation

If you’re looking for a cheaper place to stay for snowboarding Niseko, they have a great shuttle in the morning to get to the resort and it’s free.

Breakfast every morning (you pay for this during booking) was great lots of options and beautiful views.

Café had sweet staff and decent snacks, our Room was large with heating (great for the winter!) and beds were comfortable

Cons: Smelled really bad! Found Asian beetles in our room so wasn’t sure if that was the cause but the entire 4th floor reeked like rotten eggs or old cauliflower and it was potent. I had a hard time sleeping because I couldn’t stand the smell.

Unless you have a car, you’re pretty stuck with eating at the resort. The have taxi service available at that location but it was around 16-20,000 yen round trip to get to and from Niseko village at night for dinner.
Other than the cafe I mentioned earlier, they have a restaurant that serves dinner and breakfast, and a small snack station by the concierge desk. It has some meager options for ramen/ frozen meals you can prep in your room, and larger variety for beverages like tea, water, and beer.

You can get your boards and skis shipped to the hotel but once they receive the gear it is stowed in an unlocked ski equipment room, you can just walk in and grab your stuff and pray that no one grabbed the wrong bag
Over all it got the job done for us but wasn’t quite the best spot to spend a honeymoon 3 nights.

The staff was excellent; the room was comfortable. We dinned in the Steak House and Enjoyed the Sky Lounge in the evenings. The hotel needs to have an area to relax in during the day. There is no restaurant, bar or lounging area available during the afternoon or early evenings after the breakfast buffet closes at this location.

The staff and location are great, the onsen is also very nice. The guest rooms, like many in the older Niseko area are getting a little tired, especially for the price.
The breakfast was fantastic, it changed significantly every day.
I’ve stayed at Kanronomori (beside this), and Niseko Grand down the hill, this one might be my favourite.
There’s also goats! They are the lawnmower crew in the summer, but hunker down in a shack in winter, coming out for hay on nice days. If you’re staying there, go say high and give some nose scratches!

It smelt really bad throughout the hotel. It said coffee would be available in the lobby but the cafe didn’t open until 10:30 and the mountain opens at 8am so that didn’t make sense. The sign at the cafe said order drinks at the front desk and they offered to give me a coffee pod to take back up to my room on the 5th floor as I’m heading out. The shuttles have to be reserved a day in advance which leaves limited flexibility and they don’t even go anywhere useful. So fix the smell, offer coffee in the lobby or put to go cups in the room, and make the shuttle non reservation as well as breakfast and the hot pot dinner. We got in at 7pm and it was “too late” to reserve breakfast or the shuttle or dinner for the next day. It would’ve been nice if they reached out to us to let us know and give us the opportunity to book these ahead of time. The rooms were spacious which was nice but it did get warm and we couldn’t open the balcony door due to beetles..and the thermostat was just low and high

The thing that stands out, the most is that we were on the sixth floor of the west building. There was so much snow that the emergency door fire exit to the staircase who was barricaded in with snow and frozen shut. The room was clean, but also not clean. A lot of these reviews are either one star or five star. I’m going to explain the best of my The bedding was clean and the towels were clean and the washroom was clean and everything overall was fresh. But the building itself, including the hallways and the walls is very old and there is a lot of staining on the walls. There was also a lot of old stain stains on the box frame of the bed. The couches were all stained as well inside the room. The carpet in the hallways were very stained and dirty. The place older and very outdated. But it was as clean as it could be given the permanent stains in the halls on the wall walls on the furniture, etc.. The bedsheets were clean and the towels were clean. But if you are sensitive to looking at stains I’m being in a relatively sterile environment that perhaps this place is not for you. If you are all right with general stains and an older environment, but clean bedding and clean personal items and this could be a good place for you!

Rental car is best! You have freedom.

The staff were very nice and friendly and had no issues with interactions at all!

The staff was excellent and answering all our questions we had. The lobby was very clean upon entering. The rooms were a decent size but feels a little bit outdated compared to other places we've stayed at. There was a smell issue while we were there. We weren't made aware by the front desk but they did have a piece of paper in the room stating there was a stink bug issue, which we had to translate or we wouldn't have known.
Overall our stay was nice for what we needed but the room being a little outdated and the smell was the only issue we had.

Service was quite poor for Japan and 4* status. We were on our honeymoon and messaged the hotel about that as well as the transfer from Niseko station but never got a response from them. Similarly when we tried calling about ski rental they never picked up the phone.

Location is not great either with few restaurant options around. Shuttle service to ski slopes very infrequent and inconvenient e.g. travelling to Hirafu park took 1.5 hours and 2 buses.

Add on that the building is dated, sauna is available to only one gender at any time and ski storage room had strange smell. Overall not a 4* experience at all.

Very pleasant stay. The hotel has everything, including own onsen that we used every day after skiing. Amazing staff. Very friendly. Shuttle bus to and from skiing is limited hours but very efficient. Hard to get to shops or restaurants if you don’t have a car, but there were a few restaurants offering pick up so it worked well. The hotel, as well has a very nice restaurant. Hotel helped with ski rental too which was amazing.

Overall, One Niseko Resort Towers is a nice resort with a lot of potential. Our room was a good size and comfortable, and the ski gear storage was convenient. We did enjoy our stay overall.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to skiing and because the website mentioned shuttle services to different mountains. In reality, the shuttle only ran to Annupuri. During our stay, the lifts connecting the mountain tops were closed (out of the hotel’s control), which meant we had to rely on public transport to ski other areas. It was a little disappointing that alternative shuttle options weren’t offered, as the website suggested broader service. Had we known this, we may have chosen to stay elsewhere.

There were also a few small service details to note. Housekeeping replaced towels and removed trash, but the room wasn’t fully tidied, beds weren’t made, and the samue weren’t changed. One onsen was out of service for a day, and dining at the restaurant required reservations two days in advance.

None of these were major issues on their own, but the main downside for us was having to use public transport between mountains. That said, we still had a nice time and feel the hotel has a lot of potential.

I would rate the hotel as sufficient. They put us right next to elevator so it would wake us up throughout the night and morning clunking up and down. We really wanted to get massages but the massage service was closed. The website says room service is available but that was not correct. The shuttle bus schedule is also a bit confusing.
Oh they had to enter our room multiple times trying to locate a leak in a service shaft/closet which was inconvenient. Breakfast is great.
The onsen is nice....but the smell radiates through the entire hotel. A first for me with a hotel that has an onsen.
For the price I'm not sure I'd return because of the issues.

The service was faultless - the staff were really lovely helpful. The breakfast was very special - abundant with Japanese and Western options - and with exceptional views from the 10th floor. The onsen was also a fabulous bonus and perfect for unwinding after a big day on the slopes. The hotel itself is looking a little tired and and could do with a refresh. And the location, close to Moizwa ski lifts, is not the best if you are after the best terrain - Annupuri or Grand Hirafu are much better. But the shuttle service to those nearby resorts was great. the pther option is to rent a car so you're not constrained by the shuttle service timnetable. Overall a great experience and good value.

Cleanliness is a significant concern at this hotel. The back of toilet bowl had visible fecal stains, and both the chair and sofa looked worn and were heavily stained. Additionally, the cabinet contained toiletries left behind by a previous guest.

Overall, it gave the impression that the room had not been cleaned thoroughly, which is quite disappointing for a hotel in Japan.

Booked two twin rooms. The rooms are huge and included a separate tatami room that opened up into the main bedroom so it made the entire area feel really spacious. Only one pillow per bed was provided so comfort levels are a bit lower. The bathing area, sink, and toilet are all separated. The sink in the toilet room does not have soap though and towel linens provided are quite sparse. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and crockery. We stayed here in the summer and loved how quiet the whole area is. The hotel does feel old and as it was not the busy season, quite a few of the hotel amenities were closed. The onsen was open though. I’d definitely return to this hotel because of how spacious the room is. Even though things are a bit dated, it was well priced.

The property is nice - good sized rooms with a kitchen. Great onsen looking at the mountain. Great breakfast, and good dinner (although we were the only two people in the whole place!).
Very far from resorts and restaurants. limited shuttle service from hotel, and had several instances of no taxis being available. Not a knock on the hotel, but know you are secluded. I will stay in Grand Hirafu next time.

We stayed at One Niseko for 7 nights in Jan 2024. We absolutely loved the onsen and used it every night after skiing! The hotel staff are wonderfully helpful. The self contained apartment has a kitchen and a washing machine, perfect for a longer stay, and has much more room than a comparably priced hotel room!

Caution re staying here. There is nothing around, there is very limited transport options . Nearly all amenities in the one resort tower were closed or at capacity(bar is closed , cafe is closed). Onsens were crowded. Restaurant fully booked the entire time we were there. This is not a great option .

Quick check-in and check-out processes; suite was stocked with the essentials, including robes for the onsen, but not a ton more. Ski rentals were well-coordinated and conveniently dropped off downstairs. Main drawback was the smell of sulfur from the hot springs, which was apparent in the lobby and hallways.

Only drawback is that the on-site restaurant was closed for walk-in guests - the next nearest one was a ten minutes walk away - and no convenience store nearby either, so careful planning was needed to catch one of the four daily buses that run to and from the main Niseko Village area.

Great apartment. However, not allowing guests to use lobby after a certain time is NOT a hotel. Also the bus in the morning to ski areas left too late, and came back too early, meaning we could not have a full days skiing. That may be convenient to you, but not to us guests.

The management here is basically ZERO. They do not help you do anything. You move all your own luggage. The restaurants are not functioning at all. Basically they are closed. Location is poor ~ as only close to Moiwa ski field and hard to get to other ski fields. The rooms air conditioning is \"tardy\" ..you need to balance opening windows..even its minus 10 celius. Elevator is crowded and slow. Onsen is small and dirty. in short DO NOT Stay here!

On a good note:
- Most but not all of the staff were friendly. The young manager Mr Yamane, he was super friendly and worked very hard. I’m giving an extra star just for him. Ms Kikuchi was just so so friendly. She’s very proud that she can speak English. The old manager he just stares at the customers without saying anything.

On a bad note:
- Prepare to be hungry. The restaurant is now closed. This place is in the middle of nowhere so there are no real food options. The shuttle doesn’t run very frequently. Breakfast is no longer included.

- The room is very weathered looking. The cleaning crew does a good job by Australian standards but just so so for Japan. Many stains on the furniture as others have noted. I had to clean out the inside of the fridge myself when I arrived. You get one coffee pod even if you stay two weeks.

- They scold you if you don’t wear a mask in the lobby, but then the small public bath is packed with people not one wearing a mask.

- The outside bath is slippery with ice and no hand rail.

- They charge extra for two people but only give one room key.

- The beds are small and hard.

They had a shuttle that left before the mountain closed and then not another one for 3 hours. None of this was communicated to us before the stay.

We rented a 2 room suite that was ok for our needs. Reception people where friendly and helpful. But when we asked for later check out we only got 1 hour from 11-12, quite dissapointing when we wanted to ski in the morning. They should at least give check out to 13 or 14.
The Restaurant was a big disappointment, they need to do a lot to get that decent so don't book a dinner there. Hotel is quite far from other restaurants so Hotel need some more frequent shuttle buses. A big plus if you like off pist the Moawi resort has ski in but not ski out from the Hotel.

This is my fourth visit to one niseko. In the past it's been excellent but since covid there have been staff shortages and it has really gone downhill. The bar is no longer open, the rooms only get serviced once a week and there is a shortage of shuttles between the hotel and the ski areas. We have tried to book taxis to and from the ski areas on a number of occasions, the taxi companies are notorious for not answering their phones. We are then forced to go to Moiwa as it is the only ski area within walking distance. Also, a face mask is required to be worn at all times when moving around the hotel but these are not provided.

We stayed in 2 bedroom . The fridge was very smelly . The kitchenette area is not clean . Sofa was badly stained. Room pillow is very very thin and flat. Mattress very uncomfortable . Breakfast , food were cold .

It is a ideal place for the kids family stay, with the full cookwares and in-room washing machine, you can stay as long as you like. Next to Miowa Ski Resort even you can work over.

Stayed two nights to ski. The hotel is somewhat secluded, so you’ll need a rental car to explore the area. Given the ongoing pandemic, the hotel didn’t seem to have a lot of guests, and as a result, there were limited options to eat and drink (it seemed the restaurant and bar were closed when I was there, and you can’t walk anywhere nearby). But the hotel offers a wonderful breakfast (set menu, not buffet). Beautiful lobby. Spacious room. Friendly staff. Incredible onsen. The ski slopes at Annupuri are about five minutes away by car; Niseko Village, Hirafu, and Hanazono are about 15-25 minutes away. It took me about 2.5 hours to drive to the hotel (via Lake Shikotsu) from New Chitose Airport.

Nice and large rooms in an isolated hotel

The One Niseko Restort Towers is an isolated hotel with 2 11 and 10-stories towers located 5 minutes by car from the Annupuri Ski Resort. This facility has an unusual number of suites, with 50-80 m2, making it a favourite among families and groups of friends.
A car is highly recommended is you stay at the resort. The parking is free, but you will need to move your car from 11 am to allow removal of the snow. There is a ski bus to reach Annupuri Ski Resort as an alternative. The restaurant on-site was rather unimpressive - unavailable the first night, offering only 2 menus after that, very average room service, and many items were quickly not available at breakfast.
The rooms on the other hand were nice and highly practical, although showing a little bit their age. Feeling of privacy with only 3 rooms per floor and elevator was appreciated. A convenient ski room is available, too.

Hokkaido is wild and beautiful! One Niseko Tower was a great base from which to explore the major ski resorts in the area. The hotel is within 20 minutes of all the Niseko ski and snowboard locations and is especially convenient to Moira and Annapurna.

The ski in location was excellent, although it was not as easy to access ski areas other than Moiwa. The breakfast buffet was great and plenty of choice. The room was a good size, although could do with a good clean! Overall a great stay.

Best 2 bedroom apartment in Niseko

This was our 2nd time staying at the resort, the apartment is spacious and comfortable. Only disadvantage in staying here is the Airport Shuttle only drop off passengers at the Hotel Kanro-no-mori which is about 10 minutes walk away from One Niseko. This is a difficult journey during snowy weather. After appeal, the hotel management kindly arrange for their van to pick us up from Hotel Kanro-no-mori. Thank you very much!

This property is closed to Annupuri Resort and Village. It has a nice in-house onsen. Room is huge and clean with full sized kitchen. It has schedule shuttle to the ski slope but I do prefer to rent a car if you decide to stay there. Coz there is nothing near by walking distance.

It was a good location to Moiwa Ski Resort which is why we like it. The room was big, especially for Japan standards, which was nice to have. Buffet breakfast was great, had a lot of options. The shuttle service was really good, very busy so remember to book.

It wasnt as clean as i would have expected. Japan usually has very high standards, but in my opinion the room wasnt to that standard. There was someones hair in the bathroom, the bathroom doors didnt look like they'd been cleaned for a year. Carpet didnt look very clean.

Also, Niseko Village had a water shortage at the time we were there (Dec 2019), so they hotel had cut water off for 3 hours during the middle of the day and over the less busy time at night. I know it wasnt the hotel's fault but i dont think they handled the situation well at all.

1 There were 12 food coupons I had in front of the TV. I went back to skiing and disappeared.
2 When I checked out my daughter forgot my glasses in my father's room, I called. The theater said no one found
3 When I check out My husband forgot to put a snowboard bag in the locker in the room. At the hotel Wear ironing equipment Snowboard bag It's very big And I am very confident that I forgot to take it out We called and no one met. This item is impossible to find because we are very confident that it was kept in the back cabinet since the first day we stayed. And it is a very large piece There is one pair of snowboard pants in the snowboard bag which is quite expensive.

Other than the fact that the hotel is located a bit of distance away from hirafu (where there are group english ski/snowboard lessons), this hotel is perfect! Quiet, beautiful, superb onsen, huge and clean rooms.
