The service was great specially Viktoria in the reception was very kind and diligent. The room had great space for 3 people, apartment like, great bed pillows and space distribution. Well located. Very recommended.

The hotel staff is very kind and professional. The room was incredibly spacious for the four of us. The breakfast was very good as well. The hotel is right off the highway, so you can get to the center of Madrid and to the airport within 30 to 35 minutes depending if traffic. It is an easy ride to both areas. There are places to go shopping and dining close to the hotel. I would recommend it.

Unfortunately there is no/little bar service, the same staff have to work the restaurant and then serve drinks at the bar. No olives/nuts with drinks in the evening.

Couple, solo? one night only and bring your lunch

Terrible location. Poor service. Restaurant closes Friday Saturday and Sunday. Never heard of that. Same menu every day. It says soupe of the day, but it should be SOUPE OF THE WEEK, the staff doesn’t make you sign in so they overcharge you for restaurant and bar service. This hotel maybe Ok for overnight group guests

This is a nice hotell and the reception staff is very friendly and helpful. However my door lock did not work and I had to be accompanied to my room every time I needed to get inn.
The breakfast was well above average, but the food served for dinner was dismal (and the waitress was impatient and callous). Location wise it not ideal wrt restaurants and shops. Train station is nearby.

Floor around toilet filthy with urine drops not touched by cleaner. No food available on the evening and told no breakfast available. However when we got up to leave some people were enjoying breakfast. Poor show and will not return.

The rooms have a door in between connecting the adjacent rooms. You could hear the occupants clearly.
Bathroom in worst state having no shower curtain or chamber. Just an open shower which spalshes the water in whole bathroom. The toilet is placed right next to bathroom heater. So if you are not careful then you are bound to get burnt as its only an inch away. Toiletries are worthless. Laundry is as costly as other hotels but delivered next day. Location is absolute disaster as there is nothing around. My room had a trouble when the lock didnt open I had to sleep in a different room while all my stuff was in other room.

All hotel staff were friendly, helpful, courteous and professional. I found the bed and sofa in my room to be firmer than I prefer, but were acceptable. The breakfast buffet was wonderful! Dinners in the hotel's restaurant were quiet, and the food was good. A modestly priced health club for daily exercise was very close by in lieu of a facility within the hotel.

Wait in the bar to be served over 20 minutes so leave without spending any money! Breakfast staff so busy they didn’t get chance to fill up the serving dishes so you wait and wait then go without!

Never Again!!

From the moment I arrived I wanted my $ back an they denied it, I cancelled other reservations I has in 3 different cities where my family and I were going on our road trip in Spain, for the reason that a group of our family members were staying here and so we could be together. Worst mistake ever!! The AC and mini fridge weren't working it was smelly & hot !! As we were preparing for a night out No iron to be found for our clothes. So my husband went to the front desk with all the complaints and they said that we need it to wait for the following day that at moment there's was nothing they could do and that they ran out of irons! After a while a guy showed up at our rooms saying he found 1!! The mattress and pillows were cheap and horrible!! The breakfast buffet was horrible all I would eat was sandwiches & the coffee machine was joke nothing worked!! I tried making a Cappuccino and everything started splatting everywhere the cup got drips of coffee all around and the cup would have gotten fuller by an espresso coffee because barely anything came out!! We would sit at the bigger tables since we were a big family group and out of 8 cups all or 7 would be dirty as well as the coffee cups!! It was literally like those family vacation movies where everything is just plain wrong about the Hotel!! I could keep on & on,.. Frustrating doesn't explain enough my experience at this hotel and worst knowing that for what we paid we could have stayed at a much higher scale hotel 0 blanket

Booked hotel for our visit to Madrid. Although the area hasn't got much to offer there is a train station within a short walk which transported us into Madrid centre. a short drive away is a designer outlet shopping village, across form it is a residential area that had a lot of bars and restaurants, eating at a Mexican restaurant food was excellent. We also ate at a small bar not far from the hotel which sold pizzas - the bar didn't look up-to much but the service and food was excellent. The hotel was good, room clean and comfortable, staff friendly & helpful.

The hotel was eay to fjnd.
Check in was quick and easy. Juan was polite and welcoming.
The room was big clean and bright. The beds were great.
The continental beakfast was good.
If I was to stay here again I would ask for a room at the back of the hotel as the lorry emptying the bins on the road outside our window at 2am didn't help my sleep!
The surrounding area isn't great. As the hotel bar/ restaurant was closed when we arrived in afternoon, we had to walk a distance to use a foot bridge to get across the motorway to Las Matas 'village'.. there were very few places open there too.

Off the freeway and not close to the city. Uncomfortable beds and no blankets or a comforter just a sheet. Cheap for a reason. A strange pipe coming out of the walk. Noises all night from above & outside. We left after one day. Do not stay here.

The hotel is close to the A6, One of the blind was not working, the room had two beds and one studio, but the beds were not comfortable. We only used one room. It has not coffee or tea maker, no iron too. You need you car to go anywhere. one night is ok.

Suite type hotel near hwy and rail station.

Beautiful marbled spacious hotel 30 minutes from downtown Madrid by train or auto. Very spacious suites with sitting room and marble flooring. Breakfast good and reasonable. Dinner less desirable and expensive. We had bad experience with someone in next moving furniture on marble floors in the middle of the night.

I strongly recommend this Hotel. Great value.

I stay at the Gran Hotel Almenar every two months to visit my daughter who lives in Madrid. The hotel is very well located next to a main highway (A6), includes the parking spot in the pricing, and the rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is simply excellent. I have always been treated quite well by Manager Jesus and his staff. They even know my little girl's name and are always very accommodating. My only \"complaint\" is that the wi-fi internet connection often doesn't work. But considering the whole package, this is a great hotel and surely a great value. I strongly recommend it. A+

Very helpful staff at reception who were able to speak English and give advice on places to visit and eat. We had a room at the front of the hotel that looked onto the main street. When the windows were open it could be very noisy but when the windows were shut it was fine. Ideal location for visiting Granada.

Great Hotel for families visiting by car

The hotel is on the side road of a main highway which it makes it very convenient if you are in passing to Madrid. it is impeccably clean. The staff was very friendly, courteous and accommodating. They spoke Enghlish which sometimes is hard to find. We arrived late from Sevilla with two children, we were on the other side of Highway and the GPS was not directing us well. We called the hotel and the receptionist was able to figure out where we are and directed us perfectly right to their interior garaje ( free). great treat after we payed from 18 to 35 euro daily for parking in other cities and inside Madrid. The rooms are large for European standard. We upgraded to a suite and a room. They had champain for us in the room which was a great touch after a perfect two weeks trip for Semana Santa in Andaluzia . We eat dinner at their restaurant and it was excellent. One of the best meals we had in Spain!!!!! We would stay here again especially if we come with the kids. We would leave the car and take the train in , 5 min walk to the train 1.8 euro to Madrid from 7 to 11pm I believe. The money spend on parking in Madrid we could spend on souvenirs. The hotel is about 15/20 min by car very easily to the dead center Ptza Mayor underground parking. (2h ab 7 euros)

Great hotel just outside of Madrid

Hotel was clean, modern and the staff very helpful. Only complaint is that the beds were too firm for a comfortable night's sleep. Great location within walking distance to Renfre train, shopping and restaurants. Free parking and wifi a BIG bonus.

Great little find!

really good value for money, tucked away in a quiet side street near the motorway but not bother by it, easy access to lots of companies in the business park, five minutes from the Carrefour supermarket. Taxi drivers from the airport may not know it, so print out directions in spanish before you go!

Room had a separate lounge area and balcony. Very spacious and comfortable. Next to a major feed road for Madrid but the room was located to the rear of the hotel overlooking a green area and there was minimal noise, even with the balcony doors open. Excellent rail connections within 10 minutes walk. The rail system is easy to use, cheap and efficient. The only downside was the catering. The main restaurant area was only ever available to the coach parties that seemed to provide the bulk of the hotel's business. We had to eat in the bar area and often received slow service - the coaches came first.

good location if you are going to play at the Casino

I needed a hotel while I was playing at a poker tournament at the Casino nearby.

Good things about the hotel:
1. 5 minute taxi ride to the casino
2. very inexpensive

Bad things about the hotel
1. They missed one of my wake up calls
2. They tried to put me in a single room, although I had paid for a suite
3. there is no way to get food after 10 pm
4. no shops, gym or pool in the hotel

Almost perfect

This hotel would be almost perfect, specially for the price paid with great amenities. Mostly catering to conventions. Although great location off the highway, it has extremely poor street signs (very small and covered by a fence), very easy too miss as many streets don't have labels and making u-turns is not trivial around the highway. It also has no area for load/unload luggage.

El desayuno fue excelente y lo más que nos gustó por su gran variedad. Ahora si, es mejor pagarlo directo en el hotel que a través de la página online ya que sale más económico. El cuarto muy cómodo. Las personas muy amables. Solo una pintura en los alrededores de afuera y ya! El tren queda a 10 minutos a pie o sea que el Uber se utiliza bastante.

La recepcionista nos llamó a la habitación nada más entrar para darnos la bienvenida al hotel!! Una pasada!! Nunca nos hemos sentido tan bien recibidos en un hotel antes, un 10 por vuestro servicio!! Incluso llegamos a necesitar un cable HDMI para conectar la tablet y ver pelis en la TV y nos lo facilitaron sin problemas, reservar en este hotel es de las mejores opciones que puedes hacer en tu viaje!!!

La habitación era para tres personas y sólo teníamos toallas para dos. En el bar de la habitación no había agua y lo q había era solo para dos personas. Por otro lado el motor del aire acondicionado de la habitación de arriba hacia mucho ruido y no permitía un buen descanso. Tampoco lo permitía el no poder bajar todas las persianas por estar algunas rotas y entrar a la mañana mucha luz. No estaba sucio pero el baño podía haber estado bastante mejor, sobre todo la zona de la ducha.Es la segunda vez q estoy en este hotel, hace un mes cuando me alojé fue agradable la estancia. Esta vez he pagado por algo que no nos han ofrecido
