The room was comfortable, quiet, clean and the front desk staff super helpful. They had a breakfast buffet but we never used it. Close to the train station to Madrid but not much else around. Only bad thing was the internet was very spotty and you could only run 2 devices - if you asked they gave you a code so you could hook up more.

I stayed two nights at Hotel Plaza Las Matas, which is advertised as a four-star hotel. However, there is absolutely no way this property would meet four-star standards on any international scale.

The Negatives:
•The first room I was given had air conditioning that was running, but not cooling, in the middle of the summer heat. I had to request a room change around 1:00 a.m. due to the unbearable temperature.
•The second room had functional air conditioning, which was a relief, but beyond that, the hotel is extremely basic.
•The furnishings are minimalist and very dated, the rooms are tiled throughout, the beds are single, and the mattresses are mediocre at best.
•This is a low-cost, budget-oriented hotel that would be classified as two stars anywhere else in the world. There is nothing luxurious or refined about the experience, which makes the four-star classification extremely misleading.

The Positives:
•The hotel is very conveniently located right next to Las Matas train station, which connects directly to Madrid city center and to other train lines for long-distance travel and Madrid-Barajas Terminal 4 airport.
•It is also located just off the A6 highway (Carretera de la Coruña), the main artery connecting Madrid with the northwest of Spain. This makes it very practical for travelers heading to or from Madrid, or crossing the country via the A6.

Conclusion:
If you are looking for a basic place to sleep near the train station great!

The property was great, parking was great and the staff was great. We should have stayed somewhere closer to downtown Madrid because this was too far for us to go back and forth to places. But as far as the hotel and the area, it was great.

I thought it was going to be close to the airport but it wasn’t. It cost me a lot of money for a taxi. I got there very early on a Sunday and it is located in a small town, a nice place but nothing opened which I guess is normal for a Sunday. The staff was great they did manage to get a room ready for me very fast.

It is a hotel that is far from being 4 stars. Super dark, very old everything, no good service, horrible parking, the rooms are more or less decent but there is nowhere to plug in the cell phone or computer as comfortable... I understand that they have to improve a lot to call it 4 stars, it doesn't even reach two stars.
From the first day I wanted to leave the hotel because I did not feel comfortable at all ...
I must give credit to the breakfast which was at least decent.

The room is nice and clean,
The property overall is nice, but it is next to the train station. There is no noise, but the view is not pleasant.
Area around the hotel is nice, and it has nice cozy restaurants around, and a carfour (grocery store) next to it.
Parking is extra for 5 euro a day, and every time when enter you have to ring the button and give the room number.
Shower was having an issue in my room. At full pressure, flooded the bathroom and the hole way.
Overall I recommend the property for the price.

I've stayed at this hotel several times before, and have thus come back repeatedly - as a happy customer.

This time, to my surprise in the retail space underneath the hotel - and literally underneath my room 119 - there is now a nightclub. As I rocked to sleep, I made a mental note to identify the quiet rooms the next morning. When you book, make sure you request a room in the range 122 - 157. They are in a different wing, and that should be a lot quieter.

to begging with, I am traveling with my 13yo and 11yo kids as specified on my booking, but on the room it was only provided with a king size bed and a double sofa bed, so we been forced to share beds, the hotel it is a bit wear out now maybe it was a 4 stars before but definitely not now, breakfast very poor not enough options and also if you are one of the last coming down you will have the left overs as they don’t refill, so I will say it is no worth it get another options if you can

We enjoyed our stay at Plaza Las Matas. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. We found a lovely pizza restaurant to eat in on our first night. It was very easy getting the train into Madrid centre - very helpful member of staff sorted out our ticket and told us where to get off. All in all a good place to stay for two nights.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and explained any details and helped with any travel questions. Van Goigh is a very good restaurant within a couple minute walk. Supermarket right next door with anything you needed. The breakfast Buffett was pretty good a wide variety of food and a good amount of fresh fruit. Free parking ad I had s car and a easy drive to Madrid

Un autentico desastre

Viajaba con mi hija de 13 años y fue un horror prácticamente todo.
Nos dieron dos camas cuando yo habia pedido cama de matrimonio,las ventanas de madera antiquísima que se escuchaban los coches de la autovía constantemente, por no decir el tren de mercancias que pasaba cada 10 minutos con un ruido insoportable cerca de la ventana.
Las vistas daban a un parking abandonado, no hay servicio de carta de almohadas ni mantas con lo cual la incomodidad era total

Hotel digno de 3 estrellas, no 4

Hotel de 4 estrellas ubicado junto a la estación de Renfe de las matas en las Rozas en una zona muy tranquila pero con algunas deficiencias en mi opinión que no encajan con las 4 estrellas que tiene.

En primer lugar tienes unas pocas de plazas de parking enfrente del hotel que casi siempre están ocupadas, pero si no te importa aparcar a unos minutos tienes siempre sitio seguro y sin OTA.
El desayuno del hotel es estilo buffet pero con muy poca variedad y cosas, para lo que vale ya podrían tener más variedad.
El pasillo de las habitaciones no tiene aire, se nota mucho la entrada principal donde tienes el fresquito y los pasillos hacia las habitaciones donde te cueces del calor.
Las puertas de la habitación que nos tocó las jambas estaban en muy mal estado, y los inodoros casi no corría el agua, es verdad que está bien para el tema de sggoro de agua pero ni tanto ni tan poco...
El tamaño de la habitacion normalito y es verdad que la cama de matrimonio es grande y la TV de 50' y el aire de la habitación va bien, pero os aconsejo pedir 2 tarjetas para que siempre esté funcionando.
La nevera de la habitación enana y no enfría nada...algo esencial con el calorazo que hace en verano en Madrid.
Por los alrededores tenéis algún bar no muchos, un súper carrefour, y la estación de tren.

En general si buscas tranquilidad es tu hotel está claro, pero lo único aconsejaría cogerlo sin desayuno ya que los 11€ por persona no compensa.

El hotel es correcto pero no vale las 4 estrellas que tiene y menos el precio de la noche a más de 200 euros. El papel pintado estaba desprendido por sitios, no hay enchufes cerca de la cama, no pone a disposición ningún amenitie de baño, los vasos en el baño son de plástico barato, a la cisterna del baño le faltaba un botón, el minibar estaba vacío… un sin fin de detalles por los que sinceramente le sobra una estrella de las 4. El desayuno buffet es correcto sin ser de mucha variedad pero la calidad es correcta (excepto la del zumo de máquina). Punto a destacar: la recepcionista que nos atendió majisima y muy servicial.

Am Ort selbst ist es sehr ruhig und somit ist auch die Auswahl um was zu trinken oder essen eher dürftig. Der Bahnhof ist gleich nebenan und Madrid ist sehr gut damit zu erreichen.
