A little bit of a disappointing stay. I arrived very late due to a delayed flight, but although there was no queue at hotel reception, it was very slow to check in, and i was very tired.
In addition to the above, the hotel and room is not 5 star standard, it was very dated and not very upmarket in its style and decor.
In my room there was tea and coffee and a kettle, but no milk. When i asked the room service for milk to make my morning coffee, they tried to charge me €5.00! It would have been cheaper to just buy a cup of coffee! Its very poor standard not to provide the small sachets of milk for the room in a 5 star hotel! It is even worse to try to charge a guest €5.00 for milk for 1 coffee!
Very shocking and below 5 star standard.
Lastly, i booked 2 night stay, with breakfast for 1 morning. But my itinerary changed, and i was not able to have breakfast on the first morning, so i asked reception if i could take breakfast the following morning instead, but they refused! Once again, not a good experience and not 5 star service.
On a positive note, the bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom are very spacious.

This is rated as a 5 star hotel…it is not. The hotel is located far from the city so you have to take public transport to get anywhere
There is a supermarket very close by which is convenient cause there is really nothing around
Overall rated it a 4 star cause the room had issues with the power blowing while using a tea kettle
The doors had to be slammed to close

Fantastic property and very friendly staff. About a 5 minute walk to the metro and 30 second walk to the bus stop which was so convenient. The only negative is that there are no convenient restaurants near the hotel, but there is a good grocery store about 2 min away.

Clean, modern, quiet, safe and the hotel staff members were exceedingly friendly and helpful. Neighborhood surrounding the hotel is quiet and safe. 15 to 20 minutes by taxi to most any tourist attraction including Prado and Plaza de Toros.

This was a great location for having our convention, it is however a bit out of the city historical center. Accès to le central city is easy using Madrid Metro. Very spacious rooms considering européen standards.

A real sample of hospitality!

The Hotel was beautiful, with a modern deco and huge and beautiful lobby. Spectacular view of \"Sierra de Guadarrama\"
Since we went for 15 days to Spain this end of the year it was important for us to stay in a comfortable room, we made the right choice! The rooms were very spacious, clean and well maintained. 5 stars to the beds!
Is far from the city center, but you can take a bus just in front of the hotel (every 7 minutes) that will take you to Madrid Center (Bus No.133) If you decide to rent a car they have a big and very safe parking garage.
Dinner options are the only thing I would change, since the menu is very repetitive and just a few things are offered, however we tried everything and it was delicious.
Breakfast was delicious and had a great variety of options.
Thank you very much to Mercedes, the sweetest person that we have ever met in a hotel, always working, multi tasking and running, but also smiling. What a hard worker you have there Eurostar! Also thanks to Martha, our room service was ready even before we called!
We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again!

Great experience and hospitality for our short stay. They have very friendly staff and Ruben at the reception gave us a very warm welcome/farewell. Definitely we will stay here again. The bus 133 is just outside the hotel that will take you to the Gran Via area. Otherwise the Metro Herrera Oria is just 10 mins walk. There’s also a supermarket within 2 mins walk but if you fancy something more a big shopping mall is just 20 mins walk. Personally I much prefer this type of hotel than a busy one located right in the centre.

Service was not as expected at a 5* hotel. Had to pay a 60€ early check in fee which was not advertised on the site. Advertised spa which they did not have. Rooms were old and outdated. Requested a double size bed and they tried to trick us with two twin beds pushed together. Was very surprised with how they treated their guests with the amount it costed.

I usually don't write reviews. Just wanted to put in some thoughts for the management to take note and also for future occupants to consider.

Good things - the place itself is reasonably clean and it is close to bus stops, taxi stands and super markets/pharmacies. There's not many restaurants or food options around the area, but you can find some good places in a 20 min walk radius.

Things to consider - House keeping needs to improve, all they do is tuck in the bed sheets. The descriptions of the place said daily housekeeping and it is a five star establishment, but they don't seem to do that. They also don't serve complementary water bottles, when we called they told us just that. Its fair if it is the policy, atleast state that in your room descriptions please.

Air con doesn't work and after we told the staff downstairs, they sent someone who asked us to leave the windows open. He tried opening one of the windows which didn't work and he opened another one and left. Only when we reported this again the next morning we were offered another room. I would expect this was their job to ascertain and give us options when the issue is reported first time. And in all my travels, this is the first time I am seeing the hotel staff asking us to leave windows open when an aircon problem is reported.

Will not go back again.

Things to do:
* Santiago (Real Madrid) stadium, go to a restaurant near by (you’ll have an amazing experience if a game is being played), lots of shopping & eateries near here, you can get city tour bus here (Uber from my hotel 7€)
* Double decker “Madrid City Tour” jump on & off all day until 10pm
* See a Flamenco 💃 show (from hotel “to do” site you get good seats & a drink is included) appx 13.50€ Uber from hotel
* Tons of American restaurants near (TGI Fridays, McDonalds, BK, Tony Roma’s) appx 5€ Uber
* The “Center” ( C/ Gran Vía, 14, 28013 Madrid, Spain-for Uber purposes) is like Time Square in NYC - always something to do & until late 2am on a random Wednesday - Uber from hotel was $12 (20 minutes)

Not 5* at all, very poor condition.

This is not a 5* hotel. The condition of the rooms and corridors are tired and shabby. We finally arrived in our room at the third attempt. The first room, doors were hanging off units. The main door looked liked it had been kicked in. The second room wasn’t much better and the a/c didn’t work. The third room was just as tired but this was it. The pool was closed as was the spa, not mention when originally booked even it says that now. The only saving grace was the breakfast. It was excellent.

Overall a very good and pleasant stay

Good location with shopping mall and metro stop within a short walk.

Very large room with nice big bathroom. The only complaint is the mattress, it was a bit too hard for me. Nice and clean.

Parking in the underground was included in the price as was the very tasty breakfast.

If I returned to Madrid by car i would most likely stay here again.

Overall good value for money.

We loved the location to the airport. The rooms were large and very comfortable. We stayed twice on are arrival and departure. The staff on our exit visit were not nice we were traveling with friends and they refused to find us room together or near each other.

never leave reviews but I had to as this was a very unpleasant stay and not expected from a 5* hotel. the indoor pool should not be advertised as you are not allowed to use it. In fact we were asked very rudely to leave. The outdoor pool was closed when stated open until end September.
we ordered a bottle of champagne to the room and then another at the lobby, the one from the lobby is 25% more ,when I asked the manager told me it was my fault for not checking first
no help what so ever with our bags on arrival or departure
the managers attitude and arrogance has obviously set a good example to the rest of the staff as during our whole stay we did not see any member of staff smile

Amazing staff who made us feel comfortable despite us being completely unfamiliar with Spain. Very nice, large, clean room, more amenities than anticipated and beautiful outdoor lounge areas. The location is perfect, a quiet residential area, within walking distance to a grocery store, restaurants, bars and more importantly, the metro subway station to quickly head to the city center. I would go back to this hotel with no question.

We had a great stay. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was huge. It had a nice kitchenette but no srockery etc which made it a bit useless. The bed was great and the proximity to small local shops and cafes meant we could live quite cheaply. The metro is just around the corner making central Madrid accesible. The foyer is vast and impressive.

The hotel is nice and clean. Our room was spacious. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Our room however had smell of cigarette every time you entered. We ordered in room breakfast. The menu mentioned omelette with salad but there was no salad served.

The hotel is in a residential location and hence you need a car to get around / to the city. There is a supermarket at a walking distance and couple of restaurants around however.

Overall a good experience.

The hotel needs a refresh now across all the rooms and suites. The decor, room furnishings and fittings haven’t changed since it transferred from a Sheraton more than five years ago. Which is a shame as the location and facilities, pool gym are great assets for the hotel

The room itself was spacious and nice. The internet was blazing fast! My only complaints were the AC in the room was faulty. Sometimes it would work and other times we had to call the maintenance guy. It’s sad the main lobby was 10 degrees cooler than a room I paid for. The only other complaint I have is that there wasn’t an ATM any where in the hotel. Making it hard to get cash and the closet ATM was down the street in a shady area. Other than that it wasn’t a bad hotel.

Th hotel is very nice. the team are very welcoming and helpfully. the room was big and comfort.
there is no conditioner in the shower which i expect 5 star hotel to have. otherwise good place to stay and good price. they let us do early check in (at AM) with no extra charge (usually 66 euro)
