The staff are very helpful and friendly, if we had a problem they always sorted them out very quickly. The cleaners always cleaned our room very well and they can be trusted, never had any worries with leaving things out. Excellent

I came to this hotel two years ago, and I was satisfied with my stay.
But this time my stay turned not so good.
The room starts to be shabby, but I didn't complain.
But the worst was cockroaches every day in the bathroom and also some in the room, and the last night one was on my bed beside my pillow just before switching off the lamp. It was time for me to move away.
I wonder, maybe I got a few other on my bed when I slept ?
Difficult to accept that situation, especially with the high price and a 4 stars hotel !

First of all the place it’s so dated, the mattress are horrible too hard. The restroom it was very stinky and they don’t provide toilet paper, the food at the restaurant not good ether. I guess very bad experience!!

Nothing worked in the room. Had to get the toilet fixed then it wouldn’t stop making noise. Hotel hasn’t been renovated since the 80s and it has a smell. Staff do there best but I can imagine a lot of complaints.

I didn't use the optional breakfast. The hotel could use a refresh. The rooms were old and dated, but very functional.
The hotel staff always greeted me coming and going. The hotel is located in a GREAT location.
The rooms had a musty smell, but overall good. The housekeeping was hit and miss. Sometimes cleaned early, other days 5pm or later.
The pool area only had 3 lounges, and a couple of seats. There were no towels in the pool area.
Overall great location, but really dated rooms. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful

The hotel’s right in the middle of the nightlife, but the room itself was quiet and comfy. The rooftop pool and sauna were a great way to unwind after a decent buffet breakfast with Thai, Indian and American dishes. For the price you really can’t go wrong, and I’d happily stay here again.

The location is absolutely amazing. Empshere mall is right across the front door. bts phrom phong is about 5 minute's away. There were some minor issues, no hot water, safe not working, phone charger not working and thr staff was very friendly and helped out immediately.

Nothing, our room smelled like oil paint, the shower had mold, outside room look like an alleyway, the wrong crowd hung out in the lobby. Our room was supposed to be a 4 star lol maybe it was 1 star at best. Looks like a rent room by the hour. We were booked for 2 weeks, but because the smell made my wife sick we notified Travelocity and hotel and move to a real 4.5 star hotel. beware!

My stay at the Arawana Regency Park was very, very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and quiet and it was very convenient to many good shopping and eating destinations.

Though the hotel is older and could use remodeling, it is well maintained and an excellent value for the price.

When I left, I forgot my valuables in the safe. Before I could contact them, Ken, the manager, contacted and told me he had and would hold them for me to pick up. Ken helped me avert a disaster and I cannot thank him and the staff enough.

If you stay at this hotel, you can be confident that the staff is trustworthy and extremely helpful and friendly. I would stay there again.

the hotel is very conveniently located next to the Gourmet Market of Emphere! this a plus as it is also easily connected to the BTS which is Phrom Phong. the concern i have with the room is that it smells.. the air somehow is not clean. the toilet bowl needs to be flushed in a manner where loads of water are wasted just to do a flash. no good.. i was lucky to have a quiet room. the house keeping was good. perhaps they should ventilate the room proper.

If you need a couple nights to explore Bangkok, this hotel is great due to its location. Staff members are excellent.
Cleanliness is an issue. There is too much mildew in the bathrooms and the laundry area is also not remotely clean.
Breakfast is ok but get there early to avoid cultural crash is recommended. If you are culturally resilient, you should be fine. I found it fascinating.
There is no parking for this hotel. It is difficult to just park in front of the hotel to get load luggage. If you have a car, parking at the Marriott down the road is available for a fee.

Very busy hotel in a great location. Staff members are excellent. The hotel needs to be kept clean. Too much of mildew in the bathroom and the laundry room looks like my clothes could get dirty coming out of the room. If you only need a few night to explore Bangkok, this hotel is a great choice due to its location.

What a let down

We have used this hotel 4 times in the past without any great problems , and am very disappointed with how it has declined.We arrived early but was told the room was being prepared for 2pm (ok no problem) at 2 it was still not ready and after the longest check in period ever finally got to our room, omg awful, 2 gratis water bottles missing ,shower nearly impossible to use due to corrosion of the workings,opened the safe to find it in bits inside ,wires everywhere,tv not working it goes on... after a wait of over an hour a so called technician came and fiddled about with the tv for ages not having a clue.after another half hour we where offered another room which was ok but very uncared for.Obviously the original room hadn't been checked over,very poor service ,was told breakfasts where not available any more as there wasn't the guests to justify it( i can understand that).What a shame ,this hotel changed hands and has been left to its own devices.i wouldn't advise anyone to stay here.

As the COVID-19 issue got worse, the hotel decided they needed to save money. At night, they turned off all the lights outside for the rooms. It was pitch black trying to find your way from the room to the elevator if you were leaving before the sun came up, or returning after the sun set. I complained to the front desk, but they said management needs to save money and the lights must be turned off. I guess customer safety does not matter to save A little money. Also, they shut down one of two elevators to save money.

I stayed in this hotel a few months ago and saw that they were trying to restore the place but very minimal for the poor condition it was in. Staff at that time was helpful and pleasant. Which made it slightly better.
This time around, the new staff (Thai) were horrible. Only one Indian staff was really professional about handling things. The Thai front desk staff should be sacked with the way they behave totally unbefitting a hotelier.
EXAMPLE
I told them about the crooked tv mount they said to tilt your head to watch. Would u stay here?

Reception area looks five and good service from the staff there, when we got to the room it was dated and needing repainted. The TV didn’t work, the air conditioning was noisy and hard to control and got too cold at night. The bathroom was extremely dated with some sort of liner covering the tiles to waterproof the area, the toilet was leaking water and stained the floor and smelt too. The shower was difficult to use and wouldn’t give hot, just warm water. nd the shower curtain and ceiling had mildew.

Guest are mostly from India and Pakistan, full of dodgy taxis right outside the hotel.

Awful. Booked for 3 nights, but didn't stay one! Booked additional bed through Hotels.com - refused to give us one. Tiny room. Dirty. STANK of urine. In the middle of red light district - leering men everywhere (and I'm an overweight 46 year old!).
Only saving grace was sympathetic duty manager.
Terribly overpriced and don't belive the photos!

This property should be condemned.. Rooms are not like the pictures do not be fooled.. We booked and paid for 3 nights but left after one night.. Place was dirty.. Hair all over in the bathroom.. Dirty pillows.. Shower handle fell off in tub and plunger to select tub or shower.. . Said 40 inch tv.. It is not... Said city view.. Looked at a wall from building next door... Said mini bar there was none..the king bed.. They took two singles and put together.. Talked to other guest they had problems with phones not working.. AC not working.. Nobody got anything fixed.. Avoid this hotel!!!

Stayed here many times before and it has always been a great place to stay, but this time wasn’t. Shower never worked properly and was so hard to get it to work it was better to just have a bath.Also if you did get it to work water went everywhere and soaked the bathroom mat. The toilet didn’t work probably had to flush it 3-4 times for it to work. The safe locked us out and had to wait 15 minutes each time for it to let us try again. Each problem we called for the maintenance man to come, but even then he had to come back again and again. And he actually told my wife who’s Thai can you stop calling. Lucky we only had a 2 night stay otherwise I would of moved hotels. Never again would we stay here. Very disappointed 😩😩😩

to arrive at a so called 4 star hotel ..and the front is a supermarket ,...on entering water was cascading through the lobby ceiling .. there is no possibility that this is a four star hotel ...its dated ,,its disgustingly dirty , its depressing ,, it does not have any feel good feeling ...its not inviting .. it has to be one of the worst hotels i have ever had the misfortune to stay at ,,, it needs either updating ...but an improvement would be a huge make up ...or to have it demolished

I waited in the lobby for 20-30 minutes before someone came down to check me in to my room. A security guard kept calling on his walkie talkie with no response. It was 4am so maybe that had something to do with it.

My room smelled like an antique store. I had a wonderful view of a wall 3 feet outside my window, where I could see people walk by occasionally. The hotel doesn't provide complimentary toothbrush, toothpaste, or shampoo, like even the worst motels provide without question. I had one half-used roll of toilet paper with no spares in the room. No room slippers provided, no tea or coffee or anything like that. Absolute bare bones.

The Thai staff are wonderful, but the owner(s) are absolute cheapskates. This is not a 4-star hotel. I'm angry because it feels like false advertising. Maybe this place is a 4 star hotel by 1982 standards, but I've stayed in plenty of hotels to know that this place is the dumpiest 4 star hotel I've seen. It needs to be fixed up, renovated, and put under new management for it to gain that title in my opinion.

If you are looking for a 2 star hotel at a 3 star hotel price, advertised as a 4 star hotel, look no further than the Aspira Grand Regency Sukhumvit 22.

This hotel isnt that clean and had a leak in our first bathroom. It smelled moist n felt moist. It was a very small hotel which I didn’t mind but customer service wasn’t the greatest it was ok. The room size was good but for a 4 star hotel not good. I like the pool upstairs it was nice and nice view. Wish this hotel had resturant for the days i didnt wanna wander. Its a ok hotel it seemed old and not the greatest.

The beds are like sleeping on concrete. After the second night the aircon broke down so at midnight they changed our room to one right out front of the breakfast area so morning were very noisy, went to have a shower surprise no towels or bath mats after ringing three times for towels I had to go down to the front desk to get some action. Breakfast very limited, the egg station - if you like cold eggs this is your place they where cooked in advance so when you did ask for fresh and hot you got a dirty look. The man running the breakfast area was great

Poorly run hotel.

Towel delivery person entered the room twice without knocking. The security chain that would have prevented entry was installed improperly and could not be used. Towels were not left in the room when it was cleaned. Poor organization and training. Management does not ensure towels are available at the pool - pool was not used much, could not guess if towels would be available there.

There may be some nice rooms. Room 404 has a wall two metres outside the window with an industrial fan which ran all night. No view at all.
The shower water refused to go down the shower drain, instead it meandered out the door to find it's own way behind the toilet bowl.
When I entered the room there were no towels. I accosted a housekeeper in the hallway to remedy this.
The hallway had half it's lights off, presumably as an economic measure.
The bedside table clock, despite having no buttons marked \"alarm\" decided to start beeping at 3:30 AM.
I am used to hard beds in Thailand. This one was harder than most.

Swimming pool is a joke

We choose the hotel by the look of the swimming pool. Turns out it is just tiny mini pool already looks overcrowded with ten 8 kids in it.
Hotel staff is professional, nothing to complain here.
The look of the bathroom cleanliness is not satisfying.
Hotel is in a vibrant area, but the entry can be hard to find, the taxi driver past it three times until finding it.

Poor housekeeping on 28 Sep 18. Face tower and bath towel were not given after the housekeeping. There is no floor mat in the toilet and I fell because of wet floor. The shower gel and shampoo were not replenished after housekeeping. I asked the reception for all these items at 11 pm and the items didn’t arrived after 10mins. I went down personally to the night reception to get these items. I’m met with a non courteous staff who asked me to complain to morning staff. Moreover, I’m surprised there is no toothbrush being provided. A very unpleasant stay.

Location OK.

Worse Hotel I had Experience that I had often book to your site. a) no toilet facility { example shower cap ,tooth brush ,soap ) b) toilet bowel and seat deep dirty stain . c) flushing system discharge very slow and need to flush many time .c) no divider or kerb between shower compartment and the W,C, area , water just flowing from shower area to the W.C. floor waste trap that is behind . c) no room facility ( example coffee .tea ) d) no T.V. reception that I had inform them . e) the room lighting not working .f) floor is always wet in front of the toilet area. Had requests to have bath tub for my body therapy but inform that I need to pay 700 thai baht per day more .

Low budget hotel no perks.

you get what you pay for. first time i stay in a hotel that did not give coffee and tea in the room.
breakfest is given on a low budget. staff are nice but all Thais are nice.
