Never visited the bar, or the restaurant, but our stay was outstanding. Beautiful pool, and kiddy pool, grounds were well kept, but there would be alot available to a family. Grocery store near by, and mall 1/4 mile south. I would absolutely stay here again.

The room was quiet, the heat pump worked well, the water was hot, the pools were great. Very clean. We had trouble figuring out the cooktop and coffee machine, but the staff patiently taught us. Grocery store down the hill, and huge one at the mall nearby. Walking to Tavira wasn’t very nice, so we drove.

Nice peaceful stay just outside of the old town

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a ground floor apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It had all the equipment we needed and a nice large private patio with table and chairs and views of the pool. The apartment was clean but was slightly dated and could do with a bit of maintenance however this didn't impact on our enjoyment of the place. The apartment complex was in a peaceful location a short taxi ride from the old town. There was also a decent bar and supermarket onsite. We also used the pool and the surnbeds. Would highly recommend and would stay again

We were visiting Tavira for one night. We didn't use the facilities which looked nice. The reason for my poor rating is that the bed and pillows were terrible. We used the cushions from the sofa in our room and in the entrance to place in top of the bed so we could sleep. The bathroom was updated but there was only one outlet in the main room with only one lamp (there were 2 wall lights). In order to plug in a CPAP machine we had to unplug the only lamp. The room was clean.

The good: The staff was very friendly, the area is beautiful, and there is free and convenient parking. Additionally, it is close to the supermarket.

The bad: The beds were extremely uncomfortable. It felt like we were sleeping on box springs. There was an issue with the toilet running and filling up with water. While maintenance did come by, they didn't seem to actually fix the problem. Lastly, we noticed urine stains on the couch in the living room. Given the odor, it was likely from an animal.

It’s unfortunate I have to leave a mixed review because the property has so much potential.

Great property that was well cared for and close to everything. Staff was wonderful. This was just a studio so nothing for long long term but had all the amenities you would need in the kitchen. The bed was really hard but we asked Staff for a mattress pad and they had one on the next morning. We were so grateful. Enjoyed our stay here and would come back.

So noisy, loud music, loudspeaker talking until we'll passed midnight, when the screaming, shouting and noise started. Beds were hard as a rock and you could feel the springs in some areas. No soap. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

This location is incredibly overpriced for what it is. Our apartment didn’t have simple things like hand soap in the restroom. We lacked some very basic amenities. The pool was nice, but very small and overrun with children. The reception staff were lovely, but the cleaning staff were rude and impatient. I wouldn’t consider staying here again.

Very nice resort

Well laid out resort with 4 swimming pools, restaurant and cocktail bar. A mini market at the beginning of the resort, well stocked with all your holidays needs.The appartment was very comfortable, very clean and sheets and towels changed on a regular basis. The resort is about a 20 minute flat walk into Tavira town, but not a very pleasant walk as there is a pavement only part of the way and some rough ground. There are local buses but don't run very regularly. We used taxis most of the time which reception very obligingly booked for us. The cost of the taxi was just over 5euros.

Hotel Apartments close to Tavira

This hotel apartment complex is set in attractive grounds, some apartments don't have air conditioning, but would recommend the premium apartments with air-conditioning as we used it even in November, which still had hot days. You can walk into Tavira from here and also to the large shopping centre. There is however, a really good supermarket at the entrance to the complex and they have a bakery, butchers and all you need daily. There is also a cafe/bar in the complex and a separate restaurant. Taxi into town is 5 euros. Have stayed here three times now and really like its location and facilities. The apartments have a kitchen with hob and microwave but no oven, although the microwave was also a grill. There are laundry facilities in the complex. Would throughly recommend for proximity to Tavira and surrounding area.

Have stayed here 3 times. Really nice comfortable apartments, in a attractive complex with trees and shrubs within 5 mins of Tavira, can be walked to, close to all amenities. They have a nice cafe/bar with entertainment on site, also a small supermarket on the corner which has bakery, butchers and delicatessen inside, good prices. Also has a restaurant on site but have not eaten there. There are two swimming pools and a tennis court. Apartments are spacious, clean with a balcony table and chairs.
Really enjoy it here, staff friendly and helpful,

Great Hotel on outskirts of Tavira

we loveTavira and this place is ideal as a base to enjoy the area. The accommodation is clean, well equipped and the pool area is excellent. we stayed in block 10 and the staff were all very helpful. Two iissues only, one minor the other potentially more problematic. It would be useful to have some instructions in the apartment on how to use equipment in the apartment. more concerning was that when we arrived around 10.30pm there was no one around, the reception was closed and there had been no instructions on what to do if arriving late. eventually after asking in a local restaurant we found a security guard who had our keys!
However it didn't spoil a great week its about 20 minute walk into town which we were happy to do ad got a taxi back if we were out late.
I'm sure we'll be back !

complex good , a bit of a walk to the town though

The apartment was a good size for three of us. It was clean and had the basics. Unfortunately the bed and the two sofa beds were not very comfortable so I doubt I would have managed to stay for a fortnight
We came just at the end of the season which was great as it was easy to enjoy the pool areas, though again no padded toppers for the sun beds. However this may not be the case in the main season.
I reckon it is about one and half mile walk into Tavira centre which we were happy to do but it was partly near the road no real footpaths part of the walk was better but not suitable if you have mobility problems
Tavira town has a good selection of restaurants also worth taking the ferry to the beach. It has a train station so you can easily visit nearby resorts

We had a nice stay and would definitely return! The apartment was spacious, clean, equipped with the basics needed to self-cater and the facilities were well maintained. The nearby restaurant was lovely, and we found the area safe and quiet for families. There is also 24 hour security in case of emergency.

The only (minor) downsides: The resort office was tough to spot when we arrived at night, and we didn't know that the office would be closing shortly after we arrived - could have been a problem if our flight had been delayed or any other travel hiccups had occurred. Be sure to confirm your arrival time with the office. It is also quite a distance from the main sightseeing areas of Tavira, likely a bit too far for most to comfortably walk. We drove in closer and we're able to park outside of the town's central areas for free

A good value apartment

We rented a fully functional one-bedroom apartment, complete with a balcony and lovely view. The grounds of the complex in which it was located were very well landscaped, and well kept. There is a grocery store just outside the complex, as well as a mall about a ten minute walk away.

The listing is probably most suitable for people with cars. However, the municipal bus stops right outside the complex, and can take you into Tavira for one euro. Downtown is also accessible via a 20-30 minute walk.

Nice aparthotel near city in quiet area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Quinta Morgado. It was close enough to town, yet far enough away to have peace and quiet. A car would be recommended as the walk to town may be a little far for some. The apartment was very clean inside and spacious and bright with a lovely view. The pool was excellent and there were lots of lounges. Beds were comfortable. My only complaint would be that the kitchen did not have a good supply of useful utensils such as a sieve, flipper for when you're frying eggs, cookspoon, and they could have supplied some items for clean up such as a wash cloth for washing the dishes and a scrubbie for the pots and pans since they're stainless steel, as well as some dish soap. Toiletries such as bar soap was very scimpy, only two small bars for the week. Other than that it was a wonderful place to vacation and I would go again. Note: we had to buy the supplies that were missing or cooking would have been useless. The outside hallways were not cleaned, and stairs and floors were covered with spill stains, could have used a wash.

We stayed here for 9 nights. We were in Lot 1 on the top floor. The apartments were spotless and cleaned everyday which is probably a little too much as we didn't spend much time in the apartment. The only fault I have about the apartments are the beds as they were extremely uncomfortable. Our apartment lacked a toaster which would have been ideal. The pool area is lovely and the gardens are all well maintained. We eat in the Restaurant which was lovely and great value. We also had toasted sandwiches from the bar which were great value. Service in the Bar is very good. The Town is a 20 minute walk, we rented a car and in hindsight we probably didn't need one as we were willing & happy to walk. I would recommend Reillys Bar in Tavira for some drinks, its a great bar with a bit of atmosphere. Also the Plaza across the road has a big food court that has a great selection of food choices. Its on the way to the town as well so a Nice stop off for a quick bite to eat! We will definately be back but for a shorter time!

WE ARRIVED EARLIER THAN ALLOTTED CHECK IN TIME BUT THAT WAS NOT A PROBLEM FOR THE GUY BEHIND RECEPTION WHO PUT OUR BAGS IN A SECURE ROOM. THE SWIMMING POOL WAS USED EVERY DAY BY THE CHILDREN WHO REALLY ENJOYED THEIR STAY THERE. THE RESTAURANT WAS EXCEPTIONAL ESPECIALLY THE NIGHT PORTUGAL WON THE EUROPEAN CUP THE NOISE WAS EXCEPTIONAL. This was our last day in Portugal...needed something close to Airport to return the rental car...we were surprised at all the amenities...ie swimming pool, kitchen...which I wish we could have cooked but we were beat from 12 days of touring...staff were excellent...helped us out big time...we were advised to go for supper at a quaint seafood place outside of Tivira...which was amazing....there is a huge shopping center close bye...which had a shop where fish feed on your skin...like psoriasis ect...didn't try it...but found it amusing...wiush we booked 2 nights

We're backpacking and arrived at train station. No taxis. Found our hotel is actually a small suite in very large condo complex. Handy market just outside the entrance. Walked to the old town one day, but the streets near the resort are not very pedestrian friendly. Need a car if you are going to stay here.

We had a three night stay in a studio booked and the staff at reception graciously upgraded us to a one bedroom unit with a balcony. The staff are very helpful, the grounds are very well kept. We stayed in October and were able to use the pool. It is an easy drive into town and walking is also possible. We would definitely recommend this apartment hotel complex.

Did exactly what it says on the tin. Staff very helpful, Maria the Manager was extremely pleasant. A 15-20 mins stroll in to the historical town of Tavira with lovely shops, restaurants, churches and shaby chic houses. This was a chill out break and did not disappoint. The supermarket at the end of the road was well stocked and good value for money. There is also a bar, restaurant and tennis court. If you want noisy larger louts and sleepless nights then this is not for you. If you want a lovely relaxing stay and watch the world go by then definitely give it a go. Will definitely be back sooner rather than later. BRILLIANT.

We had a 1 bedroom apt . Apt was clean , lotsa room everything you need , except
They never replaced the soap in 5 days , a little strange .
No air conditioning which was fine , however they should at the very least have a
Fan available , the ceiling appears to have a place for it . The walk into town is okay,
As mentionned not very nice , and dark at night . Pool area really nice and quiet.
Avoid rooms in section 1 , near bar , as noisy til late at night , past 2:00 a.m.

Great base if you don't mind driving everywhere

Very good quality accommodation. Attractive buildings in beautifully landscaped gardens. Lovely pool areas. Very nice bar and restaurant on site and a larger than expected supermarket. Our apartment was spacious, light, well equipped and cleaned everyday. Lovely staff, especially on reception. We thought we wouldn't need air con in September but it was humid. Reception provided room fan free of charge (also for sale in on site shop, 15 euros).
The location was a disappointment to us. Just a bit too far out of town. It took us a good half hour to walk down into town and not a very pretty walk. We walked down but got taxi back in the evenings.
Only 5 euro.
Shopping plaza with cinemas and fast food only a few minutes walk but still have to cross the N125. A very busy road so quite scary.
Proximity to N125 makes it a good choice if you are happy to drive everywhere.

Beautiful setting out of town

Our apartment lot 7 room2 was ground floor with gorgeous garden patio, the environment was gorgeous. The apartment was kept spotlessly clean with daily cleaning. The beds were comfortable and we sleep soundly every night, an important holiday factor.we used the pool area which was alison vela and tidy. The on site bar was ok but we preferred the atmosphere back on our patio. The minimart was really useful. We didn't use the restaurant as the choice in town was vast. Overall the site was perfect but we didn't envy the walk into town too much. Not because of the length but the busy toad you needed to cross and the unlit bridge, one we hot used to it was ok but not ideal. We could have got a taxi but found the walk kept the extra indulgent pounds at bay! If we could have moved this the other side of the busy road it would have been ideal.

Excelente lugar para se hospedar, Sr. Bruno da recepção sempre disponível e super atencioso, local ideal para descansar e muito bem localizado, fiquei no lote 7 apto 206, cama pequena 1.40cm e colchão de molas super desconfortável, utensílios de cozinha há muito limitado ‘levem detergente de loiça e bucha, máquina de lavar loiça sem pastilhas, não tem produtos de higiene tipo gel de banho, shampoo, creme para os cabelos.
De resto tudo perfeito

Novamente uma experiencia ótima

Foi a segunda vez que nos hospedamos nesta propriedade e novamente correu tudo da melhor maneira; em todos os aspectos foi conforme o esperado; conforto sem luxo, ótimo ambiente, é como estar no seu apartamento com uma cozinha suficiente para as necessidades básicas de uma viagem, sala e quartos espaçosos e banheiros ótimos. Aparatamento OK, a cama merece uma atencao maior.

O apartamento e espacoso e com a manutencao em dia. A cama e os travesseiros deixam bem a desejar com relacao a conforto. E preciso de carro, pois todas as atracoes sao distantes, como qualquer outro hotel do Algarve.

Heerlijk plekje en makkelijk te belopen naar het centrum. Appartement is prima, we hadden een appartement met balkon dus in de ochtend lekker buiten ontbijten. Fijn zwembad dichtbij. Supermarkt dichtbij die alles heeft wat je nodig hebt. Bar in de buurt met lekker eten. Kortom we hebben een super week gehad.

Estancia de calidad pero necesita mejoras

La estancia ha sido en general buena. Sin embargo dado el precio pagado deberían mejorar al menos:
A. No había ni jabón de manos ni champú en los baños
B. La cocina no tenía paños de cocina o papel toalla
C. Los sofás cama pueden servir para menores, pero para adultos como indican que sirven, NO, ya que los colchones son muy finos y de baja calidad, no facilitando el descanso y siendo un problema para la espalda

Acima da minha expectativa.

Surpreendeu pelo tamanho do apartamento, praticidade e qualidade da morada. Localização estratégica, mas tem que estar de carro. Supermercado ao lado. Ficamos muito satisfeitos e as crianças adoraram. Voltarei várias vezes.
Por ser 3* não esperava luxo e não tem mesmo, mas tem muita qualidade, boa organização, limpeza, bem cuidado e conservado.

Boa opção em Tavira para familias

Bom condo com infra de lazer satisfatória, muito bem localizado para explorar as praias e vilas da região. Ficamos num T2 rés de chão muito prático. Apenas o conforto de camas e enchoval fica um pouco a desejar, de resto é um bom custo-beneficio.
