I liked the space of the 2br apartment but that’s it for the price I paid I expected the place to be clean at least and it wasn’t clean the linen, the dishes, and the cupboards and couches everything had a layer of dust and animal hair disgusting I cleaned everything before we used it and then all the surcharges if you wanted parking or extra towels or late check in/out is ridiculous considering the price of the room I expected more I’ve had more for less at other places ,wont go back there again or recommend it to anyone they allow pets for a surcharge too great for pet owners but the cat and dog hair everywhere was horrible , on top of the construction going on next door the noise was loud, on our second day the water was brown we checked out early thankfully I would look at other properties before committing to this one cause they don’t refund you for anything it’s there policy.

Booked through Wotif. on arrival the Invoiced price was $300 more than the price on the site because of additonal fees for parking etc. Villa was in poor condition for the price, stove did not work, there was rubbish and dog poo in the yard. Plastic outdoor furniture which was cracked and broken and dangerous - one of the chairs collapsed resulting in hitting the concrete floor. Kitchen utensils broken and dirty. Dead cockroaches found in the bed room and bath room. We chose Toowong villas because they were pet friendly and convenient to Nissan Arena for sport. Apart from these attributes , there was no other positives. Over priced and poorly maintained.

Understanding and Considerate

Due to a VRBO host cancelling our booking (after we had arrived!) we had to scramble to find last minute accommodation, however there didn't appear to be accommodation left, especially at 5pm the afternoon.
We managed to get a booking with Toowong Villas and they were excellent. They were understanding and ensured we got the right accommodation and were attentive to our predicament.
This is why I gave them a 5 star rating and would definitely recommend them.

The property looks lovely, got to there, charges extra for parking when we didn’t have a car without checking (removed that), the room had only one air conditioner, the fan clicked, rooms unserviced, toiletries not topped up but you could purchase them, only one roll of toilet paper in the unit, no spare and the glass door was unlockable. Not to mention the barking dogs in the below units from what look to be permanent residents. This property looked great but was very disappointing

The units are in a handy location but extremely overpriced and underwhelming. Not very clean and very dated. Charging $15 per night for parking is a money grabbing exercise, some spots aren't undercover and at times you cannot get one close to your unit. No signs on the office to say when they will be available to make a payment so then was charged a surcharge on my card for parking fee. Overall, the beds were comfortable but we would not stay here again and it was very overpriced.

Found out on check in that they charge and extra $15 per night for carparking on top off the money already paid for accommodation. In there hotel information folder it states 1 car per apartment and $10 for extra vehicle per night. (We have a photo of this). We only had 1 vehicle. On our 2nd night we couldn't even get a carpark as it was full and yet they still charged us for a carpark. Greedy...

Older style units, in a quiet area of Toowong. Clean rooms with small balcony, fully stocked kitchenette, the only negative is the firm mattress (but that is just a personal choice). On site parking, friendly staff and close to shops and local rail.

The property was easy to find, a very close drive to the Wesley hospital and a very good breakfast which was reasonably priced. In a quiet spot.

Very quiet room and close enough to everything. We stayed in that night and ordered Indian which arrived fairly quickly and was really yummy. Didn’t like being on a lower floor with no garden in our patio area. Just an enclosed area looking at a brick wall and same on the sides. Not even a plant to soften the caged area however Toowong Villas has a well appointed garden with magnificent plants around the main building.,

Toowong villas suited the needs of our family who had travelled from Sydney to attend a family function. The villas were comfortable and well equipped, air conditioning and heavy drapes helped to keep the temperature comfortable. The under cover parking was greatly appreciated and some family members enjoyed the pool. The shower over the bath would not suit some people, awkward to get in and out of for some. Also, we were on the top level which was lovely for view and airflow, climbing 3 flights of stairs is not for everyone. The lack of attention to detail with some cleaning, meant that I had to wash most of the cutlery and some of the crockery, obviously the previous users only rinsed things not washed them. Other minor factors regarding cleaning were a little disappointing. I did mention this to reception on departure and they were quite apologetic. Toowong is a lovely area and has a good shopping centre within walking distance of the villas.

Unfortunately I got locked out of my room at 9.15pm and had to ring the after hours number to get someone to come and let me in (door is self snibbing) and it cost me $50 for a very grumpy man to come up the stairs and open my door with some nasty comments to boot. Next time I am staying at a property with a proper reception desk. Property is very dated and quite expensive.

If you are looking for a well maintained no frills safe accommodation option in Toowong go here.

Rooms are always clean, staff super friendly - 2 bedroom units have well apportioned baths with overhead showers and laundry facilities single units still have microwave fridge and utility sink. Ive stayed here twice now and it is the perfect place to relax but I’d happily bring my children here as well ( would probably request a ground or first floor 2 bed unit)

Toowong 15mins to most places in Brisbane

Greeted well at front desk everything ready to go.Plenty of undercover free parking.Our 2 bedroom apartment was very tidy with decent kitchen king size bed with aircon and tv in main bedroom seperate lounge and dining room well set out and presented.Toowong is very central close to Southbank and city .With many restaurants and shopping centre walking distance from appartments in Toowong.The two pools are quite good.

Great place to stay for a week with the family, nice location with easy access to public transportation (bus and river cat ferry), nice cafes nearby, Kmart and a solid selection of restaurants and a Coles to top up the groceries as needed. Both pools were nice and clean, and we had a great stay overall. Definitely my go to place next time I'm in Brisbane, alone or with the family.

Arrived to be surprised by unexpected 'admin fees' for using credit cards, only to be told we could not speak with management because they were on a week holiday. This was followed by, 'So, what do you want to do?'. Sorry, but I found this communication style to be anything but customer service focussed. Our room smelled of old carpet smells, and was equipped with antiquated a/c in the bedroom that was extremely loud, making sleep an uncomfortable experience. The furnishings were all 'ok' but certainly in need of an update. On the plus side, free wifi, Foxtel movies, and the outdoor swimming pools make this a family friendly place to stay. It cannot be called 4 star, but as a value for money 3 star accommodation, it is well situated and worth considering.

The staff did not clean or make up our room at all during our stay. The reason, written in a book beside our bed, was not available to me before I booked or arrived. The cleaning staff don’t work on weekends. The shower dripped continuously. I would not stay there again.

Great hotel close to Toowong and CBD

First time staying in Brisbane for several years and what an absolute gem of a place Toowong Villas are.
Secluded from the main road yet walking distance from the Toowong shops, this provided me a great home away from home and made my stay even better.

Toowong itself has wonderful eateries, all the shops you need and is a stones throw from the CBD. I came up to Brisbane to purchase a house and staying here with such wonderful rooms, facilities and staff certainly lowered my stress levels.

The staff were very accommodating when it came to going above and beyond helping us with faxing, emailing and taking messages from agents and my family who were back in Melbourne. Not only would I recommend this place, but we will now be staying here when we move our family up to Brisbane at years end.

The rooms had everything I needed from washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and a very comfortable bed. The Villas are well laid out and the cooling kept this Victorian very comfortable to get a good nights sleep. The Villas have well maintained gardens, a great pool and individual patios to enjoy the beautiful weather whilst taking in a meal.

You won't find anywhere better or more central than Toowong Villas to stay and my daily commute out West to find property was no hassle at all from the Villas location.

Great unit and handy to shops and train.

Great, safe location. Close to shops and train station. Great facilities. Be aware that there are no elevators but lovely, homey feeling units. Wonderful BBQ area with grill and flat for frying. The kids play area is right by the BBQ as well as the lovely pool. Totally recommended for anyone especially for families. The staff are very willing to assist. We ended up going back for a return stay. Most rooms also have a lovely view of the CBD from the balcony.

Dated but homely place

The apartment although dated had all the amenities and was worth the price we paid. The hotel is located in a convenient location close to the Toowong shopping centre which we found handy.
The beds were comfortable and we had a good enough stay. We also had access to their pool and kids play area which was great since we were traveling with 2 kids under 7. The manager of the villa complex was also nice and we felt welcome.
My only qualm was that there was a small infestation of ants around the bathroom area. Though we sprayed insect repellent they kept coming back. There were also a couple of dead insects tangled in some cob webs near the toilet/bathroom area. I am not sure for how long they had been there. Since we were traveling with a toddler we had to be extra mindful of not letting her too close to the areas with the insects. Sadly for this reason we will not be choosing this place again.

Nice place but rooms need some updating

We stayed for three nights in a one bedroom villa. Very clean and tidy and quiet. The staff were great and very accommodating in helping us order taxis etc.

Only complaint is that the fittings and appliances in the room were tired. Eg all the buttons on the washing machine were worn and unreadable. And no aircon in the bedroom wasn't great with a baby in summer (single aircon unit in the lounge area).

Pet friendly hotel

Apart from putting the price up by $25 a day on arrival even though I had spoken on the phone with the hotel after placing the booking.
It was an enjoyable weekend experience in one of only a few pet friendly hotels in the area.
Nice and clean and everything you needed in the room.

This was our second time staying here, and we have enjoyed the experience both times. The staff are very accommodating and we would be happy to recommend this place for anyone looking for value for money accommodation. That being said, on this visit we clearly communicated via phone conversation that we wanted a queen bed NOT the two twin beds pushed together that we had on our previous stay and unfortunately, upon checking into our room, we found that the promise had been broken. The room/furnishings are a bit worn and dated, and there were also some minor issues with broken taps and door locks, but management had them fixed up straight away, so it is really hard to say anything negative about this place.

We had a 3 bedroom villa. Very spacious rooms with plenty of beds and nice size living/dining area. Decor is a bit dated and could be refreshed. Hotel is in a quiet area with easy parking. It is also within walking distance to a shopping center. We didn't have time to try out the pool. The kids playground is suitable for kids under 3 and could improve to cater for 3-5 year old kids.

We found the unit very quiet and spacious. No noise at all from street or other guests. It was in the perfect location for what we where there to do, but we also had close access to the hills, the river, shops, restaurants and golf courses. All in all a great place to stay.

Apart from some problems with our rooms airconditioner and shower, we loved this place. Any issues were quickly attended to. The staff give you plenty of privacy but are easy to contact and eager to help. Location is perfect. Lovely pool and BBQ areas. Family friendly. Our room had city views from our balcony, yet rates were very reasonable. Beds are very hard but that suited us (may not suit everyone). Loved this place!
