The bathroom was nice and remodeled recently. The actual bedroom left something to be desired. The photos online don’t match every single room. It’s boutique I understand but was slightly taken back by the differences. I would say the breakfast is not great. That definitely needs improvement.

The hotel is good but unfortunately my room was not. Do not book or accept an atrium room here. There is a small atrium through which guests could look into each others rooms which are about 12 ft. apart. Owners/ Management have tried to mitigate this with the most ridiculous hotel feature I have ever seen. These are giant light shades suspended in the atrium about 7ft. tall and 3ft. in diameter consisting of hundreds of small plastic fish. Very decorative. But the lights are left on, totally penetrating any adjacent room. I slept badly wearing a mask. What business are they in? Don't they know guests want a good nights sleep.

Beautiful room, well appointed with modern and luxurious fixtures. Honestly kind of incredible quality for the price; cheaper than the discount rate I got at the Ibis for a much bigger and lovelier room. Sure the view is nothing to write home about, but the area is lively and on the balcony you feel connected to the city in a way that a river view behind a giant pane of flat glass doesn’t get you.

The reservation said it slept 3 people. How can you sleep 3 adults in a king bed.

I absolutely loved staying here but am giving it an overall 4 stars for three reasons.

Firstly though the service was exceptional. They had no issue with me dropping my bags off early. I had a small issue with the plug in the bath not sealing properly and they came up and looked at it and it was a simple fix and they gave me a bottle of wine. Now the wine was given to me for a couple of reasons one being the plug two being I’d been up since 2:30am Melbourne time and the third it was my first time is Brisbane. Was a very sweet and kind touch and very valued.

1. They are across the road from a pub that turns into a club at night and that did cause me issues sleeping on Saturday night. Not really the hotels fault though.

2. When I was packing to leave there was a dead cockroach that fell down from under a table. Now this wasn’t a massive deal for me as these things happen from time to time but it does show a little more detail could be taken when cleaning.

3. The food menu is somewhat limited and room service hours are limited. Now this didn’t bother me too much but it could be an issue for others.

I would absolutely stay here again but just not on a Saturday night.

I feel misled about the car parking. When I arrived, the roller door was down, witches hats were blocking the driveway, and there’s a sign saying the car park is full. It looks permanent. With nowhere to pull in, I had to park at the shopping centre and cross the road twice with my bags.

If parking isn’t available, I’d prefer it was stated upfront rather than presented as if there’s a chance. Honesty is always easier for everyone.

Check-in on an event day at Suncorp Stadium was pathetic.
The girls at check-in were fantastic in an otherwise poorly run outfit. Rooms were still being cleaned after the \"guaranteed check-in time of 3pm\".
With the price per night for accommodation being more expensive than a five star hotel, surely The Beetson could afford another cleaner?
Hotel certainly no better than three stars in my eyes.
We won't be staying here ever again at those ridiculous prices.

Just stayed two nights at the Beetson hotel. It is a very convenient location 2 minute walk from Suncorp stadium. I booked it because of the location and I didn’t realise it was rated 4.5 stars which I was pleasantly surprised and thought oh yay it’s gonna be really nice almost 5 stars! The receptionist was lovely and informed us we had been upgraded to a suite. Wonderful! That was so lovely. So we get up to the room. I go in the bathroom and there’s a medium size cockroach on the sink which I squashed with the towel. I have never stayed anywhere all over the world that had cockroaches!!! I was horrified. Then I go to get on the bed and the duvet cover had big black splotches on it, looked like ink. I said to my partner what the hell a 4.5 star hotel can’t afford to replace a duvet cover when ink gets spilt on it! But it got worse as then I found red brown stains on other parts of the duvet!! Looked like blood!!! HOW DISGUSTING!!!! I felt sick to my stomach!!! Thankfully the sheets were stain free (that I could see). The cleanliness of the room was a bit lacking, draws and cupboards not wiped. In the morning realised there was only one mug for coffee. So a couple had to share a mug! No spoons or stirrers, no cutlery at all. But I found 3 wine glasses and one glass cup. The shower took at least 5 minutes to get hot, I was pissed off at that. Anyway I have zero idea of how they got a 4.5 star rating. I won’t be staying here again. Cost 1400 for two nights!

Room very dated and dusty. No milk in fridge. We were very disappointed because we booked through your site we were penalised by a 3pm check in and 10am checkout. If booking direct to motel it is 2pm and 11am. I had contacted the motel to ask for an early checkin as my function started at 2pm but they didn't get back to me. When i asked at the desk they said 1 extra hour would cost $50!! It was already an extra $35 just to park the car!! We stayed at this motel when it was owned by Gambaros and it was impeccable. It has definitely gone a long way south since the NRL purchased it.

Horrible customer service. In checking we struggled to find the place and the parking, and the intercom did not work at the parking bay. When we mentioned this at reception they were rude and told us it is out problem. On the next morning, we were woken up with hammering and construction noises, while both neighbouring rooms were being refurbished. The hallway was full equipment and dirty. Terrible experience.

Went to watch the NRL Grand final was very disappointed when they lost reception on Foxtel. 10 minutes after the kick off still no game we had to go back to our room to watch the game.
The restaurant was offering a great GF day start at 3pm free nacho and lucky door prize. There was nothing. Very disappointed

Very dissatisfied. We paid for a deluxe room better than average. We book two rooms.
Rooms should have been ready at 2 pm.
We arrived at 2 pm only one room was ready!!
We had to wait u til 3pm for 2nd room.

No face fannels in 1 room and only 1 wine glass not 2 ! Shower head just dripple water
Unless u put the full head shower on which ladies don’t like as we have just had our hair done.
No hand towels in 2nd room!
Rooms were clean great position. Just disappointing when u pay for an upgrade room for the room not to be serviced correctly! I think because the room was late and things weren’t working g we should have been offered a free breakfast or complimentary drink or something for the I incompetent staff not getting it right!! I like that it has a good carpark and is organised simply. Meal options close by give a lot of choice.

Dissappointed that the tv kept going offline while watching movies etc. every annoying and when staff were advised they didnt seem to realise this is annoying especially when away from home.

Stayed here for a night to see the rugby at Suncorp. Great location for this, right in Caxton St. Atrium room was very comfortable, totally quiet (a bonus given the amount of noise in the street outside!). We arrived early to secure a parking spot, as you cannot pre-book their limited spaces; and pay on arrival. But that worked and so everything was super convenient and easy. Would definitely stay here again for Suncorp events.

Perfect location for me a short walk from the train station. Great food and bars nearby. Room was just enough and reasonably recently renovated. I liked all the things they did to make their/my impact of the environment less. One thing I didn't enjoy was overly powerful fake scent that was strong in the reception area, get some essential oils, it smells like a toilet aerosol right when you first arrive.

The available phone number rang through to an unattended phone. Prior to arrival I reveived an email from the hotel telling me I could check in any time! Not quite true.

Bathroom flooded with every shower. Staff ignored & did not care until we demanded they mop and provided additional towels to mop up. Very dangerous slip hazard!
Offered a free breakfast, which we accepted & it took 2 hrs to serve 10 people & toast was even toasted. We were told only 6 coffee mugs so only one coffee in mug & one in cup.
Holes in wall & headboard of room.
Very und whelming for the price.
Won't be back.

We stayed during Cyclone Alfred so unfortunately there were no services (which is understandable). We could not get up to the rooftop bar because that was also closed due to the cyclone, also understandable. We did not get any room cleaning service on a 2nd morning and understand that was because the staff has been stood down for the weekend, also understandable. We totally understand that due to the cyclone and keeping staff safe. However, considering that no services were provided for the 2 nights I found it quite annoying that the $35 per day for the car parking was still charged when other hotels in the city were providing it for free due to a lack of services from a low staffing situation. It reflects a lack of customer care ethic. The sheets had marks on them from a previous guest so I think that cleaning could be better. The check in was efficient without being particularly friendly. The hotel is really well positioned for Caxton St dining options and just a short walk into the CBD (10 minutes). The positives were that the room was comfortable, even if things are looking a little worn. The double glazing on the windows mean you will get a great nights sleep and the bed is comfortable.

It is hard to understand how this hotel could be marketed as luxury. There is lots of wear and tear that is concealed by low lighting. The bed had an unpleasant dip and then ridge in the middle, and on trying to adjust it I found rubbish on top of the mattress under the sheet. Staff could be heard on the phone telling customers it was their own fault that they were unable to access wifi, when it was clearly a widespread problem. I requested ice and was told they didn’t have any. The ironing board was awful and not properly padded and I ended up with metal marks on my clothing. The tea was twinings in motel style cups - def not luxury. All in all, there was a lack of attention to detail and care that was disappointing.

The upside was that the location was excellent, the sheets were nice and there was a Nespresso machine in the lobby.

Really comfortable welcoming place, it was just a hotel room we booked & it was the perfect space for us to use for our stay. Parking was a bit confusing at first because we’re not from Brisbane but the garage is at the front (not really anywhere on road to pull over so had to park in driveway of it to run inside & check in). At $35 a night it’s kinda average for everywhere we looked & we felt secure with our car in a locked space plus good sized parking spaces.

Elevators are really fast, hotel is clean & quiet. We appreciated the double glass doors on balcony so didn’t hear street noise or any others. TV was huge haha with lots of options of movies/shows/music so that was cool. Fridge could fit 2 bottles of wine lying down. The shower was massive & good pressure, they even had a small portable mirror that lit up so came in handy when getting ready. Bed was very comfortable to sleep in. We only had coffee at the cafe but the barista was lovely & coffee was on point. Food options looked great & nearby there’s quite few choices or lots on ordering apps. Would’ve loved to stay longer than a night for a show we were attending to be honest. It’d be a nice staycation spot to just relax & get out of the hustle & bustle of city life. Front desk staff were really sweet & helpful. Would stay here again. Nice view from balcony on level 2.

Neighbourhood looks like it’d be very lively on a weekend (we were there on a weekday). We went to Lefty’s & it was a cool spot!

The club next door was a little loud, but Ive stayed in hotels where this would have been a big problem. Parking underneath the hotel is convenient and considering our cost for the 1 night at short notice the cost of parking is reasonable.
Plenty of amazing restaurants including the pub with the hotel.
I looked at the guest guide for in room dining however couldnt find anything which was my only main complaint

The property itself was a very nice place.
On arrival though I think the person at the desk could have been a little more polite and more accommodating. I felt like I was intruding when she was taking my credit card and I.D and felt a bit uncomfortable. I know people have bad days and she may of been having that or even had a difficult person prior to my arrival but I was happy about it being Friday, happy that I was there for my Christmas party etc. Just a warm friendly face on arrival would have made the stay almost perfect.
