It’s hard to beat the proximity to the park. It makes afternoon naps very doable and the pool is always nice. This is one of our go to nearby hotels with the right price.

Not the most up to date hotel, but location was perfect to enter Disneyland or the adventure park. Had a small fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Two large beds, a small lounge, powerpoints but no USB points. Bathroom with large shower, toilet in bathroom hand basin outside adjacent to main room. Swimming pool that looked good but no time to use.

The staff was wonderful from checking in to the housekeeping and the valet staff. The room was clean, stocked with the nessecary items. Close to restaurants, had a corner store and a laundry room. Clean pool and spa area. Across the street from Disney. Couldn't ask for better. Will definitely stay here again.

This is our go to place to stay when visiting disneyland. The location is across the street and easy walking distance. There is ihop, mcdonalds, paneta, dennys and tony romas within a few minute walk which is beru helpful. Pool was clean and great for a break.

Overall property was great. Only need a place to sleep. Property is great location across the street from DL. Rooms were clean and presentable.

Check in was a different story from everything else. Checking in was very cold and rehearsed and quick. Didn’t take time to explain where our room was, just pulled the map out and drew a couple circles. Also didn’t explain the chargers that I was paying for. Very rehearsed and no personality. Not the best thing to walk into first thing on the property after a long flight.

Besides the from the check in issue everything was great. Would stay here again if the price is right and can look past the front end issue.

Everything was overall good. The only pain was that a pipe burst at the hotel and we didn’t have water for a portion of the day. This caused a little pain with the showering/flushing/washing situation. But other than that, it was great. They accommodated us and moved us to another room per my request.

Extremely close to Disneyland entrance. Kitchen room with two queen beds. Beds were pretty hard. Pool was clean but should have been warmer. Nice jacuzzi. Charged for parking, but ran out of spots due to using the same lot for valet. No breakfast available, but Denny’s and IHOP near by. No service for cleaning except fresh towels daily.

The Tropicana is clean. The bed was not comfortable, the pull out was not something my teen could sleep on. It was to small and felt awkward. There was also a lot of road noise that kept us up.

Honestly I was impressed with the cleanliness and service, better than expected and better than the Fairfield we stayed at the night before. I just wish they had some USB charging ports in the room! Being your chargers and power blocks - charged phones and other accessories are essential for a long day at Disneyland.

Loved having a kitchen separate from the room that included a dining table for 4. Although we didnt use the stove top, I did notice some of the burners were a bit warped which could make it difficult to cook for others. I do wish they would offer more than trash and towels for housekeeping during our stay, as we did have some small spills on our sheets that I had to clean up. Overall though it's great as a place to just sleep and recharge for another day at Disney. We stayed on the 1st floor which did lead to a lot of traffic right outside our door that we could clearly hear, but I understand it comes with the layout of the hotel. Still, I would stay here again, it was family friendly and so close to the park entrance. Also, they need more parking somehow, like the valet guy said, there's more rooms here than spaces to park, so even though I paid for self parking, we ended up having to valet our van due to no more self parking.

First of all- the location was absolutely fabulous! Right across the street from Disneyland. Our room was updated, clean, and the staff was friendly. My only complaint is that the rooms were quite small for my family of 5. We would have loved a little more room to move around, but we managed. Also, we had been traveling for a few days before and after, so a laundry service would have been nice. All in all, it was a great place to stay. We would absolutely stay there again!

Parking is very limited, I wasn’t able to park my car early. I parked a few hotels down. Once I was able to bring my car over it was blocked and couldn’t leave without getting valet involved. Hotel overall feels run down. I won’t be returning, the price doesn’t justify the experience I had.

I have to say for the price and it bing right across the street is a win ... genuinely hate waiting for an Uber or bus tram to take at the end of the day as all I want to do is lay down and that's what you get ...Had a basic room so you get a coffee machine microwave and mini fridge however no actual table other then a small bedside desk you get sofa but no extra chairs ...walls are thin but over all good for the stay room was clean McDonald's is literally less than a 5 min walk

I was disappointed with the parking situation because you have to pay for parking which is fine but then you can’t even park in front of the room you are staying at if you are on the first floor but to add to it you have to go find your own parking spot that has been sold to people that aren’t even guests at the hotel so it makes the start of the trip already bittersweet so I don’t think I will be returning to this hotel because it’s too much of an inconvenience.

The rooms are clean and modern. The beds are a little firm but not terrible. My only complaint is the market that is on property advertises “pastries” for breakfast that you can buy. I was thinking maybe some fresh pastries would be available but they were all pre packaged and not much selection. Otherwise it was very convenient for getting to and from Disney. I will be staying there again on my next trip.

I have visited Anaheim two to three times a year and have stayed at numerous hotels around the Disneyland area so the only two things about the Tropicana Hotel that were good was location and their Valet attendants other then that overpriced for what you get front desk not very informative or helpful beds uncomfortable definitely will not stay there again wish it would have been

The room was way too small for our family of 4. There’s not even a table to sit and eat food at besides a tiny bedside table and there’s hardly any room to even put suitcases. We stayed for 5 nights and they don’t change the bedding for the whole stay. Was a clean hotel but overall very uncomfortable for my husband and I and our 2 young boys.

The location of this hotel is phenomenal when visiting Disneyland with children. It is literally right across the street and an easy walk. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Our sink was draining slow on the first day and the front desk staff had it fixed immediately. They switched out our towels everyday and dumped the trash which was great. The valet staff were always nice and very cheerful. There was a microwave and small fridge as well as a coffee maker in the room. The room was clean and very comfortable.

This was our first trip to Disneyland. After doing my research I settled on the Tropicana Inn and Suites due to its location and price. Being able to walk to the parks in such a short amount of time--from the middle of Main Street to our room took about 13 minutes--made the trip so much nicer, especially after a full day in the parks.

Also, The Cove convenience store being on-site was great and allowed us to purchase breakfast items to put in our in room fridge. There is also a microwave but we didn't end up using that.

If you're looking for more hotel amenities, this isn't the property you are looking for--but, if you're looking to make a vacation to Disneyland better by being able to easily walk and not have to rent a car and truly get a good value, I'm not sure why you'd stay anywhere else

Love staying at the Tropicana. Location, cleanliness, and the friendly staff are always consistent and appreciated.
The only downside is the bed isn’t the most comfortable to share (you feel every movement) and not enough hooks for your towels or toiletry bags. Other than that they have everything you need for a convenient Disney stay.

Staff, my check out date was on Saturday but an annoying staff member banged on my door at around 1pm on Friday even though I had a “do not disturb” card on the door and trying to catch up on some sleep. She thought I was expected to be checked out by now! Not pleased I told I am checking out tomorrow, on Sat. Don’t know where she got her information from but it was wrong! Not Happy!

Our stay at the Tropicana was very good. The room we stayed in had 2 queen beds. Not a lot of room aside from the furniture but, it was fine for the amount of time spent in the room. The staff are very friendly. The bedding and surfaces were clean. The only issue we had with cleanliness was the carpet. I put on light colored socks that I had never worn before and after walking around a bit on the carpet, they were noticeably dirty. I guess direct access to the outdoors may cause that but, it was a bit disappointing. The water pressure in the shower was excellent and you can't ask for a much better location. We had an adjoining room and we could easily hear our neighbors. We could also hear the plumbing, footsteps and others using their washroom. The mini fridge was excellent and kept our beverages nice and cold and the microwave worked perfectly. The room had plenty of outlets but, none had built in USB so, be sure to bring adapters. The beds are a bit hard but, overall, the room was good and comfortable and I would stay there again.

This hotel charges a per night parking fee but has no parking spaces for their guests to park in themselves because they also let public park there for $44. When we arrived (party with 5 cars and 6 rooms) we could not park our cars by our hotel rooms. They offered “complimentary” valet. Very greedy and a big imposition on their hotel guests.
