The place smelled moldy when I walked in the door. The first room I was given wasn’t cleaned. So I was assigned a second room that was supposedly checked and deemed ready. The place was nasty! The carpet looked like it wasn’t vacuumed in a long time. There were toenail clipping on the floor! There was some sticky substance on the sofa. The bathroom had mold in the tub and there were pubic hairs on the sink! The cabinet holding up the tv was rotted and falling apart. The tv was leaning as a result. The bed sheets did not look clean, so I stayed fully clothed and tried to lay on the bed cover to grab a few hours sleep. I left the room at 4am without showering because I couldn’t stand the smell or the concentration camp style mattress any longer. I get that the place was “only” $90 a night, but c’mon now. It wasn’t worth $50! Unless you’re a slob with no sense of smell, I would NOT waste money on this place. Spend a few extra bucks and stay ANYWHERE else!

We weren't able to stay because they gave our room away despite us having prepaid the booking on hotel.com. They had the \"reservation\", but didn't understand what reservation actually means.

They also didn't have a good way to try to swap us to one of their other locations nearby because of how their system works. We had to call around to find a room separately and now have to work towards getting a refund since we didn't actually use our booking.

The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The first time, they assigned me a room that was already occupied. The second time, they gave me a room that hadn’t been cleaned. Only on the third try did I finally get a proper room. And I didn’t receive a single apology. The front desk staff were extremely indifferent and unhelpful!!!

Front desk staff was extremely rude an unprofessional. Whole experience with the pre-booking was awful and difficult-putting it nicely. She would not give us our room, or a refund, or even let us pay what she said “we owed for the room”- even though we booked and paid online. We wound up driving 3 hours home.

I honestly need to speak to customer service about the whole experience. The room they put me in had NOT been cleaned. No sheets on the bed, rotting food remnants in the fridge, whole room smelled rotten, bathroom wasn’t clean. Soap fragments left on sink, tub and shower dirty with dried brown residue in the bottom. The second room they moved us to had no trash can and the tv didn’t work but they had no other rooms available. The room also didn’t have sheets for the pull out couch. Room smelled like smoke. It was a terrible experience.

It was awful. It was so bad that we, thankfully, were able to cancel, get fully refunded and leave.
I booked 2 rooms for my family. The first room was tolerable but not the second room. It had no working light in the bathroom with part of the light fixture laying on the sink. There also was no shower curtain and a toilet plunger on the floor in the kitchen. The kitchen area in both rooms was not what I would consider clean.
After seeing these things we couldn't stay there. We were all concerned for our safety as we noticed the people in and out of the hotel and those lingering outside. One woman outside was obviously a prostitute and another man was making \"transactions\" with his customers..
This hotel looked decent from the photos but it was far from it. I'm so glad the front desk employee agreed for us to leave and be refunded as otherwise we would have had to sleep on guard with one eye open.We only needed a quick overnight stay for about 8 hours but this hotel was unclean and unsafe.

First off, the only reason I chose this place was due to the location being close to Truist Park Stadium for the concert I was attending. The lobby looks NOTHING like the photo. We got there about 7/7:30p, there was nobody at the front desk to check us in. We stood there for about 6/7 minutes waiting for someone after pressing the bell. I finally called the toll free number to get someone to check us in. The clerk came and was a bit rude, asking us \"what y'all doing here?\" I didn't feel that was any of her business, also her tone was horrible. We get up to the room and immediately I was ready to go! It looked NOTHING like the photos. The room was cramped, extremely small! The stovetop was nasty. The inside of the bathroom door has been punched, the door was on the hinges. The bathroom trash can was under the sink, I pulled it out and it hadn't been emptied; beer bottles and other trash in it. We immediately went to Walmart to get cleaning supplies and other things. We get back turn the TV on, only it DIDN'T WORK! Luckily we brought our tablets and watched movies on that. I go to turn the other light on beside the bed and it doesn't work either! Only one socket near the bed worked. At that point, I was frustrated and tired and just covered up with my own blanket. Fast forward to check out Sunday morning. I get up to go to the bathroom and start packing.... I see a huge roach on the kitchen counter crawling. The person I was with said she saw one in the bathroom earlier.

The worst extended stay ever!

The hotel smelled nasty, the front desk closed early with metal roll up window so no service available. Our room had blood splatter in multiple different spots, especially the bathroom. The fridge didn’t even have a door handle on it. Worse hotel I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve stayed in some bad ones.

Staff is absolutely amazing. I witnessed an exchange between a customer and staff. The customer was very rude and loud, however the staff member responded calmly and politely. She did everything she could to fix the problem. Staff is top tier. There’s of a lot food and entertainment places in walking distance from the hotel.

Do not recommend this property. The overall area seemed safe but always seemed to be lots of people “passing thru” the parking lot. The first room they gave us hadn’t been cleaned when we entered. We killed a roach in the restroom. There wasn’t enough towels for our party and apparently the place has no staff onsite overnight so we couldn’t get more.

Horrible experience! They didn’t have the double bedroom I booked so they tried to put me in two queen rooms but I was traveling with kids. They told me to call Expedia to have booking canceled which took some time. The front lobby smelled like marijuana with dirty floors. There were janky people coming in and out. I wouldn’t advise anyone to book here especially if you have kids.

It took 25 minutes just to check in as the lady who runs the front desk also does the laundry. You have to pay for more clean towels and they just simply wash your current ones and give them back. They only was 1 room at a time so you could be waiting a few hours for your towels. The \"queen\" size bed is really a full size

Horrible. Multiple cosmetic damages. Linens were thin and we could not get another pillow. No flatware, dishes or pots/pans in the kitchen. Fridge dents, couch rips, floor peeling up, tub safety bar missing, countertop partially installed. TV didn't work and could not get more than two towels. We had a reservation for Friday and Saturday night but changed hotels saturday.

This property is about 1.5 miles from Truist Stadium. We opted to use Uber to get to the Roxy for a concert. Parking was easy in/out from the property. The front desk closes at midnight so trying to find someone for a small issue to get rectified took a little time but the lady that helped us was understanding and helpful. I would stay here again for another 1 night stay if in the area in the future.

A very interesting start to our family vacation. Called the hotel around 6 Thursday to let them know we would be checking in late and girl that picked up just said okay, No asking name or anything to verify reservation. The lady at the from said that they didnt have any rooms left, only room available to accommodate us was the handicap room and only difference was that it had a walk-in shower. We agreed as long as that was the only difference we would take it, especially after a 6 hour drive. Once we got items from a store we came back to unload our items and family. You could tell room was not used in a while, couch undone and dirty, floors not swept, debre on bed, and mold in the bathroom on the seat of the shower and along the bottom fram of it. Found some crawlies in the bathroom but was told they just sprayed so to expect them, per Vivian at night. I was taken aback in disbelief. Tried to call the front, phone in room broken. Vivian said wait til morning to speak to the Manager. Talked with Brandon all moring, she was so nice and underanding, even walked the room with me. Gave me 800 number to speak to higher ups and they were a waste of time, spoke to 4 people even a supervisor and no help at all. I cant remember the manager on duty around 1030-11 but she is delightful and amazing, both really took the time to listen and got us into much better rooms!! Their amazing hospitality does go unoticed by this chain, these two need support to turn this place around, than you!

The staff is great. However Extended Stay America needs to refrain from saying they have a “fully equipped kitchen” because they don’t! I was told by the staff that I had to buy pots and pans; and that we can only have 1 body towel and 1 washcloth per person. That is crazy to me. Lastly, there were roaches galore in this unit. The bigs ones too….but also several little ones as well. Definitely a learning and humbling experience

We were not pleased with our stay

When we arrived to the hotel we were initially told that all the rooms were sold out even though I booked online days prior and paid. We were told that we would have to request a refund online and go stay at another hotel. Housekeeping had to clean a single bed room which wasn’t the type of room that we booked which took close to an hour, and after they finished cleaning it, they got informed by management that a double bed room was available the entire time. The entire process of getting situated into our room after arriving took over an hour and a half.

I'm not a very picky person when it comes to hotels, but this one was horrible. When we arrived the lobby reeked of marijuana. The lobbyist seemed inconvenienced by us checking in. She assigned us to a room, but didn't mention anything about it not being ready. We went up to our room, but was told by the man cleaning the room to come back in an hour or so. We came back later that evening to the whole hotel smelling like cigarettes & marijuana, chicken nugget crumbs on our floor, & a dirty wet mop left on the ground in front of our door. In the middle of the night someone jiggled our door handle trying to get in our room.

Awful experience! The room was infested with roaches and it took 2 days to get a desk chair when the room was missing one. Also the desk clerk that worked during the day had an attitude when I told that I am going to need another room if there are no chairs left.

Walked in desk was closed off with a metal gate. Picked up courtesy phone and no one answered. Called about 20 times. Lobby smelled horribly of marijuana. Finally someone came to the desk and checked us in - when my husband asked a question - he said “I am not working I’m just helping out”
Got in the room, only 1 towel and one washcloth for a room for 6. Debris all over bathroom floor and the rest of the floor was sticky… next morning left at 10 am still no one at desk and desk covered by rolling metal door.
