Wow. This place has a grocery store on the ground floor. I was in some kind of suite that was bigger and nicer than my apartment. The buffet is great and the restaurant has very good for for lunch and dinner. There trams right outside the front door that go to old town that cost very little to ride. Great option to stay here and get way more for your money as opposed to getting closer and paying more. The tram takes 20 minutes to drop off in center.

Very nice interior and comfortable beds. A shop is within walking distance. There is a tram stop across the road for the city centre and other locations. The staff are very friendly and bilingual. An uber from krakow is only about £10 and 15-20 minutes.

Large rooms, all with balcony and kitchen area (2 ring electric hob, microwave, large fridge with small freezer compartment).
4 night stay, rooms not serviced “due to pandemic”!!
Some noise through the wall from the neighbouring room on the last night.
Convenient for the cluster of offices at the Life Science And a technology parks, also the Jagellonian University campus, but Kazimierz and the city centre are a 10-20 min taxi ride or 30-40 mins by tram.

Overall good experience. Our room had a kitchen, but there were no appliances, so we had to ask the staff and they let us get what we needed from a closet. We had a mixup with our late checkout. Either we were misunderstood or the ok wasn’t passed on the the next crew. It was fine, but a little inconvenient. Minor things for a good place to stay.

Short stay in Krakow

The Aparthotel was wonderful, very comfortable with a good sized apartment that was well fitted out with everything needed and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The onsite Oregano restaurant provides good service and tasty meals at a reasonable price, and again with friendly customer focussed staff. The Oregano also provides a hot and cold buffet breakfast with an ample selection to suit all.
The Aparthotel is about a 25 minute tram ride to the centre of Krakow and as the tram stop was just across the road and with trams to the centre (Nos. 52 and 18) every few minutes this suited us as we did not want to be right in the centre.
Krakow old town and castle looked lovely areas to explore but we had been unfortunate with the
weather as the three days we stayed it was wet and cold so not ideal for exploring. We were told this was most unusual for May and as soon as we left the weather changed becoming dry and warmer. The area where we stayed looked quite new, there seemed to be a large university and some technology companies with further development still going on.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. As I travelled for business I was working late and starting early. Breakfast starts at 7am which was perfect for my needs. Great location as it’s near a tram platform so you can get the tram into krakow town

Hotel is located conveniently next to a tram stop for the 15min run into the centre. It has the benefit of a small shopping area and resturaunt which serves excellent food. Staff are very attentive and polite.
Noise from the road is at a minimum depending on room location, but I had no trouble sleeping with the balcony door open.

Now My Hotel of Choice in Krakow

My stay at the Vanilla Aparthotel was amazing!!! Nothing but excellent service, location, and great value. Tramway stop to go anywhere in city is just outside the front door of building. Hotel reception is on second floor of building with excellent Italian restaurant, supermarket, drug store, and
gift shop at ground level. Hotel staff spoke English and were ready and happy to assist in
any way they could to make sure your every need and request were handled quickly, far
exceeding my service expectations.

Hotel was very handy for our purpose and about 30 minute tram ride into old town. However arrived on Easter Sunday and no restaurants in the vicinity including the hotel restaurant were open. Would have been nice to have been prewarned of this. Had to trek into old town just to eat

Excellent hotel! Highly recommended!

A brand new hotel. Apartments are awesome. Big and comfortable. Balcony with a nice view. Location very good, outside center but there is a tram to the the center right in front of the hotel. The ground floor has a supermarket and and a Rossman which is convenient for buying food products or necessities. The breakfast is served in the adjacent beautiful restaurant and was excellent with a large vaierty of hot/cold dishes. Staff very kind and helpful. Nice neighborhood with more shops/restaurants. Highly recommended!

I went to this hotel as I missed my flight home on Friday. It has been a very good choice. It is not very far from the airport, 20 min. The rate very good and downstairs there was also a nice restaurant.
I will keep it as a good alternative to hotels in Kracow center.

Good room but beware of noisy construction work

I was arriving very late at night (after midnight) but the staff were good and also organised a airport transfer for me. The room was clean and well-presented but it would have been good to have black-out curtains because the sun was very bright in the morning and woke me up. However, to anyone thinking of staying, I would recommend that they first ask the hotel about the on-going renovation work. There was drilling starting from 8am which woke me up on the second morning and when I was waiting in the lobby for my colleague, the noise was terrible and Im sure I was deafened by it.

It was the first and it will be for sure the last time that I was be in this aparthotel. Reservation was done throught a booking site. I was travelling business and I asked my invoice with company information as I do in every hotel. I received the information from staff/manager that they cannot provide an invoice since the reservation was done throught a booking site. I asked them to contact this site since they work together but I receive the information that I should contact the site's heldesk... I was an hotel´s guest and the staff was not able to provide me with the required invoice.

A little out of the way, but the trains are nearby. Wifi is OK at best. Forget working via your work's VPN, and invest in a hotspot. The staff is friendly and their is a convenience store on the first floor in case you forget any small items during your travels.

Excellent - very helpful staff

The staff here were always helpful, English-speaking and ready to assist. They explained how we could use the tram, the stop is just across the road and takes about 25 mins to get into the town centre (Cracow was much bigger than we expected!) Very clean and tidy. Always felt very safe and secure which as two women is always important. Myself and my mother would definitely recommend.

Great apartment hotel, close to public transport

This is a great, fairly new apartment hotel, which means it comes with a small kitchenette, a fridge, a microwave and a small balcony. Interior is modern, functional design. Breakfast is included in price and is really excellent (buffet with lots of choices, continental and american)! It takes about 20min to downtown Krakow with tram 52, which runs frequently (every 10min during the day, 20min during evening hours). The tram stop is just across the street from the hotel. The tram also connects directly to the main train and bus stations, which is convenient for arrival or departure (e.g. connect to the airport via bus 292 from the main bus station). The neighborhood is a new development in one of the new suburbs in Krakow, very safe, quite, clean and not far from the university. There is a small grocery store in the hotel building, which is open until 9:30 pm. There is also a restaurant, which is open daily until 10pm. Wifi in the room is excellent.
Overall, a very positive experience.

Nice hotel but far away from the city center

This is a very nice hotel with an excellent staff. The only complaints I had are that it's a 30 minute tram ride into the Old Town if you're there for sightseeing. My tours would not offer hotel pickup because I was so far outside the city center. The tram is located right across the street, however, and you can buy tickets in the shop located in the lobby for about $1.25 USD (gets you 40 minutes, one way into the city). The other complaint was that I didn't see any dials or controls for the temperature. I woke up sweating each night. Maybe I just overlooked the thermostat? I never got around to asking about it, but I would check with the hotel before you book if that's a deal breaker for you. The hotel itself was very sleek, modern, and clean. All tv channels are in a Polish too, so be aware you'll need your own entertainment. The staff is VERY helpful.

Krakow for 2 nights

Stayed at Vanilla Aparthotel for the price and distance to the airport. The staff were excellent and the hotel is pristine. We loved our room and it is very close to the tram although its still a 20 min ride to the downtown plaza. We booked a tour of Auschwitz online and they picked us up and dropped is off directly at the hotel. Breakfast was good and we walked about two blocks one evening and found a nice pizzeria. Would recommend if you don't mind a short commute to the downtown! Also the spa and the gym are not attached to the hotel.. we didn't use them but I think they are 5 or 6 blocks away FYI.

Great apartment, not easy to find

This hotel was stylish, and had excellent service. However, ot was difficult to find. We input the address given into our GPS and it showed it did not exist; I would recommend calling for directions if you book. Also, the rooms have no A/C. The restaurant downstairs has decadent food; there is also a grocery store and pharmacy in the building.

It has all you need for a comfortable night or mor

A microwave, a large fridge / tv / bed /bathroom, hotplate / kettle etc. what more do you need. At least three restaurants within one to four minutes walk with a large supermarket on ground floor where you can get all the food and drink you need. You will need to drive or take tram / bus if you want to visit city centre, however think of all the spare £££ you will have to spend on better food / drink / entertainment / excursion by not staying in the city or paying high city prices

Great overall Hotel.

The Hotel was by far maintained with pride and excellence. The upkeep was wonderful. The staff, well I have seldom if ever seen better. The help from the front desk was amazing. The \"highway\" main route from Czech to Krakow was closed for about 20 kilometers. I, along with a couple of hundred others, were roaming around trying to follow our GPS devises to no avail. I told the man at the Hotel desk about this and on the morning I was leaving I was given six maps. Each map had a turn off and way to get around this mess. The service there is superb and very professional.

Great value for what should be a 5 star hotel :)

Spotless, modern decor, spacious, fantastic shower and super comfy bed. Breakfast was in restaurant downstairs and it was pretty standard. This is an unreal place to stay for anybody! Steal of a deal. I would compare it to many 5 star hotels i have stayed at in Europe. Only downside is it isnt right near the downtown but the tram is right outside and goes to the centre in about 12-15 minutes. Costs about a $1 per person for a 20 minute ticket. Plus side to being outside the centre is that the parking is free at the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke perfect english

This hotel is very nice!!!u can see it's fairly new as it looks like no one has lived there before, it gives u that clean feeling which I love! Service was great, staff was very helpfull and spoke English. Our room was cleaned daily. It wasn't very big, but enough for us n i loved the bathroom!!!!!There is a lovely Italien restaurant on the ground floor so very convenient!!!plus there's a small supermarket n sth similar to 'superdrugs' next door to the restaurant so everything on the spot if u need it. The hotel is pretty far from the city centre so u need a car if u want to stay there, although I'm pretty sure there is a bus stop nearby. U can use their private car park which will cost u about £8 a night but u can park outside as well which is free. Overall it's a lovely hotel, we were very happy with it!!!!

A nice cleanly hotel in a developing neighbourhood

Staff and room were excellent, location is a bit tricky to get too. Three buses from airport and then from hotel to town centre its one bus and a tram journey. Overall I was very pleased none the less and using the Polish transport was a learning curve. I will be coming back here and happy to stay at this hotel again.
