First, it is not staffed like a regular hotel.
The entry is very odd going through the back hallway of an old church to a very old elevator.
Endorse the outside was only sometimes secure and one night remained as an alarm all evening.
You’re welcome one morning at 8 AM to loud grinding and banging sounds on the floor above.
Overall, a very good location, but not one if you want to be able to pull up your car and remove your bags or sleep well.

It's fantastic area St Angelo castle bridge just 10 steps from entrance of property and St Peter's Basilica is a couple of hundred meters.
The front desk Ms Irene was very kind and knowledgeable, it really helped,
Room was cozy but clean and modern ,Around area lots of dinning options.
I strongly recommend this property.

Mediocre Stay that fits the Price

The hotel room itself was fine, it was relatively clean and had a decent amount of space. However, there was a weird smell throughout the entire property, the lift was small, and the front desk was not staffed past 4:30 PM. Check out is at 10:30 AM and I had asked to leave our bags in the room until 11, which was confirmed with the hotel contact. When we got back to the hotel before 11 AM, our bags were moved in the hallway and the room was fully cleaned, which makes me think they must have been sitting there unattended for at least an hour if not more. Additionally, the shuttle service to and from the airport is more expensive then if you were to book it yourself. Very mediocre stay in my opinion and not pleased about the safety and security of our belongings.

Really nice hotel. Location is perfect, it is conveniently placed in between the Vatican and many attractions like Trevi Fountain or Pantheon, so it is walkable. The receptionist is extremely nice! We communicated prior that we would be arriving early and we found our room ready. They also had a free luggage storage that we utilized since our flight was later than our check out. The room was spacey, had many great amenities, and was extremely comfortable. Although the reception is not 24h, they are very quick with responding to any messages at any time! Everything was clean and safe.

The only bad thing is that if your flight is really early, Italian public transport is not available and you have to get their 75€ transport, and they definitely won’t help you book a regular city taxi that is around 30-40€ (you need an Italian number to be able to book a taxi through the app)

Quaint hotel in walking distance from the vatican

The customer service was excellent & the amenities were great. They even let us leave our luggage after checkout which made it WAY easier to explore Rome for our last day.

The hotel itself met expectations - a clean and comfortable room. While the front desk is only in operation for a few hours during the day - they were available via text message and luckily they allow guests to self-serve for things such as new towels, toiletries, etc. They also offered a luggage hold (free of charge) which was much appreciated.

The major draw of staying here is that it is perfectly located and within walking distance of all major attractions in Rome.

Overall, the value is worth the price. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Rome.

We had an excellent experience at the bridge suites. We had a late check in due to our flight, and Irene sent detailed instructions by how to get into the hotel. It went very smoothly! We were impressed by the modern room and enjoyed our stay! We loved the location - right across from Castel De San Angelo and lovely Roman streets. We were a 10 minute walk to the Vatican too! We were able to walk all throughout Rome with this hotel. Excellent location. Clean and tidy and modern room with great coffee in the room. We were very pleased with Irene who I communicated with online prior to our arrival, she answered all our questions and also in person she took great care of us! I would highly recommend this hotel.

Comfortable room. The location was perfect as it is right across castel st Angelo and an easy 15 min walk to the Vatican. This hotel is a bit of a hidden gem as it was difficult to find the first day, its a random door in the wall and there are multiple floors with other businesses so it was confusing but thankfully they will send you instructions on how to reach them and locate the floor. I would recommend this hotel, perfect location and room was comfy!

Great accommodations in a fantastic, vibrant neighbourhood that’s very walkable. Which is good because there is very little parking or public transit available in the vicinity. The four storey walk up has a small, closet elevator available, but not one we noticed until after we had done the stairs the first time (with our luggage) so if you’ve got bags with you, keep an eye out for that lift when you arrive!

The hotel never sent the cab that they said they would so we waited in line for 45 minutes for a taxi, realized we weren’t even half way through the line and it was after 10pm so we just paid $120 for an Uber. When we asked about a credit, it was a no.

The rooms are so small that there was nowhere to put your suitcase but on the bed. Floors in the rooms are dirty and towels were stained.

Maybe a good place to stay if you have low expectations or don’t care about anything more than a place to sleep for a night.

The units are small but comfortable. I understand we are spoiled Americans but I found a few hairs in the shower and on the floor. Not what we are used to. We let housekeeping come in every day. Still had to ask for additional toilet paper and coffee because they didn’t top it off. Other than that, the location is excellent. Building is very safe and has an elevator. Literally across the street is a restaurant with the BEST fillet I have ever had! Enjoy!

The property is modern and clean. It is a good location to stay as it is closer to Vatican and about 1 mile walk to Colosseum. The restaurant nearby is pretty loud till midnight. It was not easy to find the property as it does not have signs on any wall. It is just a name plate near the door.

We arrived late at night and the front desk had contacted us earlier to make sure we knew how to acccess th main door and room doors and allowed for an in person check in the next day. The key system is unique and they provide a YouTube video showing you how to use it which saved us some headache. The property was clean and the service was good.

Boo hiss! No luxury from arrival to departure. ☹️

We were not impressed. Building is located between two “pedestrian only” streets so our taxi had to drop us off 2 blocks away. We pushed all our luggage in the rain to the building. There’s no sign indicating “Bridge Suites”. We stumbled upon a tiny name plate over a not obvious side entry but no one responded to “buzz” us in as we stood in the rain. After a while, a guest from another apartment happened to exit the building so we gained entry to the building only to have no idea where the suites were. The entry contains a dumpster with organic matter and the floors and walls are dirty. I climbed 4 of the 5 flights of stairs and found a locked door that read Bridge Suites. Someone came to the door but spoke very little broken English so communication was difficult at best. The shower looks nice but there’s no shelf to set toiletries except onto the slick floor or is a towel hook within reach of the shower. The bathroom trash can lid did not work, nor did the closet safe. Breakfast was not included as per their website; nor did we have a view of the castle or rooftops, just interior alleys. There are only 5 rooms. Cheap down alternative comforters looked good but didn’t breath so we didn’t sleep well. There’s a little elevator for the building but you have to climb 4 flights of stairs when others leave the doors unlatched. Advertised “shuttle service” meant they called for a taxi but made us pay the 65 euro fee when we could have taken an Uber/Taxi to the airport for 50.

Great stay, very clean and looks newly refurbished, but the breakfast was at a cafe around the corner which consisted of either an Italian breakfast (1 cappuccino, 1 croissant, 1 juice and 1 yogurt) or English (1 ham and cheese toast, 1 yogurt, 1 filtered American coffee). That was the only thing that was disappointing. The stay was great and super close to the Vatican and about 10 minute walk to the pantheon. Time is a walking city so expect to walk heaps. I would recommend these rooms, the young girl at reception was super lovely.

A Wonderful Night’s Stay!

We were only here for 1 night at the end of a 2 week trip through Italy, and we loved this suite. It was clean, modern, air conditioned well furnished and quiet! The check in process was very easy, and the woman who welcomed us was friendly and helpful, and made us feel right at home. The location is great as the bridge across the river into Vatican City is right outside the door, and all the other major tourist attractions are within 15-20 minutes walk away. A few good restaurants are right outside and the BONUS is that this is a pedestrian street with no cars so the area is nice and quiet, which in the busy city of Rome is a wonderful luxury!

Not your regular hotel! I felt like I had my own little studio apartment, minus the kitchen, in Rome. Initially, I was a little scared because there is no security or any staff overnight but by the end of my stay I did not care. Everything in the suites seem newly remodeled but the bed was a little uncomfortable. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and the price was awesome! I would definitely come back! I would not stay here with kids though, the walls are really thin and noise travels through the hall. There are only 5 rooms!

Not a hotel but a number of suites on the 4th floor of a building used by others.

Upon entering the floor we were greeted by a friendly smile, the owner, who explained how the keys to the building, floor and suites worked. He then continued to escort us to our room and explained how to use the air con and showed us around the room.

The room was light and airy, very clean, comfy bed and nice pillows and sheets. A good sleep was had! The bathroom was quite tiny, but then it wasn't an issue for us as everything was in good working order. Spacious shower cubicle, toilet, bidet and a basin.

The mini-bar had a good array of choice and was not too pricey.

Julia the receptionist was always smiling, and willing to advise us on places to visit and nice restaurant to dine in, and can confirm the food at the restaurants were really tasty and authentic.

The position of the suites is perfect for visiting Rome. Out of the main doorway, turn right and just a mere crossing of the bridge and you arrive at Castel D'Angelo, turn left over the bridge and a further few hundred meters and you find yourself in the Vatican Square. Turn left at the main doorway and you're on your way to Piaza Navano, Piaza Venezia, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum.

Would I consider staying at the Suites again.....NO DOUBT, can truly recommend. Keep up the good work/condition.

Great for a couple or someone flying solo who wants to be close to the river. Everything is walkable, the rooms are lovely, the staff is as well.
This should not be considered by anyone who requires 24-hour staff on site or anyone planning on getting a bit rowdy. A must stay for anyone wanting Vatican close without Vatican prices.

Very affordable guesthouse in a central location. The service was wonderful, with friendly, English-speaking staff always willing to put forth the extra effort to make my stay comfortable. The rooms are a bit on the small side, but it's plenty of space for a solo traveler or a couple. The rooms and all the amenities are quite new, and everything is kept tidy. For being right by a tourist hotspot, the noise level was minimal. Most of Rome's big draws are all within walking distance; the farthest thing away was the Colosseum and the old city, which was about 30 minutes of walking. Overall, fantastic place and I will definitely stay here again when I am next in Rome!

Hotel was hard to find from the street as the signage was small and it is a suite within a building with only a handful of rooms. Staff was helpful is assisting with needs by helping to arrange some train travel. Room was clean and updated although rather small. Location is ideal, walking distance from nearly everything we needed and very close to some great restaurants. Would recommend and would use again.

Awesome little \"guest house\"

A wonderful 4 room guest house with an terrific staff (Claudia, especially, was one of the warmest and most sincere hotel employees we've encountered in a long time), hidden away almost on the river and within a short distance of the Vatican, restaurants, and the rest of the city. The room was large enough and had been recently remodeled. We are already taking about a possible return visit.

The best place I have ever stayed in Rome. A little different than a normal hotel but way better. Suites are on the 4 floor of a mixed type building, business and private residents. The level of service and style of suites are amazing. It's like having your own apartment. Location is awesome. Kept better then a 5 star hotel.

Wonderful stay

Our room was recently renovated, very spacious and very clean. We stayed for 3 nights and found the location to be excellent. Vatican City is a 5 minute walk, the metro is 2 blocks away and it's 10 minutes to the other side of the river. Staff are very friendly and accomodating. Highly recommend.

Best location in Rome

Sweet Stay is in a fantastic location. 5 Minutes to the Vatican and Castel St. Angelo and within 20 minutes of Trastevere and all of the ancient Roman Ruins (Coloseum, Forum, Panteon)and 5 minutes from Piazza Novona. Surrounded by great little restaurants and shopping. Valerio was an excellent host and gave us tons of information and great restaurant tips.
