Everything was fine. I visited this property for the second time and I'm even more satisfied.
Of course, it comes equipped with a kettle, cups, cutlery, and plates. That's nice.
Close to shops and restaurants.
I recommend it.

This hotel was around a nice 15 minute walk south of the main square, located off the Main Street and a 15 second walk away from the best bakery I visited during my stay.

Staff members are super friendly, and looked after me as a solo traveller very well. Gave me advice on how to book activities, and where to go.

The decor within the hotel is outdated, however this countered by a very nice decorated modern ensuite room.

Fab Hotel Perfect Location

This is a relatively small, quirky hotel, on the edge of the Jewish district. It's within walking distance of the river, the castle and the main touristy square.

Room was spacious and clean, and had a tv, kettle, hairdryer.

If you're from UK you need the plug adapters, same as most places in Europe, and there were no USB sockets, not that I was expecting there to be.

We only had breakfast there one morning, and that was a very nice buffet style meal.

Two doors down is an amazing Greek restaurant, I'd highly recommend.

I'd like to visit Krakow again, and if I do so, I would definitely stay at this hotel.

Cafe and the stay has been superb :)

The residence is easy to locate and is near public transport. The hotel receptionist was very helpful in guiding me throughout the stay. Rooms are clean and tidy and they make sure that your stay is comfortable. What I really liked is their cafe and garden area which was decorated by a collection of cycling memorabilia which is very unique.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Very unique, traditional and the staff were absolutely lovely. Allowed me to check in early, which was tremendously helpful. Loved the breakfast and thought the price was very competitive. It is a little difficult to find and not the closest to the town centre but the public transport is very good and I needed to be closer to the Podgorze region, for my planned trips, so this was ideal. Would definitely go again and they are also in the process of refurbishment, improving on the already good facilities.

Wonderful Stay in Krakow!

The Residence Tournet is a charming hotel located in the centre of Krakow. Just a five minute walk from the old Jewish district of Kazimierz and a ten minute walk from the beautiful old town. The hotel was clean and warm and very safe. The surrounding area is really charming with plenty of public transport options, shops, cafes, restaurants and bars and it was very quiet and peaceful during the evening. The rooms were basic but wonderful for the price with everything you could need to make the most out of your time in Krakow. The breakfast in the morning was perfect and very delicious and the staff were exceptional and could not do enough for me. They were kind and helpful and made me feel very welcome. If ever I return to Krakow, I would love to stay here again to further explore this fascinating city. Thank you for a wonderful stay Residence Tournet!

Very central hotel to everything. Breakfast wasn’t for us , would have liked fruit and yoghurt included. You can order a take out breakfast which was ok. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfy. Room was a good size.

The area have everything, little supermarket, places to eat or take away, public transport about 5 minutes walking distance, 15/20 minutes walking distance to Main Square

The room was clean and tidy and lively and warn when were arrived. Loved the fact there was a cafe attached to the hotel. The only downside was the winding stairs to the room as we were st the back of the hotel. Would definitely use this hotel again if visiting Krakow as close to amenities and fairly near the castle and main square.

Nice, great breakfast, can't recommend in winter.

I booked very late, they had to put heating on when I arrived, but it didn't really help, it was cold. Room was clean and breakfast was really good.
Check-out was at 10am, but there was construction work right next to my room which began just before 8am, so didn't really sleep well.

This is a nice hotel with a bohemian feel. It is in a good position in the Jewish Quarter but is still handy for the town centre, the main square is about 10 minutes walk away. The Jewish Quarter seems to be the most interesting part of Krakow and also the best for restaurants. It is very touristy everywhere. We went to see Auschwitz, you just book on a tour in the town.

Fabulous little hotel.

Excellent hotel with a great location in the Jewish Quarter and 10 minutes walk into town. Hotel staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean & spacious. Free breakfast was a fantastic bonus. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend and will stay again. Hotel has a lovely restaurant and outside terrace area attached. Fabulous!!

Grand spot in Krakow!

Nice but basic hotel in a great location in the old Jewish district, close to nightlife & restaurants & easily walkable from the historic quarter in 15 mins or so.
The Breakfast is a bit basic & could do with more variety.
Roman on reception was very helpful.

Good value.

This is good small hotel - 18 rooms. About 20 minutes to Market Square. Nice and quiet area.
Staff was also quite nice and accommodating. Good full breakfast. Bathroom had a little molding around the tub. And there was no shower curtain. Rest was pretty good. I would stay there again. The food in the restaurant was quite tasty and good price.

Good hotel for a short stay in Kracow. The staff were very friendly and the food was great. It however became a little warm in the room with not much air flow, the hot water was not hot enough and ran out and could not connect to internet in the bedroom. Overall though, had a good experience.

Nice place.Very welcoming staff and very pleasant throughout my stay. Room is comfortable, really great towels (been looking at buying the same after my stay there), good selection at breakfast. Located 10 mins walk to the old town square, close to the main sight in the jewish quarter. Whether it is museums/castles or nightlife (it is 5 mins walk around the corner) this is a great place to stay at a good price. Thanks!

Don't judge a book by it's cover !

At first glance at the outside of this hotel you would be quite entitled to be apprehensive. But that is where your doubt ends because everything else is spot on if you are looking for a budget hotel that serves excellent food. You need to take your own hairdryer & coffee as they supply the water and kettle but not the actual drink. However, there is a chemist/mini market just around the corner that sells sachets of Nescafe, hot chocolate, etc. Everywhere is spotlessly clean, the staff go out of their way to be helpful and are most apologetic if they can't provide you with exactly what you want. Great location, close to the centre but nice and quiet, great coffee, even better cake, nice courtyard but most of everyone who works there was chatty, friendly, helpful and they even dry your trainers for you (long story),

Great little hotel

This hotel is good value for money. It is within easy walking distance of the city centre and is situated in an interesting area with a large number of good value and varied restaurants. The hotel is clean with modern fittings and equipment, the staff are cheerful and helpful and it is reasonably priced. The hotel's own restaurant has a tasty menu. I stayed with my two adult children and would stay there again without hesitation.

Good hotel for the price

Hotel interior was fine. It appeared that it had been recently renovated. Problem was with a bar down the street which created a lot of noise during the evening and night. Not sure if there was a side of the hotel that might have been quieter. Also no airconditioning and no elevator. The included breakfast was superb and staff were helpful with small requests.

We just came back from 1 night stay at Tournet and it is as expected from all the review. Small hotel, great and friendly staff at the reception, clean with small but adequate room. We feel welcomed when we first arrived and they help stored our luggage on the last day with no questions. Breakfast was good. It is about 15-20 mins walk to the main square but we felt safe. Overall good hotel for the price.

Good value Hotel

My husband and I had a \"red\" double room in this hotel which was spacious and recently decorated with a large en suite. There was a table and 2 chairs, a kettle, glasses, mugs and saucers and even a bottle opener! The downside is there is no complimentary tea/coffee but I had read a review before setting off about that and we took our own and bought a pint of long life milk from a nearby shop. The odd part was although we had a double bed it has two single duvets on it and the sheets were patched and holey. I couldnt fault the receptionists though who mostly spoke good English and were very helpful when we asked for more toilet paper (as the room is not cleaned during your stay unless you ask for it to be done), the lend of a hairdryer and booking a day trip. A nice suprise was the addition of the restaurant downstairs which is very nicely decorated and breakfast was served down there. We had read reviews previously about picking up some bread rolls from reception and eating in your room, but this is no longer the case! This hotel is located in the Jewish quarter but it was only 10-20 minutes walk to the castle and main square of Krakow so ideally located and there were some good and probably cheaper places to eat locally. I wouldnt hesitate to stay at this hotel on future visits to Krakow but I would think it unsuitable to less mobile people as there were 56 steps to our room on the 2nd floor and there was at least one level above ours!

The hotel is in an old building, the rooms we stayed in are in converted flat and to get to the reception have to go through communal stairs I suppose. The room was decent, the staff is great, breakfast great, close to city center which was also helpful.

We stayed in this hotel from the 09/12/2011 until the 12/12/2011 and I was pleasantly suprised.
Looking at the reviews and seeing 'Cheap and cheerful' sometimes leaves you wondering - well wonder no more. The rooms werespacious and clean - we had 2 rooms the blue one and yellow one. The rooms were very bright and clean and the staff were very helpful and polite. Breakfast was just what you would expect - continental - meats cheeses, eggs, sausages, breads, jams, tea, coffeee, juices etc and all you can eat - filled us up for the best part of the day. The food to purchase was also very nice and very cheap, especially when the 3 course specials were on and good sized portions - sometimes we ordered fewer meals or kiddies portions!!! The accomodation is situated away from the main square but was withing a 10/15 minute walking distance - do not let this put you off, you get to see sights sometimes you would not see normally. You are also based new the old jewish district which itself is very pretty and you are not to far away from Wawel Castle!! Would deffinately visit again - as a frequent traveller to Poland this is one of the nicest hotels!!!

Good value for a character hotel in the Jewish Quarter

The hotel is a stone's throw from the excellent restaurants and sights in the Jewish Quarter (Kazimierz) but in less than 10 minutes you can walk to Wawel Castle and onwards to the centre of Krakow. There is a tram close by to get to the bus and train station but unfortunately the noise of this does carry and the room was a bit noisy as a consequence, but it's more background city noise as the hotel is on a cul de sac street . The service and breakfast are excellent. There is a kettle and crockery in the room but you will have to provide your own tea bags/coffee/milk etc. We had an excellent stay and would recommend this hotel for a good value short break in Krakow.

De kamers waren erg gehorig. Als je mensen hebt die boven je weet ik veel wat aan het doen zijn, dan kost het je nachtrust. Wij zaten grenzend aan de binnentuin, waar op sommige plekken volop feest werd gevierd.

Aan de andere kant hoor je ook de tram en uitgaans leven.

Neem oordoppen mee als je naar dit hotel gaat.

Het bed was te klein en de kussens waren niks.

De kamer was verder piekfijn en netjes, qua schoonmaken op verzoek ook heel goed.

Een dag ontbijt gedaan in het hotel tegen 35 PLN, maar dat is het niet waard. Heel simpel Ik zou een broodje gaan eten bij de bakker om de hoek. Met koffie erbij ben je goedkoper uit.

Tips voor het hotel:

Probeer iets te doen aan vloer isolatie, gevel isolatie

zet een langer bed neer met goede kussens. Een extra kussen in de kast
Een kluisje met cijfercode in de kast
Ontbijt iets uitgebreider met vleeswaren, verschillende brood etc.

De locatie vh hotel is perfect. Er valt meer uit te halen.

Arrivés tard, nous avons eu toutes les infos nécessaires par sms, demande de petit dejeuner à emporter car le vol etait tôt. En arrivant , tout était prepare dans un sac. SUPER SERVICE
MALHEUREUSEMENT, nous n ’avons pu rencontrer les gerants pour les remercier. À proximité des transpirts et du chateau 5 à 10 mn à pieds. En plein quartier juif très typique.

Vastaanotto oli vain klo 18 saakka auki, enkä ollut saanut tekstiviestillä saapumisohjeita, kuten väittivät. Puhelinsoitolla asia selvisi ja sain huoneen numeron ja koodin.
Hotelli on hyvällä paikalla, keskellä kaikkea. Hissi on, mutta portailta ei voi välttyä.
Huone oli tilava, mutta sänky oli parhaat päivänsä nähnyt, eikä huonetta siivottu kertaakaan kolmen päivän aikana. Huomioi, ettei ilmastointia ole, jos matkustat kuumana aikana.
Aamiainen oli tyypillinen puolalainen aamiainen ja aivan riittävä.
Henkilökunta oli mukavaa ja osaavaa.

Alles ist in Ordnung. Lage in der Nähe von Wawel, Smok und der Altstadt. In der Nähe gibt es einen 24-Stunden-Shop und Restaurants.
Code-Eingabe. Eine gute Lösung.
Zu den Nachteilen zählen falsche Angaben zur Zimmernummer per SMS, die ich erst spät am Abend erfragen musste, und kaltes Wasser.
Ansonsten war alles ok, bis auf den frühen Check-out um 10 Uhr.

Bra läge i Krakows judiska kvarter på bekvämt promenadavstånd från Wawelborgen och Gamla stan. Trapphuset gav ett dystert intryck, inte hotellikt. Ingen luftkonditionering. Mycket buller från kroglivet på gatan under kväll och nätter, men med öronproppar gick det att stänga oväsendet ute.
Personalen var mycket trevlig och vänlig. Trevligt att sitta ute på bakgården och äta frukost. Prisvärt.
