We had a wonderful stay at the Aparthotel Oberza. The staff were really helpful ahead of and during our stay, arranging airport transfers, trips and ensuring our rooms were ready when we arrive early following a very early flight, which was much appreciated.
The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet overlooking the pretty courtyard, with a lovely balcony to sit out on.
Breakfast was delicious and huge! With plenty of veggie options.
The location is excellent within easy walk of river, castle and main square, and there are plenty of great bars and restaurants in the surrounding streets.
We had a great stay and will be back.

I’ve stayed here twice now and noticed many upgrades from the first time. Friendly staff! If your room is facing the street it is a little loud but the hotel provided earplugs. Room cleaning was later in the day but not an issue.

Unnoticeable gem
Several issues surfaced with the room which they couldn't mend. We were immediately upgraded without any questions. Stayed longer than we had booked. The 2 restaurants located at either side of the front entrance serve amazing polish dishes, no need to go elsewhere. Close to the main attractions yet located in a quiet neighbourhood.

It was great to find an aparthotel that had staff on hand during the day. I was able to drop my bags off early and have questions answered. The staff were very helpful. The accommodations have such character and I was glad they had a room for solo travellers. The area is great for food and drink - I ate so well at many places nearby. It was easy to connect with other areas of Krakow by tram stops within walking distance. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Firstly it was not easy to find it, small entrance/ door between 2 restaurants. Staff were nice and helpful when they were around. The room did not even have a bin. There was a little towel in the bathroom supposedly for make up removal which was discoloured and old. I wouldn’t even clean the floor with that let my face. The tv was not tuned into a channel and who wants to spend time tuning a tv on holiday rather than watching it?! One day staff were still cleaning rooms late at 6 pm which I had never experienced anywhere else before with sound of vacuum cleaner etc! Worse than that was the noise in the area, almost every night I woke up with people singing , chatting outside in the street quite late at night or I should say early hours of morning. I have videos of that and can attach. Overall not great.

The hotel was comfortable, clean and well located. The check in is only open until 6pm and whilst they offer free wi-fi I couldn’t find the code anywhere.

A lovely quirky place in a great location, with lots to see and do. Very reasonable price too. The electronic key was very handy. The only thing was ideally having 24hr concierge. If this could be made more clear it might help, but also point out that the electronic key system works for the front door and your room door. This would help people know what they have to do for certain.

Easily one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. The only down side is that the front desk closes at 6pm. This means if you lock yourself out, need a fresh towel, etc you are stuck with either bugging the restaurant manager or waiting til morning.

Hotel is lovely, room is very nice and great location. We really struggled as weather was very hot and one of the reasons for choosing this hotel was having air-con. Ours didn’t work and even after reporting it they did not have anyone look at it. We could not breathe in the room and left the front door open where possible just to get some air.

Second stay at aparthotel Oberza, such a gem. The staff are lovely and extremely helpful. Every room is different with lots of fun and unique touches. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Hot shower with good pressure, the provided slippers are appreciated. Breakfast is very good, I need the recipe for their plum cake (heavenly). Historic area with lots of cafes and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Poland!

Got food poisoned in the restaurant, unpleasant stuff and dirty room: found a whole nail on the bathroom floor. Food was bad, like really disappointingly bad both breakfast and the proper restaurant. I got bad food poisoning from it. Won’t be coming back. Krakow is amazing and full of lovely hotels, this wasn’t one of them

It would have been good to know that there was no cleaning of the rooms. We had no problems with not having our rooms cleaned but we had Some litter and there was only one really small litter box in the room. Except for that we where very satisfied, really nice rooms and the interior in the hotel was very nice.

Gem of a hotel, lots of character, a very well run family business. Spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Staff very friendly and helpful. The Old Town in Krakow May be the heart of the city, but it beats in Kazimierz where this hotel is located. Lots of restaurants and bars located nearby although the hotel is on a quiet street.

Thrilled to have stumbled upon the gem that is Aparthotel Oberza - we were unsure what to expect when we initially booked as the price was incredibly low for our 7 night stay (around £30 a night & I wouldn't have considered staying in a UK hotel as cheap as this! But, the hotel is amazing. A lovely, unique,family owned boutique hotel in the heart of the historic Jewish Quarter, oozing with character and with some of the best restaurants you will find in Krakow on its door step. From the warmth of the greeting by the lovely receptionist when we first arrived, to the beautiful room, onsite excellent restaurant (try the pork chop which at less than £6 was sensational!!) everything about our stay here was wonderful. Your a 5/10 minute stroll to Wawel Palace, 15 mins to the Historic Old Town, Schindlers Factory is a 20 minute walk and you really are in the heart of the beautiful Kazimierz when you stay here. You are spoilt for choice with bars and restaurants on your doorstep, (visit the Singer Bar & yry the lasagna in the Warsztat restaurant its amazing) though this being said you dont hear a peep from the outside world once youre in the hotel. Trips to Auschwitz, Saltmines, Eagles Nest tour, Zakopane etc can all be arranged to collect from your hotel - we used MrShuttle.com who were excellent and offer airport transfers to! Don't hesitate to stay here, you will have a wonderful time - we will be back when we visit Krakow again!

Centrally located, helpful staff and the best part, i wanted to get a cab to go to the train station and for different reasons none of the apps worked, well the owner checked my ticket and told me, i will take tou right now, to ensure that you can catch the train. Fabulous boutigue hotel with lots of character, great food and within easy walking distance to the Jewish quarter, Old town and the pick up points for out of town trips to Auschwitz and the Salt mines. Staff are very friendly and helpful and rooms very clean and well maintained. Points to note, there is no tea/ coffee making facilities but bottled water supplied daily and rooms to the front of the hotel may have some street noise. A great find and one I would recommend and return to when next visiting Krakow.

Location great - obviously in Jewish quarter but only 10-15 mins to ghetto / schindlers factory / Vistula side and 15-20 mins to Wavell / old town. Plenty of bars/ restauaranrs etc. Hotel very quaint, staff very friendly and helpful. Only niggles, as these are minor, were pillows flat as pancakes, oven little grimey so didn’t feel wanted to use and sofa bed designed that bottom sheet just sits on it, rather than having fitted so just kept coming off. These are minor things and wouldn’t stop me recommending the hotel or area.

Stayed in room 11 which is at the front, the rooms definitely have a unique charm and ours was generally comfortable. We had no fridge to keep drinks cool but this is minor. The bar in the courtyard garden was priced well and the waiters were efficient and personable, the underground part of the restaurant fits well. The staff are beyond helpful and really couldn't to more for us, recommending places to see, eat and drink, even arranging an early breakfast so we could enjoy a trip out. The location is close enough to walk around all of Kazimierz comfortably.

I can not praise the reception staff enough as they were so helpful. About 15 minutes steady walk to the old town area, but excellent location for exploring the Jewish Quarter with its synagogues, churches, bars, cafes and interesting shops. Great value for money. On the slightly negative side you have to remember there is no lift and there are 3 floors. (4 if you include the part of the restaurant in the cellar) so disabled access may be an issue.

Overall a good hotel, stylish and thought given to the decor. Very conveniently located and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. However, unfortunately the one thing you hope for in a hotel is a good nights sleep and the room we were in (the delux apt on the top floor) was situated right next door to the hotel laundry room which meant that (understandably) cleaners were working in there and machines being used from early morning. They were right next to the bedroom and so every word and sound could be heard. Sadly, therefore, of the 5 nights we stayed I didn't manage one good nights sleep. Therefore, although I thought it was on paper a lovely hotel, I wouldn't stay here again.

Unfortunately our double room was very small with access to one side of the bed extremeley difficult. No wardrobe and only 1 coat hanger each. Friendly, helpful staff who were always on hand to help. Will return however we will ensure we book a larger room.

This hotel is in the jewish quarter but off the main square so we found sleeping easy because it was so quiet, the bar and restaurant next to the hotel were excellent, with authentic polish food, we really enjoyed the market square with its food stalls, it only took 15 minutes to walk to the old town.

It is hard making a decision looking at pictures of a hotel. Not know Warsaw, we were not sure if the location would be ok. We were pleased with our location. We were in walking distance to many things to see. The staff was always there for you. For such a small hotel, someone was on duty at the desk 24 hrs a day to let you in. The only thing, driving in Poland the city hotels are not set up for cars. You have to get a parking tickets for on street parking between certain areas- most start at 8 am and ends at different times in the evening- I got a parking ticket because I did not see a post and parked for 24 hours,

Second visit to Krakow and this hotel and think this will become our go to hotel for future visits. Ideally located in the Kazimierz - Jewish District of Krakow, which is full of great bars and restaurants. Also only a 10 min or so walk to the main market square.

Was picked up from the airport by the hotel, in a lush Mercedes. So simple and cheap to use. Absolutely beautiful hotel. Rooms were a little small but we were fine with that. Slippers etc. in the room were a nice touch. The restaurant attached to the hotel was fantastic, and with 10% off if you stay at the hotel, such good value for money. The girls on reception were really helpful, and booked restaurants for us as well as trips.

The hotel is in a brilliant location and is absolutely stunning. You are a 15 minute walk from the old town and only a 2 minute walk from numerous bars and restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our pick up from the airport and to was arranged by the hotel which made travelling really easy. It was also at an extremely good price. We booked the Auschwitz tour through the hotel which was a little more expensive but you were picked up at the door and dropped back off there which the other tour providers did not offer so I think the expense is worth it. You receive 10% off the restaurant next door which was excellent for food. Very comfortable room, and very quiet. We shall definitely be returning to Krakow, and we will be staying here again. Thank you to all the staff.

This is a lovely property in a great area. Service was fantastic at the hotel particularly at reception. The rooms have great character. The downside is that there is no elevator and so it makes it a property that is not suitable for those with limited mobility. We arrived saturday evening and were quickly shown to our room. Great size room really comfy, bathroom smelt a bit odd, strong chemical smell all weekend but nice enough regardless.

This hotel is in a great neighbourhood, although it can be very noisy, especially if you have a room facing the street. To the hotel's credit, however, ear plugs are provided in this regard.
