Friendly staff went out of their way to clean the room for us even though we arrived before check in hours. Washer and kitchen are convenient for a family. There are plenty of food options from food trucks to fancy restaurants. I liked that my kids had their own room.

Great location and place and good value for the money. Glad we ended up on the 1st floor as there are no elevators so dragging the luggage up the stairs was a chore. Surprised that no shampoo or conditioner was provided. The beds were ok - not enough pillows though. Overall good experience.

Really good affordable option in a fascinating and quirky neighbourhood steeped in history. Location is perfect, everything we wanted was within walking distance and the building itself must contain a fascinating tapestry of history.
To be slightly pernickety it would have been good to have some toiletries and bottled water/ snack options in the appartment to arrive to, even if it meant paying slighlty more for the room. Coming off a budget flight at midnight with minimal baggage this would have been appreciated. Overall though, excellent.

First note on this place is that they are located in a Great area in the Jewish quarters. The area is vibrant, loaded with restaurants and pubs, and is is a short distance from Old Town.
Unfortunately the apartment did not live up to expectations. The booking on Expedia shows that there is air conditioning in the apartment. There was not any air conditioning on the hottest days in Poland. Well above the 90 degrees. When we asked about it the front desk apologized and said our apartment was the only one with AC. He stated the websites show that when booking. I double checked and it shows comfort includes AC.
The beds are quite firm. Not really the most comfortable to sleep on. But they did fulfill having a place to sleep.
The shower head just needs to be replaced. The water comes out anyway it wants. Good news is there is a good working washing machine in the bathroom. There is a set of rods in the bath room to hang laundry.
In all if you are looking for a cheap place to sleep and be able to save money by cooking on your own then this place works. You can sleep 6 people in the two rooms.

Apartment was very clean, well supplied with kitchen equipment. Air con cooled the whole apartment greatly despite only being in the hall-way. Check-in was easy at 2am! via the apartment's good communication. Dual aspect main bedroom. Couple of niggles by way of wifi kept disconnecting and sound of the bins in the street being emptied each early morning. Apartment is in a great historic nieghbourhood with lots to do.

Just like two days ago check in was quick and easy. The young girl at reception was ver nice just like Bozena the other night. Another gentleman who was working ask if I needed help with my bags and offered helpful advice. The apartment is exceptional. Had everything I could possibly need or even want. I will be back again. May even stay tomorrow if they have an available apartment. Great place to stay when in Kraków 🇵🇱.

AMAZING! Love this place! It's in the Jewish Quarter where all the cool cafes are and it's a close walk to the river!! They room was spacious and bed was comfortable! My son and I loved the area, the reception was kind and helpful! We would absolutely stay here again! It's about a 10 min walk to Old Town but this is the neighborhood to stay in!! SO GOOD!

Staff were friendly and very helpful. Our 2 bedroom apartment was clean and spacious, perfect for our short stay in Krakow. Supermarkets were within a short 5 min walk away and lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. It was fairly lively in the evening but the noise didn't bother us at all. When it was time for bed we simply shut the windows which blocked almost all the noise from the surrounding restaurants etc. Would definitely stay here again!

We arrived after 4 pm and so we tried to call the number on the plaque next to the door. Turned out we dialed it wrong. Fortunately, the staff at Fabryka Pizzy helped us out, and we got in.
It is NOT a hotel. It is an apartment, and we stayed there for two weeks while we toured around Kraków and southern Poland. You will need to make your own eating arrangements for each day. I bought more food than I needed for my family and we had a lot left over, so be sure to plan your meals well ahead. There are many good places to eat in Kazimierz, and throughout Kraków. For Grocery shopping there are some smaller corner markets in the area. For more major grocery shopping, there are a couple of shopping malls that have bigger grocery stores, such as Auchan and Carrefour.
The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was fine, and includes a washing machine that we took advantage of. Since we arrived in late July, we used the fans that we're provided. The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and just about everything one should need for cooking. We brought our own blender from home for my wife to make smoothies, so perhaps that may be something that the Apartments could invest in for each room. The gas stove requires a match or lighter to ignite, and is not self igniting.
The apartment manager was very helpful when it came to understanding parking, helping arrange a tour, and ordering a taxi to take my family to the airport.

The Apartments are very dated in decor but look past that and you have a very spacious place to live for however long you visit. The kitchen is fully equipped and you have all the amenities you need including fresh towels which they don’t advertise in what’s included in your room. The location is 18 mins away from main square which is good and Taxi’s are cheap if you can’t be bothered to walk.

Great place - but beware early morning noise!

Immaculately clean & well equipped for self-catering stay; great area to be in - lots of restaurants, pubs, places of interest. But woken every morning by very loud bottle & refuse-collecting lorry outside. Clearly not the fault of the owners, but early morning noise a real problem!

What a great place and perfect location.\n

Our room was on the 3rd floor and had the terrace outside perfect for our smoker. The apartment was very clean and perfect for our stay. If you struggle with stairs the top apartment isn't for you. The apartment has everything you need, towels, hair dryer, a nice compact kitchen if you wanted to make coffee tea etc.

the staff were very helpful and arrange taxis to pick us up and take us back to the airport. They even helped to organise Auschwitz Tours if needed.

Great option for young family

The apartment worked perfectly for us, a family with two kids, 6 and 4, staying for a week. It was quite small but very well equipped and clean, and the staff were very helpful. The rooms were bright and looked out over the picturesque street. It's a big nightlife area but the double glazing took care of the noise. The best thing about it is the location, right in the middle of Kazimierz and surrounded by historical sights and dozens of great, child-friendly bars and restaurants. Most have big gardens for the kids to roam around. Also very close to the river and 10 minutes walk to the castle and old town.

Stayed 2 nights in Krakow. We walked to the apartment from the train station which took about 30 minutes. Apartment was clean and comfortable. 15 minute walk to centre of old town and lots of great restaurants nearby. Staff were lovely.

Perfect option in Jewish Quarter

The apartment gave me plenty of space and a very comfortable stay. I wish I could have stayed more than 3 days. Fantastic food nearby and very special feeling being in the Jewish Quarter, an area with a special and moving history. Only a few blocks from Schindler's factory, which has been turned into a modern museum with Jewish history.

I'd definitely stay here again.

Great location downtown near many restaurants.

This is basically an apartment. It is an excellent idea when traveling with a large group or family. We were very comfortable with a party of five in their two bedroom apartment called the \"German Apartment.\" The apartment was very clean. If there was anything to complain about it would be the heat. It just so happened that there was a heat wave in Krakow the days that we were staying. The Hotel staff was accommodating supplying us with fans witch worked well.

Lovely little gem this apartment was. Located right in the heart of Kazimierz Jewish district and walking distance to the river. Surrounded by plenty of quirky bars and restaurants. Full cooking facilities allow you to stay in after a tired touring day out. The only thing is that there is no room cleaning throughout the 5 nights I stayed. I had to throw out the rubbish myself and the floor needed a good hoovering. Nevertheless I would highly recommend this apartment.

A Weekend in Krakow

We had a GREAT stay at Kazimierz. The apartments are on a great street with great bars/restaurants/cafes - we never went hungry or thirsty! The hotel staff were kind enough to book a cab for us from and to the airport as well as organise a driver for the day to take us to/bring us back from Auschwitz. The room was comfortable (although quite a bit TOO hot overnight - but we adjusted the heaters to suit us!) Great little kitchen with all the necessities (coffee, tea, sugar) and the bathroom was lovely and clean. It was a great place to stay - can't recommend it more highly!

Excellent stay!

The Kazimierz's Secret apartments were excellent. The building is located right in the centre of the Jewish quarter in Krakow. There is a nice atmosphere around and many restaurants, bakeries, live music etc. Also a grocery store is close by. The apartments are about a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Krakow and the Cloth Hall etc. The walk is easy and interesting and also the trams are not far if you prefer that. The apartment itself is very very clean, has all the amenities inside (kitchen, fully well equipped etc.). The apartment building is 3 floors with apartments on each floor (please note there is not an elevator). The building is very secure so no worries there. The front office staff are excellent and accommodated an early check in and late check out to coincide with our train schedule into and out of Krakow which was highly appreciated. We highly recommend these apartments and if we are lucky enough to travel to Krakow again we will definitely stay here again and recommend to others who visit Krakow.

Exceptionally clean room / apmt, it was spotless. Nice roomy apmt made up of , kitchenette, bathroom, two bedrooms ( one of which i suspect is a lounge when only two persons staying but there were 4 of us). It was about 10mins walk to the castle and then another 5 mins walk to the main square. The area itself - the Jewish quarter- was awash with restaurants, bistro's, bars, beer gardens all within 1 min walk from hotel. In fact a nice beer garden directly over the road and on the ground level of the hotel two restaurants. An exceptionally vibrant area that came alive at night, loads of people around and lots of outside seating, pavement cafe's etc. Only slight downside is that it could be quite noisy at night when trying to sleep but a minor issue outweighed by the ambience of the area. Great city to visit - relatively cheap, beer ranging from £1.40 - £2 and excellent apartment in a vibrant part of the city. Would use this accomodation again and would recommend it.

Perfect apartments with comfortable beds, dining tables and chairs, a mini kitchen with all utensils, lovely shower room including washing machine. All impeccably clean, well laid out and with loads of storage space. Tea and Illy filter coffee provided, as was sugar, and local stores available for milk, which can be kept in the fridge. Situated right in the heart of the old Jewish Quarter, which itself is amazing, and with plenty of bars and restaurants close (and a 25 minute stroll into the City square), it is absolutely perfect for exploring Krakow, and superb value.

As title says the apartments were spotlessly clean with everything you could reasonably ask for. Great location in the Jewish Quarter with a number of excellent restaurants and bars nearby. The 'superior' apartment whilst nice has a smoking terrace right outside the door which could lead to late night noise and disturbance.

ideal location in the heart of kazimierz

Fantastic location in the heart of kazimierz near to places of historic and cultural interest. Also ideal for some great places to eat and fantastic bars including Singer and Alchemilla.
Clean comfortable and really warm which was important for a visit at this time of the year. Kitchen ideal for rustling up breakfasts and snacks - important when traveling with teenagers - and a coffee maker and some decent ground coffee was a pleasant surprise.
Good communication and Michael met us a the airport and arranged a trip for us.

Good apartment for quiet singles and couples.

This apartment building was top-notch. The amenities were all there, and the furnishings were in excellent condition. The location is in an up-and-coming area of Krakow, and thre are plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes, and transport nearby.
The manager, Michael, was quite pleasnt and helpful. The apartments are best for quiet, non-partiers. Not so great for kids as there are lots of stairs to climb and security doors to navigate.

we would stay here again. there was only one negative: the beds and sofa were very hard and took some time to get used to. the amenities were more than adequate. information on the washer, tv etc and general info should have been in one binder. weekend arrivals need better info since the office is closed. we came from Warsaw by trian so detailed info about tram connections would have been useful. everyone was very helpful. we enjoyed our visit very much. we stayed one week.

The apartments are in an choice situation, near to the square with it's great choice of restaurants and in easy walking distance of the central market place. My apartment was roomy, very clean and well equipped. The whole building was very well cared for. It was excellent value.

There was one small glitch. Because the building does not have a full time receptionist I had to ring when I arrived and wait for someone to come and let me in. I believe it was a rare event, probably caused by the airline giving incorrect information.

The apartment was convenient, pleasant and excellent value. I would certainly recommend it.

A small, friendly and convenient hotel in Kazimierz, Krakow. Very handy for the many and varied bars, cafes and restaurants in this area. Only a 25 minute walk to the Market Square, less to the Wavel. We had a bedsit that was quite comfortable. Bathroom clean, functional and with hot, hot water. Tea and coffee provided. Stayed 2 years ago in a one bedroom, which had a washing machine.

What an excellent place to stay

We had absolutely no idea of what to expect as we had never travelled to Poland before. Our apartment, which my sister and I stayed in, was immaculately clean and provided the essentials for our stays; tea, coffee, sugar etc. The bathroom was a good size and was again very clean with fresh towels, soap etc. The area was incredible. It was vibrant without being too noisy at night and you were near enough to restaurants and cozy bars and bookshops. It took us about 15/20 minutes to walk into the main town.
The staff at the apartment were incredibly helpful and spoke perfect English. They would have arranged tours for us had we needed them to and were more than happy to book a taxi for us and be there for our every need.
We were both highly delighted and cannot wait to come back again- would recommend on all fronts.

Great Lodging Option in Kazimierz

Had a wonderful stay at Kazimierz Secret Apartments in Krakow. Our initial apartment was a spacious two bedroom with a full bathroom, complete with washing machine, and kitchen. The apartment was well appointed and inviting. Our second apartment (after a brief stay out of town) was less impressive, if only for the reason that one of the twin beds in the smaller room seemingly had a lingering urine odor from a prior occupant. Not exactly pleasant. Overall, though, we had a great stay - friendly front desk staff (their hours aren't great, though...the office is closed by 4pm, so you have to call them if you're checking in later than that), newly renovated rooms, and a great neighborhood (although the local bars can get kind of loud). I'd stay here again.

Perfect apartment in great location

The apartment we had was fantastic, everything you need in a brilliant location. The apartment was extremely clean and had all the facilities you might need for a relaxing stay in the wonderful city of Krakow. It's location, in a quiet street in the Kazimierz district, was within a few yards of some fantastic restaurants and bars. The main tourist attractions of Market Square and Wawel Hill are a short 10-15 minute walk. All in all highly recommended.

What a Gem!

This was our first time in Krakow and we weren't familiar with the city, but staying in the Kazimierz neighborhood was absolutely the best. Along with the great location, the apartment and facility was exceptional - very clean, updated, and aestheically pleasing. The staff was very helpful in getting some tours arranged for us and attending to our needs. I would recommend this venue with no reservations and would definitely stay there again.

Highly recommend - would visit again.

Had a fantastic stay at these apartments. Location was great and the apartment was first class. Clean, modern and well equipped. Can't fault it. Staff were very helpful too. I would love to go back to this wonderful city and would certainly stay there again.

Great place to stay.

Great alternative to a hotel. Interesting area. Roomy apartment, new and modern in an old building. If arriving late need a telephone to call for entrance. Cab ride from the train station less than $10.

It Really is as Nice as People Have Been Saying

We stayed at Kazimierz in October 2010, and it is absolutely as nice as people say. We stayed in an apartment for 4 people on the top floor, which gave us nice (if not perfect) views of the surrounding city. The apartments have all been renovated seemingly in the recent past, and while the apartments aren't luxurious they are very pleasant and clean. Our apartment was equipped with a simple kitchen (no oven), and not only included the basics (plates, glasses, forks,etc) but some nice-to-have's like hot water for tea or coffee. The bathroom and shower were nice, and our apartment even had a washing machine for laundry. The layout of our apartment was two bedrooms, each with a TV, a kitchen, bathroom, and small entryway. One of the bedrooms doubled as the dining area.

Things to know:
In October our room was very quiet, but we could see how things might be noisier in the summer time as the apartments are located overlooking a somewhat lively, mostly pedestrian street. Also, there is no elevator so be prepared to have to climb a few flights of stairs every day. We stayed at the apartment just for a few days on vacation, but we easily would have felt at home living at the apartment for an extended trip. It almost felt like our new \"Krakow home\".

Kazimierz's Secret Apartments-Good Location

The apartments are in a good location, great for young couples, plenty of restaurants/bars. It is within walking distance of all major attractions. the apartments are clean and tidy with all facilities. There check in procedure is not great and there is no where to store your bags if you have a late flight.It can aslo be very noisy as it is located off a busy side street The staff are not very helpful and maybe even a bit intrusive. Overall I think it was good vaue for money, but then again most places in Krakow are good value anyway

Fantastic accomodations @ a reasonable price

We loved our stay at the Kazimierz apartments in Sept 2010. The location is close to everything. We walked all over the city and were just a 15 minute walk to the magnificient central square. The apartment was so very clean and had a microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, and electric tea pot. There is a small refrigerator and freezer ,and a table that seats three people for meals. The room was so bright and cheery looking with a TV and DCD player. We loved the shower/bath. The bed was so very comortable too.. Alex the hotel manager was terrific. He was there when we arrived and gave us a great orientation to the city. We loved our trip to Krakow. The apartment is in a great part of town with lots of neat restaurants, cafes, and funky shops nearby. . We were within walking distance of the new Oscar Shindler museum (this is a must see). We'd also advise a trip to the salt mines, and if one feels up to it, a day trip to Aushwitz .We look forward to returning.

Excellent apartments in vibrant area

Excellent place in a great location. The room was large and comfortable and we were lucky to be on top floor and have the terrace outside our door. The facilities provided in the room were good. The kitchen was smallish but well equipped - we didn't use it though as there are so many places to eat in Kazimierz anyway! Would definitely recommend the place to others who might not normally consider getting something away from the Market Square.

Just a great little place.

These apartments are wonderful, fully stocked kitchen, applicances and furniture are new. Internet worked great. There is a locked door and gate so you feel very safe. This area had lots of bars restaurants and night life, but not seedy nightlife, it was very nice to walk around day or night and very close to the city center. Bring your own bath soap and shampoo, this is your apartment.

Absoloutely excellent. Recently done up and painted. Very Clean. Location excellent and safe, and is very much the trendy area with loads of restaurants and bars.Very humid, no air-conditioning but thankfully 2 small fans which helped greatly. Highly recommended and excellent value.

Spotless apartment and friendly staff

The apartment was very well equipped with even tea, coffee and some toiletries supplied. It was absolutely spotless with everything in good working order. There were loads of very good restaurants, bars and cafes in the surrounding streets and the tram car was not far away.
My room was on the 4th floor (no lift, but I was helped with my luggage) and it was on the street above a nightclub. There was a fair amount of noise one night up to 11.00 pm, but then everything went quiet, so that was fine.
When I was there it was around 35 degrees on a few of the days and the room (with no air con) was very hot, but it was quite bearable and I slept very well.
I had a wonderful stay and would go back there again if I was planning to stay for a week or longer but not for a short stay as finding the necessary groceries to prepare meals was not so easy. Kazimierz is also great, very safe and has a lot of cheap lovely places to eat or visit, but it does still retain the atmosphere of lives abandoned which can get a little depressing at times.
Fabulous value for the price - very impressed!

Best to Keep it a Secret

We loved our stay so much at Kazimierz's Secret Apartments that I am hesitnat to tell others for fear it will be booked up the next time we go! The location was very convenient to all the major sites and surrounded by a public market, shops, bars and resturants, including a great artisan pizza place next door! The apartment we had was on the top floor which was the best/worst thing about it. Since there is no elevator, we had to hike up the stairs which will be tough if you are not in good shape. (I am not but I made it) However, we had a large quiet two room plus kitchen an bath with a nice view, and access to a private terrace, so it was worth it. The apartment was very clean and everything we needed to prepare home meals was there (although we usually ate out.) Poland is a tremndous value. We are in Paris now, and Poland was about half the cost. The staff was attentive (but this is not a hotel with 24 hour desk) You save a lot by being able to keep cold drinks in the frig, and by having cereal for the kids in the am. The apartment was very spacious by European standards. We will surely go back.

Fabulous!

A great find! The most well equipped efficiency apartment we have ever rented. Down to the grater and cleaning supplies. GREAT neighborhood. Friendly office staff. And washing machine included! Good eats and easy access from neighborhood. Apartment comfortable for our family of 4--including two teenage girls! DON'T miss the bakeries. Super value in this quaint, generous efficiency.

Late night revelers keep no secrets.

These apartments are recently renovated and meticulously maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped. We had Internet access. We were a short walk from the sites. Unfortunately, Kazimierz has apparently become the place to party - so sleep is interrupted by the loud conversation and singing that you can only appreciate when you're the one out drinking 'til dawn. So - I'd recommend this place for a day when it's too cold outside for the drunks or at least cool enough that you wouldn't mind shutting the windows.

PERFECT! This place is better than I ever imagined. Close to transport, close to shops and restaurants, nice neighborhood, and the staff was VERY nice. BEST apartment i have ever stayed in. period. I can not recommend this place highly enough. When i return to Krakow, i WILL stay here again.

Great location in an atmospheric road. Fantastically helpful and friendly reception staff. But the apartment was uncomfortable with very hard beds and not a decent chair to sit in. Not the type of place to flop in and relax!

Excellent family accommodation in a great area!

A brilliant way to visit Krakow: the hotel is in the heart of the vibrant, bohemian jewish quarter, and not far from Wavel Castle. The apartment was spotless, and had everything you need to self cater. Having broadband access was especially useful. The staff were unobtrusive but helpful when asked. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting this great city.

good location 10minutes walk to castle and bang in centre of old jewish district which has a selection of good bars and restaurants. Newly refurbished Room 6 on 2nd floor was quiet and had all conveniences including microwave, washer, ironing board and iron, hairdryer. sat tv, radio, 2hob rings, frig. Area and accommodation was v safe and secure. Cannot fault anything.

15 min from center. Call in advance your arrival time. ( limited office hours) Bring some breakfast supplies. Near some very good small restaurants. Rooms in the front are noisy by late night revellers. Overall very recommendable for the budget minded travellers. Being an apartment, you make your own beds.

Excellent Facility and location

Great location, plenty of good restaurants nearby so no real need to head into the main square in the evening. Handy for tram and local buses. Can walk to the local Jewish history including Schidlers factory. Also not too far to walk to the castle. We walked from apartment to the town centre and around the planty, overall it took about 2 hours walking in total without any stops. Great trip recommend to anyone

Very pleased we made this choice rather than a hotel.

Quiet location in an interesting and \"up and coming\" area. Felt safe at night (up to 11pm anyway. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby, but no night noise disturbances. A good base for exporing the Old Town (20 mins walk) and the Jewish Quarter. Very well-equiped and the washer/dryer and drying rack were most useful as we were moving on elsewhere. A practical choice for anyone needing a few days \"catch-up\" while on tour. Free parking opposite (even spaces in August). Very helpful reception staff.
