Everything about Trip Inn was perfect. Breakfast was awesome- American sized cups of coffee, variety of breads & jams, yogurts and traditional European-fare. Room was great. Staff was considerate and helpful! About the only negative I can say, our bathroom was really tiny! The other member of our party had a much larger bathroom, each room is different.

Convenient location and great breakfast

Very convenient, other than the fact that it was hard to find from the tram stop by following Google maps directions, due to all the road construction. It didn't impact on my stay at all, however. Very convenient, good wifi, lovely breakfast!

Just one night stay. The buffet breakfast is wonderful, the staff are very friendly and helpful. But there is no air-conditioning, it was 30 degree that day, hard to sleep. The shower drain was blocked.

Hotel centro is very good. The hotel is decorated in a mature design.everything was clean and tidy. The room was spacious with comfy bed,leather sofa, tv,table and chairs etc.The only minus is the bathroom, although nicely fully tiles and furnished. Is a bit on the small size,if it's 50%
bigger then ir would be perfect.

Staff was very helpful. Location was good. Breakfast is good too. The room was pretty clean but there was a dust around scales (not working) in the bathroom and i found a cockroach after i move the scales. Refrigerator included but not a kettle.

Decent place at a very competitive price and with exceptionally friendly staff. Our room was sufficiently large and very clean. However, with a main street just outside the window and no A/C, it was either too warm or too loud to sleep really well. It's probably a good idea to pay extra for a room not facing the street. They offer a basic breakfast and have a sauna in the basement. The location is really good, city center is but a short walk away.

Kriegsstrasse is under reconstruction, construction worker's noise starts as early as 7am. The room is without air conditioner and fan does not help when the temperature is above 30 degrees. Otherwise, the hotel is excellent and it features a nice hot sauna free of charge. Breakfasts are also delicious. Proximity both to the train station and to the city center (half-way) is also an important asset for staying here.

It happened that my one-week stay was at a time in the summer that had 35+ Celsius every day. I agonized and regret enormously not double checking there is air conditioning in the room. However, as the rooms face south and there's nothing in between the hotel and a busy multiple-lanes road, air conditioning is a must even in lower degrees!

Good value centrally located in Karlsruhe

Very happy with the hotel.
Friendly receptionist. Just a short walk to the centre of Karlsruhe where there are lots of shops and restaurants. Bedroom was clean and with a massive TV.
Good choice of breakfast.
Only comment was that it was very definitely a single room, but for the low price wasn't a problem.

Something different!

If you like Travelodge beige, stop reading now! This former brothel has kept it's character, but not in a grubby way. The fixtures and furnishings are definitely ott, but this is it's charm - it's definitely different. If you look carefully, there are signs of wear and tear in places, but the furniture in our room looked virtually new and the bed was very comfortable with good quality linen. As for practicalities, it is very handy for both rail and bus stations. Perhaps the only slight downside is the lack of a lift, but this isn't a problem unless you have mobility difficulties. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is the usual selection, though it did vary from day to day. The area is mainly Turkish/Kurdish and so has a real buzz of activity during the day, but being Muslim, the locals do not stagger around in drunken groups at night, so it's peaceful for sleeping. Despite this, bars and restaurants of many types are within a few minutes walk. Definitely the best place I've ever stayed in Hamburg!

This hotel had a good location and it is in a very pretty building. My room was big and had a nice view of the street below but it had a really bad smell to it. It was a bit hard to breathe for the first hour. I tried to change my room but there were no other rooms available. The wifi was also very weak and barely worked. On the plus side the free breakfast was very nice and the room where breakfast is served is very pretty.

Lad mig starte med det positive: Sengetøjet var rent og medarbejderne var venlige, morgenmaden var acceptabel. Og så det negative: badeværelserne var ikke rene, der var sort mug i hjørnerne og når man lukkede brusekabinen. Der bliver ikke gjort rent i hjørnerne, hverken i badeværelse eller værelse. vi fandt både hår og gammelt toiletpapir på gulvet i badeværelset. Der er ingen madrasbeskytter på madrasserne, bare et tyndt lagen. Madrassen i det ene værelse havde blodpletter. Bruseren i det ene værelse sprøjtede vand i alle retninger. Bygning og værelser var generelt meget slidt. Der lugtede af røg, maskeret af store mængder parfume.

Avoid at all cost

Avoid this hotel at ALL costs. I booked two rooms for five people — one triple and one double. However, upon arrival, one of the rooms (Room 43) had an absolutely unbearable smell, like something had died in there. It was disgusting.

We immediately reported it to the receptionist, who offered to move us to another room — but it was only a single. So, instead of the triple and double rooms I paid for, we ended up squeezing five people into a double and a single. This is completely unacceptable.

Worse still, in the single room, there were exposed electrical cables (I’ve attached a picture). My 2-year-old child touched them and almost got an electric shock. This is not just a matter of comfort — this is a serious safety hazard.

The entire hotel smells bad, is not clean, and looks absolutely nothing like the photos online. Those must have been taken 20 years ago when the place was new. Now, it’s old, run-down, and dirty.

We weren’t the only ones complaining — we saw several other guests going to reception to sort out various issues. Clearly, this is not an isolated incident.

Bonus extra: mini fridge with mould in it (pictures showing)

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone — especially families with children. Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere.

My parents stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. It’s a good hotel for maybe an overnight, but not to stay any longer. The staff were friendly, but the hotel was very noisy. The walls are thin and at midnight or 3am you could hear people upstairs walking or talking loudly on their phones, and also people from outside shouting

The hotel offered sauna and gym facilities, but the sauna didn’t work at all and the gym is very small and it doesn’t have enough tools for a proper exercise.

There were no smokedetector in the room, this had been removed. We made the reception aware of this, yet they not do anything. No one refilled toilet paper or handsoap. The breakfast was not appetizing. The hotel had a bad smell to it. They also offered a babybed to our baby, but it did not have a mattress, so we could not use it. Our baby slept on the floor in a table we turned upside down. Overall we were not so happy with our stay. The WiFi did not work either. The hotel has a good location.

Hôtel bien situé dans le centre de Karlsruhe et accueil sympathique 24h/24. Un peu vieillot mais propre.
Cependant mon séjour a été gâché par la présence de punaises de lit dans ma chambre (n°16), qui m'ont piqué pendant la nuit. Je l'ai signalé à l'accueil pour qu'ils fassent le nécessaire. Le petit-déjeuner m'a été offert en compensation.

Dirty towels from the start that were simply hung back up instead of being changed (though I had put them on the floor to be changed), a horrible smell in the wardrobe, a shower that fell half apart when opening/closing, TV as well as half the lamps were not working, and so many more small things that just felt uncomfortable. For the price you can’t expect a luxury hotel but a basic level of cleanliness should be offered.. I’m not going to come back.

Positiv: Frühstück war sehr gut. Es gab alles was das Herz begehrt. Es ist sauber - beim Check-In. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel gleich um die Ecke. Das Personal ist freundlich, könnte aber durchaus eine Schulung vertragen was Sehenswürdigkeiten, Stadtführungen ect. betrifft. In der Hinsicht sind sie leider ahnungslos.
Negativ: Laut Internetbeschreibung werden die Zimmer täglich gereinigt. Dem ist leider nicht so. Nach der ersten Nacht hieß es: \"Das Housekeeping hat heute zeitig Feierabend gemacht weil es so schön warm war.\" Nach der zweiten Nacht teilte man mir mit, dass die Zimmerreinigung bei \"Bleibern\" erst nach 3 Nächten erfolgt. Ich habe aber wenigstens saubere trockene Handtücher an der Rezeption erhalten (unsere wollten einfach nicht trocknen). Ich erwarte wirklich keinen täglichen Handtuchwechsel und mein Bett kann ich auch allein machen, ein kleiner Hinweis im Zimmer neben den Wasserflaschen auf dem Tisch hätte genügt um die Gäste zu informieren dass die Zimmer momentan nicht täglich sondern erst nach 3 Tagen gereinigt werden - das würde schlechten Kritiken vorbeugen.
Ich arbeite selbst im Hotelgewerbe an der Rezeption. Ich weiß, dass wir an akutem Arbeitskräftemangel leiden. Aber den Gast so zu täuschen und noch zu behaupten, dass überall steht, dass die Zimmer erst nach 3 Tagen zwischengereinigt werden, finde ich persönlich nicht OK.
Zusammengefasst: Ich würde wieder dort übernachten. Jetzt weiß ich ja dass die Zimmer selten gereinigt werden.

Komfortables Hotel mit historischen Wurzeln, strategisch gelegen (fusslaeufig zur Stadtmitte, nahe an S-BahnHaltestelle zum Bahnhof, nahe an einem Einkaufszentrum , nahe an verschiedenen kleinen Restaurants und Cafes im Viertel, sehr zu empfehlen: Cafe Palaver- ueber einen Hofeingang vom Lidellplatz aus zu erreichen) ; angenehme Zimmer (besonders die Zimmer zum Hof/Garten sind sehr ruhig, die Zimmer die auf eine HauptverkehrsStrasse ausgerichtet sind, kann ich nicht beurteilen); sauber; komfortabel eingerichtet (etwas in die Tage gekommen, aber alles sehr passabel), Zimmer und Flure mit originalen, modernen Gemaelden dekoriert, Fruehstuecksraum mit original Jugendstiltheke & JugendstilFenster; Fruehstueck passabel; was mir gefehlt hat: keine Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer (aber man konnte durch die Rezeption Kaffee /Cappuccino etc. bekommen) kein ZimmerSafe, allerdings ein kleiner Kuehlschrank; Fahrradausleihe moeglich.

Freundliches Personal, nichts für kleine Leute. Das Lavabo und der Vergrösserungsspiegel erfordern eine Mindestkörpergrösse von 1.75 cm, damit sie ohne Nebenwirkungen gemäss ihrer vorgesehenen Funktion genutzt werden können. Auch der Duft im Zummer ist gewöhnungsbedürftig und nichts für empfindliche Nasen. Dafür Superlage, frische Früchte, reichhaltiges Frühstück mit gutem Kaffee, schöne Räumlichkeiten und - wie zu Beginn schon erwähnt, sehr freundliches Personal.

Unangenehmer Geruch im Zimmer. Zimmer und Bad wurden nicht gemacht. Schiefe Bilder, abgewohnte Einrichtung. Um Lampe auf dem Schreibtisch einzuschalten musste man andere Geräte erst abziehen. Fernseher ging schief. Bis auf Lobby und Buffet keine einladende Gestaltung. Personal am Desk allerdings freundlich.

- Preisleistung ist soweit in Ordnung
- Die Matratzen könnten besser sein
- Wieso oft werden auch hier die Duschtüren sowie die Luftschlitze an der Badtür nicht ordentlich geputzt.
- Der bezahlte Parkplatz beziehungsweise Garage nützt nicht viel wenn entweder Personal eine Reinigungsfirma die Garage zu parken beziehungsweise sogar der Hausmeister sich nichts dabei denkt seinen Wagen davor zu stellen. Mücken Kleinigkeiten sein aber man hat eben Die mühe jedes Mal den Fahrer zu suchen,Beziehungsweise mit dem nicht unbedingt deutschsprachigen Mitarbeiter der Fremdfirma als Hotelgast noch diskutieren muss, ein no go!!
Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausreichend wenn auch am zweiten Tag nicht rechtzeitig aufgefüllt wurde beziehungsweise das Aufbackbrot nicht fertig war, sollte nicht so passieren .

preisgünstiges älteres Innenstadthotel, gut aus allen Richtungen zu erreichen.
Freundliches Personal.
Ausreichend große Zimmer, aber sehr kleines Bad.
Frühstück recht einfach, aber volständig.
Gebäude ist in die Jahre gekommen. Einzelne Renovierungen (insbes. Malerarbeiten) sind teilweise laienhaft durchgeführt.
Ansonsten aber alles noch im \"grünen\" Bereich

Installation dans la chambre mais télécommande télé HS. Je le signale à l'accueil qui me surclasse sans discuter dans une chambre plus grande. Très commercial!
Chambre très calme sur cour et en bon état
Petit déjeuner buffet riche et de qualité
Pas déçu du rapport qualité prix!

Die alle staff im Hotel sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.wer möchte Hotel mit andere Style aber Klassik bleiben,muss ich dieses super Hotel empfehlen.

Die Möbel im Hotel sind fantastisch .die Hölze Tisch sind echt Hölz .Wir mögen dieses Hotel .Mein Partner hat Rücken problem,aber er haben Nächte sehr durch geschlafen.Morgen und Abend singen und wilkommen die Vögel uns.Sehr freidlich obwohl es in der Stadt findet.

Der Frühstück ist sehr ordentlich ,frish.Weisen Sie,dass es bei Frühstück mit sehr angenehne Musik gibt .In ander Hotel findet man nicht .

Wir haben Nächte bei Hotel parken.Wir finden sehr sicher,günstig, und praktisch ,dass der Parkplätze mit CCTV und Decke sind.Weil die Garage in der Nähe vom hotel kostet 19Euro für die ganze nacht.die Parkplatz für draußen in diese Gebiete kostet 4Euro per Stunden .Hier kostet nur 10Euro per Tag.Wunderbar.

Wir haben andere Hotel in andere große Sradt geblieben.Der draußen Garage kostet 18Euro per Nächte .das Hotel hat uns angebot gegeben.Es kostet 14Euro.

Woo ich finde,dass dieses Hotel sehr großzügig ist .es gibt uns günstig , sicher ,mit denke
Parkplatz.

man läuft ein paar Minuten ,es gibt nicht nur Supermärkte , Electronik Geschäft und Post,sondern auch die und unglaubliche schöne Sehenswürdigkeiten .

Wir würden gerne wieder kommen und unser Freund definitiv empfehlen.

Unser Aufenthalt war im großen und ganzen sehr angenehm, das Personal hat uns sehr höflich empfangen. Den Aufzug fanden wir für zwei Personen mit Gepäck sehr eng, jedoch kann man ihn ja im Notfall auch mehrmals verwenden. Das Zimmer war sehr aufgeräumt und alles was vorher versprochen wurde war auch tatsächlich dort. Es gab wenige Mängel an dem Zimmer. Zum einen fand ich die Dusche sehr eng, der Vorhang hing fast an mir fest. Dazu sind die Wände sehr dünn und man hat vor allem morgens Personen gehen hören. Bei dem Frühstück gab es genügend alternativen und auch genug für jeden. Wir wurden jeden Morgen satt, ich würde mir nur eine größere Auswahl an Obst wünschen (Bananen, Mandarinen). Getränke gab es auch genug. Wir fanden es ebenfalls sehr angenehm dass wir auch noch nach dem auschecken die Koffer im Hotel stehen lassen durften um sie, bis unser Zug daheim fuhr, nicht unnötig als Gepäck dabei hatten. Auch das Hygienekonzept scheint gut zu funktionieren, beim Frühstück konnten wir beobachten wie die Plätze immer gereinigt wurden und Protokoll über die Platzwahl gehalten wurde.

Bei Berücksichtigung Preis/Leistung gute Wahl; nettes und altes Hotel, hat Charme und ist nicht steril. Gutes Frühstück und nettes Personal; Matratze ziemlich durchgelegen, war ein Wermutstropfen.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.
Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend. Es ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber durch die schönen Buntglasfenster und tollen Bildern hat es ein besonderen Flair. Frühstück war absolut ausreichend.
