It's been awhile since I've stayed here and not much has changed. Enhancements would be great, and it doesn't look like they've done much to raise the excitement level. Breakfast is minimal. The one issue I had is they tried to charge me for the room that had already been paid through Expedia. I caught it and the clerk fixed it, but I'll check with my CC statement to be sure as I wasn't real confident about it. Also, amenity fee was added since I last stayed here, which is fine, but no extra amenities were actually given. Maybe it was the so-so breakfast, which would be on the high side if the $12 is to cover that. Not sure honestly what that fee goes for. Hotel is clean and no-frills. and allows for walking to the casino rather than having to drive.

Rooms need deep cleaning and major upgrades. We know the room was not vacuumed before we got there as there was a Fitbit watch in the middle of the floor. An electric outlet didn't have a cover over it, and dust was caked on the A/C vents and on the bathroom vents. The bedsheets were stained. The room had a slight mildew smell that never went away. And don't even think of having breakfast unless you like cereal and old bagels!

Disappointed restaurant hours were open for only few hours, very few amenities to do. Was advertised horse race hours and was not stated only online. Not enough available agents at front desk to check in waited almost an hour to check in. Room was clean and felt safe. There was no ventilation in the bathroom so it fogged up badly when I took a hot shower. I tried to call the front desk but got no answer.

Our stay was because we were tired and stumbled on to Zia. It was nice. Except, we went to the bar to crab a bite. It took q0 minutes just to get a menu. There were 2 gals. One behind the bar, in which she was busy in the kitchen. And another gal on the floor. She is lazy. She was busy with a bar patron that is a regular. She could've helped her colleague by asking is what we needed and simply hand us a menu and tell us her colleague was the one who can take our order. It was disappointing to see her stand around with her regular.
