Clean, well located hotel. Main pool and spa were closed for refurbishment during our brief stay but wasn't reason for visit it was proximity to event we were attending at zitadelle. Bed comfy, breakfast varied and tasty, overall good stay with good service, would stay again. Rooftop bar was nice touch.

The property was very nice, lots of amenities. The pool and gym looked great but I didn't have a chance to use them. The location was ok, bus stop nearby to get to the train station, all very convenient. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Only ate dinner 1 night, fod was very good. The rooms were clean. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

- Main reason for coming here was spa treatments to relax and release after a long trip, but even though I went directly to order treatment - there were No times available.
- Hence I had to go find a find local Thai in the near area. Are btw, is kind of “Dodgy” if you are walking in the direction away from the lake
- The internet is working in the Room but unstable everywhere else.
- The breakfast feels like a production Line and the variety is really less than for what I make at home myself. Just standard cheese and ham from the supermarket in small rationed sizes.
- It is not possible to get an “americano” coffee.
- Better breakfast & Coffee available at almost any quality baker (To find Allover the place in Berlin)
- I had to wear mask inside the pool area which is kind of ridiculous. Meanwhile my hands had to touch 4 Closed Doors and 1 elevator to reaching the restaurant and/or pool Area (how many people have had their fingers there?)
- The Doors and lockers work but They are quite unintuitive. You have to put card on, leave it out and wait for 1sec. Then pull the door back, while turning the special knob backwards. Then you Can push the door in (I’m on holiday, not a part time software programmer).
- There is really No spa - I couldn’t find any souna (maybe it was Well hidden).
- I bought this stay for a good relaxing end of the Berlin trip. It may be a hotel but definitely not a luxury spa experience.

I was very disappointed in the advertising of air conditioning in the rooms and my room didn't come with air conditioning. I was told I will have to upgrade(40 euros more) in order to have air conditioning. The pool and spa was unavailable due to convid19. This was not explained on this website or the property's website. This is unbecoming of a business. Communication is a must! Especially when someone is paying for services and not receiving such.

Polite and helpful staff on reception and the hotel was spacious and modern. The family room was really good sized, well equipped and spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and a huge bathroom with proper shower and bath. The restaurant had a good menu at reasonable prices and again the staff were super. Breakfast was extensive and staff were attentive and helpful in their service with coffee etc. The chef came out to prepare fried and scrambled eggs to order. The hotel also had a stunning pool and gym which was an added benefit. Parking available in the underground Car Park.

The hotel was nice - although we had to insist on moving our 3 x rooms booked as we were not given what we paid for upfront.
Eventually we got moved to nice rooms with double beds.
We booked the hotel further out of the city so we could enjoy the roof top terrace bar & the spar facilities - the spar was shut as they didn't have the staff to open it.
The spar we were not allowed to use unless we were prepared to take all items of clothing off!
The downstairs bar & restaurant was shut - I have never been to a hotel which has absolutely no bar at all.
The hotel was also much further out of the city than explained on the site - we spent a fortune on taxis as it was too long to get trains & trams into Berlin central.
Our whole party of 6 will never return to this hotel which is a shame.

Property and services are great. Fits the price range and I would say it is 5 star hotel. But hotel has total separation of SPA area and services. You need to get into bathrobe and slipper in the room and them go to the spa. Kind of strange and not comfortable during winter.
As for negative side: very noisy if you open a window due to airport near by. Early check out - 11. You cannot use facilities after check out. So this hotel does not worth the money if you plan to stay for one night. Got twin bed instead of double.

Reception check in / out was smooth.
Room descriptions are misleading - double bed is provided with two singles joined together with double sheets.
Breakfast good, don’t sit near balcony though the number of smoking guests smell enters the breakfast area - similarly the amount of smell / smokers at front entrance entry - you need to hold your breath and run.
Also you are not allowed into sauna unless you are naked !!
Good local for airport and city via train / subway - hotel can give u day tickets very reasonable

The hotel is situated under the flight path for Tegel airport and the room had no air conditioning. The room was too hot to sleep in without the window open so the plane alarm clock goes off at 6am.
Otherwise a pleasant hotel but a shuttle bus would be good to the local train station as it's over a mile away.

It’s the second time we have stayed at this hotel. It is 40-50 minutes from the airport by public transport. It has good food a close walk away aswell as a Lidl round the corner. The spa and gym is well equipped and well maintained. I am likely to stay at this hotel again, and look forward to coming back.

An ideal location for my requirements 20 from the airport and 20 minutes from Berlin centre by Taxi and a shopping mall and station 25 minutes walk away and a nice view of the river from the restraunt with balcony only thing I found I was didapointed wwith was the roof bar was closed due to it bbeen cold.

Very nice rooms - basic, but clean, tidy, well appointment and comfortable beds.

The Spa / Sauna area and pool are very, very nice.

The meals in the restaurant were excellent, and the Bar / Bistro is great.

The problem is noise outside the hotel.

Because there is no A/C in the building, if you want to cool down the room, you need to sleep with the window cracked, which is fine. The problem is that there apparently a frequently traveled ambulance corridor right along the hotel. Sirens and all, 24 hours a day. Also, at 6am on the dot, flights start at Tegel, whose flight path goes directly over the hotel. Even with the windows closed - they don't seal well enough to keep the noise out.

I believe the flights end around 10pm, but if you have a late night at all, plan to hear jets taking off for a 6am wakeup call. Every day.

The Wellness area is amazing and the reason for me to return the third time. After a long day fantastic place to relax. Rooms are average but clean. Plus is the tea-coffee option in the room. Bathroom is spacious and clean enough Towels.
I miss the bags the hotel provided for the towels and bath Accessoires guests take down to the wellness area. Area can be reached by bus and tube but better with car, otherwise consider 50 min. to city centre but wellness is worth it.

Beautiful location, pristine facilities

we stayed for a week, for my daughter's wedding. Centrovital is located close to everything, but not right in the thick of things - clean and quiet, with good public transportation available right outside their door. The pool and spa is very inviting, relaxing, and well maintained. We loved the sauna and terrace on the roof top! Breakfast buffet is to die for, I gained 4 pounds that week.

Great hotel from start to finish, from the initial welcome right through to the end of our 4 day stay the staff were excellent.

The hotel was very clean and to a very high standard, we only used the bar area during our stay but there as nice range of food, the currywurst was exceptional.

The reason we stay here was for the leisure facilities which were first class, a nice big pool, with a smaller pool next to it with a jacuzzi, the sauna was excellent with many different rooms to try.

A top class hotel, if I'm in Berlin again this is where I would stay.

A wonderful place to stay, once we got there.

We booked this hotel because it was close to an event we planned to attend, because it had a large swimming pool and because on the website they offered an airport shuttle services. After we booked the nonrefundable package we contacted the hotel and were advised that they DO NOT offer an airport shuttle service. They did give us directions on how to use the public transport system from Schonefeld Airport. These directions were incorrect because one of the stations we had to travel through was closed. Fortunately we checked with the information desk at the airport and they gave us good directions to the hotel.

The hotel itself was wonderfully clean and comfortable. The staff there were friendly and attentive and quite responsive to our requests.

The hotel includes a spa with the warm, 25-meter pool. We loved the pool and jacuzzi and used them several times over our three-night stay. There was a sauna which required mixed gender nudity. Not everyone is comfortable with that and I do wish there had been a sauna option for people who prefer to keep their bathing suits on.

The room was large and well-kept with a wonderfully comfortable bed. Tea/coffee service and a small refrigerator were included. The food provided by room service was quite tasty as well. We had the breakfast buffet included in our package and it was quite satisfying. They provided a good selection of cheeses, meats, eggs, breads, juices and cereals and other food.

We would happily stay here again.

Hotel was not in a central position which meant a lot of travelling but Public transport in Berlin is Excellent. Staff at the hotel were helpful and answered all queries efficiently. I cannot comment on the food as did not dine at the hotel at all as was mostly out sightseeing. Extremely reasonable price for the facilities available. Was on one of the flight paths to the airport but when you were inside you could not hear the planes. The shower in the room was good and had plenty of power which is unusual as normally that is the ne thing that lets hotels down. Swimming pool was pleasant, good changing facilities and there is a robe, slippers and extra towels in the room if you want to make use of either this facility or the sauna. Word of warning no clothing allowed in the sauna.

Hotel Spa out of order - informed upon arrival

Sadly, upon arrival to this hotel, the swimming pool, hot tub and steam room were undergoing maintenance. Normally, this wouldn't have been an issue save for the fact the entire choice of this hotel was based on being able to use the spa facilities. This was only mentioned at reception. No free upgrade was offer in lieu of the unavailable facilities. Overall, this was a disappointing stay and not worth the money.

Day trip to Berlin from Hamburg

We would have rated better if we hadn't encountered several problems.
1. We got a parking ticket on hotel property in the first ten minutes of arrival with several other vehicles (everyone got a 10€ ticket). We were then instructed to park in the hotel parking garage which costs, you guessed it, 10€ overnight!
2. We ate at Kochkunst which was overall ok. We asked for gluten free bread and were told they would have to turn the ovens back on to warm it and it would take 20 minutes, this being too long apparently. We waited over 30 minutes for the entrées so it would have been fine.
3. Before booking we were told we could use the hotel facilities on checkout day until we left. When I inquired at the front desk for the cards to access the spa they tried to charge me 30€. The receptionist stated that there weren't any managers available.
Finally, we were at breakfast, which is very good, and asked for our gluten free bread for my wife. We were told it would be warmed and served at the table. 40 minutes later we asked again and were told they didn't have any more. I asked if the manager was available and he was, which was in direct contradiction to what reception told me earlier that morning. Christian Heßler was very polite and apologetic and handled the situation pristinely. We were credited for the parking and given access to the facilities that day for as long as we liked. If it weren't for him, our stay would have been quite dismal. Many thanks to him!

Perfect for a city break with a difference.

This hotel maybe around a twenty minute train ride from the centre of Berlin, but it has so much to offer. The staff are friendly, have a good knowledge of the area and speak very good English. The spa is excellent. The pool is about twenty five metres long so you can do some proper swimming if you wish. The sauna is a must as is the jacuzzi. I hope to return one day.

Brilliant hotel facilities as it was attached to a spa with 2 swimming pools and a very large gym with a lot of different equiptment.

Didn't try the breakfast as it wasn't included in our stay - but I can imagine it was done to a high standard like the rest of the hotel and facilities

It is near the airport so can be very loud.
No air conditioning so our room got very hot. (And when we opened doors could hear planes loudly)
Location - it was about an hour away from Berlin city centre although transport links were good and regular.

Reasonable price, taking in mind SPA, free for hotel guests. Roof sauna and terrace are really relaxing experience after working day.
Breakfast was good.
Neighbourhood is just city landscape, nothing remarkable and pretty noisy, mostly because of planes flying over hotel from airport nearby. Free parking is just 'virtually' free - it is packed all the time, so that you need either hunt on released place or use paid parking.
In general stay was OK, but without above mentioned issues it would be much better.

We have stayed here several times. The hotel facilities are excellent and access to public transport is good. The 136 and 236 buses get to the s-Hahn and u-bahn stations in 5 minutes the bus stop is opposite the small Lidil shop. The S5 takes you into central Berlin.

We like the pool and spa facilities which are great, there is a good gym too.

Solid German quality in a cozy historic district.

Centrovital is conveniently located near the Spandau historic district, at about 20 minutes’ drive from the Tegel international airport. It’s not just a hotel, but a health/wellness center with a nice pool, spa, gym, and many other amenities. While on the expensive side, you get your money’s worth. It’s clean, modern, spacious, and the staff is amazing.

We stayed for 4 nights and we were very happy with the place. Excellent spa facilities/swimming pool. The employees were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast had great choices including make to order counter.

Excellent hotel in a lovely area

Excellent hotel in lovely area. Shame spa was not open at time we were there, this was due to work being carried out on this area during our stay. Even though this work was being carried out there was no noise that disturbed our stay. Staff were brilliant always pleased to help out and put in the extra mile to make your stay a good one. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing hotel to stay in this is the one. The hotel is by the water front which is lovely to walk along and you have the choice of places to eat and drink at. The hotel also has restaurants that you could eat at if you wanted to have a relaxing evening in. All in all great value for money and close to transport links to get around Berlin to see the sights and history.

No air. Not near airport.

Our family stayed in 2 rooms. The rooms were very clean and they provide adapters. However, there is no air in the rooms so the windows need to be opened. Our rooms were just above the restaurant so the noise and the smoke from the outside patio made it uncomfortable to have windows open. Also, not much in this area. There is a delicious beer garden, Brauhaus, within walking distance and lovely river, but the \"medieval town and fort\" nearby are nothing to see. We used the hotel as a stop over after our trip to Rome. Very glad we were there only one night. A good 20 minute cab ride from the airport.

Hotel staff was friendly, although I was overcharged for the breakfast. My husband and son had the breakfast, I went in later and asked for a cup of coffee. They charged us for 3 breakfasts and wouldn't reduce the charge. They also called a cab for us which was nice, but we asked for a cab for 5 people all with luggage. A little cab arrived and we had to wait for a second cab. Although very friendly, the staff ended up just being \"okay.\"

Modern \"Project\"

Room was small but efficient and clean. Shower design was nice to look at but not practical in keeping all drops of water in. Design features were modern but felt like an experimental project.

The hotel's breakfast was very opulent (19 Euro).

The hallway floors are hard and noisy. One particular worker, the floor manager, walked noisily, heels clicking, back and forth, back and forth, very early in the morning.

hotel clean and efficient, the spa was lovely although the tiling they have is VERY slippery when wet. My friend sliped down some stairs near the rooftop sauna and narrowly missed breaking her arm. When we told staff on checking out they appeared less than interested. The evening meal was very slow to arrive and was very bland and oily, but the brekfast bar was good.

An excellent hotel. Staff are very helpful and the rooms are great. It has spa-related stuff, although I never tried any of it so can't comment (wasn't there for a massage!). It's not very central (in Spandau district), but the transport links are obviously fantastic so don't let this affect your judgement too much.

Great for family or spa holiday

It was a nice surprise that spa area is also children friendly, big warm indoor swimming pool. Breakfast is good and not expensive. Beautiful lake next to the hotel. Disadvantages: far from the city (15 km) and no free parking.

Fantastic facilities

Stayed at hotel for Spandou Christmas market in December. Convinent location walking distance close to shopping centre. Hotel gym and pool lovely. Used gym noted each apparatus was clean after use by employee. Clean hotel and staff very attentive upon request. Dined in ground floor bar and meal was very nice and cooked just right. Very highly recommended. We have planned to visit the Christmas market in 2012 and well stay at the hotel again for sure.

Cetrovital Spandau

Perfect location for a concert at the Zitadelle. Spa lovely , hotel staff very helpful and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. Would definitely go back. 10 mins on the underground or train to centre of Berlin but great to be out of the city centre at the end of the day. Spandau nice little town for a wander.

Centrovital hotel in berlin

This was a great hotel especially as it was near to the zitadelle spandau where we had a concert venue booked. Facilities were good and the spa was really relaxing.

All the staff were helpful and friendly and were able tp point us in the right direction to get into the city centre.

We would stay here again

Relaxation if you have an evening....

We (as a family of 2 adults and 1 child- 7) had a great evening in the pool - best I've experienced - indoors, jacuzzi, etc. Anyway, very spacious room, etc.

Healthy, wholesome and somewhat noisy

New, clean and kind. Amazing gym and pool and a breakfast second to none. A bit of noise from planes taking off from the nearby airport (only in daytime) and a fairly long commute to central Berlin; the latter not an issue as the standard of public transportation is high.

Will be returning!

This hotel was outstanding!!! We got way more than the price we paid.
The staff was polite and very helpful. Being young travelers, we ask the receptionist for information regarding the local nightclubs. She asked us to check back in an hour and when we did she had a list of the top 10 clubs in town.
The full breakfast was the BEST I have ever had at any hotel. Now matter how late I went to bed I made it a point to make it to breakfast.
The pool and sauna were the perfect way to end a long day of sightseeing.
We can't wait to go back to Berlin and already know we will be staying here again!

The only negative would be that the rooms had no AC.

Pretty good

Overall a good stay. The 10 minute crowded bus ride from the hotel to the nearest subway station (how you access the city) kind of annoyed me but the multiple saunas, two swimming pools, hot tub and massage theripists at this hotel made up for it in my opinion. This hotel is a spa hotel and is really nice and relaxing. The restiraunt is small but the food is good.

Loved the hotel...but can you turn the noise down?

Ok, let's get all of the good stuff out of the way with first. It's clean, modern, serves a good breakfast, has nice bar, with helpful staff who mostly spoke very good English. The Hotel is near to the centre of Spandau (there's a bus stop just outside the hotel taking you to the main railway station inside 10 mins...Nos 136 and 236). The hotel is also useful if you're visiting the nearby Zitadelle which hosts concerts during the summer. Sadly it's also right under the flight path of Tegel Airport!, shouldn't be a problem if the hotel had A/C...only it doesn't. We were lucky and missed the really hot weather in Berlin, but still needed the windows open at night. Because of this I can't really recommend the Centrovital hotel, unless you're on the far side of the Hotel or can garentee that the weather will be cool enough to have the windows closed all night.
