nice hotel just outside Berlin
at first we are not happy that most of the 10 car spaces in front of the hotel were reserved (presumably for VIPs). After waiting for less than 30 mins we were able to find a space at the back street which is free. The breakfast is good, free icy drink, coffee and hot chocolate are available 24/7 outside the breakfast room is a bonus, especially in summer.

I was told the parking in the street was free but got a ticket. The main floor was under construction/cleaning of the floors and the restaurant was not open in the evenings. I would have booked somewhere else if I had known the situation. not a 4 star stay

The room was small, but sufficient for our needs. We were provided with coffee, hot cocoa and gluhwein, compliments of the hotel. The gluhwein was a nice surprise!

The only issue was the parking. Only a few (maybe 10) spaces were available on the hotel property. Otherwise, you had to park on the street, which was free, but available to everyone, so getting a spot could prove to be difficult sometimes.

We had a 12 hour layover in Berlin and this property was perfect. Close to airport. Easy check in and check out. We did not use the restaurant or any other facilities. Took an Uber downtown and saw a few sites. Good value.

The hotel was find. Clean and nice, friendly staff. Only negative point is parking. They say free parking available. But this is misleading. On site only a few parking spots. The free parking along the street only applies if you find a parking spot. When i arrived there was no parking available and i had to go to a pay parking site quite a distance away

Odd looking hotel decor (a Harley motorcycle in the lobby) and spartan design of rooms did not detract from our stay at this spotless, convenient hotel near TXL airport. We enjoyed the friendly checkout, super clean room and bath as well as the excellent breakfast buffet..better than some 4-5 stars quality wise. Very convenient location directly across the street from a large mall with grocery, food court and movie theater. 10-15 min taxi to the airport,,arranged by the hotel cost 9€. Overall, a very good value.

Das Hotel liegt in Berlin-Tegel, nicht im Zentrum, aber die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Besonders gefallen hat uns die natürliche Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals – einfach top! Auf jeder Etage gibt es kostenlos Wasser mit und ohne Kohlensäure – ein großartiger Service. Die Zimmer sind sauber, ruhig und großzügig, die Betten bequem. Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt: Die Beleuchtung könnte etwas gemütlicher sein. Vom Zimmer aus hatten wir einen schönen Blick auf den Borsigturm. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt – wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ein schönes Hotel für Aufenthalte in Berlin. Tegel ist von Mitte in ca. 30 Minuten mit der U6 und dem Ersatzverkehr zu erreichen. Dafür bekommt man ein schönes Hotel in einem Kiez, der alles hat, was man benötigt. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich. Das Hotel ist eine gute Alternative für diejenigen, die einen schönen Rückzugsort während ihrer Reise suchen.

Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal für 3 Nächte im Hotel am Borsigturm. Die Anbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist prima. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Den Frühstücksraum finden wir zu klein, laut und etwas ungemütlich. Es gibt prima Alternativen in den Borsighallen oder noch besser im Café Röttgen Berliner Str. 3.

Für mich gibt es drei wichtige Dinge bei einer Hotelübernachtung. Das Bett an sich, der Morgen danach, sprich das Duscherlebnis und das Frühstück. Wenn beim Duschen dann nur ein Rinnsal kommt welches mit einem mal funktionierenden und dann wieder still ruhendem Fön gekrönt wird, dann hebt das nicht wirklich meine Stimmung. Daher muss ich hier leider fette Abzüge in der Beurteilung machen, zumal wir auch von einem Übernachtungspreis von über 170 Euro sprechen. Da sollte man das passende Wasser schon erwarten dürfen, nicht wahr?
