Although we would have preferred undercover parking because of the snow the hotel staff were exceptionally helpful in assisting us to clean the snow from our car when we were leaving. We can recommend the Vietnamese restaurant in walking distance from the hotel as is the centre of the city

Wonderfully helpful staff. Great room and easy parking. The only complaint I have is that there is no top sheet and the duvets are very warm. We sweat most the night even with the windows open.

A slightly seedy hotel in a dull part of the city. Our room had a terrible smell so we asked to change which took ages. It wasnt expensive but not greatl. Car park is a nightmare to access and gets full

Mini chambre vieillote dans un hotel sans charme. Salle de bain des années 80 avec éclat sur le miroir et le lavabo. La porte ne permet pas d'insonoriser la chambre des bruits du couloir intérieur. A éviter absolument, comment cet hotel peut-il être associé à une chaine comme Ibis Styles

Very comfortable and convenient!

Conveniently located; and set back from the street so it was very quiet. A short walk from the train station and to the city center. Clean room, and comfortable bed and pillows. We really enjoyed the garden in the evenings, to relax and have a drink. We will stay here again, next time we are in Offenburg.

Stop over

One night stop travelling to France. We enjoyed the close proximity to centre of town- five minute walk- and that we were just off the motorway. Desk staff very helpful and polite. Plenty of hand sanitizer around and masks worn by guests while moving around. Nice size room on ground floor.

The hotel is within walking distance from Offenburg train and bus station. It is a basic 'no frills' hotel and good value for money.

Offenburg is within the Ottenau region and one can use the day pass costing c.€8 to travel within the area. There is a lovely quaint town centre nearby with shops and restaurants.

Good basic hotel very convenient to the centre of Offenburg. We were able to store our bags while we explored. Staff gave us a few options for restaurants, and we enjoyed the one we chose. After we picked up the rental car they were happy for us to use the car park to collect our things.

Spent one night to catch early morning train. 6 minute walk to train station. Room was small but very clean. Single bed (as advertised). Smallest shower I'd ever seen. All essentials included, including coffee / tea, wifi, etc. Had to walk up two flights of stairs. Overall functional and comfortable. Would not want to spend an extended amount of time but fine for purpose of catching train.

The Lady Staff with Long Black pony tail that check us; is in need to go for a Seminar on A World of Welcome Hospitality course; she do not know how to welcome and receive a guest properly.
The Housekeeper staff knows better to render greetings of a proper Good morning than the Staff on the Reception desk.
The Kettle in the room is broken, they should check this before turning it to the next guest for occupancy , not the guest to discover it is defective
The Grouting tile in the toilette shower is moldy , they should make sure its is kept clean and tidy before the next guest use.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. And the hotel was in a good location, a short walk from the train station and the center of town on a quiet street. Very little amentities, not good for sightseeing

It was a mistake on our part to stay there and day trip to Blackforest - would have been much nicer to stay at a Bnb within the forest. If you stay in the towns in the forest you get konars card which is great saving for transportation.

The room has no AC and no fridge which was tough for a hot summer night.

バーカウンターに、いつも温かいコーヒーと冷たいデトックスウォーターが用意されていたので、良かったです。冷蔵庫のない部屋だったので、それだけがマイナスでした。

Einziges Manko, das Zimmer war unfassbar warm obwohl die Heizung ausgestellt war, sodass wir im Dezember bei offenem Fenster geschlafen haben.

Teníamos reservadas 2 habitaciones dobles con un mes de antelación. Al llegar nos dan una de ellas individual y nos dicen que es lo que hay, que estaban llenos y que las habitaciones se dan por orden de llegada y no tenían más. Después de decirles que se había pagado una reserva por adelantado de una habitación doble, que no estaban cumpliendo lo acordado y que queríamos poner una reclamación exigiendo la devolución del dinero, nos hacen esperar durante 20 minutos para (sorpresa) descubrir que sí tenían una habitación doble disponible (supuestamente para otro huésped que no había llegado. No se decían que se daban por orden de llegada? En fin...). Nos dan las habitación una en un sótano y la otra en un edificio anexo, ambas sin ascensor, cargando con las maletas para acceder. Al llegar a la habitación, una chinche olorosa en la silla del escritorio, el baño con agujeros y desconchones en las paredes, el agua se salía de la ducha (enana por cierto)... Muy mala experiencia, estábamos deseando que pasara la noche con suerte sin más sustos y salir huyendo de allí. Es la primera vez que recibimos un trato así en un hotel de esta \"supuesta\" categoría. No lo recomiendo en absoluto.
