Pros: bed was comfortable. Location was good, quiet enough at night. Average WiFi and air-con. Good price. While the rooms were quite dated, it was clean.

Cons: said they do airport pick up but they didn’t reply to our messages on Hotels.com so we had to organise it ourselves. Air-con was functioning but very basic and may need some maintenance/updating. Late check out was falsely advertised as $5 on the door in the room but it ended up being $9 because our room had aircon (there was also some miscommunication about this as after we paid the late check out fee 2 other members of staff came to tell us its check out time and we had to keep explaining that we had already paid).

Great location, very friendly staff and clean rooms.
Pool was small but decent, probably needs empty and refill more often rather tham just chlorine etc.
Excellent stay and value for money accompdation, we would recommend.

My room was listed both fan and A/C which matters when it's 100 degree. I booked 5 nights. When I asked about no A/C they said it didn't come with that room and I could pay double to upgrade to an A/C room. Even after pointing it out on the listing they wouldn't honor it, nor would they give me my money back. Expedia had to step in and i think they covered the refund.

Great staff, spoke good english and very helpful! Room was nice and it is close to a convenience store and ATM and main town is a quick walk. Nice pool too. (We found the earbuds also! Thank you 🙄)

The reservation confirmation stated the following.

But was a room without air conditioning.
I were deceived.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. It was a good deal considering its location, facilities provided and the comfortable room. However, the front liners (except Shieng Hai) were unfriendly and they did not apologize for their mistake during airport pick up.

• Location

• Worth the price

Not so good:
• Hotel pickup was not reliable. The tuk tuk operator came with a wrong Guest description, and the front office staff did not apologize for their mistake.
• Sieng Hai is a friendly guy, but not the couple
• We stayed 5 nights and the housekeeping only replaced our towels, but did not clean the dirty floor

Overall:
Pleasant stay considering its price

Clean friendly guesthouse near the town

Great stay, used the pool daily and loved the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. We asked for a last minute packed lunch order on an arranged day out and they produced great baguettes for us. We had transport from and to wherever we wanted to go and loved our stay.

I have stayed here many times as it is a convenient cheap hotel. This time they have new management and a new swimming pool. I think considering the improvements it's good value. Needs renovating but that seems to be what is occurring. I look forward to staying here in the future but it may not be so cheap next time. Staff were very keep to assist and you can book anything from the front desk. They have a good small bar and restaurant next to the swimming pool. It is also walking distance (50 metres) to excellent restaurants and you can walk to the town centre easily. Look out for the great mobile coffee shop opposite the Wat.

Very happy with my stay.

Very happy with my stay. Clean and comfortable room. Friendly and attentive staff. Good wifi and a POOL!!
The food from their restaurant was always delicious, but small portions (i guess it's about quality and not quantity).
Also good location.

Everything under construction

I stayed for 3 nights in a private room with 2 beds. The hotel arranged a free tuktuk ride from the airport to the guest house, but when I arrived to the hotel, I was spooked out by the appearance of the hotel because all I could see was a pile of sand with a lot of construction equipment. It was as if the driver dropped me off at an old abandoned house with everything broken down. The pool was under construction, there was no lounging area that everyone raved about in the reviews. I checked the reviews from only 10 days before my visit and they seemed to have had a great time at the hotel and there was no disclaimer upon my booking that some of these facilities will not be available. I had an okay stay because the room was clean and spacious at a convenient location, and the hotel staff were friendly, but I wish I had at least known about the constructions going on.

Stayed for just around 7hrs though we payed 1 night. The attendant gave us the wrong room and upon checking out asked us to pay the difference. We argued not to pay since it was not our fault. Good thing the owner/manager came to settle everything.

This place worked out well for us. The room was large, airconditiong was good, wifi was perfect. The young man (Kann?) behind the desk in the mornings was great and understands what good customer service is. He's an asset to this hotel! There are families that live on the first floor. If you dont want to hear a crying baby, the first floor is not for you.

Clean hotel with really nice staff

A little rough around the edges but the room was clean and the staff were nice. The bar was a nice place to grab a quick drink before heading out. Close to pubstreet and all the night life. Overall I was pleased with this hotel.

Stayed in both a private room with friends, and the dorm. The private room was great, clean and roomy. Typical shower in an open floorplan bathroom, so be aware that this is normal in the area. Moved to the dorm where the bathroom was a little bit more humble. Water pressure not as great as the private room. But for the price, it was still a comfortable stay. All the working folks were nice.

Absolutely incredible stay! Every one should stay here when they visit Cambodia! Excellent food, amazing location! The staff was so helpful and kind and welcoming and the tuk tuk drivers were great as well!

Lying staff, leaky bathroom, bad stay!

Firstly we booked a double room and received a twin bed room, not the end of the world but still annoying. On arrival to our room the bin had not been emptied, again not a massive problem, but not something that should happen.

However there was one major problem. The bathroom toilet spray had a leak, leaving the entire bathroom floor soaked with rusty coloured water. We informed reception who said they would take a look. When we returned it was still leaking, so we reported it again to another member of staff (he looked like the manager). He said a part was needed and it would be fixed the next day. Surprise, surprise, it was still broken the next day, so we checked out and moved to another hotel in Siem Reap.

From looking at the staining on the bathroom door frame / wall this has been happening for ages. I suspect they just put people in this room who are staying for a few days and just palm them off when they highlight the problem.

The minor problems were tolerable, however, the leak wasn't, and the issue was compounded further by the guesthouse staff unapparent care about the problem.

Note: The common area is also significantly more worn than the pictures indicate.

Decent place to stay

When you go to Siem Reap, you are probably there for Angkor Wat. This is a typical budget hotel and was quite acceptable. The staff in general spoke English and I got along well with them. A definite plus was they have draft Angkor beer on tap. There is a night market one street behind it, there are restaurants beside it and it is a short walk (2-300 yards/metres) to a very bustling touristy centre of town so the location is just great. Just across the bridge into that area is a Mexican restaurant and I can recommend that restaurant as having very good Mexican food. I did not eat in the hotel/guest house, so no comment on their food but in general, for a budget hotel, I had a good stay and would recommend it. It's location is quite good, it is reasonably priced and the hotel and room were clean.

no one met us at the airport for \"free airport pickup\" even though I had sent all flight details. it was a 10 pm arrival but when arrived did get rooms , not sure if the guy just faked it or if actually had 2 rooms reserved for our party, we had arrainged to have good quality bus tickets dropped at the desk, but the company was told that no reservation under my name, (had booked 2 rooms!) so lost our reservation on good quality bus to p.p., and that resulted in whole complete different 9 hour horror story. rooms were clean, price was good, wifi was good, hot water was hot! have travelled quite a bit in Cambodia and other s/e asia countries, this place has the prize for sketchy desk staff and organization. I do imagine it is hard to find excellent staff in siem reap, so the room was acceptable for the price, just I was disappointed in reservation management

The hotel is less than 10min walking distance from the pub street and night market.
It is clean and the room are spacious.
The staff is ok but the breakfast was not included in our reservation and the prices of their dishes is quite expensive compared to the choice you have in other hotels.

Great guesthouse just off the main streets.

We loved our time at this guesthouse. We were greeted right away and shown to our room. The room was large, clean and had a comfortable bed. The air conditioner worked fantastically. There was also hot water. The staff was friendly and were able to help us with our planning. I would recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a discount guesthouse.

simple, clean, good price & location

Good clean simple cheap accommodation. convenient access to nearby Craft market which leads to wooden walkway bridge over towards ciTy centre & 'Pub Street' area, also close to 'Kings Road' which is a landmark of having Hard Rock Cafe on corner roundabout & Costa coffee. Perfect if you dont want slightly cheaper option of shared hostels as you'll have own privacy here.

Bargain guesthouse!

Considering how cheap this guesthouse was I was pleasantly surprised. Nice central location but still quiet, the rooms are spacious and clean. One of the best hot powerful showers I had in Cambodia. Great place, would stay again!

Nice and quiet with great staff

This hotel is across the river from Pub Street and the market etc (5 mins walk away) which makes it nice and quiet at night. It was great value for money and my room was very comfortable. Some things may be a little dated (the bathroom in particular) but everything was clean and worked. While I was there I noticed they were renovating one of the rooms across the hall so they are definitely trying to keep up standards. The staff were absolutely lovely and knew all the answers to my many questions and were happy organise anything I needed. Also, the free airport pick up was very much appreciated. I would certainly stay here again if I return to Siem Reap.

Good Family Run Guesthouse

It's a family run guesthouse, people were nice, within walking distance to town. The room was clean and spacious, for 5 quid a night, I am quite satisfied. I love the fact that all rooms are on ground floor, saving a lot of time going up and down. Just don't waste your time and money on their food, I didn't know how they cooked my chicken, so bad that I couldn't ate at all.
