Overall a very nice hotel, in its German way.
Good quality is very good, however the menu is quite limited.
Parking is a bit inconvenient, as you must print an inbound ticket but later change it for a coin at the reception every day. When in bldg two quite a bit to walk and a bit of a timewaster.
Other than that I really enjoyed it. Beds are fair, room was very nice.

Not as what I expected

We stayed here because it was supposed to be great; the spa facilities didn’t even open until 2:30pm. The towels were cheap. There was very little in the way of shower gel, shampoo, or conditioner. We got a junior suite which was pretty expensive but all it did was give us a large bath (which was quite nice). We had the absolute worst massage in the history of massages… it was truly terrible. The restaurant was absolutely amazing! And the staff were all very nice and very responsive. It’s right down the street from a Michelin star restaurant…. And almost nothing else.
If I’m being honest, we would have changed our reservation and gone somewhere else if it would’ve saved us money (it would not have in this case because we didn’t change the reservation in time and therefore would’ve been charged for another night) because this place wasn’t worth the money. It’s not a good location. You have to Uber everywhere. It was great having AC in the room though! Just not worth the price.

The room was the largest I have ever stayed. The bathroom was very nice with a shower and a separate tub. The room was great. I would stay at this place in a heartbeat. Very efficient staff and very helpful.
The only drawback was that the cocktails were VERY expensive. Two drinks were $40.

Great hotel! Super friendly staff & check-in, enjoyed a wonderful superior suite - nice & spacious, sweet amenities like the coffee maker / water kettle / toaster (fridge, of course), but most of all it was designed & decorated with taste, and the bed was super super comfy!! Modern bathroom as well. Could have stayed much longer and make it my personal retreat ;-). Breakfast was really plentiful (& healthy options) as well, I also enjoyed the sauna and a beautiful little dish in the restaurant (or 'lounge' the other day, but a very nice one!). Staff is very professional & service oriented (not that common in Germany, I find), so overall really good. Just that it's in a bit of an industrial looking area, however, the 'village' center is 5 minutes away, and it's real close to everything: Autobahn, downtown Mainz, other restaurants & shops. Total recommendation!

This is such a great hotel! Friendly welcome, great room I had (superior apartment, yes I spent more, but it was exquisite!), such a comfy bed and very nice interior; not exactly a kitchenette, but Nespresso machine / water kettle / toaster appreciated; nice balcony (even if a little cold in style with the metal bars...). Enjoyed the steam bath/sauna and fitness club (cooperation, half a block walking) and slept soo well. Will definitely come back! Thanks!!

The one night stay was upgraded to a suite, free-of-charge. The room has a Hollywood chic decor with 2 TV's, large closet, sofa, sitting chairs, and king bed. The layout of the room was uncomfortable because the shower was exposed to the bedroom where our son slept on a rollaway bed. The electronic controls probably were convenient for someone who is fluent in German, but entirely confusing for an American. The nightstand lights could never be turned on. The biggest problem was the lack of air conditioning even though this was promised at check-in.

Quiet location and nice apartment

It's the third year we are staying at this hotel and then the third time.
We all the time choose this hotel because of its location, it's easy to find, it's in a quiet area but also for the safe and free parking places.
We all the time stay in one of their apartments which are located something like 200 meters from the hotel, in another street and it has its own private parking.

The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable as usual. There was free and fast Wi-Fi, a minibar, TV with international channels, a DVD player, a nice balcony with outdoor furniture and view to the fields, air conditioning, a large bathroom, a Nespresso coffee machine with free capsules but also a kettle with free tea.
Our sleeping was very good.
In the main building, there is a Spa with different types of saunas and a swimming pool which is perfect to relax after a long day spent on the motorways.
The restaurant is very good and the breakfast was perfect for us. There are several buffet tables with a large choice of fresh and quality food.

I really recommend this hotel, especially the apartment if you don't mind to walk. We will definitely come back next year!

Nice Hotel pity about the location

We stayed at the Residenz which is a self-catering capable block about 300 yards from the hotel. There is at least one supermarket within 500 yards to get supplies. Room was great. We didnt have much to do with the hotel as such but the staff were great when we needed help. The only downside is the location of the hotel. Its in a commercial district on the western side of Mainz. We found road access to Mainz and/or Frankfurt rather busy. The Autobahn were solid during morning and evening rush hour periods

Watch out for bed bugs!

The hotel is in a beautiful location and main building is a nice one with some nice rooms (I have stayed there before). However, they also have some rooms in a close by building and that one is an absolute disaster. The first room they put me in had bed bugs!!! and when I complained to the reception and asked for my room to be changed immediately and the issue to be addressed, they were super unfriendly and unhelpful and acted as if I am complaining about something insignificant. They only agreed to change my room when I threaten to report the issue to the health authorities. And although I insisted that they should address the issue by asking a professional agency to deal with it, they sent one of the cleaning staff to vacuum the room and make it ready for the next guest!! I really hope they address this immediately, otherwise, this will create a great problem for the guests as bed bugs can get out of control quite quickly.

It was the second time we stayed in this hotel.
We were on the residence side, at 300 meters from the main hotel building. It was very quiet with a private parking.
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
We enjoyed the spa inside the hotel. There are different types of saunas and a nice swimming-pool.
The restaurant was perfect and the buffet breakfast was excellent.

Fantastic hotel, huge, modern everything you need lovely staff. I originally booked a delux annex apartment room which was the biggest room I've ever had with full cooking facilities equally as good if not better than the hotel rooms with a balcony. But the short walk from the main hotel made it not as desirable especially in the winter. The annex would have been great in the summer and with a family for a self catering stay. The down side was that there was nothing around except a bus into Mainz which is cheap and quick

Very nice and big apartment

We stayed in one of their apartment which is located at 200m from the main building.
The room was very big with a lot of equipment like an espresso machine, a toaster, a fridge, a micro-wave, and ironing table + iron,....
It was very quiet and the free parking place was closed and safe.

The spa in the main building was nice and relaxing.

Atrium Hotel Mainz is very good and confortasble hotel in a rather natural place near Mainz city and I had reserved it to visit our customer located in Wiesbaden, but it is no problem with us at all to drive to there from the hotel. The food of the hotel is very nice and delicious. You can do some walking and hiking in the natural area near the hotel. You can drive to the important places of Mainz and Wiesbaden with 10 minutes driving. If you have a car, I recommend that you try this hotel if you go to Frankfurt, Wiesdbaden, Darmstadt or Mainz.

Hotel has some construction going on but you don't notice it once you're in. Hotel is clean and modern, good staff. Restaurant was a bit upscale and the Sun. p.m. dining room was understaffed but they pulled it together. Nice indoor pool and spa area!

Alles war prima – das Frühstück war sehr lecker, der Pool ausgezeichnet und angenehm ruhig. Auch das Zimmer (Nr. 419) hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Der Duschkopf war leider nicht sauber, sodass ich mich beim Duschen nicht ganz wohlgefühlt habe. Ansonsten war alles super – besonders die Klimaanlage war ein Pluspunkt. Ich würde sogar wiederkommen.

Im Angebot stand nirgends, dass das Zimmer in einem Nebengebäude ca 500 Meter vom Hotel entfernt liegt (nur über stark befahrene Straßen erreichbar). Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und dann auch in einem Zimmer im Hotel selber nach Rücksprache untergebracht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Der Pool ist nicht sehr groß, aber sauber. Der Preis ist etwas zu hoch angesetzt.

Schönes Appartement, zum Teil wenig funktional

An sich schönes Hotel. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut!

In unserem Deluxe-Appartement waren einige Dinge allerdings nicht ganz optimal. Wir waren 4 Nächte da und es fand währenddessen keine Reinigung/Housekeeping statt. Grundsätzlich okay, aber es besteht auch keine Möglichkeit, Müll selbst zu entsorgen und die Mülleimer sind eher klein bzw. ist es unschön, Restmüll oder gar Windeln bei wärmeren Temperaturen im Zimmer zu haben. Man kann bei der Rezeption anrufen, dann wird der Müll am Folgetag abgeholt, ist aber etwas unpraktisch.
Außerdem gibt es eine Küche, allerdings keine Spülmaschine und auch keine Utensilien zum Reingen des Geschirrs (Schwamm, Spülmittel etc.) Wir sind abends vor einem Feiertag angekommen und konnten daher zunächst nicht abspülen. Auch danach war es schwierig, weil das warme Wasser in der Küche nicht funktionierte.
Auch Salz, Zucker etc. sind in der Küche nicht vorhanden. Sie erschien uns insgesamt zum Kochen nur wenig geeignet, zumindest wenn man nur wenige Tage da ist und deshalb nicht alles selbst mitbringen möchte.

Ein weiterer Punkt ist, dass das Appartement zwar groß ist, aber ein Esstisch fehlt. In unserem Fall war nun auch noch das Sofa umgeklappt, da wir zu dritt im Zimmer waren, und wir hatten zu dritt nur einen einzigen Stuhl und dazu einen winzigen Couchtisch. Auch deshalb war das Kochen im Zimmer wenig attraktiv.
Schafade, denn Platz genug wäre wirklich in dem Zimmer.
Gleiches Problem auf dem Balkon: Sitzgelegenheit nur für eine Person.

Die Reinigungskräfte haben wahrscheinlich zu wenig Zeit um alles immer gründlich zu reinigen (verstaubte Heizkörper). Wir haben uns aber trotzdem sehr wohl gefühlt. Frühstück und Service waren absolut erstklassig. Ich würde das Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Séjour en famille (3 entrants), nous avons loué 2 chambres. Très spacieuses et bien équippées. Très bon petit déjeuner sous forme de Buffet. Nous recommandons cet Hotel.

L´Hotel possède un bâtiment avec des appartements qui se trouve à +/- 100 m de du bâtiment principal. Ça ne gene pas trop mais c’est important à savoir car toutes les infrastructures de l’Hotel sont dans ce bâtiment

Leider waren die Zimmer nicht so sauber, auf dem Kopfkissen lagen Haare, im Mülleimer waren Wattestäbchen.
Nach einem Anruf wurde es direkt entfernt, aber vorher zu schauen, ob alles sauber ist, wäre auch schön.
Der Pool war leider auch extrem kalt, so dass wir nicht wirklich schwimmen konnten.
Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte eine große Auswahl und war insgesamt ok.

Der einzige negative Aspekt war die Wartezeit auf das Abendessen im Restaurant: Sie betrug fast 2,5 Stunden. Man hat sich aber für den Fehler mehrfach entschuldigt.

Sehr schönes, inhabergeführtes Hotel. Sehr freundlicher, unaufdringlicher aber sehr aufmerksamer Service im ganzen Haus. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Reichhaltiges Frühstück mit einer tollen Auswahl. Großes Zimmer mit guter Ausstattung und Balkon. In der Nacht sehr ruhig.

Tolles Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal, Zimmerlage und Ausstattung ließen keine Wünsche offen.
Frühstücksbuffet und Abendessen im Restaurant waren ausgezeichnet, so wie die Auswahl an Speisen und Getränke.
Service im Restaurant war zuvorkommend, kompetent und sehr freundlich.
Spa und Massageanwendungen waren wunderbar und entspannend.
Es waren sehr erholsame Tage, ich komme gerne wieder.
