Room was clean, staff were nice, and the ice machine was a bonus. The breakfast area was quite small but there were no issues taking food back to the room. Location near the Gatheria was great, and connections from Kiba on the Tozai line were easy enough.
The room was smoking which was disappointing, but it was really only noticeable on room entry. At least the view was interesting enough. It would've been nice to have known earlier (I booked months in advance so it's not unreasonable for allocations to have been coordinated and advised in advance, if not accommodated). It was frustrating that rooms are not clearly marked as smoking or non-smoking - the Expedia booking showed smoking as an automated 'request' in the small print for a 'standard twin room'.
