It was in a good location but that’s about it. We found food crumbs on the provided pjs. I don’t think the room was cleaned properly. The staff was a bit rude and didn’t want to use a translator app, compared to all the other hotels I’ve stayed at in Japan.

Nice hotel conveniently located next to Shiomi station (only 3 stops away from Tokyo Main). Clean well kept property, but a bit tight if you are used to Western style accommodations. Small tub/shower, sink, toilet room that’s is requires a large step up to get into. Not much space beyond the beds, barely enough room to fit a chair and a small desk. Luggage had to be laid on the floor by the entry door and got in the way of the bathroom door and entry door. Staff was very nice and professional. Public bath included but we didn’t use. No business center so had to work in the lobby. Skip the on site restaurant Veranda brunch - it was ok but so much better food elsewhere for cheaper. On site laundry was nice. On site Lawson very convenient.

My showerhead was broken. When hung up in its cradle it would spurt water out of the top.
Their driers took a lot longer to dry clothes than usual I spent about an hour and a half using their machines and my clothes were still damp

Everything good with hotel except for luggage transfer to Haneda airport from hotel. Very complicated for a technically-challenged senior like me! I’m used to Yamato xfer. I’m still not fully confident that my forwarded luggage to Haneda will arrive. Other than that, great location to go to Disneyland and nice spa facility.

Booked here as a convenient but affordable hotel for Disneyland. Right across from JR station and some convenience stores/dining options nearby, with a Lawson attached to the hotel.

Typical APA rooms - small but clean. Hallways have strangely low ceilings but room ceilings are normal. Microwave and cold/water machines are each floor.

This was a great room! We stayed for the Disney portion of our trip, it was a 2 minute walk from the station, had a convenience store in it and a great take out place and another convenience store within 5 minutes. There’s a great grocery store at the train station as well. Great location and comfortable hotel!

This was a great place to stay! Only a 4 minute walk from the train and only a 15 minute ride to the Disney Parks! The room was clean and had everything you needed. If you have tattoos, you won’t be able to go into the onsen.

The room was infested with gnats. The ventilation is terrible in the bathroom, the vent barely worked. There’s a separating between the wall and the shower and all the built up moisture caused the gnats. The bathrooms are super tiny. Everyday my wife and I killed about 15-20 gnats in the bathroom. The gnats also traveled to the living area. The gnats made our stay very annoying and uncomfortable. I do like the subway station was less than a 5 minute walk to the Shiomi station so this made transportation easy and convenient for us.

Inexpensive, Western-style hotel near Big Sight. Shiokaze Bridge to the north is a brief walk and offers a nice view, from the river, especially during the evening. The hotel is attached to a Lawson and there is a Family Mart across the nearest intersection. There is also a grocery store by the nearby station. The nearest station is Shiomi Station which only grants access to the Keiyō line which goes to Tokyo Station as well as a handful of stations in Chiba. It is not an active district of Tokyo, so while there are not many notable tourist experiences within walking distance, there is also not a lot of noise and foot traffic.

It's worth noting if you plan to go to Big Sight for an event that there is a one-stop ride to change to the Rinkai line at Shin-Kiba Station, so plan accordingly if you bring anything big or heavy, especially during peak hours.

It's a decent hotel. It has the disadvantage of being a big chain so the service didn't feel as welcoming as smaller hotels. That being said it was a pleasant stay. The rooms were clean and there were decent amenities. My one big problem is that the laundry machines were in the changing room of the public bath. It was inconvenient having to deal with the rules of the public bath when I simply wanted to do a wash. It's really only worth it if it's the cheaper option.

While everything was good, I wish the staff warned me when I asked for a taxi to the airport it would cost 25,000+ yen (roughly 250$ CAD). Not being familiar with local cab prices, their insight would have been helpful and saved me a lot of money. For that they lose stars.

The single room was really well organised and lovely. We stayed 2 weeks and loved the room with air conditioning and good bathroom. The hotel is 3 stops out of Tokyo (Shiomi) and a 5 minute walk from the hotel. There is a small ‘corner shop’ at the hotel which was useful. Th hotel supply toothpaste toothbrush razor everyday. I shall miss it! Not being able to check in until 3pm was a bit of a bind. The computer self check in was complicated but the staff were very helpful.

This hotel is very convenient and inexpensive for staying in Shiomi and it's comfortable but as usual sort of small. But the vacuuming in the rooms is poor. They never must use an edger wand because there's tons of dust and crumbs around all the furniture and edges of the rooms.

The room was very compact and efficiently designed. It had all of my desired amenities except one (a safe). It was very conveniently located to my reason for being in that part of Tokyo - which was to be close to the Tokyo Disney parks.
It offered free access to Japanese bath plus the necessary accoutrements (a yakuta) but sadly I didn't have the energy to indulge given my long days at the Disney parks. But this pwrk does raise it above many other facilities.
I would stay here again were I to return to the Tokto Disney parks.

The only down side to this hotel and other hotels around the area, is how small their rooms are. It’s comfortable for one person but definitely doesn’t give you enough space for two people to enjoy for a few days. Overall a great hotel for a decent price.

We stayed at this Hotel for 7 nights. It’s a wonderful hotel that is reasonably priced for Tōkyō and for Us was strategically located. It’s 3 stops to The Disney Resort and in the other direction 3 stops to Tokyo Station. The Hotel is very clean and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The check in is a self serve Kiosk however the Staff did not hesitate to step in and help when they noticed me with a confused look. The breakfast was very good with a great variety. It’s actually a brunch and they have something for everyone. The public bath downstairs very clean and is a great amenity and was very relaxing after a long day of walking. I have 2 small tattoos and the front desk will give you tattoo coverup patches to use for the Onsen. The neighborhood is quiet but I would recommend earplugs if you’re a light sleeper because of the Metro passing by. It did not bother me. The rooms are small….buy it is Japan and that’s how they typically are. We managed with 2 carry on bags but if you’re bringing larger suitcases you may be bothered by the lack of floor space. I don’t necessarily agree with the 10:00 am check out but you can extend it for 1, 2, or 3 hours for a reasonable charge. They will also hold your luggage for a few hours at no cost. We checked out at 10:00, had them watch our luggage, had a relaxing breakfast and then left. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

If you're someone who's planning to go to Disney then this is a hotel you should consider. Situated right next to a JE line station makes this one of the most convenient hotels I've stayed in yet.

My only issue with the property is the Aircon, or lack of. The system is controlled by the main board which in turn is controlled by the weather.

You do have individual air con controls but the system is either set to heating or cooling which affects yours

We arrived very early due to international flight and offered to pay an extra night to get a room but they only offered to maybe take us in at noon and pay around $50 to check in early. Also surprised by super early check out 10am

two weeks in a tiny room

We stayed in a room with two twin beds. There was no closet or drawers, so we hung our clothes on the hooks and in the suitcases. Since we were there awhile, it would have been nice to store some things. The beds were really comfortable and the shower was super. The spa area was very clean and spacious. The room wasn't as clean, there was debris on the carpet along the edges of the furniture. There's no individual control of room temperature, so we were too hot a couple of nights, then it cooled off outside and was just right. Being on the top floor was probably part of that. In all though, we were happy with our stay and the value of the room in that area. And enjoyed the friendly staff as well.

I’ve been staying at all the APA Hotels around Tokyo but this is the first time at this location APA Hotel Shiomi. It’s definitely very convenient and cheaper option being close to the Tokyo Disneyland Resort. One thing I notice is the bathroom seems little older compare to the other APA Hotels in Tokyo. It was like a yellowish cream color instead of white.

Al hacer check in No estaba registrada mi reserva, la chica que me atendió nada amable y tardo mucho y ya pude capturar mis datos, al resto de la familia lo atendió un hombre y les resolvió y ayudo muy rápido y tenia en resguardo mi maleta y no me la quería entregar la chica hasta que pefi ayuda a los hombre y rápido me la entrego.
No limpiaban bien las habitaciones solo 1 día dejaron cafe, te, azúcar
La habitación increiblemente pequeña, no tiene closet y no hay espacio para 2 maletas. El spa el lo único bueno y limpio del hotel

Compact rooms but convenient location

Check in process was a bit confusing as they relied on a computer for self check in process. Room was comfortably compact. Hard to maneuver around if you have multiple suitcases, especially larger ones. Definitely recommend getting a larger deluxe room. They had a buffet and convenience store right downstairs, and it was a short walk to nearby Shiomi JR station and the Keiyo line which takes you straight to Tokyo terminal, and Tokyo Disney! Super convenient and overall great stay.

Nice enough hotel, however my whole experience was ruined due to terrible room allocation.
I was placed in a room/floor absolutely surrounded by school students who were incredibly loud and annoying, running and stomping through the hallways, knocking on each others doors for hours on end. I was woken up at 5am by multiple alarms that rang and vibrated for several minutes. After 30 minutes of trying to ignore it I called reception and politely requested they address it. Nothing was done, if anything it then got worse for the next 30 minutes.
All of these issues could have been avoided by just a little bit more thought and organisation of rooms.
Incredibly disappointing, especially considering the home screen on the TV had looping videos of showing respect and being considerate while visiting Japan.

The location was walking distance to Shiomi station and there is a small Lawson connected to the hotel. We did the self check-in and payment at the hotel lobby. Do note that there is no free parking at the hotel. The paid parking are right beside the hotel.

The room was not very spacious but overall, it is still a good affordable location for a short stay-over before heading the Disneyland.
