Our stay at Villa Fontaine was wonderful from start to finish. The hotel was exceptionally clean, modern, and comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax after long days of exploring Tokyo.

The staff was incredibly kind, professional, and always willing to help with directions, transportation, and any questions we had. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation, making it simple to get around the city.

The rooms were well-maintained, the beds were comfortable, and the amenities made our stay even more enjoyable. We especially appreciated how quiet and peaceful the hotel was despite being in such a busy city.

I would absolutely stay at Villa Fontaine again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo. Thank you for making our trip such a memorable experience!

Well located for a meeting I was going to at TOC in Ariake. Very nice breakfast buffet,except for the raw fish (just not so great). Great value, and the location next ot the mall (Ariake Garden) was handy for quick meals.

But I wish the hotel had a bar so I could sit down with colleagues and relax. There needs to be a convivial meeting place.

They had check-in computers and we lined up to speak to someone at first but they made us use the computers. And the computers didn’t let us do the check in so we still had to get helped by an actual person. The print out they gave us had someone else’s info on it so it had to be reprinted but they still gave us the same room. When we got to the room the place was not set up for our family. We had to ask for towels and amenities for everybody. They just had one set of everything. This tells me they have us the room that was set up for a different reservation maybe.
Everything else was good. It’s adjacent to the mall through the 6th floor so that was very convenient.

We traveled with a Syrian old, asked for a futon (NO FUTON, RAN OUT) asked for a comforter (ran out) , no extra sheet (ran out).
No toothbrush at reception , all brought to room.
We left trash , it was not picked up from our room.
Check in stricktly at 3pm. A huge line of people lines up 2:50pm.
Breakfast last person can enter 9:40.
9:30 there was NO FOOD
Will not stay again.
Do not recommend

Check-In was very fast. Warm inviting lobby as always.

Staff at front desk very welcoming and warm as well.

Restaurants in hotel and some in close proximity.... short walk to train station.

Breakfast was plentiful with plenty of options, no complaints…. Wonderful service as always.

Gym facilities and equipment are enough to get by over your stay.

Room is clean and well maintained. Lots of space for storage. Mini fridge, Hot water kettle in room and microwave next to vending machine in case you need. Fluffy towels and available body-wash, conditioner and shampoo are very good.

Over an excellent stay and highly recommend this hotel.

Overall, we had a really great experience at Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo Ariake. The staff were very welcoming upon arrival and throughout our stay. The ametities were great and the shopping mall directly connects to the hotel. There is also Ariake Station conveniently located next to this hotel as well. If you are visting Tokyo but don’t want to live in the city centre, I would highly recommend this place!

Easy access to Ariake Gardens Mall. If you need a coffee fix in morning Tully is 2 minutes outside Hotel. We enjoyed the Spa. I used the onsen,sauna,steam room, ice pool and jacuzzi. Free shuttle to the station was a plus. 7 minutes walk to the Yurikamone monorail from there you can explore Tokyo sights. We will be back👻

The room was spotless, the staff were very kind and helpful. Check-in is very simple and very fast. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The free shuttle service to Tokyo Station was a fantastic perk! Being connected to the Mall made it very easy to visit the vast food court and shopping area. I would highly recommend this hotel!!

I had a fantastic experience staying at Hotel Villa Fontaine in Tokyo and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!
Exceptional Staff & Service: Since I only speak English, I was a bit nervous about logistics, but the staff here went completely above and beyond. They were incredibly nice and accommodating, even helping translate and coordinate directly with my other hotel to handle my luggage shipping (Takkyubin). They made what could have been a very stressful process absolutely seamless!
Impeccable Cleanliness: The hotel is extremely clean. Every single day, it was such a relief to come back from a long day of activities and sightseeing to a perfectly refreshed, spotless room.
Perfect Location & Amenities: The location is unbeatable—super convenient and close to everything, making navigating Tokyo incredibly easy. On top of that, the in-room Wi-Fi was strong, fast, and reliable the entire time.
Between the helpfulness of the staff, the cleanliness, and the perfect spot, this hotel made my trip to Tokyo so much better. I will definitely look to stay here again on my next visit!

It was a very independent check in and check out process which is Greta if you’re tired of talking to people, but I like a personable touch at my hotels so I missed that aspect. I would’ve liked someone to walk me through the ins and outs of the hotel. It was also so hard to find the entrance form outside taxi drivers didn’t know where to drop you either. More signage outside would do good. There weren’t many amenities compared to a lot of other cheaper hotels I stayed at this trip and it’s pretty out of the way of most things in tokyo. Overall pleasant! Just wish there were a few personal touches and more clearly outlined rules and signs !

Staff was amazing, they were all so friendly and helpful. Communicated with me in English, so I really appreciated it. The room was amazing and very large for a hotel in Asia. The toilet was separate from the shower which was excellent. The AC was prime, the laundry machines both washed and actually dried our clothes, and the spa and bath house is 100% worth checking out with their 5 different types of baths + hot saunas. We stayed for 2 weeks and the only 2 negatives on them was 1, the pillow wasn't very supportive, and 2 the house keeping staff never really dusted our surfaces, so over the 2 weeks the room just got dustier and dustier. I may have missed something in the instructions, but aside from that everything was amazing!

The hotel was great with helpful and friendly staff. The check in and check out was easy. Even though this hotel was not close to most of the places we visited, it was within close walking distance to the subway station and very close to a bus stop plus the hotel offered a free shuttle to tokyo station. We would stay here again.

Room is very nice and clean. Large deep bath tub, might be difficult for elderly to get in and out. Breakfast is good/okay. Softserve ice cream is available during breakfast and dinner! Dinner food was okay but not good. The Villa Grand Fontaine at Haneda had really good food!! Next time we might stay there for the entire trip instead of switching to the Ariake location. The staff was very helpful during check in and check out. The hotel also has enough seating in the lobby while waiting to check in.

We skipped the breakfast because the aeon supermarket and coffee shop opens at 8am so we went down to the coffee shop for breakfast! The hotel is great! Clean, spacious rooms! The onsen and grand ariake garden mall is the best place for families to stay! Such good restaurants and the onsen connected to the hotel is so clean and relaxing!

Location was super convenient with the theater, shopping center, and onsen all next door. Onsen is an extra cost, but discounted for hotel guests. So relaxing, clean, and the onsen even has tattoo covers inside available from the vending machines (light skin tone) in case you forget covers. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful :)

This hotel needs to update its presentation on Expedia - I picked it because a) the rooms look great - most photos show a large bed b) they say they have a public bath and c) it's close to Tokyo Big Sight -

BUT - after checking in a) I discovered I had unknowingly booked 'run of house' which means they gave me a room with two small single beds which was nothing like the photographs shown b) the public bath is US $15 per day and in the mall next door (which would be ok if that was made clear when booking because it is a nice spa) and c) yes, it's still close to Big Sight -

Had to really make a bit of a fuss about how the presentation on Expedia was misleading before they changed me to a room with a large bed - but smaller room with no place to put a suitcase.

Attitude of front desk staff was that I had made the 'error' when I booked but IMO the site is misleading.

For value, convenience, free public baths onsite I'll stick with APA hotels moving forward - and even though those rooms are even smaller, they enable you to store stuff under the bed.

The hotel is conveniently located in Ariake Garden which can be accessed by bus and metro. Next to the hotel is a big shopping centre with Aeon, Daiso, Big Camera, Hana Sushi and fast food restaurants and hence shopping and food are readily available. The hotel room is comfortable, with TV, kettle, safe and fridge provided. Water pressure is good and aircon is strong. Breakfast has a good variety but they are the same everyday and it will be good to introduce changes in the items for long staying guests. The best is there is free shuttle bus provided by the hotel to Ginza and Tokyo Station from 10 am to 5.30 pm which is very convenient. Overall I am comfortable and enjoy my stay in the hotel very much.

We were there for a total of 22 minutes and approached 3 times about closing. The carpet in the room was stained and looked worn. We had to ask for pillows. Great location mediocre service

Room was spotless and always had fresh towels and sheets to come back to the hotel with during the day. Staff made check in so easy, and helped with a heavy parcel I preordered before arriving. Check out is so easy also - card into machine and off you go. Really good location being close to two connecting train lines and multiple convenience stores within 5 minutes walk. Definitely an option if you are looking to halve your accomodation cost for a slight time sacrifice getting into the city and back when finished!!!

I was so unhappy staying here. I arrived at 1 pm told to come back as check in was 3 but I could come back at 2-30 and I’d be fine. Great I thought. Then when back at 2-30 told my actual reservation was at a 6 pm start and I’d have to pay an extra £50 to check in 3 hours early. Plus no double bed even though I had requested it weeks ago. Overall I felt vulnerable and disappointment. There was no bar just restaurant that was quite buffet like. Don’t recommend at all

Good location. Easy access to 2 main train station route. Attached with the shopping mall is excellent with wide range of good food selection which better than expected. Hot spa at the same building was a plus, so comfort with reasonable charge and discount for hotel guest. Offer free shuttle to Ginza and Tokyo station but only got 21 seats which not easy to catch up. With 2 self-service laundry room make so convenience when travel kids that need to wash clothes often.

My experience at this property was great! It’s connected to the mall and close by to many food options or the train station to get around. I would recommend that this property change some food variety options for at least the breakfast. We went twice in a row during breakfast but expected for some of the food options to change. It was exactly the same. Good food but would like to see more options. Thank you to the friendly staff and property for a great stay overall!
