The rooms were clean and well stocked, it’s a little out the way of the main area and I ended up taking taxis everywhere. The staff were not overly friendly , I appreciate they don’t speak English but a smile and animated face don’t hurt . The Japanese people have proved lovely elsewhere so it’s unusual to be so austere at the hotel .

I didn’t try their restaurant so I can’t comment on the food or wait staff. The people at the front desk were always available. You never had to wait to have someone assist you. I am an English speaker but communicating was not challenging; they understood and spoke English adequately. The hotel was clean but I feel that the carpet needs an update. Amenities were basic and practical. I loved the drip coffee they had in the room. I booked my hotel thru Expedia, stayed for 6 nights and it cost me $1300 and some change. I highly recommend this hotel for the practical tourist!

Beautiful place with a fantastic view!! They changed our room for a very small fee!! Breakfast was ok taxi stand near by!! Overall, a gorgeous place. There’s a beautiful park next moor with a walking path along the river which I found out on the morning we were leaving. Wish I had known about that earlier!!

I checked into this hotel specifically because it was directly across from St. Luke Hospital, where family was staying. From that stand point, it was fantastically convenient. It also had gorgeous views of the city!

The 1st room I was in was fine though I noticed while in the shower that there was what looked like mold above in the (ventilation?) thing above the shower. It was quite thick. Apart from that though, the room was fine. The bed seemed a little overly firm, but not unbearably so.

I ended up having to extend my stay due to having fallen sick myself. I asked the front desk - and had Expedia ask on my behalf as well - if I could just stay in the same room. The hotel refused and made me move. Initially, I was quite frustrated because I was having high fevers and coughing and it seemed too much to repack and lug everything somewhere else. However, they were very accommodating. They allowed me to stay in the first room until noon, I went downstairs and waited 5 minutes and then I was given the key to the 2nd room. They moved my luggage for me. The 2nd room was on a higher floor, had a different view, bed seemed more comfortable - & no mold in the ventilation thing in the shower. Win, win.

Seeing others mention English - the desk clerks did not speak fluent English. Luckily, Google Translate is a free app & I was able to use that to communicate.

I was never able to try the breakfast due to being ill, but overall - I would stay in the hotel again and recommend it.

You stay here for the amazing view. It clean and safe. Staff is friendly. Only downside is that they still use mechanical keys and you only get one key per room. Makes it hard to coordinate if you and your travel mate want to split up part of the day. The view is amazing.

街中から外れて少し不便ですが、高層階なのでとても眺望がいいホテルです。内装は少し疲れた感じでかなり昭和の古さ、でも清潔です。一番びっくりしたのは、２泊でかなりの金額を払ったのに、ちょっとした乳液などの化粧品のアメニティが全くついていなかったことです。フロントに夜遅く電話したところ、フロントに取りに来るなら二百五十円払えばお渡しできるといわれました。ルームサービスのスタッフも節約しているのか、女性にきてもらうことを考えてないのでしょうか。眺めがいいから次回もつかうか、それとも同じくらいの値段ならもっと女性目線のところにするか、微妙です。

The room does not have a safe vault but had no issues with leaving money in the room. Less than 15 minutes walk to Tsukiji Outer fish market and ~7 minutes walk to Tsukiki Station.

Room is very spacious. Furniture and fixtures are quite dated, but clean and presentable.
Location of the hotel is close to Tsukiji’s outer market. Nearest metro station (Tsukiji Station) is some distance away and above ground - something you may like to take note of if you’re navigating your way to the hotel with luggage.
It rained on the day of our check-out, so we opted to travel by taxi. The fare from hotel to Tokyo Station was approx. JPY 1,700.

This hotel has very compact but clean rooms, friendly English speaking front staffs, close to Tawaramuchi metro train station, along Ginza line just a train stop away from Asakusa.
Though we have a small size double room, the room ambiance is quite, clean and comfortable. During the three nights we spent, we even get clean towels and pejamas, our room made up.

Fantastic city view

Quiet high-rise hotel located right on the river with fantastic view of Tokyo. Room was clean and well appointed. Staff was courteous and attentive. The hotel was a bit of a walk from the metro and restaurants etc. as there wasn't much in the way of a nightlife or restaurants very close. Overall a very nice city hotel.

Nice quiet big room hotel near Tsukiji Fish Market and with a beautiful view of Tokyo and Sumida River. My wife Jean I enjoyed the big luxurious room with full amenities. Staff at Front Office are very nice and friendly. Will definitely stay there again with iur family next time.

This hotel is not exactly at the hub of Tokyo but if you're into a quiet hotel after touring the busy streets of Tokyo. Then this is the perfect hotel for you. I will recommend taking the breakfast package. The view from the restaurant as you enjoy your breakfast will really motivate you to enjoy Tokyo.

Nice hotel close to Tsukiji Fish Market and the Sumida River. Not far from the Ginza. Beautiful views of Tokyo and the river. We saw mount Fuji from our hotel window. The adjacent building has some nice restaurants, a bank, convenience store, and coffee shops. Helpful desk staff. Room included a massage chair.

Inconvenient for sight seeing the rest of Tokyo. Public transportation was not easy to reach. We had to use taxis a few times to and from the hotel.

Nice rooms, a little bit of a walk

This hotel was nice- decent room size for Tokyo which is the main reason we chose it. It's a good 25min walk to the nearest JR line if you bought the JR pass. It's only a few minutes walk to the nearest metro line though. As far as being \"in the heart of Ginza\", you aren't. It's about a 10-15min walk to where you want to be for the shopping etc. It wasn't a bad location, but I would probably stay at a different hotel next time just for ease of walking so much to do anything. We had the JR pass and since it's so expensive, we wanted to use that. So there was a lot of walking involved for us where it would have been a shorter walk if we stayed closer to the heart of Ginza.

I booked the Ginza Creston because it looked to have larger rooms than most in Tokyo and the location was in Ginza and close to the fish market. The rooms were indeed bigger, a plus, but the hotel itself isn't in Ginza but reasonably close to the fish market. The hotel itself is a bit tired and dated, as per the photos and it doesn't really pitch or cater to western tourists, but I suspect those travelling to the hospital and university which are located nearby.
My biggest issue was the service I received from the hotel on my first night there. I asked them to make a reservation at a restaurant, and they flat out refused and told me to make it myself. My Japanese being non existent, this was difficult, but more so rude from the staff. I haven't experienced this before and thought it is a basic service that most hotels would offer.

Nice hotel on upper floors of St Luke's Tower. Spacious and comfortable rooms - massage chair is a great bonus. Quiet area but ideally placed: easy 10 minute walk to Tsukiji or Shintomicho Metro stations which will get you to wherever you need to be in Tokyo. Ginza Metro station is about 15-20 minute walk. 15 minute walk to Fish Market. Convenient 7/11 store in connecting tower. Stayed for two weeks and the hotel was a great place to return to after long days in and around Tokyo. Couldn't recommend more highly!

Nice hotel - great views of Tokyo

Lobby is very nice. Rooms are average, but very clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are pretty large as for Tokyo.
Views are unforgettable.
There is a restaurant in the hotel and 7 eleven store at the street level. Wonderful restaurant on the 47th floor in the attached building, pricey, but food is good, views are great and they have an outside sitting area. Both restaurants close about 10:00pm. At night neighborhood is pretty quiet. Behind the hotel is a river path used by a few people jogging in the morning.

Location: our hotel room had a beautiful view. From the breakfast room, make sure you sit by a window - again a great view.
We chose this hotel die to its proximity to the Tsujiki Market. It is about a 10 minute walk. The Tsujiki station was the closest metro. We did think it was inconvenient that we were not close to a JR line hub. Closest JR is Tokyo (two metro lines away).

Hotel Room. Nice sized room for Japanese style hotel. My big criticism is that the entire room seemed like it had been put together in the 70s - very old: however, it was very clean. Very few plugs - we had to hunt to find two...

Breakfast: Quite expensive. 2100 yen. You get a choice of western or Japanese style. I loved the view but wasn't sure of the value for what you get.

Location was very close to Tsukiji fish market. 5min walking distance to subway station, 1,000yen tax ride to Tokyo station.All rooms are on high floor, beautiful view. 1st class hotel room.you can jogging along water day or night on trail. I left my suitcases day before check in at counter to make travel right that most of hotel does for you, they did put my luggages in my room before I had arrived.

I have stayed here twice now. Both times the rooms are quite smoky smelling despite being a non smoking hotel. Facilities in the rooms are great, and a comfortable hotel. Hotel is in a slightly funny location, not being too close to much. It's a short walk to tsukiji market, but about 15 minutes walk into Ginza so convenient, but not super convenient. Good hotel
