Great place for my family of four, close access to the subway lines for all the attractions. Restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Very helpful staff for recommendations and directions. Also took advantage of luggage delivery to the airport so we could explore the city bag free while we waited for evening flight.

The room was clean and comfortable with enough room for our family of 4. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They called the International Clinic for us when my son was ill. Risa went above and beyond by walking me to a nearby hotel and arranging a partial day stay after we checked out so that we could rest. We would definitely stay here again. We were made to feel comfortable and at home. Many thanks to the staff and especially Risa. She was so kind.

About the best you can do in Tokyo for a family of five at this price point. We had a premium family room which had a bedroom with four single beds and a bunk bed crammed together, yet was surprisingly comfortable. There were closets which helped with luggage storage and a living area with table and banquettes and a built in counter with small stools. I used the small stools to put suitcases on as there was no folding luggage rack - that would have been helpful. One nice bathroom shower and a separate tiny toilet room. Note that towel changes are done daily but bathroom and bed linen only changed every several days. The front desk staff is what made this place amazing..:Leti from Italy and Rosa from Uzbekistan were so warm and friendly every dayAND helped with their Japanese female colleague (sorry can’t remember her name maybe Yuko?) get my mom’s handbag back when she left it in Asakusa Statiion. Also there is a fabulous fruit store across the street very useful for breakfast. Recommended!

This Mimaru had hair straightener/curler for rent which was really convenient as well as hot pot and Takoyaki maker. Not that we used it but it was interesting to see different perks from different Mimaru hotels.

Our family of 5 stayed in the Superior Family Apartment for 6 which is spacious for us. Room is clean and it's nice to have the toilet separated from the bathroom. I like the dining area and little kitchen as well. The hotel is walkable to many shops, restaurants and stations but it's at a quiet location. Staff is polite and helpful. Everything is great. I personally would love hotter shower though.

Lovely apart-hotel with well-equipped kitchenette located about a 10-minute walk away from the main shopping street (Chuo Dori). The hotel is in a quiet and safe part of town yet still within walking distance to all the action, bright lights, and bustling streets. Between Chuo Dori and the hotel, there are several little eateries/cafes and convenience stores… and just in front of the hotel, there is a small but busy grocery store that sells all the essentials you’ll need to cook yourself a nice Asian meal from scratch (e.g., rice, tofu, chicken/pork, fresh vegetables etc.). We stayed four nights in a four single bed apartment. The room layout was thoughtfully planned to maximise space, and we really appreciated the dining area. Front desk staff were always super friendly, relaxed and very welcoming. The Kuro-go baggage delivery service that the hotel offered was fantastic – it made the trip to the airport an absolute breeze. Thank you so much for a very pleasant stay, Hotel Mimaru Tokyo Ginza East!

Aircon gave us raspy throat. It was never cleaned properly. Cleaned twice in a week for 5-10minutes. Damp room on the side of a busy highway. One elevator used by cleaning staff .. it can take 20 minutes to wait. Can hear the room above through wooden floor. No access to water. No amenities.

Take, our desk manager, helped us move to a new room after our original room had a malfunctioning AC unit at the peak of the Tokyo summer. He also gave us some great local guidance to eateries and gave us great navigation help for the subway trains. His smile and friendliness along with the rest of the staff there made this stay memorable.

This location is within about 10mins or less walk to 3 local subway lines, and one line goes express direct to Haneda. It was also a short 15-20 walk over to Ginza, Tsukiji Market, and the Sumida River. It was also a 15-20 minute walk to Yurakucho and Tokyo stations.

The 6-Person family room itself was meccha spacious with an actual walk-in closet. Beds were comfy and pillows ranged from firm to soft. Kids loved the bunks. The dining table and booths in the room were perfect for the days we did takeout on the rainy days. The clean and cold Fridge was perfect for all the nearby Lawson drinks and goodies. Their kitchen would have been nice to use if we had thought to goto the fruit market across the street. Be sure to take advantage of the free rental of the appleTV.

This area was fairly quiet, but as it is literally next to an expressway, the motorbikes and racers could be heard about 2-3am, probably the only big negative if you’re a light sleeper. It does take some effort to goto the stations or other locations, but we prefer to be away from huge tourist-crowded locations and this location and facility worked great for us.

Our group of six stayed in the superior family apartment, and it was the perfect amount of space. Everyone had their own bed, and the kitchen was stocked with cups, plates, utensils, microwave, fridge, cooktop - everything you needed to make a simple meal or breakfast. Having a full size dining table that could comfortably seat six was also a huge benefit. Everything was very clean and in good condition. There is coin laundry on the ground floor. The location is in a quiet residential area, but there are lots of small shops and restaurants within a short walking distance. Subway was close by and Uber also made it easy to get around.

The staff was very helpful, we actually checked out for a side trip to Kyoto and returned two days later; they can store luggage for a small fee. Everyone was very helpful and kind especially with the kids. Highly recommend for families or anyone who likes to have more space than the typical tiny hotel room.

Very spacious, beds are especially comfy.
Well designed use of space, great the toilet is a separate space from the sink and is a separate space from the shower / tub.
Less amenities (no in room robe, heavier duty slippers, toothbrush/paste, etc..) than the usual Japanese hotel, which the hotel did inform us in advance. However they do ask you upon check in whether you’d like slippers (take them, the hotel rooms have aged thin carpet), and there’s a little stand with individual packs of face wash, face toner and face lotion, along with robes for your comfort should you want to take advantage (we did not).
Super convenient there is laundry facility and laundry service (where you drop off your bag of laundry at the front desk and they deliver it back clean 2 days after). We tried that but the service screwed up and we ended up washing the clothes on the first floor (3 washers at 400 yen per wash / 3 dryers at 100 yen for 30min).
Housekeeping replaces towels, makes beds, takes out trash daily and vacuums every 4th day (they don’t clean the sink or scrub the toilet).
Kitchen is super convenient with rentable kitchen countertop appliances (toaster, rice cooker, grill).
Location is about 10min from Metro (take note if you have littles but we did not have that problem and loved getting the steps in). Super convenient 7-11 and Larsons in opposite direction, two min away from hotel.

Big room in Tokyo

The space is big relative to rooms in Tokyo. This is an apartment hotel so it should not be compared to a regular hotel in terms of services. For us, the primary consideration was the room space for a family of 4 adults. There’s a dining table, mini kitchen, separate bath from the toilet. Distance from several train stations ranges from 350m to 1km. Tokyo Station is just 1km away. It’s a good distance to walk after running the Tokyo Marathon. Tsukiji Market, Ginza stores and shops are within walking distance. It’s 2km to the Imperial Palace which has a 5km running loop, so the 2km distance can be your warm up and cool down after doing 2 or more loops. You can also run at the Sumida river banks. Overall, it’s a good stay at Mimaru Ginza East.

Overall the property was clean, spacious, and in a safe area. It is a about a 5 minute walk to a subway, and 10-15 minute walk to the fish market or Tokyo Station.

The only down side was the lack of transparency on cost of a lost keycard. Not used to keycards having any value in the US. The cost was 1000 yen at check out for the lost card.

Room is smaller than shown in picture.

No washing machine in room, hotel has 3 laundry machines and 3 dryers for all the residents, led to a long queue. Recommend to wash after midnight.

No view from the window, just another building. Pillows too soft, but bed was firm.

Mimaru Tokyo Ginza East is an excellent hotel. It was perfect for my family (2 adults and 2 children) and the kids loved the bunk beds. It is walking distance to a lot of places, including the subways. (To get here from Narita airport, take the Keisei Skyliner bullet train to Aoto station, and then from there take the subway to Takarocho station. The hotel is about a 5-10 min walk from Takarocho). Tsukiji Outer Market is also a 15 min walk from the hotel. The staff is very accommodating and they helped me fill out the forms for Yamato to ship my luggage to my next hotel. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe and I would definitely stay here again.

An excellent hotel in a fantastic location.

It was a great stay. Excellent location with lots of different train and metro stations around to get to almost anywhere in Tokyo. Big room for my family with all the amenities you need - kitchen included. If I had to nitpick - under the bed and chairs were not vacuumed before we checked in, there are no blackout curtains so some light does get in from around blinds and shutter screen and they charged for a 1 hour late check out. Very minor hence the 5 star review still. Thank you for an excellent stay.

We arrived from Haneda in the evening. It was about ten minute walking distance from the subway.
We reserved a Japanese pub next door of the property.
The restaurant was very nice and cozy.

We recently took a family trip to Japan and needed a place to stay in Tokyo that was near Tokyo Station (for JR train and shinkansen lines, about a 10-min taxi ride away) and about a 10- to 15-minute walk to Kyobashi subway station. Mimaru Tokyo Ginza East Hotel was a great option as our total group was 4 adults and 2 teenagers, and from what I can tell is one of the few options that offers a single room that can accommodate more than 2 or 3 guests.

We booked the Deluxe Family Apartment room that accommodates 6 guests. It worked out great as there were 4 single beds and 1 bunk bed that the kids enjoyed. There were 2 sinks in the bathroom and 1 sink as part of the kitchenette area. There was only a single toilet, but this did not pose any issues for us during our stay.

We will definitely consider booking Mimaru Hotel for a future trip.

My family and i had the best time here! The staff is superb! Very friendly and very helpful. I accidentally forgot a bag of gifts that i purchased and the hotel called to tell me that i left it and even went above and beyond to send it to my next hotel location. By far the best hotel i have stayed at in japan! I am so very grateful.

We loved our stay here. Absolutely amazing little place with convenient access to all the main lines and just a 15 minute walk from Tokyo station. Clean, tidy and very slick with lovely reception staff. Definitely recommended.

Nice appartement hotel

It’s a very good size of appartement hotel. The staffs are very nice and helpful. It’s just too bad that it’s not quite convenient to travel around because you have to walk for at least 10-18 mins to stations.
