Pretty convenient location to many subway lines and would only be a 20-30min subway to many main attractions and at a much more affordable rate. Everything is pretty good outside of the laundry situation. Dryer doesn't dry as much, and requires a key for entry which causes it to be a bit tedious. TV did not have many options either, so try to bring a firestick/download a movie. Outside of that, everything is good, its cheap, really good location, and great A/C, even has a good restaurant next door.

The hotel was very close to two subway lines. We bought 72-hour Tokyo Subway Tickets at the front desk and explored the city mostly by subway.

There were convenient stores nearby, but the supermarkets in this area were relatively small and had limited selection of fruits (We liked to taste local in-season fruits on our trips).

The room was small, but we still had enough room to lay two suitcases flat on the floor. The amenities were a little dated, and the bathroom smelled a bit moldy, but the visible spaces were clean.

The only real complaint was that breakfast lacked variety. There were 3 set menu choices, Japanese, Western, and congee. We tried Japanese and congee during our multi day stay, and the items in each choice basically remained the same. Had we known that beforehand, we would not have booked room with breakfast. Instead, we would have bought things from the convenient store next door. The Honganji Cafe Tsumugi nearby also served breakfast (but it could be busy as it appeared to be a popular place in the morning).

Really convenient location to a couple of metro lines and a 5 or so minute walk to the fish market. Efficient check-in and a good hotel for eco-conscious travellers. Rooms are small, as is standard for Tokyo. I'd recommend the twin bed for couples wanting space.

Reasonably priced and clean hotel that is aging. I am sure they are doing some updates soon. For us it was an excellent to walk to the Tsukiji market first thing in the morning. It was a short walk and allowed us to move on to other adventures planned for the day. This is also reasonably walkable to lots of high class shopping.

We stayed there for one night and it was great. Customer service helped us alot. They offer a bus to Tokyo station for free. There is a laundromat and it's free to use (they also sell laundry detergent). It's less than a 10 min walk to the fish market.

The hotel is very close to the metro station. There are some restaurants around. The room is very typical of hotel rooms in Japan, which means it was very small, but also it was very clean. No complaints since I booked the room last minute (20 minutes before I checked-in). Staff was friendly.

Got to the hotel way before checkin so the hotel stored our suitcases for us while we went out. Staff are friendly and helpfully. We managed to book a tour for 6 just a day in advance at the hotel. Could do with tea/coffee in the room as all they had was green tea, not a big issue since convenient stores are so close. Hotel is so close to a metro station and is in a quiet area however never felt scared walking around at night. Really good rates for 3 beds (which is hard to find in Tokyo).

No general complaints. Only good things to report. Ginza is a great part of town and I was happy I stayed there. I stayed in two other parts of Tokyo (one being shinjuku) and wanted to go back to Ginza once I left. The hotel room I booked was surprisingly small, but being alone I didn’t mind. I wouldn’t put more than two people in that room because of the size. There are vending machines in the hotel which was nice and they supply you with small essential things such as toothbrush, hair brush, ear swabs, etc. Hotel staff was nice and welcoming. For the price, this was a great stay.

Hotel is in a great location. Within 2 blocks of two stations. However both stations have steps only so I hope you pack light. We stayed one night because we wanted to be near Tokyo station. Price was very reasonable. Lawson’s right next door and within a few blocks of 7-11 and 100 yen store. Lots of restaurants within 2-3 blocks. We had a triple room. Was within standards of Japanese room. I would recommend it.

This place totally fits my need as I was traveling alone and what I wanted is simply a single room with certain level of tidiness and cleanliness and bargain rates. Regarding the transport, it is close to two different metro stations that have access to two different metro lines, which was convenient to me as I bought the 72h metro pass.

Hotel was indeed easily accessible via Tsukiji Metro Station or Shintomichi station. Front Desk staff are superb - they have ready answers to all my queries. Hotel even has a easy map listing the restaurants [with their operating hours] in the vicinity. Housekeeping was also very efficient and thorough. Room was always kept clean and have ready room-deodorizer sprays, which is a plus to maintain clean smelling air in the space efficient room.

Few blocks from Fish Market. Close to metro lines. Shuttle bus to Narita right in front (if flying Haneda, take taxi (about 9000 yen) to Toyosu station and catch \"Limo bus\" to Haneda (720 yen/person). Limo bus stop is orange & located on circular road adjacent.
Room quiet but very small. Note: checkout time is 10am!!!!
Get the breakfast and try the Japanese foods--miso salmon, saba mackeral, seaweed, sweet beans, pickled cabbage, clams, carmelized liitle white fish-- all tidbits meant to be eaten w white rice. Fantastic!! If you just want toast and bacon, they have that too but why are you in Japan?

Overall experience was good. However nothing too hooha about. The hotel is in prime location near to tsukiji market and Ginza. However, nearest food stall is a bit of walk. Good thing that there is a convenience store next to the hotel. The hotel was a it rigid though, i had arrived at the hotel slightly earlier but wasn't allowed to get the room key due to the check in time was later in the afternoon. I had already made an request to the hotel for early check in due to I have an infant with me and would like to freshen up for the day. Unfortunately the request wasn't entertained.

While rooms are small, I expected such. The room still has everything we needed. Not sure about other comments I read about air conditioning and not being able to adjust. The headboard has buttons to do so. Two metro lines are within a block of the hotel, making everything accessible. Starbucks two blocks away. Breakfast, mainly Japanese but with a few Western options, worked just fine for my two young children and myself.

If you are arriving from Tokyo Station the take the Maranouchi line to Ginza (one stop) and change to the Hibiya line to get to Tsukiji subway station (two stops from Ginza). The best exit is Exit 3 and if you manage to find it you come out of it and walk straight for about 200m (past Denny and beside a Lawson convenience store) You won't see the Ginza Capital Annex until you are right beside it. It is before the bridge. Note: if you come out of Exit 2 crooks the main road immediately and turn left walking straight for 300m. You will pass exit 3 on this route.

By the way, for snacks turn right out of the hotel, cross the bridge and about 50 meters straight on there is a great convenience store with a much better range than Lawson or 7 Eleven (a branch of which is furthe along if you need an ATM)

Two hotels with same name

There are two hotels with same name and expedia shows one address. In a country where few speak english need to be exact re hotel name and address. Taxi took me to Capital Hotel but i needed to be at Capital Hotel Annex. I knew i needed to be at other hotel but no one at hotel spoke english and it took them 45 minutes to figure out what i already knew. Frustrating.

Felt like I was being kicked out of the Hotel

The hotel has an unfair check in and check out policy. Customers cannot check in before 3 pm and they must check out by 10 am. I have never stayed in a hotel where the check out policy was so early. Furthermore, I was going down on my way out to check out, the phone ran and it was the front desk calling to remind me that the check out time was 10am. I was already on my way out at 10:15am. I will not stayed in this hotel ever again.

Location less than a $10 dollar taxi ride from Tokyo Station. Walking distance to Tsukiji fish market and near to two subway stations. Lawson market next door for cheap snacks. Staff very helpful in arranging tours with HATO tours which sends a bus to pick up outside the hotel. Free coffee in lobby in the AM. Free shuttle back to Tokyo stain in the mornings. Hotel rooms somewhat dated but very clean with a fancy Japanese toilet and soaking tub in your room.

We found the Ginza Capital Hotel Annex a very convenient place to stay for our recent visit to Tokyo. They are near the Tsukiji Fish Market (so very near very fresh sushi!) and several metro stations, making getting around Tokyo quite easy. The hotel also runs 3 transfer shuttles to Tokyo Station every morning and the breakfast buffet offers a substantial array of both Western and Japanese breakfast items. The staff are also very helpful. We left the hotel for a few days to visit Kyoto, and we were allowed to store our luggage there until we returned. The rooms are not huge, but this is Tokyo, after all, and space is at a premium. The Lawson's convenience store next door was also very convenient.

Very handy location to the fish market and the subway. Hotel had a 2 days unlimited subway travel on offer for excellent value. Hotel does not have any English TV. You do need to walk 10-15 minutes to find more choices in restaurants.

The plus: It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Tsukiji Fish Market if you know where you're going. There's two train stations nearby, the Shintomicho Station and the Tsukiji Station (although neither one JR). And I wasn't expecting it but they had free WIFI for our rooms. They spoke enough English for me to check-in and out so that was good. The negatives: The room is small as expected. There was barely enough room for our luggages. It doesn't feel very clean. They use real slippers and \"clean them\" inbetween guests. I found a hair on the bed that most likely did not come from someone's head. And the bathroom looked like I stepped into a bathroom on an airplane. There was a gap between the tub and wall that freaked me out and it looked like something was recently ripped off the wall (like maybe an old soap dispenser?). In hindsight, I probably would have shelled out a couple more bucks for a slightly nicer hotel.

A typical business hotel

This is a typical business hotel, hence, if you'd choose to stay here, be prepared to stay in a very tiny room. The room only fits a full-sized bed and a small compartmentalized bathroom, which are typical elements of a business hotel. The location is amazing -- one minute walk from Tsukiji Station on Hibiya Line and right in the heart of Ginza district. We didn't get a lot of service because the hotel seemed understaffed when we were there. None of the things that we requested got delivered to our room, and we had to go down to the reception three times as the keycard didn't work three times! The last tenant must have smoked in the room so we had to suffer (although it's clear that the room was a \"non-smoking\" room so we weren't sure about the policy or how and why they got this room for us). There also wasn't wi-fi in the room, which was weird since it should be one of the most important facilities of a business hotel so that was very inconvenient. We probably wouldn't stay there again although we liked the location of the hotel very much.

Spotlessly clean room with private bathroom, friendly staff and very close to the subway/metro. A short walk to the Tokyo fish market and plenty of local restaurants and cafes. While not right in the middle of the action it was very convenient to get around the city. The room had wired Internet but a WIFI adapter was provided for a small deposit. The hotel also sells travel cards for the subway which make travel much simpler as fares vary based on distance. Also just a 10 minute taxi ride to the Airport bus terminal for very frequent transport to and from both airports.
