It’s not going to be the fanciest place, but it’s decent and clean and has become my go to when I’m in Rock Hill. It’s not expensive, it’s clean, they have a breakfast included (waffles, eggs, yogurt, sausage), it’s close to everything (Winthrop Univ., all the restaurants, grocery store, Walmart), the staff is super friendly and it’s right off the highway for easy access. The air conditioner/heater always works, showers have hot water. I really have no complaints about this hotel. There is no elevator, but there’s only 2 floors. They do allow pets- that’s a positive for some and a negative for others.

Most of the outlets in the room either didn't work at all or were very loose and wouldn't keep a plug in them. There was a used bar of soap in the shower. Other than that it was a decent room. We didn't spend a lot of time in there, just slept as we were there for a volleyball tournament. The breakfast was decent. Not sure I'll stay here again.

To make matters worse the “service” was rude, unprofessional, and unapologetic for the way our experience started. We checked out a night early and paid full price for a room down the road. The hotel still hasn’t responded to hotels.com to say whether or not they are willing to refund the night that we didn’t stay.

I had kept in touch with the hotel to let them know my status as early in day flight was being rebooked. Once i knew Charlotte airport was on a groundstop I let the hotel know I would not make it.
