Great Location... right by Virginia Tech. We were in the handicap room and it very spacious. Rooms were very clean. They are doing renovations but it was not an issue. Check in and out was very easy. Got it at a great rate since it was not a busy weekend.

They are suffering through a renovation just now that meant no restaurant or onsite food service. I look forward to visiting again when they have completed the renovations. Beautiful property. Nice people.

Currently the restaurant and other part of the hotel is undergoing renovations. Over the weekend there was no construction happening, so no noise issues, but parts were closed off and there was a small grab and go breakfast. The open parts were very nice and expect it will be good once everything has reopened.

We were not made aware when we made the reservation that the lounge and restaurant were closed and undergoing renovation; we would have liked to have known that. We had been traveling all day and wanted to have a nice meal and a couple of drinks. The room service was too limited, and the food was mediocre at best and delivered literally in a plastic bag. This did not match up with the ratings received or the beautiful surroundings of the property on campus. We were disappointed. The rooms were nice but dated. The photos on Expedia did not match what we actually saw.

This is my second stay at the end. Rooms are clean and well-maintained. Walls are thin, so I heard people talking early in the morning. Front desk staff or professional, but not very helpful. Hospitality staff was by far the most accommodating and helpful. The restaurant was under construction so the $16 breakfast was in a lobby area with options of eggs, sausage, bacon, and potatoes. Also, there was no area that offered complementary coffee.

I can’t say enough about this place. I’ve always loved staying there. It’s right in the center of everything. The staff are so delightful. The beds are very comfortable. Everything is maintained to a top level. I’ve never seen a crack or mechanical issue anywhere. The gym is wonderful as well. I’ll miss coming here when my Hokie graduates.

I always love how beautiful it is nestled amongst beautiful rolling hills. It’s solitary right in the middle of VT action. It’s so peaceful to me. The food is wonderful, the staff very nice. I love the exercise room too where I can look out at the beautiful outdoors!

The staff was fantastic, the hotel building and lobby were beautiful, breakfast was very good. The only thing that made it not a full five star review was that the room itself was slightly aged feeling and could have used a refresh. Otherwise, a really excellent stay and we would stay again without hesitation! It was an incredibly convenient location for a campus tour, of course, but it seemed like a great business hotel as well.
