Room was so dusty and dirty on shelfs in bathroom. Carpet floors in hallways are filthy. I was given a smokers room. It was gross! I had to sleep with my shirt over my nose and my hair then smelled like smoke. Come to find I was to be asked if if wanted a smokers room. Didn't know about that till I mentioned to manager on duty next morning at check out. I was very disappointed!

I booked this stay last min on our road trip coming home, I wanted to stay near the lake and it was a good price. little did I know the pool was down for maintenance, not their fault I should have double checked, but when I paid on my hotels.com app there was a 'resort fee' in the total which i am use to but when i checked in to the hotel, they hold $116 for incidentals and a resort fee, but when I checked out they returned the $100 but I owed the $16 resort fee, that was new to me, maybe it as an Indiana thing, I'm from MN so it was just different. the Casino was nice, bigger than I thought it would be, the only food available at the time was a bistro and the prices were exorbitant! I frequent MANY Casinos throughout the year and I always end up eating at them, but $7 for a fruit cup seems a bit pricey. $16 for a panini with no sides, again a bit pricey.
the room was nice, beds were springy which is not uncommon, I liked the shower, it was a roomy stand up only but the water never got hot enough to take a shower, it was room temp at best, the sink got hot... that was disappointing as we had been on the road for 8 hours and wanted a hot shower.

all in all, i would not be back to stay here, if its the only option around i can see why its a draw which is unfortunate, very pretty inside, loved the lighting and ambiance but that's it.

We arrived to check in & there was a sign the POOL was closed! We had planned on frequent use of the pool. Check in staff said it was widely stated on their website, but we used Expedia & it was not. Very disappointed. The Good: Food at Lakeside cafe was excellent! The bands in the bar by the casino were great! Even the country one & I usually don't like country. The Bad: The beds were awful, lumpy & squeaky, pillows were so uncomfortable flat & hard. We were looking for the Sports bar to watch NBA, the bartender told us to go to the Table game supervisor to have him change the channel, I did but TVs were too small to see. Asked about the Sports bar & the bartender said they don't have one, but later my husband found it! This bartender clearly does not like his job or Blue Chip for that matter! The Ugly: Lost terribly in the casino, slots were very tight. And they offer no Play money when you open a card. In conclusion: We will not be back

Room although sold as premium felt basic. Sink was blocked - staff were quick to send someone to fix. Booked as a stay for my birthday whilst on US road trip but nothing was acknowledged. Lady at check in was a little rude and not very knowledgeable, didn’t really give us any info about the hotel. Pool and hot tubs were closed. Spa not part of the hotel which we didn’t know and why we booked the property so could t use that. Gym was pretty run down and basic. It was Smokey which we were expecting but it wasn’t very pleasant in the public spaces. Probably wouldn’t pay to stay again.

The stay was fine, but the hotel/casino charges a “resort fee” of $16.79 per day, this means if you stay one night, you get charged the resort fee twice. My husband, baby, & I were there from 11pm (coming back from a wedding) til 7am when we left to go home. $33.58 in fees for 8 hours feels ridiculous. Plus the pool, (which is claimed to be part of the “resort”) is closed for renovations & the fee remains unchanged.

A beautiful hotel, clean with great staff.
The food at the Lakeside kitchen restaurant was really good.

The gym was very difficult to find. Had to ask two persons before we found it.

Unfortunately the spa, the pool and the steakhouse were closed during our stay.

Lighthouse outlets near if you don’t like the casino.

I had come for my Bachelorette trip and picked this hotel due to pool and hot tub amenities, at check in we learned they have been closed for a month. Our covers has stains on them, the rooms weren't horrible but we had no fitted sheets just a bunch of flat sheets which made it difficult to sleep without getting tangled.

First of all we had a great time and would stay there again. Everyone is very nice and friendly. Just a few things. We reported to the desk each day that the shower was backing up. They asked if maintenance could come in the room while we were there and we said yes. Maintenance never came and with 4 people in a room, it's not pleasant standing in someone else's shower water each day. The pool was down for maintenance and you couldn't even use the work out facility until 9am. Most of use like to get a workout in first thing in the morning especially when it's raining out. That was really disappointing especially since you are forced to pay a resort fee for the pool and amenities. Again, we had a fun time, but these were a bummer.

We were there for just a quick overnight. The self check in did not work and it took a minute to get a real person at the desk. The pool and spa were out of order but we did not plan to use them. We did not visit the casino while we were there. This is a good place for a reasonable overnight that is away from the main drag and other chain hotels.

The room was clean and well maintained, the property was definitely well taken care of. The pool, however, was closed due to maintenance and the coffee machine never worked in the only breakfast place to get a coffee. I missed that it's a smoking casino, something I typically wouldn't spend time at, but overall it was a good experience. They were a bit short staffed and couldn't open certain gaming tables bc of it and the area around the resort didn't have much else going on but we had a good time regardless.

I hate to say this because I really did enjoy the room, the service, the casino and all. But the pool was closed during our stay, which was entirely the reason we chose this hotel over another. It was too late to make other accommodations by the time we checked in, and it was only made clear to us at the service desk that the pool was out of commission. I know it's not a huge thing, but again, it's the entire reason we hinged out stay on this location and it feels like a bait and switch to show up and have it not work. So, I can't give a good review.

The property was clean kept. Smelled nice inside. Floors seemed clean. Machines seemed clean. We had a King Room in the Spa tower. The room overall was clean. The only thing I noticed was there was alot of dust on the side tables, the lamp and the alarm clock. The desk wasnt cleaned well either. There was a mark from a cup and some smudges from other stuff that looked food related. Ive paid more for much worse so overall I was happy with our stay. Hopefully they just pay more attention to the smaller details of cleaning next time.

Steakhouse was closed and they turned the sports bar into a sports gaming room (that was empty) so there really was no place to eat on property which is a little ridiculous. There was a walk up deli place, but I wanted sit down meal.

The parking lot to get into the rooms is a far walk. it's not convenient when you're carrying luggage.
You have to pay a mandatory resort fee but you get nothing for it. I was looking forward to using the pool, but at check in there was a sign saying that it was closed. What is the resort fee for when there are no amenities?!
We stayed here a few years ago and I believe we had a better stay then. We won't be staying here again.

The Entire pool and hot tub area was shut down during our entire stay over the weekend. Had we known they were shut down we probably would've stayed elsewhere. The room bathroom had a drainage problem in the sink and had chunks of some kind of leftover strawberries in it. Kind of ridiculous all the way around.

Thr building smelled heavy of smoke. Luckily our room was ok & clean. Check in lady was nice. Wish we'd known ahead of time that the steakhouse was closed. We were looking forward to a nice dinner. Had to go elsewhere. The casino was ok. Many empty cups of cigarettes beside or on the machines. The band that night was great! That was a plus. I wouldn't go back.

We came to relax not gamble. Only to be told at check in that the pool and hot tubs were closed due to some mechanical issue. Spent almost our entire stay in our room. Hotel was practically empty but gave us a room on 2nd floor with no view. Room was clean but carpet very worn. Bed was horribly uncomfortable.

My wife and I booked a room with the expectations of getting in the pool and the hot tub, we packed our swimsuits and when we got to the hotel they said the pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance. A notice on their website would have been nice or an email notice because then I would have booked a different hotel that had an available pool and hot tub.

I tried to check in online and it didn’t let me. Unsure if it was a hotel problem or Expedia problem. When I got to the hotel I tried to use the self check-in machine and it didn’t find my reservation. There was only on customer service representative at the counter. She was VERY nice though, so that helped!

The carpets can use a little cleaning, they seem dirty and dingy.

Parking is green. Staff is great casino is awesome. Main restaurant is closed and the other fine dining restaurant doesn’t allow you to take the food up to your room. The pool had some issues with hair being on the pool deck 2 days in a row. In our room first thing we noticed as we entered was a dead fly on our table and another fly on our lamp.
