This is an older motel and you can tell by the carpet and lack of electrical outlets! There is no elevator, so you have to climb up to the second floor. I had requested mobility accommodations, but the closest they came was putting me in the first room at the top of the stairs. Since the other motels were full and very expensive, we made do. I really missed having grab bars in the bathroom. We had to be creative to plug in our phones, hearing aids, and CPAP machines. On the last morning, the TV remote stopped working, so we couldn't watch news or weather before leaving.

The room was clean, beds were fine, AC worked and the bathroom was clean and spacious. The only negative i would say is that the area that the hotel is in is pretty sketchy. We went to go eat after 7pm and the cops had already been called by someone at the hotel.

They require a 50 dollar cash deposit, which is fine, except they don’t tell you that prior nor do they have an atm. So when you arrive at midnight after being on the road all day. Last thing you wanna hear from a hotel that you’ve already paid for is to go back into the wilderness and find an atm

This is not a 5 star hotel but was also not priced as such. Was great for what we wanted, a place to stay overnight on our trip. Only weird thing was that they wanted a $50 cash deposit in order to stay the night. We got it back when we checked out but never had that before. Good thing we had it as we usually do not carry that much cash.

The hair dryer caught fire. I turned it off and unplugged it. When I looked closer at the plug, I saw the saftey feature (circuit breaker plug) had been disabled and been covered over with electrical tape to hide the fact.

Overall the stay was good, unfortunately when I setup the reservation, there was no mention of a incidentals fee (deposit) to stay at the hotel. This will cause this or any other hotel to lose business. Items like this should be mentioned in the reservation app, regardless of which app it is.

Person at front desk not the friendliest, a little difficult to understand. We had to leave a cash deposit for incidentals because we paid in advance with you app. We were on way home from trip and needed a room to rest for night and this was only one available. The $200 plus price tag is about $150 over priced. We will not use again.

Very clean, super friendly staff, comfy beds. Only 2 complaints….the room smelled a little funky due to the ac unit. It had a damp smell all weekend. Not a big enough deal to switch rooms though. The other complaint was that I went to the front desk in the evening to grab a few extra towels and the gentleman told me he didn’t have access to extra towels so if you need extra, get them when the cleaning staff is there.

Great price, very personable and helpful desk attendant. Property is taken care of. Always parking available. Close to gas stations, food, shopping, bars and restaurants. Small room but space set up well with table for 2, mini fridge, dresser, TV. Room was nice and clean and well kept.

Clean comfortable room. I believe it was renovated not too long ago. Hot water was great fridge and microwave there also. Breakfast is no longer served since covid so that is the only thing you need to be aware of but there are plenty of restaurants very close by. Very safe area lots and lots of shopping

It was a terrible snow storm , so I get it , but not even shoveling your front door area so people can get in ? It was up to my knees. The person at the desk said my CC didn’t work and charged me on another card even though I told him I had pre-paid thru Hotels. The keys cards to the room didn’t work , when I took them back and told him he said I must have held them near my cell phone???! He gave me 2 more cards , also didn’t work. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable . It was fine for 1 nite and to get out of the storm.

I was extremely disappointed to purchase a King room on the first floor but to be given a second floor (no elevator) room, closest to the road. Loud traffic all night. Horrible shower. Grumpy staff. I will never book this hotel again… likely never use this chain of hotels either.

The staff was friendly and very accomodating. There wasnt always someone at the front desk but you could call them. We could walk around the area a little bit and felt in safe surroundings.
The room appeared clean. The hotel offers maid services upon request which we did not do. Bring conditioner - they only have shampoo. The room was comfortable but i had to go down a score because of smell. Even after getting the air conditioner going it would smell as we were entering. I kept a candle burning when we were in the room. The smell was the only issue we came across. Otherwise the accommodations AND staff were great for a cheap little stay by the dunes! It was cheap and a nice getaway !

Found a cockroach in my room. Right on top of the dresser. My son took a video and the guy at the front desk told me there was no way...\"that room was just cleaned\". I paid an extra $10 to get a room on the 2nd floor. There were no rooms available on the 2nd floor. They would not reimburse my $10. I did get a different room. Didn't see any cockroaches. Wouldn't stay there again.

This was a weekend getaway. We found the hotel very comfortable. Staff were friendly & accommodating. The lobby, room , and outside area was clean & safe. Stores & restaurants were close by. It is conveniently located close enough to the Interstate to be easily assessable yet far enough away to not be a noise problem. The staff were amazing in that they accommodated our need for 1st floor since they only have stairs. The room looked like it was newly renovated. Very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Our favorite thing about room was the cold but very quiet air conditioner. Best hotel we have stayed in with a reasonable price.

We purposely chose this Super 8 because of the name and the fact that there was breakfast.
