Check in is easy, front desk only says two sentences to you. No elevator so get ready to carry everything. I'm pregnant and this was very hard for me. Rooms aren't cleaned correctly, if at all. My bed had rust stains, blood stains and who knows what else I found. Bathroom was cleaned at? But not clean. It was not a comfortable experience

The check in staff was friendly and gave us a choice of floors since there wasn’t an elevator. However, the bathroom is in need of repair. The toilet was not secured to the floor it rocks when being used. The tub/shower needs caulking. Housekeeping knocked on our door prior to check out even though we only stayed one night. One minor annoyance that I didn’t bring up since I was there for a short time is that when the fan isn’t set to continuous, it squeals when it shuts off and sounds like someone coming in a door. Just FYI—I think the water temp is way too hot. Someone could get burned!

After reading some of the reviews I was a bit apprehensive, but we had traveled from California to attend a wedding and between the airfare, car rental, and all the wedding-related expenses, costs were really mounting up. We needed a budget-friendly accommodation, so I went ahead and booked. From everything I observed, the hotel is clean and well-maintained. Our room was clean, in good condition, and the bed was comfortable. Housekeeping even came in and turned the room over for us while we were out, and I've noticed that not many places do that anymore unless you specifically request it. I'd read reviews complaining that there were no hot options at breakfast, but that was not our experience. There were hot options such as eggs, sausage, and waffle maker, available every morning of our 3-day stay, as well as cereal, yogurt, and toast/muffins. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is decent; not in the town center, but still just a few minutes' drive to the main attractions. There's a shopping center across the street with a grocery store, and a Bob Evans on the corner. If I'm ever back in Holland looking for a budget-friendly accommodation, I'd stay again.

However our bedroom floor was sticky and shower/bathroom floor had a puddle of water between toilet and shower and there was a used washcloth hanging on the shower curtain. That was disgusting, but at 230am, we just dealt with it.

Bedbugs! We were very discrete in bringing it to their attention. We asked for one of our three rooms to be refunded to offset the cost of spending 3 hours at the laundromat cleaning out clothes, luggage etc. That was on the 4th of July. So far, nothing.

The staff was great and really the place itself was fine - it’s exactly what you’d expect in this price range. Location - in terms of being close to the Dunes/beach is what sold it for us. The one downside - everything was damp in our room. Clothes were damp and even books and papers we had with us were literally visibly affected. Not sure why/how, but that wasn’t the best.

Room was dirty with a clogged sink. Breakfast was less than desired. Coffee was put out cold as ice until someone complained. Towels that were placed in room had a smell of curry. Called to try and get in 1 hour before check in and they could not accommodate because rooms were not cleaned yet, only to check in and have our rooms dusty, stains on floor and bathtub with sand in it.

The property was close to the Dunes, easy access. Property was not in great shape, the door to the room was not working right hard to open, shut and lock. The key cards would only work one time so every time we went in we would have to get them reactivated. The air conditioning in the room worked but was making a very loud banging noise. The shower curtain would only close about 1/2 was so no privacy. The curtain was moldy! The bathroom door would stick making you think it was locked. The breakfast was pretty much non existent! As a diabetic I need protein at meals. There was NONE! Only hot food was waffles! Also the room smelled of really strong cologne! The staff was not super friendly either. Always seemed to be bothered if you asked the a question. Fortunately we were only in the hotel to sleep!

We reserve two rooms and when we arrived, the lady on staff had a lot of difficulty getting our rooms, clicked in the system her computer and she called the manager, and the manager was not willing to come in and help. The lady at the desk was really wanting to help us And was doing her best, but she admitted she did not have the training she needed to get us the rooms we had paid for she didn’t know what to do and we didn’t know what to do.

This is a very nice hotel for the level it is. It was very convenient to the Dunes Park. There was a bit of noise from the trains that run very close by, but it did not bother us from getting a good night sleep. Breakfast was limited with few healthy choices.

I loved my stay here!!! The room was clean and the shower was hot and had good water pressure. The bed was extremely comfortable as well. I loved the area cause there’s many food options close by and there an Aldi’s grocery store in front of it. I went to the Aldi and got snacks for my room. I would definitely stay here again. They staff were friendly as well.
