Best of Turkish Hospitality!

Excellent hotel and amazing staff that made our stay really great! Our room with hamam was kept clean and stocked with essentials everyday by the wonderful housekeeping. Thanks especially to Yohan who always helped us out by answering our questions and providing honest suggestions and advice!! Hotel is at a prime location; walking distance to all the tourist attractions such as the Topkapi palace and Agia Sophia. It also has an amazing restaurant and mini mart next door to the left if you are in need of essentials or a quick bite. Best point has a delicious and hearty breakfast everyday on the topmost floor as well as great panoramic views. No elevator but staff will help you with luggage if necessary. They also provide tea time and snacks from 2-7pm which is very convenient for a pick me up. One minor complaint was we had a very limited selection of English channels to watch on the TV, so never really could use it on the rainy days. But thankfully they have fast, free Wi-fi so we enjoyed our Netflix shows instead. Single laptop and printer is available for use in the lobby. The entire hotel is non-smoking. Best point hotel provides an authentic Turkish experience at a great value. We would absolutely love to stay here again on future trips to Istanbul! Thanks for a great experience and first impression of Istanbul!

The hotel is located on a great street.. quiet at one end and active on the other end. The staff are friendly and won't spare the effort to help you. The breakfast had many varieties that I didn't see in all of the hotels I stayed at during this trip.. so I would strongly recommend to stay there.. as you also get to be very close from Sultan Ahmet.. love it. And one thing the hotel cab consider.. I just better pillows

Me and my partner stayed here for one week. The staff were all very helpful nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was lovely and the hotel close to all the main attractions.

Nice little hotel in a great location.

We didn't know what to expect as the driver searched narrow streets for the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel when he found if. We were travel weary and Johan immediately made us feel very welcome. Upgraded our room for free. Gave us the name of an excellent restaurant and a shop for last minute shopping close by. We were on our way home, but the hotel is very close to major cultural sites in Istanbul. No hesitation recommending this hotel.

Great hotel & great staff close to all major sights

Fantastic family-run hotel where they paid attention to our every need. We enjoyed the fabulous breakfast on the roof-top terrace as well as the snacks and wine each evening. It saved us lots of money on restaurants.

Superb Stay. Lovely hotel in the heart of it all. We had the room with the balcony overlooking the Blue Mosque and it was so scenic going to sleep and waking up with the mosque in our view. What makes this hotel superb is really simple- the staff. From the moment you walk in, till check out, they go out of their way to take special care of you. Loved the afternoon snacks and I can't even begin to complement the morning breakfast- unlike any other!

Perfect 5 star hotel facilities stay at Istanbul

The rooms were clean and made up everyday. One amazing thing was the service by hotel staff and the view of Blue Mosque during the terrace breakfast. This hotel also provides you with 4-5 different bath soaps to try out, which is really a good way to know what you like before you buy Istanbul soaps.

A Gem

Great hotel! Staff sits you down and welcomes you with wine, nuts and Turkish delights upon arrival. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. The rooms are very nicely decorated, the bathroom amenities include hand made soaps and toothbrushes along with the usual shampoos and lotions. The breakfast buffet is extensive served on the rooftop terrace which has views of the Blue Mosque and the sea. and there is a happy hour every evening. If you have difficulty with stairs though, this hotel is not for you.

Wonderful Boutique Hotel!

The location of this hotel was perfect for our trip. We were greeted with a welcome drink and Turkish delight! The view from their rooftop dining area was wonderful, overlooking the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. The stay also included a complimentary breakfast in the morning which was absolutely delicious with all kinds of tapenades, breads, cheeses, and fruits.

Ideal hotel for Old Town Istanbul

The standard rooms are fairly basic and there is no lift. However, the service from the staff is excellent and more than makes up for the lack of facilities. Staff are on hand to welcome arriving guests with a drink and baklava. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Meze are available free of charge in the lobby in the late afternoon and these are replaced by cakes and pastries at 7 30 pm. Tea/coffee is also freely available.
Breakfast (on the top floor with views over the city) is buffet style but the kitchen will make omelettes if requested. Freshly squeezed orange juice is provided as is an array of fresh fruit and bread/cereals with sweet and savoury items.
The hotel is approximately 10 minutes walk away from the main sights so is ideally located.

Best Point Hotel is the Best Hotel

We had a four night stay and it was great. There were 5 in our party and the owner, Fatih, and his staff could not do enough. The breakfast on the roof terrace was really good, plenty of choice and special requests no trouble. The freshly squeezed orange juice is fab. Fatih will give advice on what to see and how to get there. He will also book restaurants and arrange free transport to the restaurant. We had a very enjoyable stay and will definitely stay at Best Point again.

Great hotel, great location and friendly staff

This was our first experience of visiting Istanbul, for my husband and myself, i had read reviews about this hotel before booking on-line. It was just as expected, it is a small family run business, it has clean, comfortable rooms, and the staff provide great customer service. The staff at reception desk speak good English as well as other languages, they were helpful, and had good knowledge about the area. We were treated with respect and made to feel very welcome, kitchen staff would encourage us to try turkish delights at breakfast which contained a huge selection of foods, fresh fruit, juices, tea, coffee, cheese, meats, cakes etc.etc. The hotel is situated in the old city of Istanbul, just behind the Blue Mosque and just a short walk from Aya Sofia, Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cistern and other famous landmarks. The hotel is situated in a area which is lined with cute gift shops, hotels, cafes and restaurants, it has cobbled streets so walking in high heels could be tricky. The hotel provided complimentary snacks and drinks during the day, which were a welcoming sight each time we stepped into the hotel after a day full of sightseeing. Our room was cleaned and tided-up everyday and towels were changed. We were able to travel on the tramway which was near the Sultan Ahmet Square, by following instructions given by staff and we were able to go on the Bosphorus cruise, and visit the Princes Islands at a fraction of the price charged by tour operators.

Very friendly and welcoming hotel

We had a lovely stay at the Best Point Hotel. The location is great and the staff were all incredibly kind and helpful. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The only negative aspect of the hotel was that I found it a little noisy as our room overlooked the street. It's not a busy road, but there is a fair bit of activity late in the evening and as we sleep with the window open the sound carried into the room. So i would recommend requesting a room at the back. Everything else was lovely, very clean, lovely breakfast and delightful staff.

Some confusion with type of room booked and we complained and then moved to a larger room. Very basic amenities and many stairs. Nice staff, mezes and snacks in the lobby in the afternoon. Great view from breakfast on the rooftop. Noisy during day due to construction across the street. Great location in touristy old town near the Arasta Bazaar.

We were really treated so well by receptions staff. They were fantastic. The staff at the breakfast room seemed overwhelmed with the business of their hotel and really did not have enough room on the breakfast room rood top for all at the same time. However hotel experience was great , great breakfasts welecome drink on arrival and also tapas and glass of wine at 17 h 00 helps budget travellers not really need a dinner. Cobbled streets and in a quiet area. Don't need an alarm clock though as the song from the Mosque nearby wake you on first light- all part of the Trukey experience. Would recommend this hotel try to get upgraded room as we did as I saw the standard rooms and they are a bit dark, but still spacious. great little courtyard. be prepared to climb lots of stairs though . They carry luggage but no lifts. good stay though - would not recommend to elderly travellers due stairs though

Full marks for service, comfort and refreshments!

Staff were very helpful at all times, genuinely so, and very friendly. The variety and quality of food for breakfast on the roof terrace was fantastic (look out for dolphins in the Sea of Marmara in the mornings and the sunset views of the Blue Mosque).
Rooms (we had two different ones in two different stays) were very clean, well kitted out, and comfortable large beds.
Can't fault anything about it.

Great hotel in the Old City

The staff at the Best Point were very refreshing and warm. As soon as we walked in the receptionist had us sit down and asked what we would like to drink and brought baklava to us. The breakfast they serve in the morning is great and it is nice they have afternoon snacks. The location is good, if you want to be in the Old City.

good location close to main sights in sultanahmet

location is good, however it may be a bit difficult to find the hotel as there are many many other hotels in the same area. the rooms were clean enough. breakfast which is included has a variety of foods but most ppl dont really know what to eat. staff are too attentive, giving hotel guests too much attention at breakfast and at the reception. i noticed tip boxes placed around too. the rate was reasonable.

my boyfriend and i spent three nights at this hotel and really enjoyed our stay! the hotel staff members were all very friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. cold beverages were always offered after we made our way back from a day of sightseeing, which was great! the neighborhood has lots of restaurants, although we didn't really have any food that we were super impressed by. the hotel is within walking distance from a ton of historical sites, and it's a short walk to the tram. the breakfast was pretty good too.

This was my first trip to Istanbul and my stay at Best Point has paved the way to many more for sure. This hotel offers the ultimate value for money and the quality of its staff is the icing on the cake. Kick start your day with breakfast on the terrace with fantastic views of the Blue Mosque and the Marmara Sea. No tourist attraction in Sultanahmet is more than a 15 minute walk away from this hotel. You can get precise information on how to plan your day ahead from the hotel staff itself. Getting to Taksim square is also easy with taxis freely available at all times. Brilliant.

Not Recommended - Bad Hotel Facilities and Staff

We bad experience with this hotel from the start. There is NO HEAT in the bathroom. We stayed in February. It was very cold to use the toilet or shower! The breakfast is terrible. Most foods are sweet like cakes that have been there for days. If im going to pay high price, please give me some real hot food. Orange juice is charged separately (they dont tell you it's extra when they ask u if u want OJ, they just hand u the bill to sign with the oj) I came to ask myself what did i really pay for? It said breakfast was included in the room. The staff were very annoying when we ate breakfast because they all just stood there looking at what foods you pick, how much food u take and how you eat. Very annoying. We took a deluxe room and there is no frig or coffee maker in room. if u dont have kitchen, then at least they should have a small coffee maker. The cleaning staff don't know English or how to read basic signs. We put a Privacy sign on door and the cleaning lady just walked in on us! I'm never, never, never going to stay in this hotel! i wanted to leave early but we already paid for the rooms. it should rather be called Worst Point Hotel to better describe their crummy joint. The only positive aspect about this Best Point hotel is the good location to tourist places, but you can find many other better hotels in that area. We also stayed at Erboy during out travel and had a great time and hot yummy breakfast without extra charges!

Highly recommended, would return in a minute!

We had 4 days at Best Point in June 2012, and were perfectly satisfied--the breakfast was incredible (though not ideal if anyone in the party has problems with stairs, since it's served on the roof--from our room it was 2 flights down and 4 up--not a problem for us, but should be mentioned). The staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. The location is ideal for the Sultanahmet sights.

The hotel itself is in a good location. I didn't find the gentlemen at the reception to be very helpful. I felt I had to ask every question in detail and confirm everything. They were not very willing to look up items if they were not familiar with them. We asked for a packed breakfast as we were leaving early the next morning to which we were asked to request anything we wanted. We settled on breakfast arrangements and when we came down in the morning it was not there and we were given a piece of cake. Would not stay here again.

Location, Clean, Friendly Staff

Location is perfect as The Best Point is a short, fun walk to Sultanahmet Square. Our room was very clean and attractively decorated with thoughtful little amenities. Fatih and his staff are at your service and very reliable. Umit came out and settled a dispute with a taxi driver and it ended in our favor as it should have. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety and staff were so friendly. The lobby always has some sort of a treat in the afternoon and they happily bring you your choice of tea or apple tea to go along with the welcome snack. We had a total of 8 nights at the Best Point and were never disappointed. This is \"Our Place\" in Istanbul

This was the best hotel I have stayed in. Staff were brilliant. They went out of their way to help. The breakfast was great. I especially loved the deserts they put out in the foyer in the evening. Tea I am a great tea drinker was available at any time of day or night. I would recommend this hotel to any one wanting to explore the main tourist attractions in Istanbul.

Beware! They try hard, but this hotel needs serious attention and renovation. The room smelt of damp, the pillows were so old they were almost flat, the breakfast offered variety but it was poor quality. Most food was over-sugared. They have very kind photos on their site. The hotel is very close to a railway line (did you want a quiet night?), and some of the surrounding buildings are wrecks. Oh, and you can't have any guests in your own room. The staff were welcoming, but really the best thing about the hotel was its position in Sutanahmet. I actually left for more modern hotel.

The stay at the hotel was just wonderful, the room was small, but very clean, the breakfast was excellent, lots to choose from pastries, sweets, cheese.The location was perfect, close to sight seeing and shopping. Fatih and his staff are highly trained to help and please the customers. At your arrival at the hotel, they welcome you with a turkish coffee and help you to find you way around the city. The hotel is quiet and very well located. I would highly recommend it.

Excellent Location and Service

My husband and I stayed at the Best Point for three nights in Istanbul. Overall we had a fabulous time and highly recommend the hotel. We did have a slight travel snafu, I had requested the airport pickup and sent my flight information which apparently they did not receive (we verified this by both pulling up our emails and I could plainly see they never received our itinerary). They were more than happy to accomodate us however and the owner sent us back to the airport in his personal car free of charge. The staff in general could not be more helpful, they were extremely welcoming and would bring you anything you wanted or requested within reason. Anything non-alcoholic was free of charge. They also had a great breakfast included in the room and free wi-fi which is a must for us when we're traveling without our son. The room itself was nice but nothing particularly special. The bathroom was nice and modern and had a jacuzzi tub, which unfortunately didn't work. The room didn't have a trash can, which was kind of annoying always having to traipse to the bathroom, nor did it have a clock. Minor annoyances but things we noticed nonetheless. As for location, it was down the hill, 60-90 second walk to the hippodrome and courtyard between hagia sophia and blue mosque. We felt safe the entire time. We definitely recommend staying there it was a great deal for the money and near all the tourist attractions in the old city. We will probably be back!

Try other hotels first - then settle for this one.

Be aware that although that guests cannot smoke in the rooms, the staff smokes. And because of the design of the hotel, the smoke travels into the rooms. If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke - STAY AWAY. Staff has an attitude - tries to be helpfu but not frendly. Rooftop dining area was not kept clean - probably because it is winter. However, other hotels had a bustling business going in their patios - if having a view of the sites and ocean is important while dining - STAY AWAY. Towels are only changed every other day - but no place to hang them to dry. And, very little counter space (none) to place shaving/makeup accessories. And, as others have commented, no hot water on our first morning. Lastly, our room was on the first floor came with patio that was viewable from everyone that passed through the hotel - not private. Not a selling feature. And we could hear everything that went on at the front desk which was only 10 feet away - ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT. If you want a nice non-smoking, quiet room, with hot water, with a friendly staff that provides daily maid service - STAY AWAY.

Best Point a Best Choice

From the time we got there to the moment we left Fatih and his staff couldn't do enough. If you asked for anything it was done immediately; though usually you were asked first. Everything was done with a smile and sense of humour. Staff were always helpful and were able to give information and knew what to do, places to go. They even arranged a free taxi to and from a restaurant when we asked for a recommendation for a fish restaurant the first night. the food was excellent and good value. We liked the tips box to put tips in for all staff.
The bed was very comfortable, storage space good and the bathroom very good. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Eggs cooked to order.
The location was excellent; only 10 minutes from the central area with the main tourist sites. Though the hotel was quiet (however nowhere can you truly escape the early call to mosque prayers).
We thought the hotel was excellent value for money with an excellent ambience.
All in all we could not fault the hotel on a single thing. We enjoyed everything and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.
We were really sorry to leave and when we did some of the staff actually came out and waved goodbye.

Excellent stay for almost 2 weeks. The owner is a fabulous host. The rooms are a bit small but inexpensive. Breakfast is superb. The staff will get you anything you anywhere in Istanbul. Five stars in my book.

Best Point Hotel ideal place to stay!

As first timers in Istanbul, the hotel location and staff were great! Fatih the owner was very friendly as well as the rest of staff, all were very accomodatinga and helped us with any queries or recommendations of places to go and see. Best Point is an ideal location, behind the Blue Mosque and minutes walk from the Hagia Sophia. Being located in Sultanahmet it serves best for great transport links (local trams), many of the historic attractions (Blue Mosque,Hagia Sophia, Basillica Cistern, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar and some of the hammams).

Would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for those visiting Istanbul for the first time. Me and my husband thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again! :)

Best hotel staff ever

We were amazed at the efforts of the hotel staff to make our stay enjoyable even to make us soup when we stayed in due to a bad cold. Always warm, friendly, helpful and available. Locaion excellent, very near to the Hagia Sofia and Blue mosque from which most bus sightseeing bus tours operated which we found very interesting. We didn't realise Istanbul had 20 million people, (5 million selling carpets?) There were a few seemingly stray dogs and cats who were well behaved, docile and innoculated and cared for, lovely to see. Would definetly stay here again on a return visit, but at a slightly warmer time of the year. The massed armarda of shipping in the bay waiting to go up the bosphorus strait was a sight to behold.

The rooms are a bit on the smaller side, but we had no intention to spend much time in our room. The breakfast is more than adequate, although after 3 or 4 days it might get a bit tedious, some variation would be nice. The location is very good, although its an uphill walk to the Sultanamet sights. What really made the difference was the staff. Outstanding.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone, idealy situated and also a good breakfast. just behind the Blue mosque, and Tram system is only a 5 minute walk too, Istanbul is easy to explore from this base.
We have stayed here twice now, and are planning to go back again in June 2012.

Best Point Hotel in istanbul-GREAT LOCATION

This hotel was 5 minute walking distance from the spice bazaar, blue mosque, haga sophia, new mosque, and it was surronded by small shops that are much cheaper than the grande bazaar. The staff at best point made our trip they were so helpful and so friendly and available any time we needed them. The owner guided in the best dining and got us discounts for tour buses that showed us both european and asian sides of istanbul. The rooms were a bit small but was very authentic and clean.However we only used the room to sleep at night. Free coffee and turkish delights are always available. They had a wide variety of authentic breakfast items. the Mcdonalds was a 10 minute walk and was open very late. The heating in the room was not as sufficient as we would have liked it to be but gradually increased through our stay. I highly recommend staying at Best Point if you would like to witness turkish hospitality at its finest.

I don't recommend it!

Rooms are very small, the bathroom has no heating! Mr. Fatih, who seemed to be very kind when we arrived, now he was irritated and even arrogant with me just because I dared to claim a solution for our room in wich was cold, because the central heating wasn't working well, half of it being warm and the other half almost cold. And before we had this discussion (on the phone) I announced the problem at the reception. Someone came, checked the central heating and said to wait for 15 - 20 min.We waited even more and there were no changes. I announced them again. Somebody else came, checked again. Of course, nothing changed and it was getting late, my dauther of 5 years old had to sleep.They gave us instead a small radiator with wich we didn't agree because it dries the air very much and my daughter was seek then and she had troubles breathing, but we didn't wanned to fight anymore. We had to wake up at night to turn that thing on if it was to cold and off when it was warm. The owner asked \"you think the air conditioner it doesn't dry the air\"... Maybe it does, mr. Fatih, but the good thing about the air conditioner is that you can set it to a certain temperature! With the same money we could've stayed at Hilton.The reason we didn't is that is rather far from the historical center.AND when we told them that the hotel is not a 4 stars hotel they said \"no, we're not, we're a boutique hotel, expedia gave us 4 stars!!!\".

Best Point Hotel in Istanbul

Best Point Hotel (BPH) has three 'treasures':
1) location - strategically located if you are a turist who wants to enjoy the key monuments;
2) 'breakfast lady' - who prepares abundant and tasty breakfasts; some of the dishes are nice way to learn about the Turkish cusine;
3) BPH staff - you are guest and BHP staff treats your with the oriental hospitality, i.e. they help you, support you, defend you.

On the other side:
1) rooms are rather small - but if you are in Istanbul, you want to walk the city, not to be in a room;
2) there is no elevator and the staircase is steep. Although the staff is there to help you with luggage, it could be a problem for some people.

Rooms are very small. As we came in winter, in the first night was cold in our room. The central heating wasn't working well, was half warm and half almost cold.They gave us a small radiator, as we were with our daughter of 5 years old. Was enough to warm the room, but this radiator dries the air and my daughter was seek, but in the end was fine. And when we were upset because of the heating we told them that they are not a 4 stars hotel and they said \"we are a boutique hotel,not a 4 stars hotel, expedia gave us 4 stars\". Otherwise the staff is very friendly. But the bathrooms have no heating, they don't have a free parking place. There's a small place to park the car across the street and the employes there ask the price they want if you don't know from the hotel how much you have to pay.

Location, cleanliness and price--the only things important to me when staying at hotel abroad. This hotel had them all. Located down the street from the Blue Mosque (less than 5 min walk) it was a great location. However, due to the proximity to the Mosque, the 6am call to prayer is unbelievably loud. Quite an experience. During the off season (Dec '11), prices were great. We paid extra to be upgraded to an upstairs room. Not sure if that was really necessary but the room was fine. It was small (2 twins) but adequate, clean and well kept. The bathroom was surprisingly modern, also very clean. There is free wifi thru out the hotel--awesome! Room rates included free Turkish breakfast every morning served downstairs. If I went back, I'd skip the free breakfast and get pastries from restaurants (cheap and tasty!) Overall, a great place to stay. I'd recommend.

This hotel is a short walk from The Blue Mosque and Sultanhamet and is conveniently located in a cluster of other hotels and restaurants and a small bazaar market. The heater in my room did not work, but I never asked to see if I might be doing something wrong. The rooftop terrace has some nice views and the staff is friendly. The breakfast buffet is good, not great. (my special order omelette was drenched in oil) The room was OK sized, but the Satelite tuner stuck out of the wall under the TV requiring you to be careful when walking around the bed. Good value for the money. Be careful of tha taxi drivers in the area though. They will fleece you.

My stay at the Best Point was terrific, even though only for one night. The location is terrific, the stay friendly and very helpful, and the room itself, while not gigantic was perfectly fine. Breakfast in the morning was well prepared and thought out. All that and a location that it within actual walking distance to some great sites. A special thank you to the staff that tried to help in any way possible. Terrific stay!

We booked the Economy room, but was lucky to be upgraded to Standard room. There is limited space in the room as it is quite small. The breakfast is good. It is quite a distance to walk from the hotel to the nearest tram station at Sultanahmet. About 15 mins walk. I would recommend to book the Standard room, which are on the upper floors and less noise.

Great place!

Once you find the Best Point Hotel (can be a little difficult), it is a great place to stay. It is a short walk to the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. The hotel staff goes out of their way to accommodate you. I arrived at 2 am after a late flight from Italy, and the owner met me personally when I arrived. Furthermore, he spent the next 1/2 hour making sure that I had made plans for my time in Istanbul and that I would make my two days there memorable. It was a very good place to stay, and one in which I would definitely stay again.

Hi there- My girlfriend and I had a very nice 4 night stay at the Best Point Hotel in early July. The staff were all very welcoming. The hotel is nice and clean. We stayed in roon 101, which had a king bed and nice private patio. The shower leaked but there was a drain in the bathroom floor so wasn't a problem. Maybe they will have fixed it by now. Hotel is 5 min walk from Blue Mosque and St. Sophia. Hotel has a roof deck with view of the sea, and good breakfast included, although fresh OJ was extra. I would stay there again.

Nice place, great location

I selected this hotel primarily on price point but was very pleasantly surprised to find that its quite a nice little boutique hotel. The service was great and the staff made some great reccomendations on how to use my limited time in Istanbul. The location was very convenient with great access to the blue mosque, Hagua Sophia, and basilica cistern. Its also very close to the tram for access to Taksim Square.

The hotel is not too bad, but a thing really bothered us is the first day we checked in, a hotel staff tried to sell us a tour guide\"SHE\".
We were very uncomfortable with that, he can recommend the tour but he should not have acted like a salesman.
When we rejected him, I can see the dissapointment on his face. I suppose he must receive commission!

We had a truly fantastic time at The Best Point Hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 7am after a long flight from Australia, and the staff immediately welcomed us, offering us tea and Turkish coffee, and gave us valuable advice on what to do and see in Istanbul. The long journey over was soon forgotten, and true Turkish hospitality was quickly experienced.

The hotel is located only a short walk away from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and the Grand Bazaar. There is also a breathtaking 360 degree view from the rooftop terrace, where you can enjoy your breakfast (one of the very obliging waiters is all too happy to carry your meal upstairs for you!) Breakfast is delicious, offering a lovely variety including fresh fruits, cheeses, cereals, cakes and Turkish tea, of course! The hotel's street has a wonderful sense of community - it is easy to feel at home here!

We urge you to stay at this hotel for an unforgettable holiday, and to experience the best of Istanbul, at a very reasonable price. Any time we have the pleasure of returning, we will most certainly stay here!

PERFECT HOTEL IN ISTANBUL

We stayed for 3 nights. The location is superb- the Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and the Grand Bazaar are all within walking distance. The neighbour feels very safe, and the views from the roof top bar are wonderful. The staff are professional, the breakfast was great, and the rooms are sparkling clean. Our room was a bit small, but the location steill makes this my first choice for value.

Best hotel during our three-week stay in Turkey!

After traveling on a bus tour for 3 weeks, we were so impressed with the Best Point for our few remaining days in Istanbul. We had a queen size bed that was very comfortable. Rooms are small, but that's to be expected in the area. The bathroom was actually very large for the room size. The rooms had nice wooden floors, making it appear very clean.

The breakfast options were extensive - many options for pastries, cookies, cake, jams, and all of the traditional cheeses, olives, etc.

The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Overall this was great value for the price of the hotel. I would recommend this hotel for couples looking for great comfort and clean and modern amenities.

this is a great conveniently located hotel. the staff is kind and accommodating. they all obviously like people.
we spoke no Turkish and they went out of their way to teach us the essentials. Sadly, we never caught on, but we gave it the old college try, and they never gave up on us.

Small, but very good hotel, closed to Sultanahmet square, in the heart of Istanbul easy to access airport and others places through metro. Front desk are in charge of the hotel owner, a young guy really commited with the guests satisfation. We really recommend.

Great little hotel, about a 35 Trk Lire taxi ride from the Airport. located in a quiet area of Sultanamet where all the tourists want to be in Istanbul. Close to shopping, tram, buses and seawall for a morning walk, great restaurants one block away. Owner and staff where very helpful, most spoke english well enough to assist in everything. Decent breakfast included. Rooms are a bit small but workable. Excellent choice for a 3 star. Would stay again.

Reception upon arrival is excellent as tea is offered while you relax and the front desk takes care of your paperwork. We booked an economy room but were offered a free upgrade. The room was in excellent condition and beautifully decorated. Free wireless internet service is provided and the reception is excellent with a router located on every floor.

Breakfast was very good with many different Turkish cheeses, meats and pastries to sample. We really enjoyed it aside from the free juices offered, which seemed as though they were sitting out for quite some time. Fresh squeezed juice is available for a low price (2,5 TL) however.

My only complaint is that the room we were offered was not very well insulated from outside noises and smells. I was woken up several times by doors closing in the middle of the night as well as people merely walking by the room. Cigarette smoke also lingered in our room when people in nearby rooms smoked. Due to the design of the hotel building it would be difficult to get a room isolated from noise, so this may be a consideration if you are a light sleeper.

Overall, I would definitely recommend the hotel. It is an excellent value and located close to all of the sights of Istanbul; though be sure to take the tram/funicular over to Taksim square - we really enjoyed this area too!
