The breaksfast was disappointing, as was the fact we asked for our own milk to be heated up (as my son has a milk allergy) and the staff laughed and talked in turkish about us in front of us.
Morning reception worker wasnt helpful but the Afternoon worker was super helpful and assisted in all ways he could

Amazing location, all highlights are at a walking distance. Lots of shops and restaurants in the surroundings. A bazar a few feet away. Safe clean location.
What didn’t work- very busy so can get loud in the morning. The hotel whilst is very clean it is very tired and in need of a refurb. The rooms and bathroom do not look the same as the pictures. Our room had severe damp issues. The smell was unbearable. We complained and nothing was done about it, I have pictures. No curtains on some windows so light comes in early morning. Bathroom is tiny. Breakfast is awful with minimal items , we didn’t bother eating at the hotels after the first day, however the rooftop view is a plus!

Amazing boutique hotel in a convenient location to shopping, sights, and restaurants. Breakfast terrace provides a wonderful view overlooking the water and Asian side. Rooms are decorated to feel like home. You won’t be disappointed. Front desk acquired street parking for our van directly in front of hotel. Restaurants are steps away from your door. Try the Rainbow fish and meat restaurant, you won’t be disappointed with the food quality and customer service. Will definitely be returning!!

Azade Suites Istanbul

The room was quite big considering rooms are small in Istanbul, for those staying their first time rooms are tiny usually. I have been to Istanbul over 10 times and have found something a little bigger with comfortable beds. You spend most your time outdoors so you only need those comforts.

perfect sleeps after busy days

This was the perfect choice. The location was great: sites in walking distance, food spots nearby, money exchanger nearby. The internet worked very well too. The apartments are on the quieter side of the street so I was able to sleep very very well. I would definitely return.

I would ask management to provide a map of Istanbul to their customers, as they only had maps for the bus/metro.

Hotel wasn't as good as advertised.

The spa bath tub didn't work, there was no plug and the staff were not able to resolve the problem. There was no coffee in the complimentary tea & coffee and staff said \"There is none left\" The complimentary mini bar \"Is extra\". Bed was really comfortable but there was a stain on the bed cover and the rain fall shower head had a leak.

Nice hotel on a quiet street

Our family of four stayed at the Family Suite for a week. Room was spacious and clean. The area and street were quiet it felt like staying in our own small and quiet residential apartment. We were given code for the front door access to the hotel which was convenient.Room was cleaned daily

Buffet breakfasts were served at sister-hotel just across the street. Decent selection and nice view from the terrace.

Worth a return stay

The room had all I needed. However the smell of cigarette smoke from a previous guest and in the lobby entrance wasn't pleasant.
Breakfast....Filled a need (and that's all)!

Very close the Blue Mosque and Haga Sophia

We were surprised with the room size. Stayed in Junior suite, it has a reception room with 2 sofas, and behind that is one double bed.

there is another room with two single beds and huge bath / toilet.

breakfast was amazing on the terrace with sea views.

cleaned everyday with new towels and soaps and shampoos.

About 20 mins drive from IST airport, shuttle service was reliable but you have to find the expedia office as soon as you come out...it's on your left.

Super extraordinary location

Very nice, cute, safe area, near shops and restaurants.

Just a short walking distance to Blue Mosque.

Walk just a bit more and get to Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace.

Walk some more a get to Grand Bazaar.

Transfer to hotel from airport:
If no traffic, 20-25 min to the airport. With traffic, one hour.
In the airport I hired a private service... IEF TUR gave us a very decent van for 10 people (we were only 3) for a roundtrip fee to Azade Suites/hotel for 35 Euros. You'd need to negotiate a bit or else they may want to charge you 30-35 euros one way!

We were also very lucky because we got an upgrade at Azade suites: from a one bedroom suite to a two bedroom! We got 3 tvs, 2 safes, 1 full/queen? Bed, 2 double beds, etc.
Of course the bedroom and bathroom sizes are much smaller than an American hotel, but was very cute, clean and cozy and in an amazing location.

Bedrooms have lots of outlets but remember to bring a converter to be able to use your US chargers.

Breakfast is in Azade hotel just around the corner, 1 min away.
Check in at Hippodrome hotel, just in front of Azade Suites.

Would stay there again next time we go to Istanbul.

Superior Accomodat'n near Arasta Bazar Sultanahmet

I have stayed in Sultanahmet tens of times without exageration. Most of the \"boutique\" hotels are converted private homes. Many of these hotels are overrated in terms of their star allocation. If you compare a 4-star in Sultanahmet to a 3-star in Dubai, you find the latter more comfortable, better equipped
and considerably larger than the former. Of course, several of these rundown so-called four stars in Istanbul have character -- the problem is why pay four star prices for three star accomodation?
Not so Azade Suites Special Class. Rooms are modern and well-equipped. I recommend a suite. Large and modern bathrooms. There are no elevators so be prepared for ascending stairs. My only gripe with this venue is that there was no promised sofabed; rather, a rollaway bed had to be brought in and it was not that comfortable. However, this omission is a mere faux paux. Nice for couples.
Breakfast in served in Azade Hotel nearby. Don't mix these up. Taxi drivers frequently do. I am only recommending Azade Special Class. While slightly more expensive, this hotel is worth the premium. It offers a room much more comfortable and bigger than some \"real\" hotels like Eresin or Crown Plaza Old Town (at neither of which would I ever stay at again). Unfortunately, Istanbul hotels are replete with inflated price tags and sub-par accomodation.

Excellent Location and Nice Suite

We were rather pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I had read some less than positive reviews and I'm not sure what people expect for the money. The suite we had was spacious and clean, the hotel staff was helpful, the breakfast was very good, and the location was fabulous. We were traveling as a family with two teenagers. It was nice that they had their separate room. We had a view of the blue mosque from our bedroom window and the view of the Bosphorus and blue mosque from the top floor of the hotel (where breakfast was served) was stunning. The only negative was that taxi drivers were often confused by the address and were not familiar with the hotel.....so make sure to bring their business card when going out.

Good value, great location

This converted old house has just ten suites, either up a marble stairway with tight turns or a bathtub-sized elevator. Our suite was very roomy and homey with an excellent bed and nice sitting area with tiny fridge and electric teakettle. The marble bathroom has a frosted glass door but the frosting is very sufficient for privacy. The floor is heated. Beware of the towel heater next to the toilet--it can be quite hot if you lean into it. A few doors down, the Azade Hotel has a Turkish bath you can use and breakfast is served in the rooftop restaurant with a lovely view of the Bosporus. From the roof you can also see the nearby Blue Mosque and just slightly farther Haga Sofiya. The streetcar line stops a few blocks away for sightseeing. Public transit will take you to the airport, though the streets and sidewalks are not easy surfaces for rolling luggage. The hotel is on a narrow, fairly quiet street. We could hear the tambour of the musicians in the fish restaurant across the street late into the night, but it was soothing, like those heartbeat toys for quieting babies. Lots of nice restaurants within easy walking distance. Service was cordial, cleanliness was fine. Would be glad to return.

Great location, awesome yet affordable hotel suite

On a mother-daughter trip for 5 nights in Istanbul this past Thanksgiving holiday and we loved this boutique hotel. Ask for the top-floor Junior King Suite with terrace overlooking views of the Bosphorous sea and Blue Mosque. The modern chic style of the room and spacious bathroom made it a great reprieve after a long day of sight-seeing. Also appreciated the complimentary coffee and hot water kettle for tea in the room, and drinks (water, fruit juice, cola, beer) stocked in the fridge every day. Suggestion for hotel: you should also stock diet cola. Lastly, the hotel was in a great area of the Old City - Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, train stop all within walking distance, yet it was on a quiet, safe street with cute restaurants within the area (recommend Ocean's 7 and Cozy Garden). Stay here!

Great room. We were lucky to get a room on the top floor. Room had a balcony with a nice view. We loved this small hotel. Great decor. Nice, pretty big bathroom with a tub and shower combo. Location was perfect. We would recommend this hotel to friends. We got a great deal on the room (most likely because we were there in the off-season).

I would highly recommend a stay here if you are visiting Istanbul / Sultanahmet . This is a lovely and very conveniently located hotel in the hearth of Sultanahmet, close to all the major sites with pleasant, large rooms. Free Wi-Fi . great breakfast and professional service.

-3 yetişkin(karı koca ve anne) ve bir çocuk konakladık, anne için hazirlanmiş olan yatak o kadar vasattı ki, üzerine yattigimiz da demirleri hissediliyordu. Uyarmamiza rağmen yeterli olmayan sabun, ve havlu koyuluyordu.
- kahvaltı güzeldi, lokasyon çok iyiydi, her yere kolaylıkla gidilebiliyor.

Leuke ruime kamer, jammer van de warmte

De kamer is ruim en netjes en ligt op loopafstand van alle grote bezienswaardigheden. Leuke eettentjes en winkels in de buurt. Goede locatie. Lekker ontbijtbuffet in de ochtend.
Minpunten: de kamer is erg warm, zelfs in de winter. De jacuzzi was defect. Daar heb ik naar gevraagd en er zou worden gekeken wat eraan te doen was. Echter niks gebeurd en dus geen gebruik kunnen maken van jacuzzi.

It was very good trip with Azade hotel especially location was perfect to me. we could enjoy the sighthing by walking also very nice time with city tour bus.
