Check-in super easy even when it's the middle of the night. Our room was very clean and they provide a lot of amenities. The staff were great- very knowledgeable and very nice. The view of the Blue Mosque from the terrace is stunning and the hotel itself is located very close to both mosques, the Basillica Cistern, and the Grande Bazaar (walking distance). The breakfast spead was fantastic - a huge selection and tastes amazing. And as a bonus, there's a general store just steps away where you can buy anything you might have forgotten (an adapter in our case :)) 10/10 would reccomend!

I picked this hotel based off the reviews and it did not disappoint. It’s located in a fabulous area. We felt very safe, it was close to public transportation, and in the heart of Sultanahmet. We walked to pretty much everything around the city. Some days we had 30,000 steps! Taking the ferry is super easy. We walked to it! We made it to the hotel on our own, but on our way back to the airport we did arrange with the hotel for a pick up because our flight was super early. That went just great. The room was clean as was the bathroom. The staff were all very nice. The breakfast was fabulous! I would 100% stay here again and recommend this to anyone who wants to stay at a smaller, boutique style hotel. Thank you so much.

While the room could have been in a slightly better state (the bedside table had fallen off the wall, for example), the hotel provided a warm and hospitable welcome - as well as excellent value - for our one night stay. The staff were particularly pleasant, keen to help and very friendly. Breakfast was very good - a wide variety of fresh dishes that were both veggie and gluten-free . Excellent location, just 3-4 minutes from the HavaIst bus stop for the airport.

Tuvimos una estadía inolvidable en Estambul, y en gran parte fue gracias al Nomade Hotel Exclusive. El staff es excepcional, siempre atento y dispuesto a ayudar. Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas, y el desayuno fue excelente durante las tres noches que nos hospedamos.
Lo mejor del hotel, sin duda, es su ubicación: a solo 3 minutos caminando de las mezquitas, con muchísimos restaurantes alrededor y acceso muy cercano al tranvía, lo que hace todo muy práctico para moverse por la ciudad.
Es un hotel acogedor, bien cuidado y perfectamente ubicado para disfrutar de la zona más turística de Estambul.
Lo recomendamos 100% y sin dudarlo volveríamos.

The Bad: Pretty noisy at night and morning 6AM loud prayers close by, not ideal for light sleepers.

What a gem. I can’t say enough about how good this hotel is. It’s right in the touristy area within a short walk to all attractions. A restaurant is across the street and to the side is a grocery store. The staff is very attentive and kind. Will definitely book here next time we find ourselves in Istanbul!

They even have a backup generator (there was a fire in the neighbourhood and local power was out for a while). Only negative (unrelated to the hotel) is the aggressive marketing by the restaurants all down the block

The hotel is on a busy tourist street with lots of restaurants and shops on the ground floors so don’t expect any quiet till after 11. However, the restaurants are convenient overpriced. I talked to a host at one of the restaurants and he said you can get the same meal the next neighborhood over for 60% less. Breakfast was very good with a lot of options. The rooms are clean and the water got hot pretty fast in the shower. The hotel is a five minute walk to the Hagia Sophia, blue mosque, Basilica Cistern and Topkapi.

I am doubting the Rating system at Expedia for this hotel, We booked and paid for a Superior Double Room (with a king bed), but upon arrival, we were given a standard double room. I explained the difference to the receptionist, and while it was clear he knew the difference between a queen and a king bed, he made it seem like it was my problem and insisted that all the beds were big. He admitted the hotel was full and promised to move us to a superior room later, but that never happened. No refund or discount was ever offered for the mistake, which was very disappointing especially since we were only staying two nights and our main reason for booking was the king bed.

The room had issues: a broken shower holder, dirty towels (replaced with more stained ones), and bed linens my wife didn’t feel comfortable sleeping on. Housekeeping even removed our towels without replacing them.

On the positive side, breakfast was good and the rest of the staff were polite and helpful. But overall, the experience was disappointing. wrong room, poor cleanliness, dismissive service, and no attempt to make it right.

An average stay that was significantly impacted by a blatant attempt at deception regarding transportation. The room was clean, the service was mostly good, and other amenities were generally as expected for a hotel of this type, but people need to be careful, a particular incident truly undermined my trust.

As I was checking out, I asked about the Havaist-11 bus stop location, which is an inexpensive and convenient way to Istanbul Airport, I encountered what I believe was deliberate misinformation. Minutes after overhearing the same person quote a hefty 15,000 TL for an airport car ride to another couple, the individual then tried to convince me to take a similar overpriced option for myself. I respectfully declined. He then claimed reaching the Havaist-11 stop would involve a convoluted journey of multiple tram and bus changes, seemingly trying to get me to take the ride he was offering.

Ignoring his advice, I decided to look for the stop myself. Remarkably, the Havaist-11 stop was about 100 meters from the hotel entrance!

This kind of dishonest practice, trying to mislead and overcharge guests for something so easily accessible and affordable, is simply unacceptable. It genuinely makes one question their integrity, and it completely erases any goodwill the hotel has built.

I will not be staying here again.

A nice hotel with great staff. The hotel is very centrally located to visit the most iconic Istanbul sites by foot. The breakfast is very good. The two drawbacks include the very loud (and often off key) outdoor singers at Paradise Cafe/ restaurant directly across the street and the super aggressive restaurant host for La Vina garden across the street at well. You can’t avoid the bad singing, but you must avoid the garden restaurant.

This property is really great, well maintained and the staff is really helpful and knowledgeable. We forgot to carry universal adapter and the reception helped us provide 3 of them. The guy at the reception also gave me his travel tram card to use and explained us how to recharge the card which really helped us lot.

We booked the superior double room, and it was quite big and spacious. The hotel has a variety of options for their breakfast buffet which is included, and the breakfast had a few changes every day which is something we really liked instead of having the same breakfast all 3 days.

The property is literally 5 mins walking distance from both Blue Mosque and Hagia Sohpia, 10 mins walk to the tram station and 20 minutes walk to the Grand Bazaar.

If I visit Istanbul again, I'll definitely stay at this property again.

My husband and I stayed at Nomad for 4 days. The hotel is well located, only 3 blocks away from Hangia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. You can basically walk to most of the tourist attractions. Coco was a great host and he was always willing to help.
The breakfast was excellent, it was a mix between typical breakfast and local.
But what we like the most is that they were nice with the stray cats outside the hotel.
We recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Istanbul.

The hospitality was wonderful. We arrived after midnight. The front desk person, Ahmed, was awake to greet us and offered us tea with cookies. During the stay I had my fill of baklavas during afternoon teas at the hotel. Both Ahmed and Gokhan were very caring and had many suggestions on where and how to go.

Caution is advised in booking this hotel

When I arrived at the hotel, the reception staff took me to a neighboring hotel because apparently they had overbooked. That room was small and very basic and didn’t deserve what I had paid for the night’s stay. Next day at around 1pm I was given a better room in the hotel I had paid for but they lodged me in the basement with no view. I chose the room based on its promised view and a garden patio that I never got to see. But I was happy that at least I got a better room for two nights even if the hotel management never offered a word of regret.

Staying in the heart of Old Town

Hotel located very conveniently to all main attractions. Breakfast is very good, rooms are very comfortable and clean, people on reception are very helpful. I booked a trip to Cappadocia thru hotel and it was organized very well. I am very happy with my stay in Nomade Hotel Exclusive.

Fabulous week in ISTANBUL !!

Place was comfortable and clean . Service was excellent , someone there 24 hours in reception. Breakfast was a very good buffet of local foods and plenty to choose from . Hotel staff arranged a tour for us and our taxi service back to the airport . Excellent location , walked everywhere. Close to the sights . Plenty of places to see and restaurants .

Lovely stay

We had a wonderful stay and would come back to this hotel if we return to Istanbul. Staff was very friendly and helpful, location is 10/10 close to all the sites and walking distance from the main tourist attractions, rooms are clean and very spacious. The breakfast that is included with the stay is fantastic! We stayed 6 nights and never got bored of the breakfast because they switch the dishes everyday and they have so many options to choose from. We loved our stay at Nomade and would highly recommend it! Lovely stay!
