An amazing staff, food was amazing and the hotel itself was very well maintained! I'm definitely recommending this place for anyone wanting to visit and stay near the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque.

We had a great stay at the hotel. The hotel is located near everything at a bubbly area and a walking distance to popular tourist places.

Loved the warmth and cleanliness. It’s just a 4 instead of 5 because the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbours. But the staff really made up to any shortcomings, they were amazing. I loved how it is near to everything especially Hagia Sophia and the sultanahmet area. And the heater is really warm during winter it helps.

I really liked the room and the hotel location, as most of the attractions were within walking distance. The hotel was very clean. The breakfast could do with more selections. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time.

Good location, busy street

The hotel is located in close proximity to the main attractions, clean, the service is good and breakfast is basic but nice.
The street is super busy and loud so if you have room facing the street be ready for a very loud music until 3am.
I would give the hotel 5 stars but when checking in they gave us a cheaper room. Next day I asked to move us to the room I paid, they apologized and fixed it.

Had booked 2 rooms during last week of May. No issues, property and rooms were clean. Atakan at the front desk was kind enough to give us the rooms on the same floor as requested. Breakfast was pretty good, nice options. Was very close and walkable to major attractions nearby. It is a nice, small boutique hotel and good value for money.

Last min booking that turned out to be fantastic

We booked three family rooms for 9 nights, Hotel was very clean and the staff were great and friendly especially Mr Qadeer who was extremely helpful and always smiling. The breakfast was ok and simple, the location of the hotel is ideal as it is very central and walking distance from a lot of attractions, the only down point was the wall of the rooms are abit thin and sometimes you could hear the other rooms. Thank you for a wonderful stay and will definitely recommend it for ofhers

Room was not available on night of arrival.

Based on reviews, it looks like this place is notorious for not having your room available on your day of arrival. This happens to us as well. Upon arrival, the manager simply states \"there is a problem\" and blames it on their customers \"they are still out there still shopping late at night and never checked out.\" They provided accommodations across the street with a partner hotel for the first night which caused delays and luggage movement. We had an extra person with us which they were willing to accommodate for free to compensate for the inconvenience.

It was an enjoyable experience as the Staff were courteous & helpful, whilst the property was clean and provided a decent breakfast.
The immediate area does have a few pub based restaurants which came as a bit of a surprise as I wasn't expecting that, none the less the overall experience at the hotel itself was very pleasant - Alhamdulillah

We arrived at 2AM and expected our prepaid room to be ready. We were informed that they had overbooked and took us to another hotel that was slightly inferior. The Magnaura house misrepresents itslef by it's pictures of the lobby. It is not as nice as it looks in the pictures. The manager is very passive aggressive and we wanted to cancel the reservation for the following prepaid days as they had broken their contract with us. He kept us waiting a whole day and was difficult to deal with. Fortunately, Orbitz stepped in and negotiated with him. We ran into another woman with children and grandparents that the same thing was happening to. She had the same complaints. We do not recommend this hotel at all.

I arrived at the hotel just after midnight. I had alerted the hotel when I booked that my flight was scheduled to land at 22.30. However upon arrival we were met by a friendly young man with not much handle on English. He passed me the phone to speak to the manager a chap called Kadir. I was told that there was no room availability for that night and that I and my family would be accommodated across the road at their sister hotel. Obviously I stated my disappointment over my discourse with the manager. We both remained calm and reluctantly I agreed to spend the night elsewhere and he verified that he would give me a complimentary transfer on departure. We were tired and this was my only option. The sister Hotel Was fine and the next morning our luggage was moved to our room. After this the remainder of our stay was really good. The owner Ayub and his manager Kadir were both gentlemen and especially Kadir who spoke good English was a great help for tourist advice and the like. The rooms were clean and modern and the beds good. The shower/toilets were good also. There was some noise from the adjacent street/restaurants both nothing overwhelming. Location was excellent in the shadow of the Blue Mosque. The breakfast bar was good and the roof terrace with good views to the Bosphorus.

Excellent location in the heart of Istanbul

We stayed here as a family of 5, in one room which was a bit small for us, because 2 beds are extra added. We had some challenge upor arrival getting the 5th bed done, although we requested a 5-bed room at the time of reservation. The staff was polite, but we had to ask three times for this request to be granted. Every other request afterwards was met more promptly, staff was nice and friendly.
Otherwise the hotel is in a good condition and has an excellent location, you can easily walk to major sights. Also the street is very lively, with many restaurants and good food is everywhere around.
Breakfast is simple, but you get a Turkish coffee with it.
Only during the weekend there was a lot of traffic through the street, but you are staying in a lively and vibrant city, this comes along.

Walking distance from blue mosque and other attractions. We stayed for a week with kids we all enjoyed.Good resturants and night life. Hotel is very basic but clean, friendly staff.
