We loved this hotel so much for their location, exceptional service, and great hospitality. They gave us a room upgrade and we had the best sleep. I will definitely stay here again. It’s walkable to all the main attractions so we didn’t have to pay for any of the local tours. It’s safe, clean, and has good breakfast. Outstanding!

The rooms were tired and not in great condition. The flush valve covering in the toilet was off its mount. The breakfast buffet was poor, e.g., it served a tang like substance as orange juice. The location is very good.

Nice Hotel close to all the sights

We had a very nice stay for 2 nights at the Hotel Osmanhan. We arrived before check-in time and were able to leave our bags and get directions, as well as dining recommendations. Our room was clean and comfortable, located on the 4th floor as we requested. The staff was happy to carry our bags to and from the room because like most buildings in the area there is no elevator. Breakfast was served on the roof-top deck which had both inside and outside seating.
The hotel is a short 7-10 minute walk from the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sofia. We would be happy to stay here again during a return visit.

Great location to visit old town as it is a short walking distance to the main attractions including Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The room was clean and staff were very friendly, especially Emir. For longer than 3 nights, the room would have been a little small and the breakfast could have had more variety. Otherwise lovely place and recommended for anyone wanting to visit old town.

Highly recommend! This small boutique hotel is in the perfect location, walking distance to everything. The room was very, very, clean and comfortable. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are incredibly nice and helpful. They can help you with any problems or questions and can make recommendations for tours and restaurants. All front desk staff speak excellent English. We would like to acknowledge Imir, who was amazing. He helped us a great deal with a Turkish Airline issue, calling the airline and speaking to them to get information we needed for our flight. Stop searching and book this place now!

It is a tiny hotel with only two rooms per floor, no elevator and steep steps. It has a breakfast room on the top floor with a great view. You can eat inside or outside. Great breakfast. Room was nice but small. Location is perfect for all the main sights in Sultanamet.

Excellent place to stay. Staff is very friendly, rooms are perfect for two adults. Everything is within walking distance. The food scene, the fresh juices from street corners to sweets. Everything you need is close by. If you want to Uber somewhere it only costs $6-$10USD. Our most expensive Uber ride was $29 because we had to go to a hair transplant clinic which was an hour way.

Stay here and you won’t be disappointed! Thank me later.

Reception will arrange tours for you.Excellent breakfasts with Bosphorus view on 5th floor. Loved the fantastic fish restaurant recommended, 2 minute walk. Very clean. Had main floor room with comfortable queen bed.Five minute walk to Blue Mosque with major sights right there. We Would stay there again as we liked the boutique, friendly feel of the hotel. Not for you if you cannot do stairs. Thank you again Farid and the super young men on reception. Also liked airport service. Wish we had 5 days in Istanbul as so much to see and do. Lovely Hotel in Istanbul

My stay at the Osmanhan Hotel was really great and quite memorable. The receptionists were very accommodating, friendly, and provided me with a lot of good information regarding some places to see within the area. The room was also very comfortable, clean, and enjoyable. The location is also great and is very close to many historical areas within walking distances. The tram is also also very close and reachable within 10 minutes walking from the hotel. I am happy with my first time visiting and experiencing Istanbul while staying at the Osmanhan Hotel. Our room was immaculate, roomy, had a great view and was very comfortable. The breakfast was the best we’ve ever had and they added the personal touch which was so very nice.

Property was in a perfect location where we could walk everywhere!

The Property owner Mustafa, and the entire staff was fantastic and treated us like family, recommended many great places to eat where the locals are clients. Great prices and delicious food!

We will definitely return and recommend this property to family & friends who plan to travel to Istanbul.

Only problem was no elevator and in Istanbul you always have a lots of bags and souvenirs so cardio training to 4th floor few times per day was \"nice\".

Check in and out process was easy and fast.

This hotel was excellent! Everyone went above and beyond to be friendly and welcoming. My wallet was stolen coming into Istanbul and the hotel owner and front desk staff were so so helpful. What could have been a difficult situation because only a minor inconvenience due to their efficiency and good advice. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The breakfast terrace has an amazing view as well. The added bonus is that Osmanhan is only a short walk from popular sites in the area. I highly recommend staying here if you get a chance!

What a little gem of a hotel! From start to finish, the staff was helpful, kind, polite and knowledgeable. Adam went out of his way to answer questions, offer suggestions and help me with shuttle service. Our breakfast on the top floor was absolutely delicious with an incredible view. There’s no elevator, just fyi but it wasn’t long flights of stairs. The room was very clean and comfortable. Will recommend and certainly book again.

Osmanhan Hotel is fantastic for a stay in Istanbul! It is in the perfect location, close to all major historical sites, but also in a quieter area than most hotels. But the most amazing thing is honestly the staff - they are phenomenal and will help organize your trip and give honest advice. Ferit and Hasret are extremely nice and exceptional people. The breakfast was also great, very tasty and fresh, and the rooms were clean and spacious. I highly recommend!

I had a fantastic time at the Osmanhan hotel, the prices are fair for the area and high quality of service you will receive. The staff are excellent and will provide very sound and helpful advice, which trust me is extremely valuable and is one of the stars of this hotel.

The location is fantastic and I think the best way to see a lot in a short period of time and easy walking distance, which in the summer heat is extremely valuable.

I would heartily recommend this hotel to anyone looking to have a great time in Istanbul

I had a small room right by the reception office so I felt safe. It was also nice to not have to drag luggage up or down stairs. My place was clean, in an excellent location, friendly staff and amazing breakfast. The owner Hamit is especially nice and showed me and spoke of the beautiful rugs they had the lobby.

I dont usually write reviews but this place is well worth a review. We spent 4 nights at Osmanhan hotel and everhthing was excellent. When we arrived, we were welcome like we were staying at a family place. The staff went above and beyond to help us with getting our luggage that the airlines had delayed. The owner drover us to the shopping mall for free. Also, helped us book a cruize dinner last minute and gave us guidence on different things. Breakfast is excellent. Healthy and delicious. That you to the owner and the staff for making us feel welcome and making our stay wonderful. Definitely recommended.

I traveled from USA. Front desk and their service was amazing, fluent English, breakfast was good, I asked for a bottle of water, he brought few extra, near to the water, walking distance to shopping, restaurants. Although because of COVIT most were closed. I definitely recommend and will be back there soon.

This was my second stay at OsmanHan hotel. In my last short stay, I came as a guest, but left as a family member.
There might be some good hotels, but you cannot find one that satisfying in every way like Osmanhan does: excellent location near Blue Mosque (about 500m), quiet at night, many good restaurants around, beautiful cozy room, delicious fresh breakfast, quick hot water, good Wifi and everything you need in the room, a terrace overlooking the Bosporusvery while having meals, very helpful and friendly staff, and--incredible good price!
The hotel was as warm and tidy as ever. And I noticed it changed a little at this special time. Disinfection measures were strictly implemented here:
There were disinfectant alcohol and hand sanitizer at front desk, and a reminder of wearing masks.
Still offering guests a delicious and hearty breakfast, only to switch from buffets to platters served separately. The fruits and vegetables are especially fresh (yummy yummy!), ordered from an organic garden, according to the restaurant's manager.
I saw the cleaning lady cleaning the ground and stairs very carefully. The manager said it was to prevent from bringing back the virus under people's shoes. The lady also cleaned the door handles and stair railings very carefully, which made me felt very safe.
And special thanks to the friendly young man at front dest for lending me computer when mine didn't work. Turkish keyboard is quite cute :)
