The hotel was well situated. The breakfast buffet was really nice. The staff was lovely and really nice to go to the rooftop for a drink at sunset. Try to stay on a higher floor as 1 was a bit noisy bing in the street. But the location was also fantastic. And terrific fish restaurant just around the corner to the right. We didn’t use the pool in the spa but it was really nice looking and big.

A fabulous location a short walk to the Blue mosque square. Breakfast was good and the restaurant has wonderful views over the water. There is a swimming pool, sauna and steam room in the basement which was an added treat. These were all included.
We had a standard room which was fine, the bathroom was pretty small but the shower was decent.
The staff on reception were very helpful & I would recommend using their transfer service to the airport for 60 euros per way. We took a taxi on arrival and were completely ripped off - beware the taxis!! We used the hotel service on the way back and it was much nicer and cheaper.
Overall this hotel was very good value for money and I would stay here again.

What a lovely boutique hotel, super clean and everything is well throughout. The staff is very friendly and helpful.The transport service I booked through hotel arrived on time to pick us from the airport. Communication with the front office staff was very easy and accurate. The high pressure shower in the bathroom was high quality and comforting to use. Typically low water pressure or air conditioning or cleanliness are issues to combat at hotels but everything was functioning well at this hotel. Staying at Amiral made my trip to Istanbul pleasurable. I would highly recommend it.

My wife and I found the staff were very welcoming and pleasant on our arrival. We used the airport transfer company recommended by the hotel and thought it economical, attentive and reliable. The airport is 45mins away. The hotel room was wonderful, spacious, clean & tidy and well maintained. We received an upgrade, for no apparent reason, to a bigger room with a king bed - very comfortable. The best part is the location in the Old Town, very close to many wonderful restaurants - our favourite was Rasitali Pub & Restaurant 100m up the hill, great food, atmosphere and service. The hotel restaurant, No 7 Rooftop was also very nice. Amiral Palace is also only a walk away from the main attractions - The Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sophia. Just a little further walk to the Grand Bazaar. Desk staff will help you with any enquiry or booking attractions or carrying of luggage. A great experience and certainly the hotel we will go back to on a return to fabulous Istanbul.

The delightful turkish Breakfast on the roof, overlooking the Bosphoros was the highlight of this hotel, which also has a great location right in the middle of the tourist zone, near the blue mosque. Recently renovated, clean rooms. We stayed in one which was quiet and which had good natural light and a view over a laneway. The Gym could do with a bike and / or rowing machine and a guest laundry. Overall Highly reccomended!

TV was broken no cable. They put me in an ADA room for the disabled it was literally under ground in the basement. Rooms are too dark not enough lighting. The bathroom sink was plugged could barely brush my teeth and shave. The shower flooded due to water backing up. I’ll never go back this place is a a joke.

Travelled to Istanbul with my son-in-law for a short city break and this hotel was ideal. Location: could not be better; the hotel is <5 minutes walk from Cankurtaran tram stop (T6) which itself is only one stop (5 minutes) from Sirkeci Station (for T1 tram, ferries).
Hotel: the room was immaculate and cleaned everyday with fresh towels.The staff at reception and in the restaurant were friendly and helpful at all times.
Facilities: excellent warm pool/steam room/sauna (we used these everyday to wind down after sightseeing and my son-in-law used the gym each morning).
Restaurant: huge selection at free buffet breakfast, with cooked food available on request at no extra charge. We ate dinner twice in the rooftop restaurant - great views and wide choice, with prices comparable to surrounding restaurants.
If we come to Istanbul again, and I hope we will, I would certainly book here again.

Price good and the breakfast spread was delicious with so many options. The pool was refreshing and use of sauna and steam room a nice addition. The staff was kind and accommodating; I chose only 4 stars due to issue with the laundry which was an outrageous price (€15 per kilo), cash only directly to them. I later sent it out privately for €5.60 per kilo. Used chat gpt to find this easy pick up and deliver service…would have been nice to have been informed sooner. Overall very good experience

I had 2 nights at the property and the room was very well appointed and very clean. A little more attention to detail with regard to a few things like light bulb flickering over the bed not picked up by maintenance or housekeeping and paint chip on the back of the door and staff smoking outside my window. Otherwise all staff were very attentive and courteous.
My room was not ready at 2pm but I was upgraded so no complaints there. Roof top restaurant has an excellent view over the Bosphorus. Food very good too. I used the pool and gym and sauna which were añl top class.

I rated it 3 stars because our toilet had problems with flushing and we needed to get assistance twice. The toilet was also leaking on the floor. The shower head was broken which they promptly fixed. The shower seal was also broken and it was leaking onto the floor outside the shower. Staff were friendly and professional. Hotel is a great location however I wouldnt choose to stay here again.

We loved our stay at hotel . It was in a great location , roof top restaurant was lovely , food delicious. We found staff super helpful accomodation professional. They held onto our luggage for us while we departed for a two day tour. It was so helpful that they could arrange transport to and from airport. Enjoyed the lovely experience at Hammam downstairs it was a shame pool was closed for maintenance our entire stay . This was very disappointing to me as it was the primary reason I chose this location. Excercise is a big part of my routine travelling . Sauna and steam room were excellent. Our overall stay at Amiral Palace Hotel was positive. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area, and the breakfast was outstanding with plenty of choices to suit different tastes. We did encounter a couple of minor hiccups during our stay including the fire alarm going off for extended period of time at 1:30 AM in the night, but the staff handled them very professionally and apologized sincerely. The only real downside was the in-room Wi-Fi, which worked only near the door but dropped completely when we were on the bed. Aside from that, we enjoyed our time and would recommend the hotel for its great location and hospitality.
