The breakfast is simple but good.
All of the staff were really friendly. I had an issue with the TV in my room, and they fixed it as soon as possible.

The room was basic, but the bed was comfy, and the aircon was good. The curtains were a little too narrow for the windows, so was a little hard to sleep once the sun was up.

Will probably stay here again.

The hotel is in a great place with local restaurants, shops and mosques nearby. Great for tourists visiting Istanbul as it’s 5 to 10 mins away from the tram so good access to public transport too. Staff at the hotel are very accommodating and friendly. They also provide services to tour Istanbul and do fun activities. I do wish the hotel was cleaner, but for the price point I can’t complain. Good value for money.

The receptionist said it was tge best room in the Hotel. When he opened the door the smell was unbearable. There was dirt on tge window sill. There were live cables hanging out and the towels were so grey they looked 10 years old. We checked out within two hours. The worst thing was the smell it stayed on our clothes. This hotel should be closed down until they refurb it.

We enjoyed our stay overall, the staff was friendly and breakfast options were good. The hotel is very clean and easy to walk to top attractions.

Unfortunately the A/C cannot go below 30 degrees celsius or it blows hot air, this and the mattress being on a board and very hard made it uncomfortable to sleep. We tried opening the window but it is very noisy with train, seagulls, and city noises.

It was cool outside but I imagine this would be uncomfortable in warmer temperatures.

The staff were amazing. They were very patient with my children. Housekeeping were very professional as well as the hotel restaurant staff. They answered a lot of our questions about İstanbul. Gave us great recommendations to tours in the rest of Türkiye, in addition to İstanbul. The location is close to the beach/sea side, Sultan Ahmet Square, and so many other attractions. Breakfast was really delicious. Beds were very comfortable. The transfer service to the airport were also very good and professional. I hope to stay again whenever my family or myself visit the the old city area of İstanbul.

I am writing this review to bring to your attention several serious concerns we experienced during our recent stay at Apple tree hotel, which I believe need to be addressed immediately to ensure the comfort and safety of future guests.

First and foremost, we encountered a bed bug issue in our room. Unfortunately, both I and my children suffered bites, which not only disrupted our stay but also raised serious concerns about cleanliness and hygiene in the room. This is a matter that no guest should have to experience, and we are understandably distressed by it.

In addition, we encountered continuous problems with the Wi-Fi. Despite never having connection issues at other hotels, the Wi-Fi here was extremely unreliable. I reported this problem to the reception staff four times during our stay. While the reception team was courteous and understanding, there was no effective action taken to resolve the connectivity issue. It was disappointing that, despite repeated complaints, there was a lack of acknowledgment of the problem and no resolution.

I trust that these issues will be taken seriously, as they significantly impacted our stay. I would appreciate a response detailing the actions that will be taken to address the bed bug problem and the ongoing Wi-Fi issues, as these are essential to ensure other guests have a safe and comfortable experience.
The only good thing is the reception staff is nice.

Staff of apple tree are very helpful and kind.breakfast excellent with lot of choices.maximum five to ten minutes walk from main tourist attractions.They provide very efficient airport transfer service with additional cost.Only downside is some strange smell near the room entrance area.and I hope hotel management will sort out this problem.One small suggestion if they can replace tv from old version to smart tv with Netflix and YouTube option.as we were travelling with children and they don’t know local language and hotel is hosting lot of foreigners and this can be helpful.

Overall, our stay was good, but unfortunately, our room had a strong sewage smell that really impacted our stay. It was quite unpleasant and made it difficult to relax in the room. Although the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, I didn't bring up the issue with them, and I regret that I didn't do so. I hope that in the future, the hotel will take steps to ensure that every room is odor-free. Despite the unpleasant smell, breakfast was good and the location was ideal.

I am a very fussy person, but I had no complaints about this hotel whatsoever, Staff are really helpful. Within walking distance of everything, plenty of restuarants around, hotel restaurant, was nice. Breakfast such a variety I really had no complaints at all. Amazing experience

Absolutely amazing hotel. The view was magnificent we could see the bosphorus and the blue mosque from the terrace. The staff were so friendly and made our stay very pleasant. As soon as we got out from our taxi the staff insured our baggage was taken inside and upstairs. I will definitely go back their again.

Amazing hotel. Went with a family of 5 staying in 1 family room. It says 3 star but I would probably rate it 4 star. Clean and spacious rooms. Modern and clean bathroom with a great shower. Friendly staff, especially the owner himself who helps you out when needed and is generally very kind. He gave us tips for travelling in the tram which saved us a lot of money and time. Rooms are cleaned daily as well as the bathrooms. The free breakfast has a wide variety of foods for all preferences. The terrace where breakfast is served has a stunning view of the water behind and the Blue Mosque in front. All I can say is, if you're thinking of booking this hotel, don't hesitate. Just book it. I promise you won't regret it.

Best recommendations! Very helpful and caring staff - people are the heart of this place. Great view from terrace, tasty breakfasts, elevator is available! Room was not big, but there was enough space for 3 of us. Bed linen and towels were changed every two days. 5-7 minutes to the sultanahmet square, T1 tram stop and to the waterfront.

Family vacation in Winter of 2019

We stayed for six nights. Family of 5. Check in was swift, they even allowed us 3 hours earlier than published check in time. Room was big enough to accomodate our individual luggages too. Bed and Bathroom were in top shape. Daily breakfast included various cheese, egg, toasts and other delicious essential things. Thank you Aziz and Madina for taking care of our daily breakfasts. The reception guys were kind and arranged for Bursa day trip at very economical price. Overall I will recommend Apple tree for its location (few metres away from Sultan Ahmet square) and breakfast (on terrace with wonderful view of Bosphorus).

Great location, AMAZING staff, clean and comfy. If you are a solo traveler or care too much about your safety I encourage you to book this hotel. I have been to Istanbul many times and stayed in the same area but I have never felt as safe as in this hotel. I forgot my backpack in hotel and it has all of my important documents, laptop, and money. One of the staff called my the moment they noticed it and told me not to worry about it because they will keep it for me in a safe place. I came a day later and found all my stuff safely stored. I was so lucky that I have been in such a safe place.

The hotel is located right behind the blue mosque and surrounded by restaurants and bazaars. A turkish buffet breakfast (with plenty of variety) is served on the roof terrace with panoramic views over the Bosphorous. The staff are helpful and welcoming. The hotel also arranged our transfers from Ataturk Airport which were well worth the €25 per vehicle price.
All in all a great base from which to explore the sights and tastes of Istanbul!

Have no complaints. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Connected us to tour company and helped buy tickets for Bosphorus cruise with transportation, arranged transportation from/to airport, and always had plenty of helpful advice on what to see and do and best way to get to places. We had originally booked our room for two nights but ended up staying the full week except for one night in Cappadocia. Left our luggage at the hotel.

Small hotel run by small amount of staff but everything is on point.room and bathroom is clean and beutifully decorated and its only a 5 minute walk from the blue mosque and other major tourist attractions. Amamos a experiência! A localização é maravilhosa, atrás da Praça Sultanahmet, perto dos principais pontos turísticos, perto do metrô, fizemos muita coisa a pé! A rua é silenciosa, mas, assim que você caminha por ela já chega em uma parte cheia de restaurantes, bares e lojas! A equipe do hotel foi super atenciosa e simpática! Café da manhã muito bom com vista para o mar! Único ponto negativo é que não tem elevador. Ótimo custo-benefício, recomendo muito!!!

The Apple Tree Hotel is an excellent choice for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, just steps from monuments and transportation. A few small improvements could make it perfect, but I highly recommend this establishment and will definitely return.

There is no bathtub, but the shower water volume is strong enough, and the both bedroom and the bed room are ok. Meals 　are served on the rooftop terrace, with a great view of the ocean and the food was delicious. However, it was not as fancy as the advertising photos, and looked old.

Reception staff very friendly. The room need some upgrade due to some damage. We stayed 10 days and we had to ask the hotel staff to clean properly due to dust, never changed the sheets to new ones. The cleaner did a very simple cleaning, not even cleaned the toilet sit for once but we got fresh towels. Telephone in the room didn’t work. The curtains didn’t make the room dark and the sound outside was too loud even though it said in their description that it was soundproof.
I could smell the cigarette outside coming inside the room. Interior was cute. Overall it’s alright for the price and if you aren’t too picky as I am…
