Prefer this Mercure over Mercure ICON Singapore City Centre, this location is a bit further out, however, catching a Grab is relatively inexpensive and you can always use pubic transport. The room is much larger than the City Centre place, lots of hawker markets and local restaurants. Overall a good experience

Easy online check in but difficult physical check in due to AC issues on the entire 6th floor but thanks to the amazing staff especially Praveen, Scott and Bernard who made it easy by offering an alternative room and then again upgrading us to a better room after. I appreciate their efforts and would like to thank them for being so courteous and hospitable.

Room size is super small and no space to even stand in washrooms. Staff was not helpful at all. Limited breakfast options, day 1 AC was not working. If you ask any help from the kitchen team they have there own set of rules which were rubbish. Not at all a recommended property. Waste of money and my stay with family.

One of the best 4 star hotels. Bedsheet, pillow cases and towels were clean. Mattress was the right firmness. Wash basin separated from shower and toilet. Sufficient space to hang clothes. Refrigerator was cold. All the usual amenities such as water boiler, hairdryer etc. are available in the room. Nothing to complain at all.

The rooms are perfect for a couple of nights stay, however be prepared for a hard mattress! the breakfast is limited but does cater for most people, it really depends on your personal taste.

The pool is a welcome break from the heat and is really nice.

The area is connected to everywhere via metro which is a short walk from the hotel. The local Hawker markets are an excellent place to eat, the food is fresh and cooked to order and the choices are huge. It took a little working how the system worked but once we had we eat there every night.

We loved our stay. It was utterly perfect - our room was small but spacious, and perfect for us who just wanted to use it to rest our head. I saw a comment about the bathrooms being too small to move which isn’t true - they’re fine.

The rooftop pool is great. There’s limited places to sit which could be improved but I wasn’t there to spend hours of my time so it wasn’t a problem to me.

The staff are so kind. I’ll return when I next visit Singapore.

The first non balcony room wasn't good as the sink was clogged, flush button was stiff and the TV control was a bit laggy.

The upgraded balcony room was much better and nicer. No issues.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 night stay . My room was exceptionally clean and larger than what I was expecting, having been warned that many hotel rooms in Singapore are very small. The staff were exceptionally helpful and went out of their way to assist me. I look forward to staying there for a lot longer on my return trip.

We stayed in this hotel for three nights to break up a long flight journey. Our twin room was on the small size, but this is to be expected at the reasonable price point in a very densely populated city. The staff members were all very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.
Check out was at mid-day which is late in comparison to many hotels and after checking out, we were able to leave our baggage in a secure area while we enjoyed the rest of the day exploring the city further. On our return later in the day, we were even permitted to use the roof top pool showers and hotel towels to freshen up before departing for the airport to catch our late evening onward flight.
The hotel is near many bus routes and a couple of MRT stations, so it was easy to explore several parts of the city by the very frequent buses and trains. There are also plenty of food stalls, restaurants and mini supermarkets nearby as well as ATM machines. All in all it was a handy and comfortable place to stay.

I was booked this hotel for taylor swift the eras tour few days ago for short overnight. It’s good smell at lobby, my room quite small but good for me, comfortable bed but no complimentary water just tap as staff inform. safe and can walk to nearest lavender mrt station around 10 min.

The rooms are very small and would be difficult for stays longer than a few days. There is very little storage space so if you have a large suitcase it would be in the way. Apart from that, the rooms are very comfortable. The pool is nice to swim in. The gym is really just a small room but there is a large community gym a block away. The location is fantastic. A great mix of trendy bars and coffee shops as well as more down to earth food courts and restaurants. Walking distance to Little India and more vitality than the usual orderliness of Singapore. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a modern Mercure property just outside Singapore centre (less than 10 minutes by taxi, depending on traffic). It has clean, reasonably-sized rooms and professional staff, and a small restaurant and coffee bar on site, also a nice pool. The area is typical \"old Singapore\" with lots of street food centres and small local cafes offering excellent Chinese, Indian and Malay food. All in all, excellent value for money and I enjoyed my stay.

Very happy with our choice of hotel, we chose it because we were able to have a room with a little garden, very nice for relaxing. The location is not ideal if you want shopping malls etc but there are MRat stations within easy walking distance and taxis are easy to get. Lots of eateries round about. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. We will certainly use the hotel again.

I stayed for a week. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and was cleaned daily. The lobby was a bit crowded daily with guests either waiting for check-in time or waiting for their bus after check-out. There are lots of dining places nearby. MRT was a few minutes walk (Bendemeer Station).

I will stay here again if I ever visit Singapore again.

The check-in system was seamless and quick. The location actually is convenient from a local's point of view, easy to go to town but back from town might be a little challenging for tourists unless they are familiar with the area.

The room soundproofing is ok, still can hear the next door dragging the chair. The bathroom is small but comfortable for a small to medium size person. The room comes with basic amenities and so far it's a quiet place to stay in.

Overall it's a 7.5 over 10 rating (location and bathroom)

The hotel is great. The rooms were clean and economical. They are small though they are set up well and work. The pool is on the rooftop and is quite warm and nice to relax in. There is a small gym though we didn't use it. The hotel has two little restaurants at breakfast we went a la carte and it was delicious. The staff at reception and restaurant were absolutely fantastic.. So friendly and helpful nothing was ever too much. You are better off taking your bags to room though. The man was so rude. We offended to take our own as they were super heavy but he wouldn't let us. Overall hotel is great for budget for hotel. Will stay again.

Good location close to MRT though we used the SBS buses out of rush hour as they were very efficient, fast and often more convenient.

Staff were pleasant but no one told us that you had to scan room key to start the lift and extra bedding was removed after 2 days and not replaced which is why ive marked them down. Minor issues I agree

Hotel is centrally located within walking distance of about 6 mins to Bendeemer MRT of Downtown Line (Blue), about 12 mins to Lavender MRT of East West Line (Green). These are within 2-3 stops from down area. Vicinity has numerous other hotels as well, along with food stalls just within arms length.

Rooms are your typical type & size, nothing to brag about but yet again nothing to moan of. Book twin beds and was allocated with a queen instead. Staff tried to make it good by changing to a twin bed room the following night.

For the price, location and what the hotel offers, it's good i must say.

This review was base on a recent night stay where I had seek help from the front desk staff and find that the management has not been empowering their duty managers to execute certain \"on the spot\" decisions and it has affected the hotel guests perception of returning stays.

In conclusion, the stay was simple BUT the hotel's adminstration/reservations team has left me extremely disappointed with their methods of handling straight forward issues.

The resort room has a nice small private garden to chill at night and the roof top swimming pool is not bad with a kids play pool. Downside is the room is small and slightly worn out. The counters are packed with tour groups and slow in response.
